Hi! I’m American and a dual citizen living in Australia for 14 years, and in Cairns for the past 7 off and on. I’ve just returned from living overseas for a couple years and have brought my American husband back with me. We are looking for a place for approximately 3-6 months while we get established and prepare to purchase our own property here. I will be working full-time in social work/counselling (sometimes remotely from home) and Zach will be studying some short courses to transition to a career in mining (previously in education and construction). We value a space more than anything that is very clean and tidy. We are social drinkers and enjoy going out with my established group of friends in Cairns, but prefer to keep our home a quieter place of peace. We enjoy hiking, weekend camping trips, the beach and adventurous travel whenever we can (just finished a Perth to Cairns road trip in our ute rooftop tent). We are social but also enjoy our own down time at home. I am very experienced in share house life both as a tenant and a landlord. Look forward to meeting you!
