I am a very tidy and organized person. I'm super easy to get along with, generally quiet and enjoy my personal space but I do enjoy socializing and great conversations. I hoping to find some relaxed living enviroment and friendly flatmates. In my spare time I am an avid reader and fitness enthusiast.
Hey, I'm Ashley and I'm 23 years old, I work full time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm for an insurance company in Southbank. I am originally from the Gold Coast, been living in Melbourne for the past 9 months. I am looking for a sublet or something minimum 3 months. On my weekends I love exploring new places around Melbourne and having a few casual drinks. I am looking for some down to earth, open minded roommates who I can share a drink and chat with at the end of the day. Talk soon!
Hello, I'm an Interior designer (with some creative projects on the side). I'm interested in many things and curious about everything, but mostly my time is focused on design, some music and reading, and exploring new places. I'm very open minded / easy going and easy to live with, and I respect shared space. But I also want to live in a clean house where everyone contributes. I'm looking for a share house with 3-4 other people, similar age and preferably mixed genders - I'd love an active house where we engage and spend time together and can have a laugh, whilst still having personal space / time too. A parking space or permit would also be ideal :) Look forward to meeting you!
I'm an easygoing, second year Melbourne uni student studying Bachelor of Science with Pre-med. I have moved around a lot. I used to live in Australia, moved to the US during high school, and moved back here for uni. I love working out, swimming and being outdoors in general. I spend a lot of time studying but like to go out once or twice a week. I'm fairly neat and like to cook a little.
Hi I'm Jade, I'm 25 from New Zealand. I previously lived in Melbourne for a couple of years before moving to London for just over two years. I have now returned to NZ and am ready to get back into Melbourne life! I will be back in Melb on September 27th. I work in hospitality, usually cafes, so my hours aren't too crazy. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, try out new bars and restaurants, see what events are on in the city or just chill at home. I'm a very easy going person who loves a clean house and respectful housemates. During my time in London I ended up living with over 20 different housemates so I'm very understanding of others and can get on with pretty much anyone!
We are Conor and Tanja, 28, from Scotland, and we are coming to live in Melbourne as of 15 October. Conor is a qualified accountant and I work in the third sector. We are quite outdoorsy and like to spend spare time, evenings and weekends going on trips, exploring new places, being out and about in general!
I'm a "can't-quite-believe-I'm-30" 31 year old, seasoned share house veteran of inner city Melbs. I'm well travelled having lived in both the U.K. & U.S. over the years. Currently full time tennis coaching, I love my sports, live music, cooking and eating, coffee and enjoy a few beers on the weekends.
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
Hello I'm Stefani, a creative mind filled with wonder and excitement, I look for adventure and enjoy meeting new people. Well ladies and gents I am light hearted and relaxed in nature, there will always be laughter and friendship. I do love to cook as food excites me. I am a respectful and thoughtful person. I love to go out and explore, attended festivals, night markets, try great food, honestly anything. I work in the buying field within the Richmond area, I attend the gym after work hours, have started pole dance and dabble in Samba dance. I'm generally out and about unless having a night in binge watching shows (PICKLE RICK!!!) with Cheetos. Have recently gotten into watching rugby, will go to the theatre, cocktail bars & dance floors are my friends haha and honestly I will always be up for a night out or burgers on a hangover day. I am hoping to come across a person or persons that I can share dinners, drinks and laughter with as I do not want to live in a place where we stick to only our rooms and barely know one another. I come with a couch, dining table & chairs, fridge, washing machine, TV cabinet, and a couple other items to decorate the place.
Mainly, two people looking for a house to live in and get to know the people we'll be living with! Both of us have our own lives, but it's nice to have people who want to chill out in the evening and watch a film or cook fajitas and grab a drink on the weekends. Not looking for a party house, or a silent house, somewhere in the middle would be nice! :) Both of us are clean and tidy, and respect people's space and privacy. We are both from the UK, and work 9-5 so won't be around in the day, but like to make sure we do something in the evenings or have busy weekends of adventures. Drop me a message if you wanna know more, and we can arrange a time to meet and discuss houses :)
Hi! My name is Ilya, I am 24 years old. I am originally from Miami but I have lived In New York and Los Angeles. The last year and a half I have been living in Thailand, working as a teacher, and traveling. Upon quitting my job I then went traveling. After 3 months of the backpacking/pirate life I have moved to Melbourne. I am here to have a good time and save money. But most importantly I am trying to get back into the arts, (I used to work in film and act in Los Angeles). I plan on staying in Melbourne for the foreseeable future too so Im really trying to build a life here. Furthermore, I am working on a book that I will try to sell around February (if you're nice to me ill let you read it). As for me, I love to read, write, and take aimless walks. I also enjoy the healing power of strong drink. I arrived in Melbourne 2 days ago and I'm using this week to explore the city, find work and find a good permanent place.
