We are a couple from Ireland and are moving to Melbourne in October for at least 2 years. We are sociable, easy going, fun loving, interesting people and we are easy to live with. We get up early and work hard (we are both Dentists) but also like going places and doing cultural things. We are active people and like gymming, CrossFit, running, footy, yoga, surfing, snowboarding/skiing. We also like to eat healthily and love coffee! We do have many other interests also, watching films, reading and we have travelled all around the world making friends with people from all backgrounds. We also love to have a drink (or 10) at the weekend or when we have time off and would hope to make friends with the people we like with and not just share a house! We've come to Melbourne to experience a new city and meet some new people. Looking forward to hearing back from you! Rebecca + Joseph
I'm just an average Aussie chick: quiet, clean, mature, friendly and will always pay my rent. I work a part-time job, and in my spare time I enjoy going to cafes, watching movies, cooking, shopping, petting cats, snoozing, etc I'm more of an introvert, but am always looking to make friends too. Shoot me a message if you think I'd suit your place!
I'm an outgoing, extroverted and always positive Swede who's going to be doing my master's thesis at RMIT between the 9th of August and the 25th of December. I usually have a really easy time getting to know people and quickly make friends wherever I go. I take every chance that I can get at meeting new people, as this is something that has brough me a lot of happiness and cool experiences over the years. I love going on adventures, camping, surfing, rock climbing, kayaking and other outdoorsy activities. If I'm not planning another trip somewhere, I'm usually out doing one of these things. For the last 7 years or so I've been travelling the world while also studying to become an engineer, which will hopefully help me land my dream job as a product developer of outdoor gear. I lived and travelled in Australia for a year and a half 2011-2013 and I really liked the lifestyle and the laidback attitude of the people, which is why I decided to come back! I've been sharing houses, apartments and hostels with people most of my grown up life, and I've definitely come to realise what makes a good housemate. I see it as something obvious to clean up after yourself and keep the common spaces tidy, but I'm in no way a clean freak. I'm looking for housemates who love to do things especially getting out of the city, but also just going to the gym or other fun activities. Let me know if you want any more information or want to know a bit more about me! Simon

I am Sri Lankan and a full time PhD student at RMIT. Easy to live with and friendly. Clean and tidy. I love watching movies, cricket and also travelling. *Non-smoker
This house is frikkin' sweet! It's been completely modernised inside with a new kitchen and bathroom, central gas heating and aircon in the living areas. It's got a big back verandah to chill on and a huge rear garden with room to move and some big trees (which we love) The room is a 3m x 3.3m size with lots of powerpoints as with the whole house. It's fairly quiet and really comfortable. There's nice furniture and there's a lot of great kitchen appliances/utensils, because I love to cook. Also we have an attic! You can store stuff in the attic and it has one of those fold down roof hatches with a ladder so it's pretty easy to access, it does get dusty up there, so better to store your hard wearing stuff. We have Fibre to the Curb (FTC) NBN which runs damn fast. The Coburg Hill shops are down the same street about 800 metres. There's Woolworths, Jetts Gym, A Fish and Chip shop, a couple of cafe's and a BWS liquor store. Edgars creek is right next to the house and is really quite nice to go down and soak up some nature.
I am 32 years old man from Iran. I am clean. I really can not stand messy room. I study master of cyber security, so most of the time working on computer and studying.
I am a 23 year old female who is very easy going, friendly, tidy and respectful of my housemates. I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne around the Coburg, Essendon, Pascovale area. I enjoy music, fashion and hanging out with my friends. Originally from country Victoria and looking to make friends in the city. I work full time. Happy to share with a couple of housemates and to hang out with you as well. I enjoy a glass of wine on occasions and love seeing a live band or attending a music festival
Hi guys I’m looking for an amazing room and house mate to share with. I’m originally from England and have lived in Australia for 5 years now. I’ve onky just recently moved to Melbourne from Sydney because of work. I’m looking share with someone who could potentially be a friend as well as a housemate.
Hey! I'm Sunder, recently landed melbourne with wife. I'm a chef working in melbourne airport from mid august. My wife is in job hunt. We need accomodation ASAP. Ensuite or own bathroom is much preferred. We generally prefer to stay at room but will make our own food. Thanks In Advance :)
My name is Krystal, i am currently looking for somewhere for myself and my pet ferret named Pluto to live. Ideally, for a longer period of time. I have my own washer, dryer & fridge. I have amazing kitchen ware if needed. I have a lot of that Adulty house stuff. If it's not needed I'll probably just store it. Pluto is very friendly. He is used to people and coming into contact with other animals. I'm a musician at heart and have a lot of instruments. Tho I usually go to band prac to get loud. I work for myself, in the entertainment industry which requires my being outgoing all the time, so when I'm at home I like to be pretty low key. I spend a lot of time by myself, I do enjoy my own company, although I'm not anti social and will happily spend time hanging out with people I live with. Pluto requires: an outdoor space for his cage, and an indoor space to run around during his 'play time' ( if I had an ensuite that would be Perfect!) I require: housemate/s that respect each other, are 420 friendly, enjoy food ( I looooove to cook!) and let's face it can clean up after themselves 😝
I am a really down to earth kind of girl. Love to eat and can cook amazing food as well. So that’s a bonus for you 🙊. I work full time in Tullamarine. Love to socialise over a beer or glass of wine! But ultimately love to be snuggled up watching Netflix. I just moved to Melbourne from the sunny Gold Coast/Brisbane.

Real cheap room available for friendly housemate, nestled away in cozy North Coburg. Our humble abode, comes with two exceptionally excellent people (if I do say so myself). I’m Ryland, 21 RMIT engineering student with a love of music and all things science, my housemate Taylor is a vibrant lover of fashion and music who likes to keep life interesting, often seeking quirky adventures or activities to keep away a mundane lifestyle. We are excepting of all races, genders snd sexualities as long as you are tidy and respectful. Looking for someone to move till at least the end of the year (when the lease ends). It’s a 30min leisurely train ride along the Upfield line to Melbourne Central station. And the house only 7 minutes away from the station, ideally situated from the noise! Kitchen is fully equipped and the living area fully furnished. We also have a trampoline in our front yard we sometimes sun bake on 🤷🏻♂️ If the idea of cheap rent and friendly housemates isn’t enough to sell you, the house is in close enough proximity to the Coburg Velodrome that whenever an event is on the venue offer us free tickets (we got to see The Smith Street Band play for free in the first week we moved in!) 🙌🏼 Shoot me a message if you are interested to meet and see the room, looking forward to hearing from you! 😊 We’re also smoking and pet friendly. No couples, sorry!
We are a couple looking for a new place to call home. Our move date is simply a placeholder - we are ready to move as soon as possible. Jyoti is an engineering researcher and Zach is a retail sales assistant. In our spare time we like to visit new places around Melbourne, work out and watch movies. We're both clean, very easy to get along with and love nothing more than a happy, calm environment in which to live.
The property is close to both tram stop (Number 19) and train station (Upfield Line). The property has a bbq and small back yard that is great in summer time and has laundry facilities. Living room TV has netflix account and the whole house has ducted heating. Bedroom is generous and has a built in robe. There is a second toilet downstairs.
