Im Oliver from Malaysia. Im a student studying in RMIT, I would like to rent a private room. I love to binge watch Netflix and workout during my free time, pretty chilled and very accommodating person since I've lived with different people before. During weekends, I mostly stay in, workout or hangout with mates and clubbing once in a while ( Im not really a big party animal). Deffo will take the initiative to clean up the place and respect people's privacy ( I mean it is a basic rule living with someone right? ) just set the boundaries and we are good to go. I intend to stay for 1-2 years and I have no problems with bills and rents, in fact I pay on time. Im friendly, extra and crazy ( if you know me well ), like to drink especially whiskey, a big foodie ( A big fan of brunch, desserts ), listens to different genres of music eg: Jazz, Pop, Indie Pop. I've lived with professionals in the past like Chefs and Hair dressers and we became best friends so I don't think I have problems living with professionals. I just put 13 of Jan as for moving date just for the profile as it is negotiable and i'm flexible with the moving in dates, as long as I move in before 27th of Jan cause im going back to Malaysia for a short holiday. Don't worry, I'll still pay the rent. Cant wait to meet my future flatmate and a comfortable place for the next 1-2 years.
I'm Chelsea! I'm 22 years old and manage a cocktail bar in the CBD. I like to keep nice and tidy and love to kick back with a wine at the end of the day. Being able to get along with and spend time with my flatmate(s) is important to me, but I also value my alone time.
Hi Guys, I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in the new year to finish my university degree and further my career. I'm an elite hockey player, study full time finance, and work part-time, and love music, surfing and a good coffee. I have lived in a sharehouses since I finished high school, including a 12 month stint living in Belgium, and am a respectful, cooperative and fun housemate :)
I’m 26, working full time in hospitality in Richmond and have just moved back to Melbourne. I’m dying to get out of hostel life and would love to stay north side, clearly the superior part of Melbourne. I’m super laid back, fully housetrained and love a chilled night in watching terribly trashy films. I can appreciate everyone’s personal space but also love a social house with housemates that can have a drink together occasionally. I can even make the drinks, (heaps of bartending experience behind me)
I'm a female Canadian that is looking for accommodation within Melbourne. I have spent the last four months living in Byron Bay, but now I'm looking for a faster lifestyle. I'm a very respectful, kind, laid back, and tidy person. My home environment is very important to me as I like to find a place that is homey and clean. I currently work in the hospitality industry, where I'll be looking for a job in a cafe well in Melbourne. I'm generally quite an active person who loves to be outdoors. As well I'm very passionate about food - eating out and cooking. I'm looking for a friendly, interactive, non-party but social home with housemates who wouldn't mind enjoying dinner or hangout occasionally. But enjoy their own space as well.
I'm a recent design graduate working part-time in the city who is easygoing and sociable. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to live, with people that'll share a meal and have a good chat with me but respect my privacy when needed. I enjoy painting, drawing, reading and playing guitar (though I'm not very good).
Hi there, I'm Tania! I'm a pretty fun, sociable and adventurous danish girl - if I have to say so myself #SassyGirlBouncingHerHairEmoji. I'm 31 y/o - buuut, I still have the energy and spontaneousness as if I were in my 20s, combined with the respectfulness, great insights and meaningful conversations of an adult-ish 30 year old. I've been in Aus for 2 years now (1,5 years in Melbourne) and I work full time for KPMG in the CBD. Before moving to Australia I finished my masters in Digital Design and Communication from the IT University of Copenhagen, but wondered off to backpack Australia as soon as I graduated. I love love love to travel and gather new insights and experiences, being outdoors: camping, hiking etc, bake yummy treats, share dad jokes, have a cozy night in with wine and boardgames and simply to go out and explore the city whenever I can. And I definitely don't mind a good bar crawl and explore new and exiting places. I would consider myself as reliable, thoughtful and respectful - and will take great care of the place. I've been living in shared flats the last two years, so I am very considerate of my flatmates while also being tidy and pretty easy to get along with. That's about it. If ya think it could be a good fit feel free to message me :)

Hi, we are a couple from Spain, we are both architects. Nadia has a student visa for one year and I am working as a freelance for several architects and builders. We are very easy-going people, very friendly and very focused on our work. We don't like to party much, we love animals, and we practice sports such as CrossFit, soccer, surf.

