I'm conscientious, neat and house-proud. I'm a keen gardener, love cooking (mostly vegetarian, but not strict about it.) Though social, I can be rather quiet. I'm more likely to be reading or listening to something on my headphones, than watching a blaring TV or partying late into the night. Not to say I don't enjoy a party from time to time. Non-drinker, non-smoker. I'm somewhat minimalist in my aesthetic, aside from my predilection for indoor plants. I am also interested in finding somewhere I can have an office/work space to share, as I work from home a few days a week.
Hi, I am a gentle and trustworthy person looking for a lovely home with beautiful nature surrounds. I wish to share with other respectful flatmates, who are independent yet welcoming. I enjoy studying, swimming, snorkelling, walking along the beach and taking photos of the sunrise. I love nature and am fascinated with marine life. I am fairly quiet and happy doing my own thing most of the time, and also want to live with others who I can enjoy sharing a home with and hopefully share some nice times together. I prefer to share with one or two long term tenants, and usually feel more comfortable with other females. I am hoping to travel for a few weeks in spring, so short term is fine however if I find the right place, I would love to stay long term. Thanks, Pip
It is time for us to welcome in a fabulous new housemate to share our beautiful home amongst the trees and near the ocean in Coledale, an hour or so South of Sydney. They will be a non-smoker or drug taker, not a heavy drinker and a clean, wholesome and generally awesome person. We both work as coaches/therapists so there is potential for a fellow practitioner to share our beautiful session studio for an additional fee and dependant on scheduling. It’s far enough away from the city to get ridiculous amounts of chill! But close enough for a commute. The train station is 10 mins walk away. We’d consider a couple if they were really awesome! The room is a comfortable double size room with lots of light, but is not huge. If you think you may be this fabulous person then please pm me and we’ll go from there. It really is heaven!
We are a pretty happy chilled couple who enjoy live music, the beach and getting out and enjoying our weekends either surfing, running or strolling through second hand stores and food markets. Looking to move down from Sydney to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle while Sarah completes her studies at UOW and Jack works full time. We are 26 & 27. We dig a neat and tidy place. Also keen on respecting one another’s space but won’t say no to a cheeky beer or wine on the weekend. Looking for like minded singles or couples around the same age. Flexible with moving date if an opportunity comes up. We have all furniture (fridge, dining table, washing machine, lounge, etc) so ideally hoping to team up so we can continue to use most of our furniture!
I am 40 years old, single, full-time employee with Fire & Rescue NSW, and a non-smoker. I love getting outdoors to go mountain biking, hiking, climbing, & surfing. I have a healthy lifestyle and I am clean, tidy and quiet. I try to travel as much as possible so I am rarely home on my days off. I am looking for a clean, bright & airy, and restful place where I can kickback after a busy day at work or after an exhausting weekend in the great outdoors. I like to socialise and live in a positive household but I also value my downtime. I have recently returned from a year travelling overseas, and currently staying with my parents. I am hoping to find a share house soon with like minded housemates in the northern suburbs of the Illawarra. I am flexible with move date. I can move earlier or later than my nominated date.
Hi! I'm Courtney, i'm a second year biology student, doing most of my study from home. I'm clean, quiet, respectful of others and easy to get along with. I'm vegan, I do yoga, I don't have any pets but am happy to live with them if you have one (or more). I drink, but not often and I don't smoke. I'm looking for people that I can actually get along with, that will be friends as well as flatmates. I'm wanting to either move into an existing place or to find someone to team up with. :)
I am a writer and comedian who spends a lot of time in Sydney and on the road so when I am home I like to keep things pretty relaxed with good food and spending a lot of time outdoors. I am pretty clean and quiet when I am around home but I do keep quite late hours. If you have a room going among other artists and oddballs then please feel free to get in touch. Cheers, Matty
I'm originally from London but have been living here for a few years mainly in Sydney and Wollongong. I'm sociable but love having my own space so super respectful of that with other people; and I love contributing to make a home as chilled, clean and comfortable as possible. I am moving back to Wollongong after some time on the Gold Coast where I have been working for the Commonwealth Games Association. I work in event production, typically for the sport and wellness industry, and I have my own company as well so that keeps me busy. I typically spend time at the gym, yoga or beach to take a break from work and catch up with friends. Pretty simple stuff, but I think it makes me quite easy to live with :))
I’m an artist and writer, as well as a part time carer for people living with disabilities. I love the ocean, great coffee, books, art, nature, creativity, music, good food and wine. I enjoy interesting conversations but I also love my own space and will always be respectful of yours. I’m looking forward to returning to the great love of my life: the Sea of the South Coast.
The home is a townhouse within a safe and respectful community complex. It is set in a cul-de-sac yet minutes to Thirroul beach, shops, buses and train station. The home is styled as a zen and serene ambience. The room is a cosy space. The room is furnished with a king single bed, wardrobe, BIR, side drawers, the window opens to a stunning escarpment view. Living with female homeowner and small dog, the home would suit a older and mature female who is gainfully employed and seeks a quiet lifestyle. Clean, neat and tidy is a must-attribute. Respect of each other and space is important. No late night or party animals or TV addicts. Not available to males, couples or children, smokers or substance users.
