I like to read and am passionate about the enviroment and conservation so naturally love the outdoors. I work for the ACT government in belconnen so ideally looking for something close by open to anywhere in Canberra Im clean and love being part of a team. I appreciate my alone time but also love socializing. Dont mind a cheeky beer and am often away on weekends camping.
I'm a design student at ANU. I like going for walks, making stuff and am always up for a chat. I'm looking for somewhere inhabited by real people within 30min of ANU. I also miss my garden when I'm in Canberra, so trees are a must.
House-trained final year medical student (this means: busy most days (at least) 9-5, studying most nights, keen to have company over meals when that works out). Financially secure (I have a scholarship and work part time). I've lived all over Australia, enjoy meeting people, cooking, conversation, the odd glass of wine. Looking for quiet household where I can study and relax. I like outdoorsy things (hiking, cycling, water sports) when time permits. Happy to live with those who value privacy and prefer to do their own thing but equally flexible and enjoy social interaction with housemates during downtime.
3rd year ANU student who is sociable, respectful and easy to get along with. Worked in hospitality for 9 months, so I know how to keep a place clean and tidy. I'm into playing sport, cooking, crime fiction, card / board games, and chill drinks with friends. Not a party animal. Accepting of people from all backgrounds. Looking for a place within cycling distance of Civic / ANU. I can move in whenever but would prefer to do so before mid February. If interested, I'd be keen to meet for coffee or something to see if we'd get along.

Current full time student who is in their final year of University. Will be studying Industrial Design at the University of Canberra in 2019. Super easy going individual who is very clean, easy going, relaxed and respectful. I’ve lived out of home for 4 years now so I’m all to familiar with living with others and being respectful of their belongings and space, cleaning, cooking etc. Would ideally like to move in with people around my age and with who I would consider friends rather than just house mates. Do enjoy a sneaky casual drink and a night out occasionally. Would be pretty keen on exploring Canberra in my time there and potentially go snowboarding in the surrounding resorts. Honestly just want to make fun memories with cool people in 2019. I will be moving from Newcastle to Canberra and am currently looking to find a place with myself and a mate who also studies the same course in his final year. Ideally somewhere relatively close to the University if possible. My friend (Jarrod) will be away most of the week so it would be nice to have other house mates to hang out with. Flexible on the amount of extra people in the house. Happy to move in with someone who already has a house or pair up with someone and look for a house all together!
My name is Aaron, I’m 18 and a student at the University of Canberra. I have enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Psychology which i’ll start in February. I’m an easy going guy that gets along with almost everybody, and is considerate and respectful of others. I’m generally quiet and i appreciate keeping things clean and tidy (especially in the Kitchen!). I don’t require much, and i’m generally pretty flexible. I’ve had some experience living in a couple of sharehouses around Canberra in the past year, which has taught me how to live harmoniously with others and has also provided me with amazing friends. I’m always keen to check out a live gig or have an occasional bevvy, and i always enjoy meeting new and intriguing people. I enjoy watching films and i work in New Acton at Palace electric cinema, where i’ve been for the past year or so. I’m looking for something more stable and secure, with some brilliant people. Hopefully before University starts back up in February this year. Cheers!
I’m a postdoc at the ANU, doing research in threatened species conservation. Outside of work, my interests include climbing, yoga, riding my bike, swing dancing, camping, hiking... I’ve been in Canberra a couple of years now (previously Melbourne and other places). I consider myself a considerate, clean house mate. I go to bed relatively early through the week (as I get up early) so looking for a quieter home but also one that’s friendly and open to kitchen chats etc :)
The house burnt down in 2004 and was rebuilt to modern standards , new windows , insulated exterior walls and all that comes with new houses ! It is large ( 220 sq mt) 4 bedroom 2 bath , living , dinning , family and office . It has gas central heat , gas hot water and LED lighting . It’s only shortage is it doesn’t have a garage , it does have a large garden shed . It’s centrally located and you can be in Belconnen or the city in 30 minutes on a bike ! It’s on a direct bus route to the city or belconnen . It’s adjacent to the mount painter reserve . It’s a very comfortable house in a nice street in a nice suburb !
