I work in construction management and usually do fairly long hours with early starts, so I tend to just chill out in the evenings. I'm pretty easy going and tidy. Always up for some food and wine or coffee. I have been living with mum after returning from working in Adelaide, so I don't really have any furniture I love animals, a pet in the house is a huge plus. I have a cat but she will be staying with my mum. I will probably be out most of the weekend catching up with friends/family/cat
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers Preferred move in date: 4/7/2018 Move out date: 21/11/2018
Hellooooooo guys! I'm Thomas, a 28 year old working holiday maker from the Netherlands. I arrived in Oz about 8 months ago, but I love it so much here that I'm going to extend my visa with another year. Obviously, Melbourne is the place to be hence I'd like to absorb all the good vibes this city has to offer! I'm looking for a place that feels like home with a bunch of friendly outgoing people, though I'm not looking for a party house. Are you looking for a spontaneous, funny guy to join your 'family'? Look no further and send me a message! Cheers
You'll be living in a charming period house with 3 easy going and lovely housemates (and a female cat) . The house features massive kitchen, lounge, a huge shed and backyard. Tram and bus stop are right at the doorstep and batman train station is just 7 minutes walk from the house. The area is close to what coburg and brunswick has to offer, plenty of shops and restaurants around. The room up for grabs is a huge bedroom and partially furnished with a double bed and mattress. And also, it is up to you whether you want your name to be on the lease or not. Just let us know in advance your preferred length of stay and we'll discuss more.
Room for rent with Ensuite, fully furnished 4 year old town house house has central heating and cooling and everything you need, living with 2 mid twenties males that work 9-5, friendly, social and like a good laugh. Train station is only a short walk and 20 mins via train ride to the cbd . Room comes with its own bathroom/shower also can provide a single bed if needed , NBN internet available. Looking for someone that is an easy going, clean respectful person who pays bills on time. No fixed lease, this is a very quiet house, not a party house. Price does not include bills
Professional Engineer early 30's, Recently moved back from living in Canada for a few years. I eat healthy, respectful, clean and generally quiet and easy going. I'll be doing a bit of travel for work so wont always be home, always happy to chip in with house work. Bit of a nerd at times but love my Ice Hockey and Footy. Would love to live with like minded respectful people late 20's to late 30's who are working, not after a party house.
This unit needs a full renovation however I will be renting it out for 2-5 months beforehand. About the property: Two bedroom villa unit boasting spacious light filled proportions, walking distance to a host of amenities and adjacent Coburg Lake Reserve, Bedrooms with built-in robes share a neat central bathroom with laundry alcove, while a single garage provides secure parking. In a flourishing pocket, handy to buses, trams and Batman Station, Upfield Bike Path and Merri Creek trails, schools and the cosmopolitan delights of bustling Sydney Road.
We are both Chinese Malaysians couple who migrated here last year and currently looking for a place to move into. We had been living in Melbourne for almost a year. My partner is woking full time whereas I am a full time student. We prefer to rent the whole property or unit as we are late nighters. We do not party but we just prefer to do our work and studying at night. Prefer to have the place furnished as we do not own any furniture currently. Feel free to message us if you think you have a place that we might like.
I'm a pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line I have a degree in applied science (chem), and 11+ yrs experience as an electronics tech. I'm a bit handy with computers, and fixing some stuff around the house. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine/beer, a chat about politics/economics/technology/society..., video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening, but largely keeping to myself. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. - Sam
Hey! My name is Kate, I am 29 and work full time as a Project Coordinator in the CBD. As a housemate, I pay my bills on time (if not in advance), I like to keep to myself (I am an introvert) but I do love to share a glass of wine or a beer on the occasion which brings out the socialite in me! I am tidy, respectful and considerate of how I might affect your space or comfort in the house. I keep my weeknights pretty tame, and enjoy relaxing on the weekends. However, every now and then I love to get out and adventure around Melbourne sight seeing new places - don't mind a drink at a new bar too. I love horses, Bali, cats, reading and a good conversation about things you are passionate about. Currently I am based in Brunswick, but due to a change in circumstances my housemate and I are moving out of our apartment. I'm looking to find something semi-flexible as I have plans to move back to South Australia eventually (my family reside in SA), so it'd be great to find a room with minimal fuss, that I can help pay the rent for but without the restrictions of going on a lease. I have plenty of positive rental history which I am happy to share with you further. I also have a 9 yo inside kitty cat named Tipsy who is my little princess, I really want to bring her with me. There’s a chance I may take her home to SA with my parents later on but knowing I have the option to bring her would be comforting. Thanks and hope to chat with you soon!
