I’m a health professional working in Melbourne looking for a tidy, friendly share house with easy access to Parkville. I keep busy with work, gym and yoga and love to cook and spend weekends at the beach.
I am looking for a private, unfurnished room to move into ASAP: Abbotsford, Collingwood, Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Carlton North, Richmond etc. -Happy to pay up to $250 (more if the place is right). -Must have a parking space (either on street permit or off street). ABOUT ME: I am 23 and work for a pharmaceutical company in Abbotsford, in clinical trials. I like keeping active and am a bit of a yogi, but I also enjoy a good donut or five. Enjoy going on adventures and love trying out new cafes/restaurants. Partial to an espresso martini or two, a good cheese and wine night or a relaxed night in watching Netflix. I also enjoy lying in the sun reading books.....Looking for a house where the housemates enjoy spending time together, but of course also respectful of people's privacy and schedules. I'm neat and tidy and hope you are too. I have lived in share houses for the past five years. Message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to hearing from you :) ALSO: I have a nice modern fridge, a 42in TV, a vacuum and iron/ironing board, that I can bring to the house if needed, but if not can store elsewhere.
We are located just off Victoria st with the Yarra river at the end of the street, offering walking/bike trails and a quiet park space only a moment away. Victoria gardens and Ikea are a 5 minute walk, as are all the restaurants and cafes of Victoria st. Trams 12 & 109 are 50m away, and the 78 down Church to Chapel st is a 5 minute walk, North Richmond train station is 15 minute walk. We are 3km from the CBD, I ride my push bike into the CDB in 10 minutes, Clifton Hill takes me 12 minutes by bike. The house is an old style double fronted villa, clean and tidy however it is an old house, so for those looking for modern apartment style accommodation please take note. We have a large kitchen/dining room, which is the focal point of the house where we hang out and share a yarn and a beer in the evenings. We have a courtyard with a chin up bar, soon to be equipped with an outdoor fire pit, and a front porch we drink coffee on and people watch in the mornings. The room for rent is a large light filled room, North facing (3.5m x 3.1m) it has high ceilings with decorative plaster and a large wardrobe.
I've just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to call home, not a house to live in. I'm friendly, bubbly, energetic and enjoy having fun with friends. I'm tidy and respectful of others personal space. I love exercising and looking forward to exploring the sites and culinary delights of Melbourne on weekends, as I work full time Monday to Friday in Sales.
Hey, I'm Josh and I am 22 - Moved from NZ just over 2 years ago - Currently working at a pasta restaurant (free pasta 4 u) but hoping to get back into the automotive industry ASAP. - Friendly, - Tidy and respectful - Social - Good dancer
We have just moved here from NZ, Jesse is a sparky and I am a Psychology and Neuroscience masters grad. We are both starting jobs here in Melbourne and are just excited to be here. I love to paint, cook, and drink red wine. Jesse loves sports, whisky, and new things (broad but true). We like to chill during the week, cook, watch Netflix, hang out. On weekends we like music and having a good time. We own our own home in NZ and I am a bit of a cleaning machine. We love music; rock, blues, etc. We just want to live with fun positive people who want to be our friends.
This 10th floor apartment is just off Victoria Street, right between the vibrant Richmond and Abbotsford areas. Tram routes 109 and 12 are less than a 5 minute walk away, and will take you right to the city, and to St Kilda if you fancy a beach trip. In the other direction, suburbs like Hawthorn and Box Hill are very accessible. The apartment block has its own gym and 25m pool, but there are plenty of other sporting options in the area such as commercial gyms, dojos, and pilates studios. There’s no shortage of restaurants and cafes if you like to eat out, and there is a Coles and IGA a short walk away. The apartment itself is quite modern, with a large balcony overlooking the Yarra River. Your bedroom is 2.7 x 2.8 m, and should comfortably fit a bed and desk. It has a generous built in wardrobe, and a huge window which gives it a lot of natural light and a homely feel. As I have an ensuite, you will effectively have your own modern bathroom. Some cool features: -- Air conditioner -- Washing machine, dryer -- Sofa bed (friends and family are welcome to visit) -- Dishwasher -- Lots of fridge space -- Fibre-to-premises NBN -- Lots of natural light and airflow -- We only have one car spot which I use but we may be able to organise another one -- We can discuss move-in date/stay length
I work full-time on site. I am chirpy and social but I give people the personal space required. I keep my room and my house very clean. I enjoy cooking for people once in a while to make them smile :).