I'm an easy-going, friendly chick who loves good food and good company. I love music, nature, and socialising, and am looking for a place I can call home for a while. I've just moved back to Canberra and am working full time in Acton, so would like to find a place that is convenient and close to work.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
I’m a 24 year working at an organic grocer and studying psychology. I’m vegan (but don’t mind what others eat), love dogs a lot, bushwalks, gigs, making things, etc. I’m friendly and clean up after myself, pay bills on time and am respectful of others space but like to be sociable with housemates too. I’m looking for a light filled place and a garden with nice people ☺️
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
I am a very sociable person (but fall well short of being a party animal). I've just finished my degree, and having spent 3.5 years as a student, I know the value of privacy for both myself and others. I don't smoke, nor do I use recreational drugs, and I only drink sporadically. I'm a reasonably tidy person who is more than happy to help out with housework. I love football (both playing and watching), gaming, and watching classic-era Simpsons in my spare time.
Cosy three bedroom one bathroom house with a lovely garden. Fully furnished but if you prefer bedroom can be unfurnished. Great backyard with vege patch and resident blue tongue lizard. convenient location three minute walk from bus stop and 15 minutes bus to Any and city.
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and going for runs. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
I’m a recent graduate which is hoping to find reasonable priced housing In Canberra. (Not an easy task, mind you) I am easy going, fun, and flexible. But more importantly, I’m a bit of a neat freak, I’m very responsible, and am known to be reliable. I spend my time either working at one of my jobs, through the day I am working in education, and through the evening you’ll either find me playing Soccer or training TO play soccer. I’m very excited to see what is out there. Message me if you have any further questions.
Hey! I have just moved from WA to Canberra for work this year in the APS, pretty flexible for living arrangements and pretty laid back. I am very social but absolutely appreciate time to myself and am good at respecting others and their time and privacy. I am neat, clean, and self reliant, and would expect that of my house mates. However I do not mind pitching in and being a team player. I love pets, have no known allergies. Looking to meet people and socialise, if I sound like a good fit for what you’re looking for don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 27 year old sports biomechanist moving over to Canberra from Perth to work at the AIS at the start of February. I've spent the last 10 years at uni, so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. Given I'm moving across the country, I'm looking for a furnished room (preferably not a single bed). The location of any potential house doesn't really bother me, as long as it's in Canberra. I'd be after a housemate or housemates that are easy to get along with and share a space with. Unsurprisingly (given my profession) I am a bit of sport nut. I also love music, food, and the odd drink. I’m easy going and happy to socialise but am also fine with keeping my own company. I’m clean and tidy and definitely don’t mind helping out with housework when it’s needed.
Hi!! I'm Rylee, and I'm starting my 4 year degree at UC this Feb. I am an outgoing and fun person to be around who gets along with anyone! I'm looking for people who i can have a little fun with but also be able to respect each others privacy and time to themselves.
We are tidy, considerate and also enjoy our food. We have both previously shared houses before so we know what it is like to live with others. We are moving interstate from Tasmania to study at the University of Canberra and work, we are needing a place to stay to get us on our feet and look for our own place. We have one car between us, a place near the uni would be preferred but we are flexible :-)
I'm an international student and currently studying at the University of Canberra. I've lived in Australia for 5 years now and planning to stay here to pursue my career. I'm clean, tidy and easy going. I enjoy getting to know new friends and making great memories in my stay :)
I’m originally from Sydney but am moving to Canberra for work. I am clean and tidy and very respectful as a housemate. I am also very relaxed and easygoing. 🙂 Single, 27, female, professional, non smoker.
Hello there! I’m moving to Canberra to study at UC next year and am looking for a room in a share house around $150p/w. I’m planning on driving across from Perth late Jan but am happy to start paying rent earlier so I have a place to go when I arrive haha. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. I would love to find a house where she can stay inside during that day because I don’t reckon her short hair and slim frame will lend itself to the frigid winters. I’ll be studying full time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. Thanks!!
