I am a very clean and tidy present. I am capable of socialising with everyone and easy to get along with, yet I am more than capable of respecting people space.
Hi there! We have a 2 bedroom apartment in Abbotsford that no one is living in at the moment, so you'll pretty much have the place to yourself! Max stay is until the 21st of November. Internet is not included but we have a portable broadband if required (at an additional cost), parking is off street - however we do have undercover secure parking available (additional cost).
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
Hi there! My name is Zane, I’m 24 and originally from the gold coast, I moved to Melbourne about two months ago for an amazing full-time job opportunity at Melbourne Graduate School of Education (UniMelb). I consider myself social, laid-back and easy to get along with. I have the prospect of finding housemates who also have pride in their house environment and appreciate the beauty/comfort of a warm, tidy and welcoming space to come home too at the end of the day and are independent like myself but also social enough that things like housemate dinner/drinks is a something that is welcomed. Outside of this I enjoy cooking (I’m a pretty good cook if I must say!), music and the arts; catching as many gigs and stage shows as I can and LOVE to discover new cafés and eating spots over weekends.
It's the master bedroom with ensuite, in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and plenty of privacy (balcony access) and 2 car parking spaces available as well. 5 min walk to yarra river, Victoria Park Station and Iga.
I'm amber. I am a freelance Graphic Designer originally from Byron Bay, but I have called Melbourne home for the last 5 years. I am a creative type, I enjoy music, coffee and art. Usual things. Im a bit of an enviromentailist and love getting involved in community projects. Gardening is cool aswell. I spend my week working or at my internship and spend nights either still working or chilling, watching movies or reading. I do enjoy cooking and being from a big family, I like to cook for people. I have a house of furnature, though also foster homes for them if need be.
I'm an accepting, friendly/social Nutrition Science student with lowwww animal product intake (non-dairy milks, almost no meat and only eggs sometimes, but not completely veggo) and I train Brazilian jiu jitsu about 5+ times a week when I'm not busy with other projects like my apparel side project. :) I'm LGBTIQ friendly, feminist, excited to learn new things, noise conscious, clean and relaxed, and almost always out working, training or studying so I'm rarely hanging around the house. I strive to always maintain good vibes even when I've had a rough day and am down for a chat or a gin on days off!

It's really hard to make these sites not sound like a dating profile on RSVP or similar. I'm Campbell, I work full-time for a professional body for engineers. Originally from New Zealand been living in Sydney for the past four years and have now made the move to Melbourne. I am a pretty friendly and down to earth sort of guy. I am pretty tidy (I think). On weekends I like to hangout with friends or have a drink or two. I like to hit up gastropubs for food with friends but sometimes prefer a weekend with Netflix. I know how to respect other peoples space and like my own downtime. After a furnished room. Looking for great people to live with.
Hey there, my name is Jahla. I'm in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who is reliable, I am NOT looking for a share room. I'd probably describe myself as pretty chilled, respectful, easy going, positive, fun and social person. I am super clean, so i try to keep the mess to a minimum. I have my own car and license which provides independence.. I'd preferably would like to share with another female, but at the end of the day as long as we can live together comfortably and happily that's all that matters. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I work full time in Docklands so ill be out from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you'd like to know more about me, or ask any questions feel free to message me. Look forward to meeting my future flat mate :)
Born in Montreal Canada to an Australian mother. Just moved to Melbourne to go back to school. Going to hopefully be doing my Masters of teaching in February. I'm living at my cousin's house in Richmond at the moment and am trying to find some cool people to move in with. I'm a cinephile, somewhat geeky but quite extroverted. I'm very open-minded, progressive, a bit of a hippy. I work at a small whisky resto/bar in the cbd. I'm into sustainable living, queer friendly, and love biking around. I'm neat and tidy and I like to cook for other people. I speak French and Spanish and will be learning Japanese. Here's a link to my couch surfing profile to see references from people that have had me stay in their house:

Love spending my weekends out and about with friends. Very, clean and tidy :) looking for like minded people to share with in a homely space.
