Melbourne born and bread. Working full time managing a bar but going back to uni next year. Can promise I will come home with beer and wine that I convince reps "I will definitely try and get on the menu" and war stories of working in customer service. Looking for a place that is worthy of a sitcom but with people who also respect how nice it can be to sit in the dark and just watch Netflix by yourself. If you want any more info about me give me a call or a text
Hey there, I'm a happy cheerful 27 year old German. I'm here on a sponsored visa through my employer Holden. I`m working as a clay sculptor in car design. I love my work and the life that i get out of it. The last 1 1/2 years i lived in st kilda, it was a great time but now I`m looking somewhere north. People are nicer and food is better and i want to experience a other part of Melbourne :) I`m looking for 6 months plus (apply for permanent residency at the moment so I`m keen to stay) It would be great to found a home with some nice people to share the house and life, I don`t have preferences towards gender and be supportive to any kind of love and lifestyle. Always great to chat to, share dinner with or go out together. But i know and respect every ones space and down time. I'm also a very outgoing person not only for drinks and party, I follow my hobbies in bikram yoga, mountain biking, acroyoga, chess, surfing, riding my motorcycle and so on.... I'm open minded and go along with everyone. I have several share house experiences and it was always a great time for everyone! Looking forward to meet you Cheers Phil ps.: if you have a carport or a garage would be awesome, i`m happy to chip more in...
Im easy to live with, happy to have a chat but as equally as happy to give space, i enjoy cooking, i always clean up after myself, and always keep shared areas neat & tidy.
I am Ilaria, 29 yo, italian! I currently work as an architect in Carlton, but I also study Construction Management in South Melbourne. In my free time (when I get some 😀 ) I like to go out, explore my photographic creativity, do yoga and maybe check some art exhibition, or simply chill at home with a good book! I am friendly but also respectful, plenty of experience in house sharing, so I definitely know how to keep communal spaces clean and be respectful of other's privacy, but also be there for a drink or a chat occasionally.
Heya! I'm Jeremy, a 24 year old guy working full time in customer service. In my spare time, my heart and passion lies in music. I do plan to study next year, however that is still to be decided. I'm looking for share house that consists of people who are creative, driven and respectful! I'm clean, I keep to myself usually but I am far from anti social. My move in date will vary, but if the fit is right I'm happy to move in by early September. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if I seem like a suitable candidate :^)
Hi, I'm Bao, I work in the banking and finance industry and usually finish work around 5.30-6pm. I'm currently studying my Masters of applied finance while working full time. I like sports, love coffee and I'm a cycling enthusiast and keen runner. On weekends, I like to get out and about to socialise and fun, but I also I like to chill out at home with some good music and a drink or two
Hey there potential flatmate! I'm a recruitment professional who is moving to Melbourne from Wellington - full time job already secured. Things to know about me: - exceptional pub quiz contributor - super reliable with bills, chores and the like - excellent with dogs, having had my own and volunteered with SPCA - enthusiastic foodie with particular interests in craft beer, cheese and Southern US food (I make a mean pulled pork) - Non-annoying NZ accent - pop culture junkie and film buff - equally happy hanging out with flatmates and chatting as I am chilling on my own If I sound like someone you'd like to hang out with, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, two years ago relocated from Burleigh on the Gold Coast to the Mornington Peninsular and enjoy what my home offers but recently had the opportunity to spend a few months in inner Melbourne and remembered how much I love the town. So am looking to rent a space so I can split my time between the beach and city. I believe I am open minded, respectful, into clean food and non chemical environment, travel whenever I can and enjoy getting out and about with friends for food, live music..... Hard to say how often I will be around, depends on what opportunities re: travel, work etc. come along. Also a non smoker, social drinker, music, yoga, walker and dog lover. Thanks for your time Shelley
Non smokers, non alcoholics and no party animals please. 1 Private room available in splendid Mansion from September! - $280/w for single - $325/w for couple All bills (gas, water, electricity) included (apart from heater, cooler), Fully Furnished, Unlimited WIFI. Just bring your suitcase! The mansion has 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 4-5 times bigger than an average house in Melbourne with huge space. You will have friendly housemates from all walks of life to socialise with. The house is very well looked after and maintained, you Won't get the noise, dirty dishes, dirty bathrooms, smokes, drunk behaviour, and all the problems that comes with every other share house. This has been the No. 1 reason people move into this house. Communal areas are professionally cleaned once a week, coin washers and dryers available too.
