Full-time worker and student, down-to-earth, friendly, easy to get along with and sociable, pretty flexible in most regards. Back in Melbourne after living and travelling overseas the last few years and looking to settle for a while, very clean and reliable on rent and bills.
I’m friendly and I mind my own business. I work full-time and I’m mostly out during the weekends.
Recently moved from Canberra to Melbourne. Easy going, reasonably tidy, looking for somewhere to live for the next 6+ months and to meet some new people. I'm a bit quiet, but I don't mind having a chat or hanging out. I enjoy listening to music, a good meal, a bit of movies and TV. Don't have any pets, but I don't mind them at all. I probably go for a jog about as often as I have a pizza (Unsure what that says about me). I'm working full-time in IT in East Melbourne.
I came to Melbourne to study English, I plan to stay two years or more. I'm well organized and I like to keep everything clean, I'm not fluent in English, but I try don't to break any rules.I'm not a smoker.
Hi I’m chelsea, a 20 year old paramedic student that will be studying full time and working part time. Looking for a share house to join that is more like family that enjoy dinners and tv together! I love to socialise and chat but like everyone I like having some down time! I spend a fair bit of time exercising as well! Always up for a bit of a party on weekends or a quiet drink during the week. Enjoy cleaning and cooking in my spare time and love being organised while still having fun. Not afraid of a netflix binge.
Hello, I'm Freya, 26 years. I'm a Chartered Accountant and just moved to Melbourne on a 3 month secondment from my firm in the UK. I work full time during the week so like to combine exercise and relaxing in the evenings. On weekends, I'm looking forward to exploring the city and surrounding areas and socialising.
Hi! I'm a happy, outgoing 23 y/o Danish girl, looking for a place in Melbourne to call home from NOW until the end of November, as I'm going to be an exchange student at UniMelb, Parkville! So preferably a place close to either uni or CBD (or both!) I have currently lived with 60 American students, so I am Very house trained ;) - I know how to live with other people and I know how important it is to keep things clean and tidy. I also love being sociable; having movie nights, brunching (apparently, that's a verb now), having a cup of coffee, going out for a couple of beer, throwing a great barbie, or just hanging out - you name it, I'm down. That said, I'm also a big fan of personal time and respect that everyone need their privacy (myself included). Aside from that, I love food - It makes me happy ;) I cook and bake a lot (if you haven't tasted Danish sourdough ryebread now is your chance! And I make exceptionally good pancakes 🥞). I go on the occasional run - mostly to burn some of all the calories from the food - and I walk or bike everywhere if possible. And I love plants! I also adore animals (all kinds!), so if you pooch or cat is in need of belly rubs, I'll happily volunteer! I think it's really hard to describe myself. But I'm GREAT! I Promise! Really! So basically, I can cook and bake, and teach you naughty words in a language that only a few million people in the world will understand - preferably not at the same time, but hey, I'm flexible!
Hi! I am Elisa. A 29 yo dietitian female from Argentina who has living and working in Sydney for the last 2 years. Recently I decided to move to Melbourne because of my studies. I'm a CLEAN, respectful, quiet and reliable person. I'm friendly but I know what is respect others space. I'm looking for a place where I can call home, not a party house. No smoke I enjoy swimming, zumba and ciclying. Pet-friendly :)
Hi there! I am Mauriz (24) and i am a german exchange student at RMIT studying Electrical Engineering. I am looking for a privateroom for about 3-4 months (until early/mid november). I am looking for a sociable flat share, idealy in riding distance to RMIT city campus. I enjoy bouldering, hiking and skiing (as i am a skiing instructor :D). So i would be very happy if you like to join me in that. If there is some spare time I like cooking and spending time with friends over a glass of beer or wine. As a room mate i am very easy going but you should be aware of my bad jokes :D.
Hello! My name is Chase and I'm an exchange student from America who will be studying at RMIT. This will be my first time to Australia, so I'm interested in making a lot of friends and exploring the city. I'm an art student and enjoy entertainment like shows and video games, so oftentimes I'm not a very loud housemate. However, I do also love the ocean and outdoor activities, so I'd be up for that kind of stuff as well if you want to become friends. Sometimes I can stay up pretty late. I enjoy my personal space, but I also like being around people. (Although I'm not exactly great at small talk.) I prefer open minded, friendly people. No smoking or drug use is a requirement. Drinking is fine but I probably won't drink, myself. I'd prefer my own room because I'll probably voice chat my friends and family. I can be pretty flexible and easygoing.
25, work fulltime in the city, good with paying bills on time and I’m very clean. Have a car so will need on street parking. Easy going and always up for a chat! Looking for something in the Richmond/Carlton/Fitzroy areas preferably :)
Hello future housemates! I am looking for a new place to call home in the inner north or Melbourne. I am currently balancing the work/study life, working as a barista and completing a BA at Latrobe majoring in sustainability and development. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with gluten free recipes to make being a coeliac more exciting, but I also enjoy baking and decorating elaborate cakes for birthdays and celebrations. I have a growing collection of plants that I try to keep alive and could contribute to a house. Overall, I am looking for a clean, considerate and friendly place to call home.