Hey! We are looking for a new housemate to join us in our Abbotsford home! A double room is available. We are located a 5 minute walk from Victoria street and a 10 minute walk from Smith street. Trains, trams and buses are all within 5 minutes. We are two girls, Rowan and Hattie. Rowan is studying a masters of environmental engineering and Hattie is working for an environmental consultancy. We love getting outdoors, riding bicycles, growing vegetables and having a beer. We sometimes cook together but mostly run on our own schedules, catching up on the couch, or on the front verandah. We are looking for someone who will not just be a new housemate, but a new friend!
Hi I'm Julian, I'm 29 y.o graphic designer — I work full time at a design studio in Collingwood. I work standard hours and keep things pretty low key during the week, though I do enjoy the odd glass of wine in the evenings. On weekends I like to catch up with friends, get out to gigs or exhibitions, catch a film or just hang in the sun, and I play a bit of soccer too. I enjoy the party times but have toned it down a bit in recent years. I'm keen to experience life on the north side, with the added bonus of being closer to work. I'm a pretty easy going guy and prefer living a social environment where sharing meals and a drink or two on the w/e is encouraged.
We have a bedroom with it's own bathroom in a bright, airy, modern apartment available for rent. located on the 7th floor, there's a great view over Richmond in a very convenient location with a tram stop at the bottom of the building and an IGA in the bottom floor as well as building facilities which include swimming pool, barbecues, sauna and gym. Netflix, PS4 and Wii U if that's what you're into as well as NBN Tier 5 speed (100Mbps/40Mbps) and a coffee machine(free lessons included) and a kitchen with Smeg appliances.
Hi, two friends looking for something short term-ish, Jake, works full time in Natural Resource Management and Nick works full time in Marketing. both super easy going dudes, usually quite busy during the week, up for a beer on the weekend :)
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! I need somewhere with a backyard / some form of a grassed area that I can easily access to take the dogs out to the toilet. They often wake me up during the night to take them out so apartments above ground floor are not suitable :( About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
I’m an easy going and friendly individual. I enjoy socialising and going out for a pint but I also like my own space. I’m well versed in sharehouse living, I'm tidy, conscientious and respectful of other people’s things. I love animals so I’m happy to share with people who have pets. I work full time for a publishing house and have recently moved back to Melbourne from London. I love travelling and go abroad every year if I can and I’m a sucker for really great food. I also love books, of which I have many and will happily share. Cheers. :)
Hello! My name is Haylee. I am a 26 year old Kiwi gal who has been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years. I work Mon-Fri as a Graphic Designer in the city and like to keep fit and head to the gym in my spare time. I am friendly & sociable as well as clean and tidy. I am looking for a room around Richmond/Abbotsford area as thats where i have been living for the last few years. I do have a Ragdoll cat, who is very easy going and is litter trained. Looking to move in somewhere on or around Saturday 12th November 2016.
We have one room available for a couple/single in our share house. Great location in Abbotsford, 1 minute walk from the 109 tram into the city and from bustling Victoria Street which has many great restaurants. You'll be sharing with 2 friendly housemates in their mid twenties. The house is quite old but very comfortable - it's well insulated so it's a great place to keep cool in Summer, it also has a new hot water service and a neat courtyard. We appreciate the house being kept neat and tidy, so a tidy person is preferred. No dogs allowed, cats are ok (I have one). It's a pretty quiet house (ie. not a party house!), so if you're looking for a relaxed living environment then this might be the place for you. Being clean and tidy is a must for whoever takes the room. The rent is very affordable, especially as it is in such a convenient location close to the CBD. Rent includes unlimited Wi-Fi but other bills are separate. There is plenty of street parking available for those who have a car but a parking permit will need to be purchased for a small fee from the council.
