Hey everyone! my name is Sophie. I am moving from Sydney to Melbourne in Feb 2019 to start my PHD in Criminology at the University of Melbourne. Looking for somewhere long-term to live, whether that be in a share house or granny flat. I come with a sweet girl cat called Tupelo, who is very friendly and loves pats. I am a great housemate and have been share housing for the last 6 years. I am very clean and organised and having a warm, friendly, clean home is very important to me (I am a cancer, go figure :P). In Sydney I am in an accapella band called The Bad Bitch Choir, I love music and singing and would love to find somewhere to keep doing this in Melbourne. I am Queer, super left-wing and a feminist with a capital F. So looking for a house hold where this is embraced! I also love to cook, and have been dumpster diving for the last few years so if you are into that we could do that together! Please message me if you think I would be a good fit for your place and your are looking for someone in February :)
Hi! I am a Norwegian student who is going to take an exchange semester at the University of Melbourne from February - end of June/beginning of July. I am therefore looking for a place to stay! I would consider myself easy going, friendly and tidy, and I am looking for someone similar. Not interested in a party house although I wouldn't mind small gatherings like a dinner or BBQ. Since I'm just coming with a few suitcases I would prefer a furnished room!
Study a double degree of Commerce/Agriculture Science at La Trobe Bundoora campus. I'm a neat and tidy person who takes pride in cleaning up after myself. Looking for a place to alternate between chilling out and having a bit of socialisation. I enjoy just about everything and have spent 2 years on student res so quite keen to socialise & be able to have my own space as well. Also enjoy bouldering, swimming and the gym when I can muster the energy required. Love having a few causal drinks in any location
Move date: 10th January 2018 - max. from end of Dec. I'm a female photographer, a creative person, have a degree in cultural anthropology and now I'm a mature age student of Latrobe University - Bachelor of Nursing aiming to do preventative health promotion rather than traditional nursing. I'm fairly social and active, but craving my own quiet time between, I prefer a chilled home. I love art, I'm conscious of the environment, politics and social justice. I'm fun loving mix of extrovert and introvert qualities. I have traveled extensively and love cultural diversity. I like to cook healthy, maintain a clean environment, I'm out going on the weekends. I don't drink (other than the odd glass of a craftie), but rather socialize out and about, see an exhibition, be in nature, listen to music or go for a boogie with friends. I'm considerate, respect other people's privacy and property. I'm fine with smokers as long as it's outdoor. I like to find a good balance in spending time with my flat mates, have fun, creating a great vibe, and also to let them to be. I'm happy to go with any furnishing arrangements. If needed, I have fridge, washing machine etc. but they also can stay in my storage. I'm flexible with arrangements. I'm looking forward hearing from you. Cheers, Zita
If the idea of cheap rent and friendly housemates isn’t enough to sell you, the house is in close enough proximity to the Coburg Velodrome that whenever an event is on the venue offer us free tickets (we got to see The Smith Street Band play for free in the first week we moved in!) 🙌🏼 Shoot me a message if you are interested to meet and see the room, looking forward to hearing from you! 😊 We’re also smoking friendly. No couples, sorry!
I am looking for friendly accommodation with like minded people. I've been living in Melbourne for just over a year, and I love this city, and wish to explore more of it. I'm currently studying contemporary and jazz music performance. I also perform around Melbourne and work part time.
Beautiful large 2 bedroom, 2 storey modern townhouse with a courtyard and garage (mostly used for storage). Large kitchen with open plan dining and living area and lots of natural light (and indoor plants). 4 reverse cycle systems so very easy and efficient to heat and cool. The house is fully furnished besides the bedroom. Also have access to NBN with great internet speeds. 5 minute walk to train station and 10 minute walk to tram stop. Also close to small shopping strip with Foodworks, cafes and other shops.
Hey, I'm Holly! I'm a student (starting a Ph.D in late January) so looking to move a little closer to the city. Hobbies include video games, obsessing over myers-briggs, and petting your dog/cat. I'm young, but have been renting/share-housing for 7 years! I've found that I enjoy living with creative, open-minded people, but am not looking for a party house. My Ph.D is a long-term commitment, so I'm looking for a long-term home! Although I'm quite extroverted, I'm more than happy to keep to myself. I'm pretty easy going, my only requirement is unlimited internet (but I'm happy to pay the difference if we need to upgrade). I look forward to meeting you!
I'm a quiet person, keep to myself mostly. People tell me I have OCD but I just like keeping things neat and in order, haha. I'm almost always on my computer, as I use it for everything. Going to study my Diploma of Music Industry in 2019 and hoping for a place near to TAFE.
