Hi guys! I come with two very adorable animals! A staghound named Obi who loves daily walks and lots of cuddles, and a gorgeous kitty named Snookie who never bites or scratches - they are perfect :) I also come with a piano and other furniture that I would love to share with my housemates! I work as a teacher so paying rent won't be an issue; neither will paying bills. Always happy to have a chat but I also love to read and do other quiet activities. Not even close to being labelled a party animal, but I definitely love social outings to the movies, theatre and live music concerts. It would be fantastic if I could come and check out your place, or join with someone to lease a place. Hope to hear from you soon! Bethany
I'm doing a PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. Australia is a very generous country so they decided to give me a salary/scholarship, which means that I can always pay my rent and bills in time, without having to rob any Woolies. In my spare time I like to do sports (running, swimming, yoga, soccer etc), annoy people around me playing my guitar, read books and travel as much as I can even if that just means going for on an adventure to the nearby pub. This is my 5th year living abroad in shared houses, before coming to Melbourne I lived in Ireland and Canada, so I am an international expert in the art of sharing a house. I value a lot the relationship with my housemates, so I'm looking for a bunch of people I can feel comfortable with, inside and outside the house, sharing dinners, drinks, lazy afternoons and any random moment life brings about. Luckily I also know how to respect others' privacy so I promise I won't follow you inside the bathroom. Living in a clean house is fundamental for me, so I hereby solemnly commit to put my efforts in keeping the place tidy and neat, and cleaning regularly.

Hey! Me & my super cool bengal kitty are looking for a new place to call home! If you've got a nice spacious room coming up for a good time gal who loves paying bills on time, being tidying, having major yarns, eating carbs by the spaceship load then lets catch up yea? But if you're also someone/peoples who loves personal space and just chilling then that's awesome too, I can fully respect that! I've got a budget of $360 per week for a sweet spot!
I'm an exchange student from Japan to UoM. I love cooking, so I'm so glad if we can share what we make. I can cook Japanese food and teach how to cook, so it's so nice to make their country's food and share each other. and I play jazz trumpet. If anyone like jazz, it is so nice for me.
A potential flatmate, yes, but never a flat mate. I'm Kris, part-time retail employee, full-time energised bundle of joy, or so the rumours persist. I'm a pretty economical unicorn of sorts; I enjoy a good Aldi splurge, cheap Chinatown eats, gallery hops, and kerbside collections. Forever the domestic goddess of your dreams, I follow the mantra of keeping common rooms immaculately cosy, whilst mingling with esteemed members of the disinfectant community on a weekly basis (I personally consider Ajax and Exit Mould to be my friends). I have a penchant for morning sweat sessions - Bodyattack and Pump to be specific, and long walks when I can. Meeting new people, dinner parties and sneaky wines are a weekend ritual. In general, you'll be getting a chilled, calm and collected kaleidoscope of an individual.
Hello! :) my names Cassie I just recently made the big move to melbs from NZ (: I work full time in hospo , mostly day hours and usually a day in the weekend :) hunting for some night hospo work too at the mo! :) I'm a super bubbly gal thats social and wouldn't mind having a good night out! 💃🏼 I like to keep my environment clean and am respectful of introvert time ( we all need it! ) I'm looking to live with positive people that like their down time but are still up for hanging about :) food grown from the earth 🍌🍎🌽🍆 But everyone eats what they choose and I would never judge 😊 Love music also (main pAssion!) and I always have open arms for great hugs 👍🏽🤗 can't wait to meet u! 💜
I am a 30 year old professional who works full time for a Royal Medical College in East Melbourne. When I'm not working I love exploring Melbourne and socialising with my friends and family. Lynsey =^.^=
Hey there!!! My name's Josie, I'm 36 and I love music (I go to gigs a couple of times a week, talk about/am always listening to), I loooove cooking, and I spend a fair bit of time juggling study / Netflix binging / reading, sometimes all at once and getting out and about exploring new and great things! I have a full-time job, one casual job, and am also studying online because apparently I'm a punisher! I'm pretty damned experienced at the houseshare thing - I clean up after myself, pull my weight, and pay what's due on time. I also however have a cat, or a sloth. Depends on the day. She's a 10 year old rescue cat and is the most inactive and passive thing ever, she's also my mate and is basically my shadow. Anywhooo, thanks for looking, hope to find a place soon with people I can call mates as well as roomies!