Amazing sun drenched ENTIRE 2 bedroom apartment for $410/week, located right in the heart of the coastal suburb of Thirroul. A short 200m walk will see you on the sands of Thirroul Beach. The apartment is fully furnished, currently set up with the larger room as the bedroom and the second room as a study. We are ultimately looking for a couple as the house is set up to suit this arrangement. The apartment has amazing ocean and escarpment views, making this a prime spot to adjust to the South Coast lifestyle. Public transport is available with a bus stop located 50m from the door step and the train station a 10 minute walk away. Direct trains to Sydney depart Thirroul Train Station every hour and only take about 1 hour 10 minutes to arrive at Sydney's Central Station or the airport. Close proximity to cafes, bars and restaurants. Located directly across the road from the lovely cafe 'Bread, Espresso &', lively bar 'Jose Jones' and seafood restaurant 'South Sailor'. 5 minute walk to IGA and Coles as well as chemists, doctor's surgeries, Anita's Theatre, post office, Crust Pizza, Thai restaurants, health food stores, surf shop, beautiful boutiques and much more! You will experience gorgeous sunrises over the ocean every morning from the bedroom windows and awesome sunsets from the balcony. My partner and I are heading overseas for three months, so the entire apartment will be yours. You will be able to stay longer than the three months if necessary as we can stay with relatives upon return to Australia.
Opposite the Beach with an un obstructed view of the ocean. Sunny in both bedrooms and morning sun pours into sunroom. Will put more shots up this week once we have our furniture (furniture pictured taken from web). Location shots show actual view from house :-)
Short stroll to Thirroul Olympic pool, beach, restaurants, shops, theatre, pub, train station etc. Large sunny unit with great views, private balcony, ensuite, walkin-rob, storage cupboards etc. planned 3rd bedroom for shared use as study or guests.
Great place - really keen to go halves with someone who likes to be walking distance to the beach, train station shops and cafes. Internet and bills are included in rent. Own room, access to plenty of storage, outdoor/upstairs deck, courtyard with barbecue.
I'm 28 years old, am studying CompSci full time at UOW and also work part time in the software industry (from home). I'm really laid back, super clean (Balkan upbringing haha) and come with one feline, so ideal place would be fur baby friendly but she can also stay with mum and dad so not a deal breaker. I'd love to be part of a social and friendly household but also understand the need for privacy, keeping to oneself and respecting others sleep schedules etc. In my free time I am an avid reader, watcher of all the same shows you love, try to craft and sew very incompetently from time to time and love to go out, explore and try new things! Looking to move July but dates are flexible.
HEY HEY!!! well, I'm looking for a share house or area of my own!!! A little about me, I have recently gotten back form 5 months away in Asia and 5 months in Melbourne!! I travel every 6-12 months so I have many stories to share! I like to cook vegetarian/vegan dishes and get other people to try my creations! I love animals- so if you have a pet I can always help walk and look after! I work part time driving trucks and not full-time because in my 3 days I do those full-time hours sometimes a little less sometimes even more! I enjoy writing, guitar, singing, yoga, exercise and going for a beer at the pub! I like going out to watch live music events- but no I'm not looking for a party house! I am bi sexual so you would have to be LGBT friendly! Im a bit of a tomboy (a lot) haha so I'm easy with both genders around the house! Im going to be studying spanish also so I will be quite busy doing my own thing and I just got a surfboard so I plan to start learning to surf!!! I can provide some solid entertainment and laughs I guarantee that, but y'all must be familiar with a little sarcasm ;) anyway, I hope to hear form you all!
I am neat, tidy, and organized. I am generally independent; I can cook my own meals etc. I'm not particularly sociable, but I am polite, kind, friendly, and easy to get along with. I can be (and do like to be) helpful; I have lots of useful skills. I am quite, sensitive, and considerate. My interests include: science, art, gardening, and music. I like to study all kinds of different things. I used to study science at UOW, but I'm not doing that any more for a number of reasons. I have been working on visual art, and have had an exhibition on recently.
My names Jemma! Turn 21 at the end of August. I am currently working full time, but on the 1st of August I fly to South America to teach english in Peru. I don't know when I am returning home, however I am hoping to be starting Study in social work at UOW. I would love to find a place for when I return home, somewhere In Wollongong. I am super excited for my next adventure in Travel and Study. This will be my first time moving out of home, however I have travelled solo for 6 months and I am doing it again for hopefully another 6 months. So I like to think that I can keep myself alive, and be a respectful room mate (and be fun). So if you think i might suit, let me know!!!
The house is located about 5 mins to Thirroul train station and just a stroll down to McCauley's beach. The house is fully furnished although we may be able to accomodate extra furniture if required. The room available is an unfurnished loft bedroom. We have a shared back yard and veggie garden with some herbs and room to plant some more veggies. Green thumbs welcome! The rent includes unlimited wifi. Electricity and gas are additional. Bond is $500 and is registered with the rental bond board.
Beautiful coastal home within a few minutes walk to Thirroul shops and restaurants. The two storey house has been recently renovated and split into two separate areas. The upstairs is a self contained two bedroom level with kitchen, living room, study, kitchen/dining, walk in pantry and bathroom with separate toilet.
Nice and clean. Quiet but would occasionally like to catch up. Professional working as a Software Developer.