Just returned from a 5 month backpacking trip through Europe, so looking to move back closer to the city, was in North Fitzroy before I left and loved the area so anywhere around there is great but definitely open to new locations too! I've been in retail for a looong time, so I can probably hook you up with sweet deals. I am a binge series watcher, and love reading so can be a bit of a homebody, but I also love a cheeky beer or 5 and heading out in the glorious city we live in. The important stuff: I'm clean, I wash dishes, I love shower products so I always smell nice and leave the bathroom smelling nice too, I won't bug you but I will probably want to be your friend, I will buy milk always because black tea just isn't the same and I'm pretty much your ideal housemate.
I moved to Melbourne about a year ago, run a content marketing agency and publish a magazine, and also work as a photographer. I usually work out of a co-working space during the week, but sometimes work from home. I love food and coffee, going out for breakfast or brunch, and work out a lot (I lift weights at the gym and do yoga). I'm into holistic living and value nutritious food and a mindful lifestyle. I like having a chat and going out together every now and then, but also value alone-time and doing my own things. I'm pretty independent and would love someone who's like-minded in that regard.
A social housemate who is tidy and respects peoples personal space and requirements. I'm looking for a friendly home environment where we can all socialise, rest, and work happily. I'm a student who works part time and while I like to go out and have a good time I'm happy to respect my home environment and those who are part of it. Usually just like to have a chat during dinner or watch a show in the week, bit livelier on the weekends if I'm not working. Love a good dynamic in the house but also independent and happy for all to do their own thing. If I sound like I fit the space you have to offer, get in touch!
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 12 November. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Hi everyone! I will start my master degree in Rmit and looking for a comfy place for long term stay. 24 yo female from İstanbul. I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. enjoy spending time at home, watching movie but also enjoy going out at weekends. Looking for housemates that will become friends :) Don't have cats but loove them, so if you have it's np for me. Ps: I can move on from 12th of november. Cheers!
Hi, my name is Gabbie. I am looking for a room to move in next month. I tend to be quiet and generally like to do my own thing & wind down after a long day (of classes) at home, so I'm very respectful of others' personal space/quiet time/privacy. I am friendly, easy-going, tidy, & always pay rent on time. Currently studying business at Uni, I'm a night owl but not a party animal. I can't live with cats but I don't mind dogs; even though ideally, I'd like a house without pets. Strictly looking for a non-smoking house. Some of the things that I enjoy the most are music, movies, and good food. Leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you soon, cheers!
Professional, friendly, fit and social. Kiwi working in international business development, communications and marketing. Just moved from NZ, loving Melbourne. Keen to explore bars and great restaurants, looking for positive flatmates with good banter. :-)
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hello lovelies. I'm Annaleigh! I'm a dance teacher by day and well, by night too. I love reading, eating food that I didn't have to make and Netflix binge sessions. But now we've come to the part where I have to sell myself shamelessly. Lets begin. I am super clean! You will never find my stuff laying around or even just around really... I'm pretty quiet, so you don't have to worry about me making a lot of noise. I am a dance teacher though, so there might be the tiniest bit of music being played if I ever have to quickly choreograph from home. Lastly, I'm not going to steal your food and act like I didn't, but I'm also not going to bite your head off if you ever need to borrow some of my stuff. I'm pretty down to share. Please message me if you're interested.
Hey! My name is Jordan and I am looking for somewhere to move in ASAP. I have money ready for a bond and I am pretty flexible on the dates/length of stay. I work full time in Carlton so I am looking for somewhere in the northern suburbs to live. I am sociable and chatty, am always up for a few drinks with mates or doing something interesting when not at work... I try not to take myself too seriously and have a good atmosphere around the house, I am laid back and enjoy being around similar, like-minded people. I like to cook, read & write in my spare time but also head out of the house and try and get about when possible. I respect other people's space and pull my own weight with household stuff as I like to be in a nice space! Hit me up if you have something that can work..!
