Hello! I'm Beth, I'm 30 years old and I am a musician, AV tech and aspiring fullstack web developer. My partner, Aleks is 28 and is starting his career in marine science. He is also a qualified Divemaster. We both have work lined up in Sydney, based at the harbour. We are currently living in Cairns but we're moving down to Sydney at the start of October for work and to explore a new place! We're looking at around 3 months stay but can make it a bit shorter or longer if needed. Aleks will be leaving to work in Indonesia early January and I have to be gone by Jan 26th as my visa will be up! So that will be the maximum time. We both like to keep healthy and feel good (we're not always great at it but we're keen!). We're fairly early risers and like to get a good night's sleep. We practice acroyoga (keen beginners), I practice and teach aerial yoga (I have my silks with me so if there's a potential rigging point at home, all housemates VERY welcome to hang/practice whenever you like of course!). Other interests include: comedy improv, learning new things, chilling at home, exploring the great outdoors, singing (not very well...)... We don't have pets but I would LOVE to be in a house with a dog/cat/chicken/pony :D I eat plant-based but am totally fine being in a meat-eating house. I don't judge other people's eating habits, I appreciate it when people don't judge mine either :) Aleks is a card-carrying omnivore. I do need to practice my instruments (recorder and clarinet) but I am very respectful of quiet times and make an effort to play when I'm not disturbing other people. There is also a chance that I would be able to do most of my personal practice at an alternative location if preferred. We're ideally looking for a bills-inclusive price to avoid surprises. Taking over the whole upper floor, it's got fantastic views and is peaceful and quiet, whilst being only an 8 minute ferry journey to the CBD. There’s a great sized living area with a huge comfy sofa and dining table table. Balcony views over the harbour including Sydney Harbour Bridge. The kitchen has new appliances - washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc. Good pressurised shower in the bathroom and a bathtub too. The room is a decent size and can accommodate a couple easily. It has a chest of drawers, bed side table and wardrobe for hanging space. Short term stays also welcome.
