Hey! My name is Becky, i'm 24 and studying Psychology when i'm not tearing up the deli at Coles serving the masses their shaved meats. I'm fairly quiet and spend a lot of time Netflixin' and watching embarassing videos on Youtube, however I also enjoy chatting with the occasional wine (not talking to the wine, preferably to humans whilst drinking said wine). I may potentially have a kitten as I have just found 3 abandoned kittens in a park, and although i've found a home for one, they're just so darn cute that it's tempting to take one on board. I hope to hear from you!
Hi I'm ash, I'm 21 years old and work full time at Bunnings northland, non smoker, no pets. Easy to get along with and mostly keep to myself :)
Hey all, I'm Elise, an 18 year old who moved to Melbourne just this year. I'm currently working in hospitality and looking for a home with a bunch of cool people who are willing to show me around, share a meal and an occasional drink
Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.
Hey, Hope you are well. My name is Asad and I have moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work purposes. I am 29 years Quality assurance officer and will be working there in Tullamarine area. Pretty clean and tidy easy going guy. Been living in Sydney from past 8 years. Moving down for work. Good cook and really enjoy nice and clean house plus decent company. If you are looking for a tidy, friendly person then drop me a message. Kind regards, Asad Akhlaque.
ABOUT ME: My name is Molly and I'm 31 years old. I am respectful of your space if you need it, and also bubbly and up for a chat, a board game, watching TV or going to the gym together, or sharing a meal if that's what you're into. I like a clean house. I have lived in houses where we had cleaning rosters and that worked. Where I am living now, we just clean up after ourselves and that works too. What doesn't work is mess and disrespect for public spaces! I work full time as a Podiatrist. When I get home from work, you might find me doing one or more of the following: watching TV, working out at the gym, filling in on a netball team, visiting friends/family for dinner, on my laptop, researching, playing sudoku, cooking a delicious fresh healthy meal, or heating up a frozen meal! I am a non-smoker, and only drink occasionally. I would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I recycle, drive a Prius, and like to keep a compost for food scraps. I am looking to live with one or two at most other people. I don't care if you are male or female, as I have lived with both over the years. I care that you are nice, housetrained, respectful, and appreciate my bubbly side! FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: I am happy to share communal items such as milk and toilet paper, otherwise I usually prepare my own food. If I make something special a big lasagne, you are welcome to share. I'm fine if you eat the last of my cookies, as long as you replace them! I would love to live in a beautiful bright house, with built in robes (I don't own a wardrobe); and a clean (modern) kitchen and bathroom. I own a bookshelf with glass doors which I love. I have a buffet and hutch, and chest of drawers - both currently at my parents house, which I can keep there if they're not needed. Otherwise I don't own much else as I got rid of everything that I owned when I moved to Queensland, and only took what would fit in my car. So hopefully you would own household items that I can share. DESCRIPTION OF PET: Sophie will be 9 years old in December. She is my fluffy baby - tortoise shell. She sleeps on my bed with me at night. She is very affectionate, and often lies on her back for belly rubs. I don't like kitty litter, so usually leave a window open for her. She has lived with other pets: cats, dogs, egg laying chooks and a bunny. She got along with ex housemates two cats, but doesn't get along with my mums cat! She used to sleep side by side with my ex-boyfriends two dogs, but is scared of my current housemates dog! She and the bunny used to play together. The chooks would dig for worms around her while she lay in the sun. Looking forward to hearing from you !

Hi all. My name is Jenny and I am a nurse working PT 8/shifts a fortnight. I don't work night shifts so that's a bonus! I like to keep myself tidy and respect the space I am in. I enjoy chatting and helping people yet will always respect your privacy and space. I also enjoy lifting weights and once I find a good gym nearby I will also probably be there a lot. I do like to just be out and about on my days off. I'm pretty quiet generally and thus would prefer a non-party home. ☺️👍 I'm looking for a room with an own bathroom, furnished preferably but if unfurnished it's ok also. Thanks 😊

I'm Brittany, a 20 year old female looking to move in with some fun loving people around my age (male or female). I have two jobs, one working at a trampoline centre and the other at a animal facility. I'm currently studying at Latrobe University so I am constantly out and about however always keen on a bit of household drinking, banter and the occasional harry potter marathon. Originally from Geelong, I've lived in Melbourne for two years and moving out of student accommodation at Latrobe Uni next month. Looking to move in somewhere early November. I come with furniture and a large appreciation for Disney movies. Keen on anything around 6-12 months.
