Hey! My name's Ana, and I'm moving to the Gold Coast at the end of November on a Working Holiday visa! I love to surf and skate! I'm laid back, but still neat and clean :) and efficient on bills and rent. The biggest thing I look for in a roommate is communication. It just makes things a lot easier. I'd prefer to become friends with whoever I'm living with! That will also make living a lot easier :) Going out for a couple beers is cool, just not a huge partier. Just as long as I can surf and skate I'm a happy camper!
We are a laid back couple who love to spend our free time at the beach and enjoy some food and drinks. We respect privacy but also love to exchange stories and meet new people. We are looking to move as soon as possible so please give us a shout if you're interested in living with us :) Cheers, Jan and Tessa
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
I'm Brazilian, 29 years old, lawyer, but I came to Australia for new challenges at work, to Improve the learning of the English language, and all experience the extraordinary Australian culture and exuberant nature local. I arrived at Australia this week, with my “Working holiday visa”, and I’m working full-time. Interests: Surf, cycling, run, outdoor sports, gastronomy, travel.
Hi! Im a 24 year old female, ive just moved up here from Tassie & am working fulltime in elanora. I consider myself to be a very chill person, love being outside and exploring, cooking, reading a good book & the occasional weekend out. Hoping to find like minded housemates around the same age, that can help me adjust to the lifestyle change! I also have a cat that will need to move with me. He is a 7 yr old moggy who has always been an outside cat but since moving up here seems to prefer inside, so you would need to be ok with him inside, he is very friendly and sleeps in ny room of a night. Im a clean and considerate housemate and always do my fair share of the cleaning, I am super flexible on the location of where I will be living.
You want to live with me because: - I work full time so I'm rarely at home and have reliable income - I am a non smoker so I won't stink up your place with cigarette smoke - I am clean and tidy - I love animals and children but I don't have any - I am easy to talk to and am always up for a evening movie hang in the loungroom - I drink but only socially so won't be partying on in your place - you can use my Netflix and Stan accounts 😉
My apartment is only 200m from Kirra Beach and close to all the great restaurants and cafe Kirra has to offer! There is a swimming pool in the building and the apartment has a large balcony overlooking the gardens of the building. The apartment is mostly furnished, you will just need to furnish your bedroom. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom. All bills are included in the rent :)
We are both very easy going and love to meet new people. We just had a share house in Coolangatta, and we learned how to keep our mess in our own room when 4 girls share one bathroom... All jokes aside, we are tidy, respectable and absolutely love this area, and hope there is two available rooms to rent! We're always wanting to have a good conversation and also experience as much as we can whilst being here, so if you are somewhat similar to that, I'm sure will get along great!
I am working full time and will be moving to Tweed Heads at the end of December. Looking for a female house mate for 1 year or maybe more. I'm neat and tidy, non-smoker, and no pets. I keep to myself most of the time and am friendly and easy to get along with. Would like someone who is also the same. Originally from Melbourne. I like to play the piano, read and spend time outdoors.
G'day, Sare are and I are met at Uni in Sydney. We lived there for 3 years and most recently Melbourne for a year, and are moving up to start working at the Tweed Heads Hospital. We don't start till January but would jump on a lease anytime if the house hit the spot! I'm a Kiwi (I won't gloat about the All Blacks that often, promise) and Sarah is a Brissie local looking forward to coming back home(ish) after gallavanting through the other capital cities. We are an easy-going couple who have both lived in sharehouses of all sorts for a number of years - we aren't too fussy but are looking to be in a reasonable place now we finally have an income. Ideally we'd live with people who are keen to be mates and yarn at home, however understand that not everyone wants that set up and that's ok too. We are both into our outdoors activities, health and fitness and also checking out the local cafe/food/bar scene! The former was a bit tougher in Melbourne, and the latter too easy - so looking to get that balance perfect this year! We are both amped to live near the beach and love hitting th Tom is a bit of an NBA/Rugby/Cricket addict, so if you are into any of those that is a bonus! Also looking to start a few projects at home like brewing beer, so there may be some free frothies for you. Sarah is a massive pet lover so living with pets would be a bonus, not a hindrance! We like to think we are pretty tidy people who like a relaxed but well kept space so can assure you we'll take care of and respect any space we share with others. Happy to have a yarn about anything in particular, get in touch if we sound like your cup of tea and we'll go from there!
Hi!! We are a couple traveling from Chile to Australia with a Work And Holiday Visa. We like to keep our apartment clean and organized. We are a happy and easy going couple.
Hey, I'm Hannah. I'm looking for an awesome person to team up with and get our own place together. I would love to live in Palm Beach as close to the water as possible! I have a whole house full of furniture so you would only need to worry about your bedroom. I have 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs too. I love being outdoors and doing things such as yoga, swimming, hiking, reading, art, MUSIC (my favourite) and so much more. I care about healthy eating and looking after my body. I love to laugh and have fun. I'm clean, respectful and honest. If you'd like to get a place together message me and we can catch up for coffee :)

I'm an easy going person and I can get along with anyone. I'm clean and respectful and soon to be a student pilot so won't be making much noise either. Don't know much about the area since I've lived on the south coast all my life but I'm quite excited to see the area and make some friends along the way.
Hey, my names Lizzy! I currently reside in Canberra, ACT but I'm eager to move up North where the sun actually shines! I'm an extremely easy going and open minded person, I love yoga and am studying towards becoming an instructor of some kind! (my own business ventures in the making) so living by the water is necessary for me right now! I do love and cherish my own space alot as I'm a bit of an introvert but I do thoroughly enjoy a kind wine, smoke n chat occasionally too. I have a little cat, Akira, which I know may be a problem, finding a place will be hard so if your in a similar sitch then hit me up :) Would love to hear from you!
Hi we are a late 20s Cpl looking for something a little different in our flatmate being that you maybe be a nudist already or you are comfortable being naked around the house with your flatmates. In saying that we are clothed half of the time at home & when we have friends over. Any questions on this matter just ask we are very open. So anyways we have 1 room for rent at $ 130 a week in a older house plus 1/3 in bills. We live in a nice quiet street opposite a park & gym at the end of the street. Have a balcony for summer BBQs. Both shopping areas of Tweed & Coolangatta are within walk distance shops, beach etc. We don't party to much these days, but we still like to have a drink now & then. Both work full time jobs. We also have a 4 months old puppy who is well behaved surprisingly. Thanks for reading our ad.

I am a professional doctor/business owner and like to live between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I work in Brisbane where I live between 2 properties but love to stay on the Gold Coast mainly to surf, usually Sat to Tuesday. I would be interested in doing a swap, a room in Brisbane (Red Hill or Bowen Hills) for a room on the Gold Coast near a good surf break. My 2 properties are 1million plus properties on the top of Bowen Hills and one on the top of Red Hill. I rent these on airbnb. My properties are fully furnished.
Hi there! I have a room available for rent in my 2 bedroom apartment on Kirra Beach. The room has a queen-size bed, built-in wardrobes and a private balcony. You will have your own ensuite bathroom. The price is all-inclusive so electricity is covered. The apartment complex is right across the street from the beach so you'll have ocean views. The building has a pool, heated spa, tennis court, sauna and gym. It is also very close to the Kirra restaurants, bars and shops. You would be sharing with a male, professional, in his 30's, who is away at least 3 nights per week. Cheers