Hi, I'm Jacky. I work as a full time primary school teacher in Glenroy. I am looking for a home where I can stay long term but also closer to where I work. Having lived in student accommodation with a variety of people over the last four years in university and now also living independently with a flatmate (through flatmates.com.au funnily enough), it has made me adaptable and easygoing as a housemate. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long day of work and am introverted in nature, I am always down for bonding opportunities and exchanging some amazing banter over a couple of bevs. I am a fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, going to the gym, corny jokes and quality brunches. (Bonus points if you enjoy Netflix and can become friends with this nerd) I can have an active nightlife from time to time, however I keep that outside no matter what and never bring any of that racket home. If I have friends over, I'll always ask for permission first and keep noise to a minimum. Cleanliness has always been a priority to me and I make it a commitment that it remains so in communal areas. My ideal home would be: - Close to public transport and shops (walking distance preferred). - Have space for parking because I have a car (off street or on street is fine). - Inclusive of all bills. - Budget friendly (unfortunately my rent budget is non-negotiable and cannot go any higher than stated). Long story short; if you're looking for a housemate, a new friend, and a tenant who pays their rent on time - I might just be what you're looking for! As I work on a 8-6 schedule, I will not be able to take calls. The best way to reach me is through this website and I'll get back to you ASAP! Looking forward to hear from you soon :)
Despite being on the wall of shame, for being unable to devour the gargantuan hot dog (see above), I am still a great human being. I promise, even ask my mum. Onto the boring stuff about myself: -- I am 25 years old. -- Working as an audio engineer at Crystal Mastering -- Work in a nightclub on the weekend -- I play the drums -- Quiet but enjoy hanging out with housemates I have 7 years of rental history, with sharing houses with girls and guys.
I’m 27 years old, male, work full time in Admin/Conveyancing for a CBD Law firm, but my true passion is music. I perform regularly around town, often touring and recording. I also DJ most weekends in bars and clubs so I’m out quite a bit. Other interests include comedy (esp. British), world history and international politics. I’m quite independent and busy chasing my dreams, burning the midnight oil most nights.. but also very friendly, outgoing and approachable. I love a clean, tidy household that's nice to come home to, and I’m ultra-reliable on all fronts. I'm after a room which is pretty large in size, ideally at least 3 x 4m - I have some items to contribute to the house if required, otherwise I’m happy to leave in storage. These include, 2 x couches, Fridge, HD TV, various chairs and tables, microwave, Plates, pots, utensils etc.. One last thing: I have a car, so I'd just need somewhere to park it. Hope to hear from you soon! =)
I am a human resource professional, moving to Melbourne in search for a job. I am married, lived most of my life in middle east. Easy going, always up for a chat, loves shopping and enjoys the gym during the week. Looking for a place which is clean, tidy and where each other’s privacy will be respected.
The house is very large and spacious, high ceilings, lots of natural light through the big windows in the living/dining area. Really close to public transport (the 19 tram and Batman train station). Walking distance from Merri Creek, which is lovely. Really close to Sydney Road and all the shops there. Heating and aircon (aircon only in the loungeroom) with a fireplace in the lounge. Hardwood floors throughout. The backyard is small but has a mandarin tree and a peach tree in it; happy for anyone to plant anything in the garden they would like to (its full of rose bushes atm).
