Hello guys, There is a wonderful private room in our house. The apartment is located on Victoria Street in East Melbourne, only 15 minutes tram 109 or 12 from the city. There is a shopping centre only 200 metres away and a tram stop right in front of the building. Also, the building as a sauna, gym and swimming pool. I am looking for clean and reliable people. The place is nice and quiet, you will be sharing the apartment with 2 people, you will have your own bathroom. If you think that it will suit you, contact me! Thank you
Heya! I’m a single 25 year old oncology nurse working at the Alfred for the past two years. My style of work is shift work so I’ll be working some weekends and night shift occasionally. In between work I love going to the gym, eating out, catching up with friends and having a wind down drink or two. I’m looking for a house mate that is down to have a chat but also loves personal time. I’m very easy going, like to keep the communal parts of the house clean and love dinner/brunch dates if that’s your thing.
I am from Canada working as an interior designer in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I’m a pretty’s quiet roommate but also like to have a casual drink on a weekend. I’m continuously looking for the best eggs Benedict in town. I’m looking for a flexible living arrangement during the time I’m working in Melbourne.
We both work fulltime, Jack is a Geotechnical Engineer and I am in Recruitment. We don't smoke, no pets, no kids. I will also be completing my Masters part-time at UoM in July. We are clean and neat, but not OCD, we do want to be free to live in the house and not clean obsessively - we have had housemates who have made this an issue. We have lived with others so understand the mix of privacy and friends, we are respectful and easy to get along with. Jack plays AFL and I compete in surf boat rowing. We like to cook our meals, watch movies, and have great banter. Ideally, we have a larger room with an ensuite, furnished is not necessary. We will be needing to get into the city each day so public transport and proximity is important. We aren't allergic to anything but are vegans. We don't have parties, but love a wine and hang out for dinner with friends every now and then.
Hi,I’m interested in the room. 🙂 My name is Betina, I’m 25 years old, from Brazil. I love to travel, watch Netflix, drink some wine, and a beer occasionally. I’m also really peaceful, respectful, clean and tidy. I arrived in Melbourne in january and I’m here to study digital marketing until next year. I work part time and I can move in around Christmas week. Fell free to ask me anything. Best regards.
I'm a school teacher and musician. Looking for a place I can get to the eastern easily and the city. I have a motorbike I need to keep off street and be able to play music at home every now and then.
Hey I'm Richard! I'm a 30yo professional working out of the city. I'll be making a move to Europe by end of March and am looking for a good place preferably close to the city. I'll be super busy but always up for a quiet drink and a chat
Working full time as a software developer / team manager for a company in fitzroy with a very diverse team and looking to live closer to work and the city. I consider myself a quiet and considerate person, and I'm tolerant of other people and their differences. Since I work full time, I need housemates that are not loud late at night (past 12am) on weekdays. I enjoy media of all kinds, both good and bad, so happy to hang out occasionally after work and on weekends and watch a movie or something with a beer (or many if particularly bad). Ideal place would be walking distance to trams 11 96, or maybe 1,6.
I'm 27, work mon-fri (sometimes weekends) as a lawyer in the big ol' cbd. Outside of work im a musician, i'm also a huge foodie, alcohol enthusiast and movie buff. Tidy, respectful, easy going and relatively low footprint. Can assist in bringing bills down - long story.. Anyway, keen to check the place out and see if we get along, i am available to move in asap.
24, Interior Designer. I'm friendly, clean and respectful. Although I am quite social, I like to have my down time. When I'm at home, you'll find me in cooking or baking in the kitchen or on the couch reading a book.
Allo! I am moving to Melbourne at the start of 2019 as I’ll be studying an Advanced Diploma of Music Industry Full-time in Southbank from February onwards. Originally from Adelaide, currently residing in the Gold Coast. I am pretty easy going, sociable and open minded. I enjoy meeting new people, going out, and travelling, but also appreciate my alone time to recharge. I aim to eventually get a part time or casual job on the side of my studies. I love anything to do with music, food, alcohol or exploring new places. I am looking for somewhere clean, simple and interchangeable, with my own room, that has at least a bed to sleep on and somewhere to put my clothes & items. I am flexible with sharing a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and common areas. I don’t mind living with a few people but would prefer not to live in a big share house with 5 or more people as I find this can be quite overwhelming. I also like to cook, listen to a wide range of music, learn to play an instrument, or watch TV. I also have a Car, so some sort of car park is necessary. I am neat, tidy, and respectful of my surroundings and other people’s belongings. I can be quiet and chill, or fun and loud, depending on the occasion and the people I’m with. If I sound like your type of house mate then hit me up! 🤙🏽
I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura
I'm a 23 year old from the country Victoria studying a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with the hopes of joining the Federal Police. I flip burgers and toss salads to pay the bills, while also feeding myself a lot at work. I enjoy the company of people and pets of any kind (living on a farm does that) but when I am working/studying I'm pretty recluse and like to work as hard as possible. I am an avid video gamer, enjoy playing sport (not so much watching it), reading long novels that never seem to finish and going out for a quite Friday night. I like to keep myself and my room clean and respect that fact that I will be sharing a house with others and will gladly pitch in to keep it clean and running (if there is a nice garden I wouldn't mind planting a few veggies to even try and keep the food flowing fresh). Cheers.