We are both graduates from Bournemouth University in the UK. Since uni we have worked full time to save enough money to travel the world, so far hitting India, Nepal, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Jack works as a head barista/restaurant manager and Becca in Advertising. We have shared houses and flats all through universities as well as hostels since being away. We are clean, organised, friendly and fun. Hope to meet you soon!
Born and raised in Melbourne. I work in hospitality full time as well as a project manager for a start-up agricultural business. I love cooking and I'm always creating crazy concoctions and love cooking for others. I'm really clean, mainly because I don't create a mess in the first place. I repeat, clean... not sterile. I do have a washing machine, HEAPS of cooking equipment, small couch and a lot of plants
Greetings future flat mate(s), My name is Carla, 37, female, LGBTQI friendly and YES! voter, professional, non-smoker. I recently got a job at the Melbourne Museum and am looking for a living space around that area. I've lived San Francisco and Oakland, California for over 13 years, living with flatmates, so I know what it takes to make a happy and functional living environment. I've traveled to many countries and am excited to explore what Melbourne has to offer. I enjoy art galleries and museums (of course), good coffee, music, yoga, anything arts related, oh and I love to cook. I make a great flatmate because I'm low key, clean, easy going and friendly. I'm looking to share with other working professional(s) who are busy with there own lives. That being said, going for drinks/ coffee every once in a while would also be cool. I love cats and dogs, so if you have fur baby, I'm down for that.
Hey I'm James, I am a 25 year old male who is looking for a place for myself and my dog Zelda (She is a medium sized dog so we will need a backyard of some sort for her to run around in) As for myself I am currently working in hospitality and plan on studying next year. I like to keep to myself but also don't mind the odd Netflix and pizza sesh with my housemates. I usually spend my spare time at the gym, walking Zelda or just out and about with friends. I have lived share houses before so I understand how they work, I am very respectful of other peoples privacy. If you think you have a place for us we'd love to hear from you :)
I am a registered nurse but also work for Mecca Maxima in the city. I am a Tassie girl but moved to Melbourne in Feb and am loving it. I am specifically looking for a house that has a community feel as moving from Tassie I haven't got many friends in Melbs yet so would love to have a good bunch of mates. I am respectful, clean and enjoy my own space as well. I am always on time for paying bills and respect others privacy. I also have some great banter!
Hi my name is Simon and I'm looking for accommodation for 2 months at this stage with the potential of turning into something more permanent. I'm easy going, like being social and keeping fit. I work full time, and am well house trained. I like to cook, eat, and try new things. I love love having a beer and a chat, and am considerate of others. Not much surprises me and I am accepting of ,and interested in most points of views. My main source of enjoyment is design, art, landscapes and trees.
Hi there, My name is Mitch, I am 22 and just made the move to Melbourne from Brisbane for work. I work full time in the city in a job I really enjoy. I am not a big partier but do enjoy having a drink on the weekends and the occasional night out, especially now that I live in Melbourne. During the week I like to keep it pretty low key with maybe the occasional dinner out or house dinner with everyone I live with. I have lived in a share house before so I definitely understand the importance of paying rent and bills on time, as well as being open, honest and approachable. Privacy is also always important and is something I always give my house mates, and something I expect in return as well. My interests range from traveling, socialising, watching Netflix/documentaries all the way to listening to peoples stories and life experiences. I am looking for some cool people to live with within Melbourne City or the surrounding inner city suburbs. As I sold almost everything I own in order to move, I am looking for a furnished room. Send me a message if you think I would be a good fit to your home :)
I work in Media, and enjoy going out with friends as well as my quiet time. I play Futsal on Sunday's, and enjoy baking desserts - there's always plenty of leftovers to share. I also love to binge-watch television shows and movies so my TV and film knowledge will come in handy if you're looking for another team member at pub trivia.