I am looking for a friendly share house around Northcote/Clifton Hill/Fitzroy North area. I am currently working full time as an Occupational Therapist in aged care, with a new full time job starting in the disability sector at the beginning of September. I enjoy being active and healthy, going to the gym, yoga, indoor soccer and for runs. I also enjoy going for overnight hikes when I have the time or out for a drink and a dance with my friends on the weekend. I like socialising with my housemates and cooking meals together every now and again. I am vegetarian, so living in a vegetarian/vegan house would be a plus, but not a must.
Hi My names Alannah, I’m moving back to Melbourne after living in Broome for 4 months. I’m clean, funny and can cook good great vego food! I normally work shift work so I respect noice restrictions. I do enjoy a good night out but I’m also content with my corny 90s tv shows. 420 friendly house hold would be lovely. I’m looking to living with people in their 20s.
I’m Dana. I’m originally from Tasmania but relocated to Melbourne in June last year. I’m currently studying Fine Arts; specialising in video/sound. Most days you’ll find me in the studio at RMIT and when I’m home, outside with a cup of tea! I have a little Netherland Dwarf rabbit; his name is Tiny. You won’t hear a peep out of him, most days he enjoys chilling in his big cage or having a run around my room. He may enjoy sitting on your shoulder when you’re being a couch potato. I enjoy cooking up a storm in the kitchen and cooking with my housemates occasionally if that's your jam. I’m currently living in a sharehouse, so I know how these things go. I’m more than happy to socialise with everyone and give space as well! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Hellooooo, I am once again looking for a place to hang my hat and let me tell you, it's kinda hard. It's hard to find a place that ticks all of your boxes and when you do you have to tick all of their boxes. It's discouraging, because you think "I'm a person with qualities that are probably desirable to someone", I mean my mum would vouch for me and even maybe my housemates (actually my housemates would probably only say nice things, we're only all splitting up because we need to move to different parts of the city :( ) Annnnnywayyyyyy hopefully maybe I'm exactly what you're looking for (fingers crossed). I work part time at woolworths (Really cheap discounted food in the staff store, I once got pasta for 30 cents), I study full time at monash, I'm looking for a permanent place to stay, I like watching sad animal videos that end happy, I want to live in a place that is welcoming and where we're all friends and get along and do things together sometimes, I like going to see live music and I wish I did it more, I like to bake things which I am happy to share, I'm a vego, love love love savers, I also like procrastinating by writing long lists of things DIY tasks which I will never probably do and I love using brackets. But....... there are also some things that could be considered downsides if you choose to look at them that way. I have a very sweet cat who currently lives in Brisbane. I know what you're probably thinking "damn she was so perfect, maybe she will leave the cat". I will not leave my cat, I have been without her for 6 months and it has been horrible. I'm a responsible owner, I will clean kitty litter, she doesn't kill things etc but I am also happy to share her love with you The other thing I am shamefully embarrassed about is that I am originally from Brisbane. I've been down here for 8 months so I've gotten use to the Melbourne way of life and no, not all of us support Pauline Hanson. To end on a high note, I own a cute dining table set, I have a piggy silicon spatula and a glass punch bowl set (from savers). So hit me up if you think I might be a good fit, hopefully I've fully expressed my vibes.
Hi, my name is Tahlie, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently living in my own unit on the far south coast of NSW. I will be moving to Melbourne at the start of august/end of July to study! I am looking to move into a share-house with people around the same age as me! I am extremely clean and tidy and like to have my own space as well as to socialise. I am excited to move into a share-house and meet new people and start my life in Melbourne! :)
I’m on a working holiday from America and would love to find a place to settle down and meet people!
Hi there! We're a couple, one French, one Japanese. We both speak English fluently, but you will hear us speaking other languages at home! We're both quiet, friendly, and very reliable people. One of us is working full-time, the other is working from home at the moment. We are looking for a place to move in around mid-August, for three months to start, while we figure some visa details. We both love pets (so if you have one, it is not an issue at all), and both cook (one of us is a chef). One of us smokes occasionally, but will do so outside of the house/flat/place.
Hey there future flatmates! I’m a business consultant of Californian extraction who recently transferred to Melbourne for work and the next big adventure (5th continent so far). Looking for a furnished room thats available for up to a year. Partial to the outdoors, biking, exploration, botanical misadventures, calligraphy, and occasionally cooking (no master chef, but can do some damage in the hummus department). A relaxed dude--tend to stay active but enjoy a good chat and treating others well.
Hey! I'm from England moving out to Australia for a year abroad studying at Monash University (classic civ+archaeology!). I'm looking to hopefully fall in with a share house of other students about my age who are friendly and up for a laugh too. I'm an optimistic and chatty person who loves to meet new folks - very extroverted so living abroad with new people always sounded just grand :) I'm very into music and gigs (favourite happens to actually be Gang Of Youths from Sydney, despite practically no one else in the UK knowing them haha), and work with my unis student radio too as I'm quite passionate for that sort of thing! Baseball's always a fun one, and also dabble a fair bit in photography and stuff. Love hearing about what people are fascinated with, so if you're a people person then I'm sure we'll get on just great xx