Working full time as a software developer / team manager for a company in fitzroy with a very diverse team and looking to live closer to work and the city. I consider myself a quiet and considerate person, and I'm tolerant of other people and their differences. Since I work full time, I need housemates that are not loud late at night (past 12am) on weekdays. I enjoy media of all kinds, both good and bad, so happy to hang out on Fridays after work and watch a movie or something with a beer (or many if particularly bad). I would prefer starting as a trial for a week or two where possible (paid of course) to get to know other housemates before staying with them long term.
I've just got back to Melbourne after a year-and-a-half stint living in China. I'm looking for work in Melb atm so should be working Mon-Fri by the time i'm looking to move in somewhere (end of Dec, start of Jan). I am pretty low key during the week. I'll generally cook my own dinner/lunch and either mill about the local area or stay in and enjoy some combination of books/tv/red wine. I have a couple of weeknight hobbies which would have me in and out of the house on various nights too. On weekends I commit to some variation of drinking (coffee/beer), reading (books/news), and watching (football/live music).
I am an environmental engineer and I work full time at Melbourne Uni as a researcher (not a student). In my spare time I do aerials at NICA, enjoy social dancing, read or catch up with friends. At summer I become more active and spend more time outside going to the beach, hiking, on road trips etc. I am flexible about the amount of interaction with housemates. I am happy to hang out and have a chat and a laugh, but I also have my own group of friends and generally I am quite independent. I can mix cocktails but somehow enjoy mixing them more than drinking.
A bit about me - I’m your run of the mill firecracker 😛 I’m in my mid 20’s, work in advertising but I’m hopeless at promoting myself. My passions lie in arts, music, food and bevies! I’m always keen to share and exchange awesome music. I’m super chill but can also get a party started if need be. I love making new friends and listening to stories about various cultures, quirks and I recently turned vegetarian so love cooking up random amazing dishes. Saying that, I’m cool with everyone else’s food preference 🙂 Been living in sharehouses for a while so I come house trained. I clean up after myself and respect people’s personal spaces. While I work 9-5 during the week, i tend to either hang out at home on the weekends binging on Netflix or hanging out with friends at various bars around Melbourne. Love animals but sadly don’t have any pets of my own. If any of you have a pet, I’m more than prepared to be it’s best friend!! LGBTIQ friendly and very respectful of all cultures. So- let’s meet up if you’re keen. Have a bit of chat and see if we could be a good match
Hi there! My name is James and I work as an architectural draftsperson within the education sector for a company called Fleetwood. I am 25 years old and moved to Melbourne almost 2 years ago from Western Australia. I would consider myself to be a very friendly and funny person. I am a bit of an introvert however and enjoy my own space. This usually revolves around playing computer games or watching netflix, so I guess I'm a bit of a nerd! I also enjoy camping and other outdoor activities from time to time to get away from the city life and relax! I am very neat and tidy, probably to the point of being a little bit OCD, I also don't own alot of things so I guess you could say I'm a bit of a minimalist. I'm also looking to study architecture next year full time, which will mean ill be dropping down to part time work. Lastly I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people and starting this new chapter of my life, hope to hear from you all soon!