Hello! We have a BIG room available right now in our amazing Coburg Nth house with your name on it! We are looking for fun and creative LGBTQIA+ women/enbys and/or allys to share this amazing light filled, spacious home of ours. You'll be sharing with two lovely ladies, Juliet (28) and Caitlin (23). This house is perfect for the activity/creativity lover: We have a big back sun room ready to be filled with all of the creative projects you could wish for, a massive shed for all of the DIY and extra storage, and beautiful garden with herbs and space for more to be planted, as well as a crazy backyard cage(?) that we theorized used to be a huge veggie garden or chicken coop. Haven’t even scraped the surface of the last one but perhaps that will take your fancy to embark on some restoration, who knows? The rest of the house is in extremely good condition and spacious in every room, kitchen, lounge, hallways, you name it. We even have the most amazing spa bath, oh, and two toilets, one separate to the main bathroom. It also gets filled with light and stays cool in the heated days, the perfect summer house. It's a 6-minute walk to the Upfield train line (30 minutes to Flinders St), a 10-minute walk to the 19 tram, a 3 minute drive or 20 minutes walk to a large Coles, as well as having local cafes, a pharmacy and a Foodworks a 2 minute walk away. There is unrestricted on street parking and a driveway that we operate on a first come first serve basis. We have solar panels on the house (helloooo cheaper bills), and are NBN ready! Ducted heating AND air-con for these crazy hot days coming up, yeesh. ROOM: ($720/month): Unfurnished, Large sized, floorboards, 3 door built in robes (with mirrors), security shutter. Furniture: The more the merrier! No pets sorry! – Juliet's allergic ☹

One car garage that's taken up by spare furniture, but plenty of on street parking. Not the closest to public transport, maybe a 15 minute walk to the closest tram, but Woolworths, a chemist, Jets Gym and Deganis are a minute walk down the road Email me with a link to your profile
I'm a personal trainer and movement coach who works early mornings looking for a quiet space. I'm chilled, tidy and love cooking, personal development, training and writing. I'm looking for a quiet space to unwind and call home and someone who's looking for the same.
Hi there, I'm a quiet bloke, working full-time, non smoker, enjoy cooking and watching movies. Looking for team up or room with private bathroom. Respectfully of people, clean and responsible. I am originally from Chile.
Hi everyone, my name is Miranda, 31, I am working as a full time physiotherapist in Alphington. I have been off adventuring overseas for the last year, and I am looking to settle back into Melbourne life. I love all things Melbourne, and am obviously obsessed with food and coffee. I enjoy going to gigs, staying active, camping, and getting outdoors as much as I can. My hobbies include trail running, cycling, bike touring, reading and listening to podcasts about amazing adventurous women! When at home I like to chill out, read, cook and spend hours choosing something to watch on Netflix. In the next little while I'm hoping to improve my yoga and rock climbing skills and make a solid effort to live a more mindful/sustainable existence. I am an easy going person who likes their home to be clean, uncluttered and full of good vibes. My ideal housemates would be considerate and clean, and enjoy a chat, wine or a shared meal. I like to cook separately, but love sharing meals now and then. No specific dietary needs - I love ALL food! I have no furniture so would be thrilled if any happened to come along with a room. I am free to move in ASAP! :)
This house is frikkin' sweet! It's been completely modernised inside with a new kitchen and bathroom, central gas heating and aircon in the living areas. It's got a big back verandah to chill on and a huge rear garden with room to move and some big trees (which we love) The rear room is a 3m x 3.3m size and the middle room is 3m x 3m There are a lot of power points as with the whole house. It's fairly quiet and really comfortable. There's nice furniture and there's a lot of great kitchen appliances/utensils, because I love to cook. Also we have an attic! You can store stuff in the attic and it has one of those fold down roof hatches with a ladder so it's pretty easy to access, it does get dusty up there, so better to store your hard wearing stuff. We have Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) NBN which runs damn fast. The Coburg Hill shops are down the same street about 800 metres. There's Woolworths, Jetts Gym, A Fish and Chip shop, a couple of cafe's and a BWS liquor store. Edgars creek is right next to the house and is really quite nice to go down and soak up some nature.

This unique boutique penthouse top-floor apartment is guaranteed to impress with its enormous floorplan, 3 outdoor areas and long list of luxury inclusions. Bathed in natural light, the home's free-flowing design highlights 3 main bedrooms, stylish main bathroom and separate powder room, and vast open-plan living/dining area with polished concrete floors leading out an undercover north-facing terrace. Add to this a superb stone-top kitchen with ample cupboard space and finest appliances, ducted heating/refrigerated cooling, full-size laundry, two additional balconies, city views, plus lift access to entry foyer. Merlyn Street cafes, shopping village, Bain Reserve and Merlynston Station are all quite literally at your doorstep.
Hey! We're Clodagh and Issy (though she also goes by her surname Nadolny like a cool detective and I go by literally anything because my name is a mission for most people). We're two warm, easy going, happily quirky friends of old looking to create the finest sharehouse scroungeable from the best hard rubbish of the ritziest suburbs. And from gumtree, naturally. (We're not two broke girls, we just really enjoy a good treasure hunt) We love long walks on the beach, romantic candlelit house cook-ups, board game/movie nights, going out and exploring the many cultural and boozy hubs this glorious city has to offer, but also have a very healthy respect personal space and down time. A little bit about me; I work four days a week at Readings bookstore (inquire within for tasty discounts), and am a folksy musician (though very respectful of the quiet hours). In my free time you'll generally catch me practicing/writing/recording, bingewatching something probably by joss whedon, or catching up with a few close friends. I'm a huge animal lover, so any furry family members you might have are a huge plus, and I'm also vego, but anything but preachy. Issy (25) is the kindest, coolest person I know. Disarmingly sweet and super unpretentious, Issy is all sugar and spice and humble pie and questionable cooking and fluro pink raincoats. She's just had to drop her barrista job due to RSI, but will be picking up a job (likely in finance) asap. We both have years of sharehouse experience under our belts and find it super easy to get along with all walks of life as long as there's great communication, general kindness and reliability. Ideally we're looking for an open, spacious property within 10 km of the cbd to make a home, preferably with a bath, gas stove and garden. We're thinking we can afford around a max of $200 a week each, but less would be amazing! Let's meet up for a coffee/beer and see if we click? Otherwise, any questions, feel free to ask! :)
