My boyfriend and I are looking for a short term stay (around 6 weeks). We both work full time during the week and have weekends off, which we usually spend time with friends out having food or a few drinks. We're both clean and very easy going. Both very sociable people but totally understand everyone needs there own personal space.
Hi, Bernie here, I'm a 38 yo woman from Melbourne, but I've been living in the Kimberley region of WA for the past 5 years working an an artist/theatremaker/animator, and artsworker. I'm moving back to my original home Melbourne to complete my Masters in Theatre at the VCA. I'm into listening to the radio while painting, cooking, making art, talking, reading, gardening, walking, swimming, dancing, sleeping etc. I work pretty hard, don't party too hard, I fluctuate between hermit and hyper social depending on my workload at the time. I'm clean and considerate and rather skilled in flipping pancakes :)
Hi, I'm Kat. Im 37. I'm a little geeky, a little artsy, and these days much more inclined to a quiet wine on a Saturday night than a thumping nightclub. I also run my own learning and development company (I work from home some of the time) so am responsible, gainfully employed, etc etc. I'm looking for a new home with housemate/s that can balance social interaction and fun with respect for privacy and quiet time. Y'know, grown-up stuff!
I am an ED nurse by profession, so live a life controled by shift work. Enjoy going to cafes, movies, keep fit at the gym, passionate about travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy the company of others but equally happy on my own. Easy to get along with and grounded. Have a positive outlook and enjoy life. I’m very respectful of other people and believe that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself. A flatmate/s who likes to hang out and watch a movie and share a glass of wine but someone who is not in your face. Looking for a place to call Home for Upto 6months before I head off to the UK.
Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where there's some kind of weekly cleaning schedule, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.
Hey! I'm Renz and I'm a recent university graduate from Adelaide who is relocating to Melbourne for work mid-February (1 year contract, full time). My work is situated in Abbotsford and I won't be bringing my car with me so I'm hoping to find a place close to a train station along the Hurstbridge or South Morang line. When I'm not at work, I enjoy being active by going to the gym or the dance studio (I'm a hip hop dancer, just if you're curious). Or if I'm in a lazy mood, I enjoy cooking/baking, jamming on my guitar or chilling out with a good movie/tv series. I'm very tidy, respectful of people and their personal space and always down to make new friends!
I love a good chat, movie nights, themed meal nights and just relaxing. I've lived in many a shareholder and know how to be respectful, put the effort in, be able to pay my way, have a dance party or two and have a laidback and open attitude. I love being around humans, and animals and I look forward to meeting some really grouse people!
I am a fairly social yet independent and relaxed person, and am hoping to find some like-minded housemates! I am originally from WA, but spent the past 4 years living in Vietnam (Saigon), before moving to Melbourne just before Christmas. I was a physio previously, but am career-changing to high school science teaching. I am fairly low-key during the week - work, study (masters) and some sport. On weekends, I enjoy being out and about with friends, checking out music and events, watching footy (during the season!) and just generally enjoying life. I love cooking, watching good movies, playing Scrabble / Trivial Pursuit, drinking wine and general chats! Ideally, I would love to live with friendly and fun folk, who enjoy housey hangs but also are fairly independent and chilled.
Hi, I'm a quiet, creative and fun person looking for a place to stay while I study Psychology at Melbourne Uni. I love animals and parks, but also love to just veg out and consume TV or movies. I have casual work, but love to draw, write and paint in my spare time, and have a finished Zine. I'm very passionate about social justice issues, and have an intersectional approach to my life! My friend is also looking for a place too! Her name is Thirushi and she's a med student that is working this year. She is fun, extroverted, loves basketball, reading and finding new bars. She is a strong supporter of human rights and hopes to work for Doctors without Borders.