Our colourful palace of curio and kitsch in Coburg North is seeking a new housemate. Our place is close by the merlynston station (upfield line), has a huge kitchen with dishwasher and free standing gas stove, floorboards through most of the house, a garden about to go berserk, a shed space for storage and a studio space which would be good for a painter or sewist or other crafty endeavor. The house itself is fully furnished, you'd just need to kit your room out which is a decent size.
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller.
I have a full time job and need a furnished room to live in. Moving over from New Zealand at the end of Oct. Love movies, also like to have time to myself as well as well as socializing as I don't know many people in Melbourne yet. seeking a nice relaxed place. thank you
My name is Tom. I am a 23yo English backpacker travelling with my girlfriend Lana (25, Irish). Last week we were granted our second year visas and after travelling down the east coast for the last month we are excited to settle down in Melbourne for our second year. I work in a bar and I am looking for a second part time job in the CBD. Lana works in a call centre near Vic market. We are a friendly, sociable couple who love quiet nights in as well as the having the odd drink with friends. We are sporty and will be gone a few evenings a week to play dodgeball!
I'm looking to team up, females only please. I'm friendly and easy going, looking to share a place with another female of similar age (late 20's or thirties). I am not looking at going into a pre-established household. I am looking at moving into a place of my (and your) own, not into somebody else's home. Teaming up and going into a place together is what I am seeking, as I've had experience moving into others' houses, and it hasn't felt like my home. "My house, my rules" is not what I'm seeking. I'd like to share with someone friendly who likes to chat, but who also likes their own space. Ideally I'd like to share with one other female, maybe two. I have my own bedroom belongings, kitchenware, and tv/cabinet. I like living in a neat and tidy environment, so would like to share with someone who also likes a clean and tidy environment, as well as a relaxed environment. I'm looking somewhere preferably along the Sydney Rd strip/Upfield train line, ideally Coburg region, reasonably close to a train station (within walking distance). I would prefer to share a house that has a bit of breathing space. I like a house with good natural lighting, and a comfortable sized bedroom. An added bonus would be somewhere with a bit of a backyard & front yard. I drive a car, so also seeking off street parking. I like to go to the gym and live a healthy lifestyle, enjoy getting out on weekends as well as quiet days in front of the tv. I love watching tennis and am an avid lover of anything from the 80's.
I'm Michelle, full time student, Vietnamese background and a barista. I'm looking for a single room for renting. I'm tidy, clean, friendly person and a shy girl sometimes :). I would love to have more chances to practice my English as well as understanding Australian culture. Non- smoker, not a party animal. Love doing yoga n some others sports, also love cooking. I am looking for a room to rent maximum abt $160 per week including all bills Thanks
Hiya! We are two girls who moved over from London in March to start a fresh in Melbourne! I know everyone gives a whole long winded spiel so we decided to keep it short and sweet - straight to the point! We like to think that we got those 3 F's & 3R's: Fun Friendly & Funky / Relaxed Reliable & Respectful Ideally looking for people who like to socialise on the weekend but also wanna hang out in the living room watching films and enjoying meals together during the week. We will be searching for two separate rooms in this shared/ new home, and preferably people who agree that a clean house is a happy house! We are open to live with all genders just as long as we are on the same wavelength! Let us know asap !
A modern and sunny 2 bedroom, 2-storey terrace in a great location, only 5 minutes walk to buses, trains and a supermarket. The house is in a quiet street and features; polished floors, high ceilings, open plan lounge and dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, main bathroom with downstairs toilet. The area has lots of bike paths, and there's a park across the road. If you have a car, there's usually parking right outside the house. There are 3 balconies with views of the CBD.
Brazilian guy in Australia for the third time (do I love this country or what...). I am a very laid back, relaxed and sociable person. I am also clean and tidy and respectful to other housemates' space and life flow. Although I have a busy life, I do enjoy a movie, dinner or a few drinks with housemates when time allows. I am currently doing a PhD at Melbourne Uni which takes a lot of my time and may need some quiet time for reading/writing so not looking for a party house. My hobbies involve music (listening, playing, watching it live, reading about it), conversations, the usual Netflix from time to time and getting to see new venues/bars/cafes in this beautiful city. Say hi if you want to know more :)

We are a tidy, creative, vegan/vegetarian couple (but don't mind if you aren't), easy-going & reliable people. We're back in Australia to visit family & to organise our move to Europe. I'm Australian & Johnny is Canadian. I'm a trained primary school teacher as well as a soul/RnB/blues recording artist/multi-instrumentalist & Johnny is a guitar/bass guy & web designer :) Got kids or pets? I'm happy to help out here and there too! Cleaning? I have worked for professional cleaning companies. We don't drink or party much these days, but don't mind if you do as we generally go to bed late (although as a sub teacher, I probably won't be!). I am well-traveled having lived in SE Asia, the US & Canada the last few years & visiting Europe, the Middle East & Africa, so I like to think I'm pretty open-minded & easy to get along with. Thanks for reading, and we hope to meet you soon!

Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
My name is Matty and I work as both a professional drummer and as a scientist. I am looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new one with a garage for my music gear and practice. Being a professional drummer that is chasing a goal of being largely successful I am in need a garage (ideally unattached from the house) to accommodate my practice. I Only practice until approximately 9pm of an evening (I get home from work at 6) and I don't ever start before midday on the weekends, keeping in mind too that I regularly have rehearsals and gigs and things so it doesn't happen at full volume every day but as regularly as I can fit it in which ends up being about 3 times per week - so not really much at all. Personality wise I am, friendly, approachable, confident, logical, dedicated and love meeting new people and being social (when I have time for it). I have lived in several share houses over the last 8 years and have no problem adapting to new environments and personalities. I love a good chat and I love people. I am an avid musician and get into the footy a little bit (I grew up in the country, I'm sorry :P ). I also try to hit up the gym a few times a week. I'm clean and very much want the people I live with to be clean and tidy.. my room is usually out of control, but everywhere else in the house is always tidy and clean. As I mentioned, I am very much working towards developing a successful musical career, so moving into a place that I can set my drumming up in a garage is on the top of my priority list, followed immediately by having awesome housemates! Ideally it would be great to have housemates that can I get along well enough with to have a beer and go out for a meal but that also have their own independent lives going on. Between working full-time, rehearsing, touring and performing, I go between being home most nights to being out or away for (seemingly) weeks at a time. I have "done my time" so to speak, in uni party houses and have outgrown such living circumstances, thus, I am clean and tidy and respectful of the need to keep the place that way. This doesn't mean I don't love a party, which I do, but, am just looking for reasonable common sense/courteous type people, and also having a kitchen that I am not afraid to cook in! Also - I will be overseas in Central America and California from late September until early November - thus, I'm looking for somewhere to move in the first 2 weeks of November for at least 1 year.
Hi guys, My name is Balaji and am a 27 year old. I am a photovoltaic engineer and a full time working professional in a leading power electronic manufacturing company in Tullamarine. I have been in Melbourne for around 2 years. I live in Craigieburn at the moment and my lease will be getting over next month. I am a pretty laid-back and chilled person, pay my bills & rents on time and will keep the house neat & tidy. Looking for a housemate with a similar mindset. I love cooking food, try new recipes, enjoy few drinks with my housemates during weekends. If you have a house to rent where we can team up, please drop me a message or give me a call. I am more than happy to have a chat and proceed further. Cheers, Balaji
I hope to find a place where the cost of bills, internet and rent total less than $250 a week. I'm not expecting to have to move till late October/November. I have lots of kitchen tools etc, a microwave and my own bedroom furniture which I want to keep, so no furnished room offers please. I do not wish to share a room with anyone either, sorry. I'm neat and prefer a clean house. Don't have a car, so would prefer to be close to a train stop. And I would like the use of a bath and washing machine. I'm very interested in crafts, and need space for both my study and this interest - promise not to spread myself around. I love to garden, bake, ride my bike and enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I am friendly, caring, respectful of others and their space and happy to make arrangements about food, chores etc. I love dogs, hate cats and won't stand reptiles. Happy to live with children. Next year is my last year of study for my P-12 teaching degree. I study at Vic Uni and can be at St Albans one day and Footscray the next. I also work full time in Melbourne's CBD. Happy to answer any questions.
I enjoy cooking unsophisticated but satisfying food - the kind where you put a bunch of ingredients in a pot, heat it up and add spices! Easy going and low maintenance, I'm just as comfortable keeping to myself as going out, watching tv shows and movies, or playing the odd video game. If you like classic consoles, I may have just the thing. I'm currently working as an engineer/programmer.
A quiet couple who will both be studying and working part time in 2017. We are looking for a homely environment, not a party house, and preferably close (<15min walk) to transport.
**Please read before messaging me - Need two rooms as I am a single mother with a 7 year old son name Liam. Currently looking for a safe environment and place for me and my son to call home. Have separated recently and our current lease at the moment ends early next year. Preferably looking for a female to share with or even better with a couple with kids or a single parent. I am 30 years old and work full time in the city, so looking for a place not too far from the CBD will be preferred. I do have a beautiful Kelpie X absolutely adorable with kids, people and other animals and also well behaved. You will find me very easy going and easy to get along with. Do enjoy a good chat from time to time, I have a lot of respect for others and their privacy as well. I do enjoy cooking and I am also a tidy and clean person. If you are wanting to know more about me please do drop me a message and I would be happy to have a chat to discuss more :)