Hey! So my name's Amanda and I've been in Melbs almost a year now. I'm looking for somewhere to call home, particularly close to the CBD. I'm really easy going and very tidy (bit of a clean freak). I love throw it down in the kitchen so expect a meal every now and then. I also love to socialise over a drink or two every now and then but I also like to have my quiet time. If I'm not working or studying then I'm probably just watching a series or planning my next adventure. Looking to find an awesome roommate who'd be a great friend too :)
Hey, my name is Simon but all my friends call me Chilli (so you can too) Im 29 and just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and currently room sitting until the 8th August! So he's a little bit about me; Im currently working full time at Melbourne Central, I'm quite sociable, friendly and easy to talk to, love going out for a beer or 2 (or more haha) but also enjoy a night in with some takeout and movies. I usually make bad jokes from time to time but it all makes it funny in the end. Im clean and tidy and love to cook (so you'll get someone with amazing cooking skills as a roomie). I also produce electronic music and hoping to set up my little studio in the room. I'm hoping to get a rad place with even radder roommates (nawww). So if you're interested, swing me a message and we can chat some more - hope to hear from you soon! :)
Three (now) mates living together, one has a partner who comes and stays for a few days once or twice a month. Pride ourselves in being tidy, respectful to each other's space and communicating well. During the week we are subdued but, come weekend, we like to have a few drinks. We previously had a couple and then a guy, so we are looking for another guy ($776 per month) or another couple ($866 per month) to keep a similar dynamic. Bills are on top. Utilities come quarterly and internet/netflix is per month. Also we are looking for someone to join the lease agreement so they either need a full time job or good rental history. The bond is a little more than four weeks rent which we will also need upfront when the lease/bond agreement is signed. But the rent is super cheap for this location and the size of the rooms! To give you an idea of the room sizes, the bed in the pictures is a queen size bed, plenty of room left over! With the second room being about 80% size of the first.
GOOD Location! Share a massive room from $150pw. Available from 12 August. Not leaving in December. Opportunity now exist to move into a very spacious, beautifully designed 6 Loft bed dorm (in a 8-bed 4-bath beautiful Mansion, good inner-city location). Not for party animals! House is located off a quiet street off Victoria St's cafes, 1 min walk to Woolies & Aldi, direct Tram (109) & Train (North Richmond) to CBD less than 10mins. The house is also right between Carlton & Fitzroy and Richmond 's vibrant shopping & restaurant precinct, too convenient to be true.
Non smokers, non alcoholics and no party animals please. 1 Private room available in splendid Mansion from January 2018. Register your interest! - $300/w for single - $350/w for couple All bills (gas, water, electricity) included (apart from heater, cooler), Fully Furnished, Unlimited WIFI. Just bring your suitcase! The mansion has 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 4-5 times bigger than an average house in Melbourne with huge space. You will have friendly housemates from all walks of life to socialise with. The house is very well looked after and maintained, you Won't get the noise, dirty dishes, dirty bathrooms, smokes, drunk behaviour, and all the problems that comes with every other share house. This has been the No. 1 reason people move into this house. Communal areas are professionally cleaned once a week, coin washers and dryers available too.
I’m Jackson - 24 (although some of my friends would say 30), full-time economist and film buff (I also have a budding interest in baking!). I'm Melbourne born and raised, but have a U.S. citizenship (not that I plan on taking advantage of that anytime soon...). I'm easy-going, sociable, friendly and open, but also take pride in being organised, clean, and respectful of others. I'm a sucker for getting out and going for walks, be it in a city park, or state reserve. I'm currently on the hunt for a room close to the city, just to make the commute to work easier, and to experience life in the vibrant inner-city culture and surrounds. I've had rooms in share houses before - in Copenhagen, in Berlin and here in Melbourne. I'd love to find a new home with a group of people who consider themselves friends, not just housemates. I've been an avid traveller for most of my young adult life, having spent many long trips in Europe and surrounds, and have spent 3 months in Cambodia working on a micro-finance project. When I get the chance, I love to go to a local café, sample a coffee, and have a nice read of the paper or any other article, book or magazine that has piqued my interest.
G'day, we are Holly and Jesse, and we're looking for a new fabulous place to call home. Holly is a singer/songwriter, youth engagement worker and bartender, and volunteers at Triple R. Jesse is a gardener who works labouring for the City of Whitehorse and also writes fiction and spends a large chunk of time working on his writing. Jesse is American, Holly is Australian, Holly is a vegetarian, Jesse isn't. We both love pubs, beer, books, cooking, walks, talking, seeing shows and sitting in parks. We are both genuinely happy, positive people who thrive on meeting and getting to know new legends, and although we both love going out, we both want home to be a sanctuary and definitely not just a crash pad. We're currently in a pretty unique situation - we've been between renting temporarily with friends and long-term Airbnb stays, although we both have stable, steady work. Holly also regularly travels outside of Melbourne on tour. Jesse's current visa is up just before Christmas, so we're planning to leg it back to California at that time. It would be so lovely to find the perfect home in Melbourne for the next 5 months. Looking forward to meeting some great people here!