I also love to go out for a drink or meal or chill it home enjoying a meal together or binge watching Netflix. Im a clean person and will tidy up after myself. I'm respectful of personal space and items but am happy to share things like food etc. ! Ben
My name is Sarah and I'm currently looking for a share house in the inner city area. I am a Account Manager for a publishing company and work pretty standard hours. I've lived in share houses for years so I am house trained and always keep communal areas tidy. I have previously lived in Abbotsford so pretty keen to get back there or to a suburb pretty close. I really love socialising with my friends, boozey lunches and heading out to the pub but also love an occasional lazy Saturday night in. I generally keep reasonably quiet during the week and head to the gym or yoga most nights or catch up with friends or family. I enjoy having a drink and socialising with my housemate but also will be out a fair bit and respect peoples personal space. I'm also flexible with move in dates.
Hi, we're looking for a third house preferably in their late 20's+ to join us at our place in Abbotsford situated between Richmond & Collingwood and close by to Fitzroy. The bedroom is huge! with BIR and lots of natural light. The kitchen is also very big, has plenty of storage and is perfect for cooking. Its probably wasted on me as I work a lot but if you enjoy cooking you will get on very well with Nicky who loves to cook. The private rooftop which is massive is a unique space and gets sunlight all day long. Perfect for hanging out on weekends and evenings. There is also easy access to public transport with Collingwood train station and the nearest tram stop both less than 100m away. — Rent is $1125 p/m approx $260 P/W + Bills. — Bond is 1 months rent — Room is available now for a long term stay only of 9 months+ and we're unable to accommodate couples unfortunately. — Bills are split equally at $100 a month each which covers Internet, Electricity, Gas, Water etc Please note, the property is situated on Hoddle Street. For some people this can be a bit of turnoff with the traffic outside but inside the house is very quiet with minimal noise coming in through the bedrooms.
I'm 30 years old and am looking for a new place Northside, to call home. I am studying Jewellery Design at Melb Polytechnic in Fairfield and work for a Melbourne based chocolate company, with the occasional shift in coffee. I do a bit of yoga and enjoy riding my bicycle. I listen to tragic disco records and am constantly thinking about food. I like a homely house but also my own space, so sometimes housemate hangs are always welcomed especially over a bottle of wine.
Hi There, I am looking for some friendly new housemates as my lease is coming up! I tend to be out of the house a lot but love a nice space to live in and up for a chat over dinner/wine/tea/coffee with housemates when everyone is around. I work full time in the cbd for a tech company so a spot near public transport is ideal! Feel free to message for any more info :)
I'm a 23 year old (almost 24), originally from Brisbane, who is a considerate housemate who pays his bills, rent and gives people space when they need. I like to clean as I go although I'm not OCD about it. Most of my days are spent either at work, uni or the gym. That is not to say that I don't enjoy company and a good old chat. Hopefully we can also become friends rather than just two people who share bills. Currently, I study a bachelor of film and television, full-time at Swinburne and also have a permanent part-time job at a private health insurer, both of which I've been doing for almost 3 years. I'm also vegan and have been living with housemates for over year, who aren't but that hasn't been a problem for me. When I'm not doing the above, I'm usually watching something on Netflix or Youtube, hanging out with friends or going to cafe for coffee/brunch.
Hi there, Looking for someone to fill the second bedroom in my two bedroom townhouse/apartment in Abbotsford. The house is on Trenerry Crescent, and is a convenient two minute walk to Dr Morse, Lulie Street Tavern, Admiral Chen Ho, Rita's (best pizza in Melbourne), and IGA (for late night snacks). For bigger, less expensive grocery shopping the Woolworths on Nicholson street is also walkable distance, as well as all goodies on Johnson, Smith and Gertrude Streets. Victoria Park (Abbotsford) train station, runs about every 6 minutes, is a convenient 2 minute walk from the house, and takes about 10 minutes into Flinders street. There is also a bus stop on the corner of Hoddle Street and Johnson Street, admittedly I don't know the specific routes, but there’s a couple that go into the city and various other places if that sounds like something you need... The house is well kept (see pictures) with a nice aspect from the living room area and balcony which overlooks Victoria Park. Depending on the time of the day, you can watch the footballers train or the puppies play. About the house... Two bedrooms (both double with built in robes), two bathrooms and fully furnished, except for your room, with modern appliances throughout. In short, you’ll have your own bedroom and bathroom which you’re free to make your own. If you're in need of a bed/mattress/desk my soon to be former housemate may be able to help you out. Looking for someone to move in on the 20th of June. Rent is also due on the 20th of each month and is $1150 excluding bills. The successful applicant will need to go on the lease, cover the bond $1560 as well as the lease transfer fee which is $220. If this looks/sounds like something you might be interested in, send me a message with a little bit about yourself and we can go from there! Hopefully get to meet some of you soon! Sorry, no couples. And no dogs :(