A room is available in a two bedroom apartment with modern interior (Miele appliances), some furniture (lounge, kitchen, European laundry etc), internet, air conditioning, balcony with BBQ in Abbottsford. The apartment building boasts modern common areas including a gym and 25 meter indoor pool with outdoor deck which is only accessible via security pass. Located within close proximity of IKEA Richmond (Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre) the apartment gives easy access to shops and the Victoria Street precinct with tram stops (Routes 109 and 12) right outside. Trams are frequent and takes about 20 mins to get to Collins Street in the CBD and within a 7 min walk from Church Street tram (to get to Chapel St).
Hi my name is Roberta, I'm 32 years old and I work full time in a supermarket. I love travelling, photography, music, reading, art, walking, learning new things, especially different cultures. I'm a quiet person but also sociable, well mannered, clean, tidy and respect others' privacy.
Hi, My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and have recently moved over from the UK. I'm looking for somewhere to live in Collingwood/Fitzroy/Abbotsford area. As a housemate I'm easy going and tidy, like to have a night out as much as a movie/meal night in. I like to socialise, enjoy cooking and am partial to a glass of wine! I'm working as a doctor in ED so will be working the occasional night shift but can sleep through most things with my earplugs in. Feel free to ask questions. Sophie
I’m just about to move to Melbourne for work from Sydney. I’m working full time in a national communications/events role and looking for a like minded flatmate(s) to make my living experience in Melbourne enjoyable. I’m really excited to explore the city and meet new people. I’m a super easy going & a social person, I love checking out new bars/restaurants/clubs and will always be up for a wine or two. (P.s did I mention I work in liquor so there will be plenty of perks coming your way.) I’m a very clean person and love to keep my place tidy. I like to cook whole, plant based healthy food and will often prepare all my meals for the week. I’m also into the gym and will try to go before work in the morning. During the week I’ll generally be out at industry events or at dinners with girlfriends, but sometimes will just take it easy. I’m very blonde and tall, and often get asked if I’m swedish (which I reply to in a made up accent.) Preferences for a car spot, and furnished room, but it wouldn't rule a nice place out. I would love to connect and chat to you more about how I will be an awesome flatmate :D
Hi, I'm looking for a friendly group of people to share a home with. I lead a pretty busy life throughout the week, but enjoy a glass of wine or some brunch on the weekend. I appreciate a healthy balance of socialising and respecting privacy with housemates.
HELLOOOOOOOOO!!! We are two energetic and adventurous girls looking for housemates similar to ourselves. We are two friends from University looking to move closer to the city. We love wine, cheese and more wine. We enjoy going out for a bite to eat and a few drinks but do love a good movie night every now and then......the kettle is always boiling for our numerous cups of tea. We are clean, respectful of privacy, can cook, love to bake and we are easy going. So if you enjoy wine and cheese nights, cups of tea and a lot on unhealthy baked goodS feel free to message us!
Hi there! How’s it going? I hope well! I am a quite good Brazilian guy, 26 years old looking for a private room in this amazing city! First you need to know, I love cooking, although I usually do not do it too much because I hate doing the dishes (that’s terrible job), but if you have a dishwasher or do not mind doing this one, we have perfect match for special dinners! I work part-time as office cleaner at night and have some shifts as barista in a cafe shop. Coffee (another love). Honestly, I have a lot of loves, cooking, coffee, new food experiences, beer, spend time on the beach, brigadeiro, chocolate, etc. I am not such a fitness guy, although if I have a partner I can use to do any sports, I’d like to learn how to sky or surf, or simply to go to the gym together. Besides that, I’m studying a diploma in information technology, then Monday to Saturday I’m busy. During free time, I like cooking Brazilian foods, watching series (GOT, how to get away with a murder, sense8, the walking dead, etc), walking on the beach or just going out with friends to have some beers. I am not a huge party boy, I really enjoy taking a seat and talking to, drinking and eating anything. Although I often do not make my bad, I use to keep on the house tidy and clean, principally kitchen and bathroom, also I use to take shower every day (same in freezing days) and brush teeth 4 or 5 times a day (I am a bit paranoid about my teeth). I have visa until 19/01/2019, so I am looking for a place where a can call home for this long time and I want to move in the last week of September. Let’s catch up for drinks and talk about our future house? =D Have a wonderful week! See you soon!