Heya! I'm Jake Timpano. I'm looking for a room in a sharehouse in the northern area of Melbourne. I'm 26, about to turn 27. I'll be working full-time as a storeman at Broadmeadowsfrom the 4th of next month. Previously to here in SA, I lived in Victoria while I was with the Army and so I'm pretty familiar with the area and have a strong friend-base already there from different social circles. I'm a non-smoker and love dogs but won't be bringing any pets. I enjoy a drink when with friends or just chilling, binging stuff on netflix. I'm keen on fitness and health and drag myself into the gym most days of the week. I cook for myself most nights and meal-prep for the week. I'm pretty big into LARPing, gaming and other nerdy stuff and it keeps me busy when I'm not out with friends or working. Having lived in shared accommodation situations for the last few years, I'm habitually tidy and neat with a good respect for privacy and space. Ideally, I'd like to bring all my own furniture for my room from here in SA.
Room: The bedroom is in a recently built house, bright sunny room. The room comes with a double size bed and mattress, curtains, carpet, desk, office type swivel chair, and built-in wardrobe. You will need to supply your own pillows and blanket (quilt). If you need pillows and blanket (quilt) this can be arranged. Area: The house located in a new estate with Woolworths, cafes, gym and dentist a few blocks away from the property. Buses and trams are within walking distance. Buses will take you to either Preston or Bell St train station. If you are into nature, the Merry's Creek is only 5 mins walk away. Housemate: You will be sharing the house with 3 full-time professional men and a little house dog. 2 of us are in a permanent shift work roles, while the other is in a 9-5 role. As for the dog, she is a maltese cross indoor dog, she loves cuddles and sleeping on your laps. Beside respecting each other's privacy and living style, we like to keep the house clean, tidy and "homely". We like watching a movie, tv shows, gaming (computer and board games). Note: - Rent includes weekly rent, all bills and fortnightly cleaning of the shared space (bathrooms, living rooms and kitchen). We will be sharing the cost of some amenities (toilet rolls, laundry detergents and etc - unless you prefer buying your own). - this is a "home" and not a frat house/party house. The owner is living in the house. We are looking for a professional who we can share and look after the house. If this fits you, contact me now and all you need is to bring your bag/s, settle down and enjoy the house with us. House is equipped with: Central Heater Evaporative cooler NBN Internet - WiFi
The room available is huge with plenty of space for a desk, shelves even a couch! It will be unfurnished with an ensuite but the house is fully furnished, all you need is your bed 😉😉 The house is located in Coburg close to number 11 tram and basic amenities. The house has a garage and backyard and plenty of parking all around. There's 6 months left on the lease with an option to extend. Utilities are divided up evenly but the house is super eco friendly so our bills are never high. House has everything you need and is ready for someone to move in. Future house mate needs to be down with hanging out and being social, this is not a come and go share house.
Currently living in Coburg and have been living in Brunswick since 2012. I am a 30 year old from Mumbai, India where I finished my degree in Law. Also a certified yoga teacher but I do not teach as yet as this can take years of practice and discipline. I am currently working two jobs. I am looking to study in the future and as of now I am volunteering with the Neighbourhood house at Reynard Street in Coburg. I volunteer as an admin and as a Barista. I love coffee, cats, vegan recipes, cooking(unapologetically spicy Indian food), running and doing yoga. I am friendly, helpful, can be slightly organized but never dirty. I always clean up after myself. I can get lost in my own world but never anti-social. I love company and always available for a chat. I have been told I am amazing but only with long monthly intervals ;)
I am Mayura, 24 and I'm hoping to find a place to call a home. I'm currently a full time masters student at RMIT and work part time for the Student Union which means I'm generally a busy human. I have been living in share houses for 6 years now so I'm fairly experienced with sharing a house and the responsibilities that come with it. I'm social and love to get to know people but also understand and respect people's need for privacy and space. I'm all for sharing a beer or meal occasionally ( I make a mean curry )and discussing anything from philosophy to the absolute mundane. Cheers!