Hi! I'm a relaxed 27 year old engineer who just moved down to Melbourne from Brissy. I work regular hours and ride in there, so that's one less person using the home bathroom in the morning! I like chilling out with people, coffee, cycling, beer, books, movies and any combination of the above. Always keen for some banter and hangs but give housemates the space they need too. On the weekends I like going on long bike rides and hanging with mates. I like a tidy house but am not a clean freak, as long as the communal areas are neat and tidy, I'm happy!
Hi Guys! My names Leanne, Im a 23 year old English Zoology graduate and also a yoga teacher. Im currently working in Richmond doing admin at a construction company. I am very easy going and friendly, social but very respectful of personal space.
Hi I am Maggie. Kiwi gal who recently moved over the ditch. I work full time during the week in the city. I like to stay active and socialize ! I am 22 and looking for housemates with similar interests. I am very housetrained, clean up after myself. Please let me know if you have a room available, wanting to be North side preferable but open to options.
We are both studying design, work casually/part-time, enjoy socialising, but respect and enjoy some space as well. We are friends, who met in Tasmania, easy going people, clean and respectful. We are looking for two seperate private rooms. Non-smokers, enjoy cooking, and keep our homes tidy. Hit us up :)
I'm 26, working in corporate sales for Flight Centre Business Travel. On weekdays I'm out the door at 6:50am, then not home until 6:30pm - 7:00pm. I love coming home to a bit of positive energy and an engaging discussion (skip the small talk and tell me about how good/bad your day was) - am very social but can appreciate my own space. Having said that on weeknights my time is balanced between other activities like footy and generally getting out and about and enjoying the expensive lifestyle southside Melbourne has to offer. Thoroughly enjoy sport, music and business. Weekends I struggle to sit around the house so I'm usually out doing something - during Summer at the beach, lunches, dinner etc. During winter pretty tied down by footy. Very much enjoy a cider or bottle of red. I travel a fair bit too due to work perks so I'll probably spend 4-6 weeks of the year away. I have plenty to offer in terms of furniture and possessions. My Dad actually just sold his house and has a plethora of couches, TV's, chairs, tables - all sorts of things, all pretty new and flash too. In regards to the move from my place, I have a washing machine, full-sized fridge, 51-inch TV, kitchenware, couch, nice dining chairs, coffee table, few more things here and there.
I work full time and will also be going to school Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Love music (going to gigs & festivals), cooking, sports, hiking, camping and surfing. Lived in many sharehouses so know the drill re; cleanliness, paying rent & bills on time, privacy ect.
I am a very chilled South American teamed up with a very geriatric Kitty Cat looking for a new adventure away from Richmond, were we have lived for 5 years. I am a Vet Nurse, working in Fitzroy full time. I have lived in Melbourne for 10 years now, so its the place i call home. I am pretty easy going, like to have a drink on the weekends and watch netflix during the week. Loving the beach at the moment and everything summery. My 14 yo cat loves nothing more than sleeping 23 hours a day, the spare hour is for cuddling.
Hey there, Im Brazilian born living in Australia my whole life, I moved to Melbourne 3 years ago to finish off my Masters at RMIT. Now finished I’m searching for new jobs in the marketing sector and enjoying a little bit of travel. I managed a restaurant in the CBD on flinders lane called Lucy Liu ( delicious food). Im obsessed with food and drink always looking for the new place to check out but enjoy cooking at home to save money. I contribute to the house in anyway I can, decent clean freak and handy gardener. Never too shy for a chat always down to get into some tv shows and movies. I enjoy going for bike rides and skating around to OP shops when I get the time. I’m not allergic to any animals so always happy to have some extra company around the house. I’d make a great housemate because I’m relaxed and tidy, always wanting to try new things.
Currently working in Kew as a bartender and a flower delivery girl for a well known florist which gives me some interesting stories to tell at the end of my work days and come with their own perks. Im also studying Entertainment Journalism with a bit of film this year, hoping to make some legendary doccos someday. In my down-time i love to cook and watch movies/tv series. (currently making my way through a never-ending list to watch.) Love going out for movies/food/drinks and having a good night out but i also like a quiet night in with homemade fajitas and a good movie or 3. I work some late nights but i also work most of the day so i keep really busy. I play hockey for Kew/Box hill Brumbies which is always fun to watch. Im into my fitness, traveling, food and always up for adventures!
