The spare room is a large double bedroom on the ground floor with two windows and is well lit. The house has a big backyard with a paved courtyard area as well as a grassed yard. There are two large living spaces downstairs and a large lounge room and informal dining area upstairs as well as a study. Very spacious, clean and airy 2 bedroom apartment situated on a reasonably quiet street in a very well maintained, secure complex. Through the trees you can catch glimpses of the Harbour Bridge and Double Bay. Separate kitchen and living room with adjoining dining space. Two balconies. Internal laundry. Communal garden area with washing lines and visitor parking spaces. All areas (other than the bedroom) are fully equipped, however there is space should you wish to add your own items/personal touches. Transport is literally a stone's throw away, just a few mins walk to Military Road where buses can be found heading in all directions quite frequently. Approx 10-15 mins journey to the city. Take your pick of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. With regard to the bedroom it question, it is cosy, of medium sized with a single door built in wardrobe and opens out onto a shared enclosed balcony which is currently used as a clothes drying/storage area. The room currently houses a queen sized bed, side table and dresser. You would have sole use of the main bathroom next door to your bedroom which is of decent size and consists of a toilet, vanity unit, separate shower and bath tub. Bills are gas (water only), electricity and internet (unlimited). All bills are halved and paid when due (gas and electricity quarterly and internet monthly). The only other additional cost would be a contribution or rotated purchase of communal cleaning products as and when necessary. Ideally I'm looking for someone who leads a similar lifestyle to myself and appreciates an adult home environment. I am respectful of other people and property so naturally expect the same in return. A bit cliché yes, but someone honest, reliable and trustworthy. Generally a happy, friendly and sociable person who is happy to have a chat, laugh and maybe a vino along the way.
