While it’s safe to say it’s certainly not the most beautiful house, it’s big and damn comfy, in amazing condition decked out with everything you need and want - a delightful courtyard, excellent housemates, and to top it off in a saweet location. Coupla quick ones on the bedroom and house: • ‘uuuge (3.0x5.2) room with insane sunshine pouring in all day, err day (unless you close the blinds...) • while no BIR in the room, you’ll have the massive cupboard right outside the bedroom which has two big shelves, plenty of hanging room and floor space. However, room is so big there’s room for drawers etc if you’d prefer. • upstairs main bathroom is yours to share with James, it’s big, bright and has a bath • large laundry with lots of storage • massive bookshelf to fill downstairs • garage is now home to many couches for the odd late night hang (we respect our neighbours and sleeping housemates so don’t hang in the courtyard), a projector for the odd movie night and a second fridge. • loungey loungeroom filled with couches • sun soaked courtyard with herbs, big clothes line and a BBQ. • unrestricted parking in the street, with surrounding streets having lots of 4hr spots Coupla quick ones on the location: • a few minutes’ stroll will get you to Collingwood station, North Richmond station, busses on Hoddle St, 109 & 12 tram on Vic st. •a few more mins will get you to the hive shopping centre (for Woolies & Aldi), Abbotsford Convent and all the joys Victoria St has to offer. Everything is so dang close it’s amazing.
I’m a female in my late 20’s working in events and studying project management full time. I’m a environmentally contentious, organised and respectful indiviual looking for someone likeminded to share a home with. I like having the occasional friend over for a a cup of tea or dinner but also highly regrd quiet/down time in the house. I have a 6 year old dog who’s stupidly house trained and loves being around people in general. Happy to provide a rental referral for both myself and my pooch upon moving :)
Hey there! My name is Abby. I work full time in South Melb. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, a non smoker, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. I am getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle. Cheers!
I grew up in Australia but some of my most favourable memories have been outside of Oz whilst travelling! I'm currently a student at RMIT and also work in a contact centre at the moment. In my spare time I love to dance (hip hop) or listen to music (recently got into vinyl records) and last but not least going for a drink with my friends.
I'm sociable, easy going, understand how to share a house. I have lots of interests and get on with most people. I have a good job which I love but it doesn't stress me out. I love to live a good life and enjoy people around me doing the same.
Hello! I’m a 25 year old Danish girl and currently living with my boyfriend in Copenhagen, Denmark. I’m going to Melbourne for 4 months from mid July to mid November to study at Swinburne University of Technology in Hawthorn. I'm currently studying my Master in Communication in Copenhagen and I'm really excited to study some media/communication classes at Swinburne Uni. I’m a very clean and considerate person, I’ve lived with roommates before so I know how to compromise and live in a shared house. I like my own space but I would also like to be friends with my roommates and hang out every now and then and get a coffee or beer/wine, go for events/cinema/festivals/other social and fun things to do in Melbourne. I have never been to Australia before, so I'm very excited to go and can't wait to see Melbourne and everything the city has to offer! I love to travel and I’m a very chatty and open-minded person. I love going out to eat at restaurants and I'm really excited to try the many food options in Melbourne. My move-out date will be 18 November, as I am flying to Sydney this date to travel the east coast.
Hello, I'm Ashleigh 25, about to turn 26 so pretty much over the hump and will be 30 in no time (not concerned at all)! I work fulltime in the cbd, in management, for a company girls dream working for- I will divulge information if we meet! My roster is usually Tuesday-Saturday with different hours so I am very quiet during the week and truthfully pretty quiet on the weekend also. My partying days are over, i do however enjoy a quiet night with cheese and wine or searching for a cute brunch spot 😉 I have been in Melbourne for nearly 12 months, prior I lived in the country so i pop back there when I can also. I have been living in a share house so I am respectful of peoples privacy and I am clean! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! My name is Monique. I’m 21, I study Graphic Design and I am an Assistant Manager in Retail. I am looking to takeover the lease of a one bedroom apartment with a car space in the Camberwell area. Please contact me if you have something available. *I am not looking for a sharehouse
Hello! My name is Tennessee. I’m 19 years old and I’ve been living in sunny St Kilda after moving to Melbourne from Sydney back in January. I am looking for somewhere to live where I can feel at home. I am clean, respectful and a friendly person to live with. I am working starting a career in acting, auditioning for various film and stage productions. In the meantime, I work full-time in hospitality to pay he bills. Other interests include music, exercise, cooking and exploring this wonderful city. Hope to be living with you soon :)
Hey flatmates! I'm Jodie, I'm 22 and studying full-time and working part-time at Vic Uni. I'm super laid back, respectful and clean - I'm hoping to find a similar housemate/s! :)
I’m 29, working screenwriter. I travel quite a bit while my short film runs the festival circuit. Otherwise I sometimes work from cafes or home, which means I’m VERY tidy and routined. (plus I'm home to catch those troublesome delivery drivers before they leave a parcel card and flee the scene). I'm also a bit of an early bird but too that doesn’t mean I’m not up for house hangs (though my idea of a house party is pizza, wine and Netflix). As you can imagine, writers aren't your run-of-the-mill extroverts. I.e I enjoy company and making the place feel 'homely' but I also appreciate space.
Alright there! A bit about me: I'm 26 and make money freelance copywriting and digital strategy consultant for high traffic websites. I’m doing less and less of that as I bootstrap a Media company / podcast / Youtube channel, with an interest in long-form conversations about meaning and society. I’ve recently completed a Masters in Philosophy in the UK, much of which was done independently -- I’ve lived in Melbourne for 2 years, (since March 2016). I’ve been away from the city for 2 months, mostly in Europe travelling, working, and attending conferences. I’m originally from the UK, and have also lived in the US and Canada. I'm keen to live with people who are driven, and serious enough to not take themselves too seriously. I'm orderly about the house, communicate clearly, and respect privacy. Honesty, integrity, and a good laugh along the way.
I have lots of interests and know Melbourne well! I like the art and music scene and spend most of my time in the CBD. I'm currently finishing my final semester of a bachelor of advertising. So if you want to talk anything creative I love that stuff. I work on modeling as a hobby and like creating photoshoots etc etc. I'm planning to travel at the end of the year so I'd love to meet more active travelers! :)
Professional, house proud, easy going and funny! Not the worlds greatest cook, but love to have a go! Enjoy a glass of wine, unwinding after the working day, gym, a good movie and chat.
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I’m part of the customer service team at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
