The property is an older style cottage and kind of quirky. It's clean and comfortable and has quite a large back yard with a veggie patch and a gazebo. I'd say the room is medium sized. It currently has a single bed and chest of drawers but these can be removed. You could also fit a double bed easily. There are two birds (budgies) living here also who are fairly friendly and come out of the cage from time to time. The house is located near some very nice restaurants and cafes. Coles is also very close. The bus stop for the city bound bus is about 3 mins walk away (takes around 40-50 mins) otherwise North Strathfield station is about 15 mins walk away and train to city from there is about 20 mins. I don't have a car so the parking space in the driveway is free to use.
Hi :) I’m Vanessa, 24 years old. I have a Masters in International Economics and Finance and am moving to Sydney as I just got offered a corporate job. I’ll be working full time but love socialising, meeting new people and exploring but also like to wind down, relax and have a glass of wine after those long days. I pride myself in being a very clean housemate and also extremely understanding of people/their needs and aware of her surroundings. Between full time work, gym, dancing, going out to the beach and exploring new bars and restaurants, i’ll be out of the house quite a bit. However, when I am not doing all of that I enjoy cooking and watching netflix with some good ol ice cream. I am looking for a rental/existing share house becoming available somewhere around mid/late January. Would like to find like minded housemates to make a home and enjoy Sydney with.
Fun loving Sales and Marketing Gay Guy in IT. Pretty accommodating when in a sharing environment, within reason. Like a nice balance of home shared interaction and personal time. During the week I'm usually fairly chilled after work with the weekends being a good mix of socialising and/or relaxing. Not an every weekend partier but don't mind to turn it up every so often. Currently in Melbourne but moving back to Sydney Dec 19/Jan 20.
Great place. Great price. Great housemates. Great everything. The available bedroom is large; approximately 3.6 square meters. Fits the usual furniture such as a double or queen size bed, desk, wardrobe, etc. etc. The house is insulated; cool in summer and warm in winter. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a home cinema with a 3 meter wide screen, seating for 6... and we can squeeze in more as need be. :) There's a Tiki-bar inspired second living area/TV room with comfy vintage furniture and popcorn machine. There's also a big dining area. We have Netflix etc., plus a great physical library of movies. There are two bathrooms with toilets, one with a bath and the other with a shower and internal laundry. The backyard is huge, private and paved, so it is low maintenance. There's also a big gas BBQ! Strathfield Station is about an 8 minute walk. Shopping needs are close at hand as well as the big concert and sporting venues. If you wish to go to the city for work or fun, there is an express train every couple of minutes and the trip takes about 10 mins. If you need to head out to Parramatta, it too, is only 10 minute train ride. We seek someone relaxed, responsible, reliable and house-trained. We laugh a lot, so, a sense of humor is necessary!
Hey there! I'm an easy going guy. I have a very busy work schedule, if I'm not working I'll be relaxing or hanging with my girlfriend. I cook, clean and mostly keep to myself but I'm always keen for a chat. My only burden is I have a person car and a company car. So I would require some form of car space. Drop me a line! Adam.
My project requires few months stay in Sydney. I am from melbourne, easy going, mostly at work or watching TV. Like to cook once in a while so clean kitchen and good car parking is a must. Only interested in private quite, clean rooms or apartments. Don't mind occasional BBQ or sharing wine. I am a medical engineer. Cheers