Hi, Leah here, I am the girl in the middle of my profile photo. I'm a cool chick. I'm young and single and enjoy that as a rite of passage. First and foremost I think it’s important and transparent to state that I am currently living in Perth and have committed to moving to Melbourne come January. Nothing has gone wrong here in Perth. In fact it’s been a swimmingly good time, now is the appropriate time to broaden my horizons and push out of my comfort zones. I have lived out of home for the past 8 years so I am well versed in share home living experience. I really want to move into a bomb share house, figuratively that is. A nice home, with people who really respect quiet time at those appropriate hours of the day but are up to getting distracted at breakfast time because the energy is high and the banter follows suit. In saying that, I understand that there is a buffering period where we move around each other somewhat silently analysing each movement and figuring out the quirks of the new housemate. I respect this dance. "Whats great about living with me"; I'm very neat and tidy and I function in a better state when there is little clutter around. Coming home to other peoples baggage in the common area is a frustrating prospect, emotional baggage included. All the people I have lived with have told me that I bring a strong homely vibe to the house, thus, creating a home. I've even had them sweetly say that when I left, their house has never been close to "Leah clean" again. I am a nurturer at heart, I have mainly lived with men and it's been a great joy to see how the other breed of human functions. I've actually always taken care of the financial aspect of renting so I guess I never actually had the opportunity to not pay rent and bills on time. Now for some maths Cleanliness + reasonableness + communication - passive aggressiveness / going the extra mile-ness = mature housemates. Also, the limit does not exist. If you get that reference then we are ready to kumbaya my lord. If you hate people referencing pop culture/movies/vines we have lost an opportunity to see eye to eye straight off of the bat, but I’m not all about that. Truely, I am a thoughtful individual who can see the pitfalls of communicating to each other through vines. I practice yoga around 4-5x a week. I am also a teacher and have been teaching privately and publicly for over a year, this (other then my family) will be the toughest thing for me to depart with, however, I am confident Melbourne will provide the goods when it comes to yoga opportunities. Hokai, so I suggest if you like the sound of me and think we will be a fit, contact me, we will chat over Skype or FaceTime if you’re an iPhone owner. It will be be helpful to get a gauge of each other and then we can discuss the more nitty gritty things, move in dates, leasing agreements, proof of identity etcetera etcetera. Also, just so nobody is screwing each other around please mention what type of kettle you have so that I know you have actually read of the important stuff. Bonus facts below: If I turn my head and look over to my mini bookshelf I can currently see these books (I have GREAT eyesight, I’m oddly proud of this considering it is outside of my control): Freedom in the Making of Western Culture Letting Go Clarity Captivating 12 Rules for Life Roald Dahl Treasury Yin Yoga The Tree of Yoga The Bible Anatomy of Stretching My most listened to podcasts are: The Joe Rogan Experience Waking Up with Sam Harris The Tim Ferriss Show Skeptic Tank with Ari Shafir Favourite youtube channels: Killtony David Dobrik Jenna Marbles Dolan Twins Emma Chamberlain H3H3 Cody Ko Daily Dose of Internet
Hi, My name is Karli and I am a 23 yr old creative moving to Melbourne in January 2019. I currently work full time in a Wollongong studio and printery as a graphic designer as well as a freelance designer and illustrator and a fitness instructor at a local aerials studio (yeah, I'm a very busy person atm! haha). I will be continuing to work remotely in my current position as graphic designer until March so being able to work from home is a must! I am a pretty chilled out human - I like movies, making new friends, napping (a lot!) and getting creative. I can be very social but love my own space too. I spend some weekends going on adventures with my boyfriend and some curled up watching Netflix. Also, if you are someone I can get excited for the new Game of Thrones series with, we will get along really well! I am tidy, and have an extensive experience living in shared accommodation (6 years in boarding school, 2 years in uni college accommodation, & 2 years in houseshare). I would prefer somewhere that is furnished and has off-street parking so I don't have to worry about my vehicle's security or transporting furniture interstate. Also, unfortunately I am allergic to cats so anywhere that has an indoor feline I will not be able to apply for :( If you think we will get along well in the same house, message me!
Hello. I'm an Aussie guy looking for a place with nice people. I'm an ambo for the royal flying doctors and absolutely love my job. I don't do any flying though, i'm part of the road ambulance division. I've lived in fitzroy for 4 years and absolutely love the area and hope to stay while i save up.
International couple from Finland and Czech Republic. Looking forward to meeting new people and learning about cultures. Clean & responsible, working from 9-17 on weekdays.
We are a happy, outgoing couple who loves adventure and the outdoors. We both love the beach and Eli competes in Surf Boat Rowing. Erin has just returned from a 1 year backpacking trip around mostly Europe where Eli visited twice. We both love to eat, cook, or go out for a weekend coffee together or with friends. We have both grown up in a rural area so moving to the city is as exciting as it is nerve raking for us both. Eli is an apprentice mechanic and Erin works in hospitality.
I’m 26 Italian girl. I’m a wonderful Italian cocker (have you ever heard about lasagna?) and I like to have a clean house. I’m friendly and sociable. I love to meet new people and to do something with them! I’m looking forward to share a house with other guys full of life like me! Thank you