I’m heading back to study part time and looking for a place to rent that won’t send me broke! Most days I'm usually up early to hit the gym and work keeps me busy during the day. My party days a loooong behind me but I enjoy catching up with friends for the occasional Friday night drinks, BBQ or girls night (which are never big nights). I also enjoy a chilled out night on the couch (binge) watching Netflix too. The kitchen is one of my happy places - I like getting creative with my cooking and baking. I like to do lake walks and brunch on the weekends. I thought I would give the share house thing a go - might give me a chance to do some solid saving over the year (for more holidays!) and get to meet some friendly new people along the way. Bec
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra from India. I'll be studying IT at UC. I like meeting and getting along with new people! I've a passion for travel photography! Looking to share a flat with other easy going people!
If you don't mind having a clean, quiet, respectful housemate, contact me without hesitation! I stay mostly at school during weekdays and love playing outdoor sports on weekends. About me: I am a final year Software Engineering student studying full-time at ANU.
I'm a psychology student moving up from Melbourne and working part time. I am looking for a place to call home for the year. I'm looking for a cosy, homely, green, and calm living space to share, preferably close to University of Canberra. Things I find myself doing often/ hoping to see myself doing often: yoga, reading, writing, spontaneous journeying, gardening, drumming, silent musing, cycling, looking at food recipes, going on irrelevant tangents. I'm not that loud nor like drink-brandishing parties and generally prefer interesting connections and conversations.
Hey! I'm from Melbourne, moving to Canberra to start working full-time as a graduate within the public sector. I enjoy playing and watching sport. I can keep to myself, but happy to spend time with roommates. I clean up after myself and am happy to help out with chores. Message me for further information.
From the Gold Coast originally, I’m looking for a room to rent from Mar-Jun 2019 so I may complete my final semester of undergraduate studies at the ANU. Friends describe me as easygoing, quiet and respectful. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks!
I've almost finished up at uni (ANU) and I'm working full time as a town planner. I'm interested in a room in a house or apartment that is within a reasonable cycle of the city (I don't have a car, so I don't need parking!) I am a pretty social person so i'm always keen for a chat and to hang out, but if its a quiet house that is fine too. I don't mind maintaining a yard and I obviously will be happy to do my share of chores. I like to cook so I am definitely interested in being involved in meal sharing arrangements, but again I am not bothered if things don't work that way. My hobbies include cycling, hiking, politics, board games, watching the AFL and a bit of handy crafts.
Hi there! I am pretty quiet, tidy, I have plenty of hobbies and I'll stay out of your hair. That said, I am friendly and I love board games and card games. I like to garden and paint, and procrastinate doing my assignments by cleaning. I find steady work in childcare and am studying to be a teacher. If you need someone to give you henna tattoos or proofread your work, I'm your girl. I know three dogs sounds like a lot, but they are basically canine cats and sleep about 18 hours a day. They are exceptionally low maintenance and cuddly, and I clean up after them. Looking for some form of accomodation in Canberra that doesn't mind pugs and has a backyard :)
Hello, My name's Dave and I've just moved to Canberra as a graduate health professional. I'm friendly, easy to get along with and have travelled a lot around the world, so have plenty of stories! I've also lived in a lot of share houses over the years, so am clean, considerate and respectful. Cheers, Dave
We're moving into an empty house so we won't have everything up and running until the 7th (ish) but viewings can start from the 25th Jan. We'll also put photos up then (that's when we get the keys to the house). The rooms are both decent sized with built ins. The house is pretty large so there's room for anything you want to bring with you and the backyard is pretty large as well. There's also a separate study and a bunch of living space to spread out and cram. Just down the road is a bus stop for the number 40 bus which runs pretty close to UC and stops at Barry Drive (right next to ANU). The house is just around the corner from Jamison Centre and within walking distance from the Macquarie shops.