I'm Lydia, 30, and work at Toyota, though my experience before this is in humanitarian aid sector. I'm pretty easy going, like to share a meal with housemates occasionally, a glass of wine or beer and a good chat are always good, but I understand that home is a sanctuary and space/alone time is important. I love reading, enjoy a good meal, pubs, playing ultimatum games and a good laugh. I think it's important to make the effort to make a share house a home, not just a house. I like to keep communal spaces clean, and cooking for housies. I'm very easy going and flexible. I think it's important to respect others' space and time.

Originally from Ireland, I've been living in Perth for the last 18 months. I'm relocating to Melbourne at the end of January. I'll be working in Epping as a junior doctor so I'm looking for somewhere between town and epping on the South Morang line. I'm easy going. I've lived in multiple previous share houses and I know how to get on well. I'm looking forward to exploring Melbourne with new friends in my free time. I'm planning on bringing my car across, so ideally would be looking for a place with a parking space on/off street.
I'm an American, from Michigan that has been living in Wellington for the last 6 months and before moving here I Thru-hiked Te Araroa, which is 3000km from the bottom of NZ to the top. So I'm always keen on a weekend in the bush. Although I have worked in Hospo/Bars for the last 5 years, I'm doing an alcohol free year and will be looking for a non-hospo job so I'll have normal hours. I'm pretty easy going, game a decent amount, but always keen for convo over tea or coffee! I'm Christian, but the loving, Non-judgmental, LGBT friendly type. :D
Student, looking for a place to live for a year in Melbourne (suburbs), either a house shared with others - preferably under 30yo's or an apartment. Maximum budget $150 per person per week. Non smokers, tidy, organised, relocating from the country. Respectful of others, tidy up after myself. Looking for a housemate who is easygoing like me. Male or Female - preferably female. Would be great if I could find someone who would be up for the occasional shared dinner during the week, the odd drink with friends now and again and loves to have a good laugh.
Hi, I am Melissa, Melbourne born, work for an Oil company as an Office Manager in the inner suburbs. I dabble in photography when I have time. I love cooking, the outdoors, travelling, pilates, gym, hiking, the beach, time out with friends and live music. I generally work between 9.00am & 5.30pm but tend to head to the gym/pilates before work and out for a walk around the Tan, Botanical Gardens or down the beach, if not catching up with friends for dinner or a live band! I am not home a whole lot so out the door early and back late evening during the week! I am looking for a new place with housemates that have a good energy and drama free! A place I feel comfortable in and can call home. I am out a fair bit doing my own thing, but sometimes like time at home to chill watching a movie, cooking, baking and spending time on my photography. I am house-trained, pay bills on time and easy to get along with! I cook my own meals as I do have food allergies and know to be a health freak! I do love to experiment with baking sometimes so I may need you as my guinea pigs to sample the treats! A sense of humour and respecting each other is a must in the household! Be nice to have housemates that I can chill with at home, have drink and few laughs every now and then. Ideally looking to have a place locked in to move into as soon as possible for a move in date at the earliest of 20 January, 2018. Would prefer housemates in their late 20's to early 40's. I am very young at heart but not one for bring the party home! My ideal areas are close into the city as I tend to be in the city and surrounds alot socially and for work. Would like a large room that fits a queen bed and other small furnishing comfortably. Also have some items that I may need to store some kitchen items food processor and couple other small electrical goods etc as I am keen cook/baker so will need some pantry space for home made creations! I am relocating as I am in the city and surrounds regularly, move to work closer and my friend I currently live with is moving in with her partner, so it makes sense to relocate closer into the inner city suburbs! Feel free to message me if you have a share place available or you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household! :)