Hello, My Situation - I am currently living on the Gold Coast and I will be completing my degree in December. I have landed a job in Melbourne, so I am looking for a new home. A little about me - - I come from a town located near Byron Bay, so I love the beach - I enjoy keeping fit and my sport - I have a trade background and currently moving up in the construction industry with this new job - I am a social bloke that doesn't mind the odd beer now and then, although I am not looking for a party house House mate material - - I am clean, tidy and responsible - I've lived with both genders and have never had an issue - Looking for easy going people to live with If there is anything you want to know feel free to swing me a message, Cheers!
Hey there! I’m Jess a 28 year old kindergarten teacher. Currently in the market for a place that myself and my 7 year old pooch can call home. I work full time hours as a teacher in St Kilda and am looking for somewhere close by as the transit to and from work is killing me at the moment! Would love to move into a place with other social people who are happy to have a drink and a laugh but who are also respectful of quiet nights in. I love to keep healthy and end up at the gym on most nights. I am vegetarian but pretty easy going with others eating meat around me. I love to draw, read, exercise and travel the world on crazy adventures. I have lived in a share house previously so I know what is involved in maintaining a happy household. I am super clean and would preferably like to live with housemates who are similar. I will be moving with my 7 year old staffy who is a big, soft meatball. He is super friendly with other dogs and tolerates cats. He is extremely well behaved, trained and prefers to spend every waking moment with hoomans. I'm pretty keen to move soon so would love to hear from you! :)
My name is Tomas, I'm 24 years old, very laid back and easy going, respectful of those I share my space with, and keep things neat and tidy. I usually keep to myself when at home, and I am often away on the weekends, but I'm also a very social person, and always down for hanging out and chatting over coffee. I'm a fan of all things dorky and nerdy, and I'm always keen to gossip over the latest episode of Game of Thrones (if it ever comes back). I come from a very open-minded and progressive family, and have those ideals of respect and tolerance forged into my soul. I'm very active and ride my bike just about everywhere, so there's no need to worry about accommodating another car. I also love animals of all varieties, and will be very comfortable with any household pets.
Moving to Melbourne in Jan/Feb. I'm a Hairdresser w/ previous share house experience. Pretty easy to live with- happy to hang out and be social but also happy just doing my own thing! I love going to gigs, markets, making art & watching the footy (Carn Pies!). I’m hoping to have secured work before I move if not it then hopefully not soon after. Cheers :)
I’m Will, recently arrived from New Zealand. Finding my feet and looking for a new career challenge/adventure in this incredibly cool city. I’m looking for somewhere friendly, positive and sociable to live. I’m thoughtful, reliable, and independent, valuing my own space and yours. Not a big club/party guy.. like to keep things pretty routined; relaxed during the week, but always up for solving the problems of the world over a glass of good wine, Netflix series or getting out to explore and try new things. I’m really into health and fitness, love healthy eating/ cooking, group fitness, biking, walking and generally active relaxing. I also love coffee and finding markets, events & amazing wholefood cafes. Not adverse to a Netflix binge or good movie either.

I am a Audio Production student in SAE, I'm currently studying in SAE Byron Bay campus. I will transfer to Melbourne for the next school year, starting on the 4th of February. I need a room downtown by the start of February, but I can be there before if needed. I will be Studying or Working most of my time, so I won't be home most of the day. I'm a neat, quiet, respectful housemate. I don't party often. Maybe once or twice a month. Other than studying I like to travel, make music, and take pictures. I think Melbourne is the capital of music at the moment and I really want to explore its nightlife, and music & arts scene.
My Homestay in Abbotsford, is a great apartment for International students or workers wanting a very quiet place to live. Its just a 5 min walk to the tram in Victoria St Richmond ( tram 109) which goes directly to the CBD or to the Collingwood or North Richmond train stations which are a couple of stops from the CBD. There are supermarkets, cafes and shops all close by. I have one large cosy furnished bedroom with its own private bathroom and queen size bed available on January 14th 2019. The rent ($1646 per calendar month) covers all bills and internet. The townhouse has 4 levels with a beautiful rooftop terrace. If you are looking for a peaceful welcoming place this would be perfect. I have travelled a lot in the past and have had students live with me from all over the world for the past 12 years and it has been awesome. I want to provide you with a happy place to relax and study. Hopefully it will feel like a home away from home. I also have a smaller room with double bed and its own bathroom available on the 14th of February for $345 per week ($1495 per month). Smoking is ok on the balcony or rooftop. 6 month minimum stay. No couples. You just need to supply your own food and toiletries. If this sounds like what you are looking for please contact me. ... Cheers... Indi.
Hi! I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm originally from Sydney and am currently working full time in advertising, just outside of the CBD. I enjoy keeping busy and being in the outdoors, so I won't be home much except for weeknights and weekends. I am easy-going, sociable yet respectful and tidy and have flat share experience