I'm a down to earth laid back guy looking for a house share whilst I work full time and enjoy Melbourne. I like cooking and communal meals, spontaneous or planned Road trips and live music. Also trying to learn to surf before the end of the year!
Hi there! I'm free in endly and easy going - seeking a room with air conditioning/cooling and parking (on or off street). I am very clean, tidy and zero drama. Currently studying an MBA (almost finished!) and about about to return to working full time. Need to leave my current apartment in Elsternwick as the landlord wants to move in :( I am eager to move asap but can stay in my current place until first week if October if necessary. Seeking a room with space for my desk as I often have to do alot of study in the evenings. I have a fridge and washing machine I purchased only 2 months ago plus a couch and other furniture. Will either sell or put in storage if my new place doesn't have space for it.
My name is Alice and me and my housemate Charlotte are looking to move to South Yarra/Prahran/Richmond area mid November when our current rent runs out. We are both 22 and studying! We're both from Tassie and have been living in Melbourne in shared accommodation for 3 years (which also means we come with almost all furniture for common areas!). We love just hanging out but also going on a night out every now and then! We are both clean and like to hang out but respect everyones space. Unfortunately Charlotte is allergic to almost every pet so we can't have any pets in the house. We are looking for someone to sign onto at least a year long contract, max of about $230 a week and right near a train station. If any of this sounds like it would suit you, send us a message!
Greatest location ever! In Abbotsford, a short 5 minute walk to Victoria Park train station. Less than 15 minutes and you are in the city! The Yarra River runs behind the property with nice parks, walking and bike trails. In front of the apartment complex is Victoria Park football ground, with BBQs and a dog-friendly park. The Eastern Freeway is connected easily with Trenerry Crescent on the back route so you will never have to see major peak hour traffic along Hoddle Road if you are heading out to the suburbs. The property is close to many nice cafes, coffee shops, bars, shops, and local farmers market!! There is a lot to explore around this area! It's on the top floor of the apartment looking out towards Richmond! The views in the mornings are the best! You can often see hot air balloons floating their way over Abbotsford. The room is furnished with a double bed and blankets/pillows already. There is a double mirror wardrobe, and plenty of storage under the bed compartments too. You will have your own bathroom. The apartment is already fully furnished, with a washing machine and dryer as well. There is also a small study area where I have left my laptops and desktops to do work at home. We also have an outdoor terrace with a bbq. There is a spare parking space for your car as well. It is warm during the Winter and has air conditioning during the Summer. Looking for someone to stay minimum 3 months... maximum 1 year...! and perhaps recruit or find a new flat mate once I depart Australia to travel to Canada in Feb 2018.
I'm new to Melbourne and looking for someone to share a home with I'm social and love a good laugh. I'm learning guitar and love to skateboard when the weather is good. I'm super conscious of others :) I've lived in Brisbane for the past six months in a share house and am currently living in a share house in Reservoir but need something more secure for my dog.. looking for a like minded person. I have an 8 year old staffy named Buddy he is a cuddler, loves people and a scratch behind the ear :) (unfortunately doesn't like cats)
I work full time in the pet nutrition industry in SE Melbourne/VIC. Like to go out on weekends or get out of the city, but just as happy staying in and going for brunch Sunday morning. Currently living in the north, so I'm keen to be east/south east to cut out a long and frustrating part of my commute. I love to cook, have netflix nights or chats over a glass (or two) of red, read and exercise and go out with friends. Looking to start up a lease on a place as I am equiped with nice furniture, a stable income and a very well behaved and housetrained cat/bunny duo. Would love to find people to share a home with, as opposed to just coexisting under the same roof. Hoping to get a 3 bedroom with two others, or even just one person and then filling the third bedroom later (I'd cover the room until it was full). As I have furniture and animals I would lease a place myself if I could, however I would have more luck getting a larger place with a second person and three people sound like a nice little family to me. Happy to have someone on a working holiday staying 6mo or more as the only furniture needed is bedroom stuff. And maybe a microwave and toaster if you have one... :)
I'm a 28 year old engineer. I've recently started a new job in the Northern Suburbs and am looking to move a little closer to work (currently living in the south east and having to battle Punt Rd very day). I'm easy going and tidy. I enjoy sport, comedy, music and books. I'm sociable and like hanging out but also appreciate peoples need for privacy.
