My name's Dominic, a 29-y.o., young professional who has a three-week posting in North Sydney, beginning from Wednesday 19 September. I'm quiet, clean, easygoing, and absolutely no hassle. My job has offered to rent me an apartment for my time in Sydney but I would prefer to live with locals, as it would be great to get to know the city more intimately while I'm there. While I'm likely to be very busy during the week, my weekends would be relatively free and I'd love to share a meal or a glass of wine with whoever I live with. Outside of work I'm a writer, and will try to get to readings and literary events whenever I can. If you think I sound like a fun person to live with for a few weeks, I'd love to hear from you!
Room is 4 x 4m Rent is $230 per week, paid fortnightly. $450 bond. The room comes with its own foxtel box + platinum pack, which is included with rent Internet is included with rent. Short walk to St Leonards station and Crows Nest shops. Easy going, Friendly household
Teacher, writer, philosopher, scholar and inspirational cartoonist. Friendly but quiet. Non smoker. Love animals and vegan :-) Sincere and reliable. Am environment conscious and believe that people sharing a space should clean up after. Very light cooking. Cheers, SR
Luke and I are neuroscientists looking to move to Sydney from Brisbane as we will be studying medicine next year. We are both super passionate about what we do. We are very tidy and like things to be kept clean. Socializing and having fun is a must but we also like our space as we will be very busy studying most of the time. I am a very good cook and can fix just about anything.
Active 36 year old working professional within IT management, therefore I work during the week. For my standard week I enjoy exercising most days and cooking, during the weekend I enjoy catching up with friends. I love travel which I do a fair bit of both personally and professionally. Non-smoker
Hi, I'm Jason, 27 and work full-time as a marketing manager in the IT industry. I'm looking to move around the Lane Cove/St. Leonards area in Jan/Feb 2019, as my current lease is ending. My hours can be on the longer side, so tend to decompress when I am home - though a social introvert, I'm always up for a bit of a chat :) Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym most evenings, cycling, boxing, music, art, and spending time out with friends. I can fully furnish a place, owning the following: KITCHEN: - Fridge - Appliances - Cookware etc. LOUNGE ROOM: - TV - Shelving - Coffee table - Couch DINING: - 6 seat dining table - Dining sets LAUNDRY: - I do not currently own a washing machine or dryer as these are provided in my current lease, but I would be open to purchasing if you do not own one. Though I am pretty flexible on furniture if you also own some. Ideally looking for someone employed full-time or a mature student, who also shares a clean-as-you-go mentality and respects each other's privacy.
I'm a marketing professional working in Manly, with a little cavoodle named Ruby. She's very friendly and will happily give cuddles to anyone. I love living a healthy lifestyle, seeing friends, walking Rubes, baking (delicious) cookies, reading and watching movies and/or tv shows. I'm always up for a chat, but also am great at giving people space when needed! Pretty much a friendly ball of down to earth human that is looking forward to this next new stage of life :) Samara
I'm a single guy from England and have lived in Sydney for over 7 years now. I work full-time in the financial services industry and so work a normal job with normal hours - except for the fact I can work from home 2 days a week. When not working, I'm pretty laid back and can usually be found engrossed in a good book, watching a movie/binge watching a TV series, or messing around on my computer (bit of a geek at heart!). I'm content in my own company and respectful of others' privacy, but am equally happy to hang out with my housemates and put the world to rights after a long day.
We are a couple from Hungary, on our working holiday visa, and we need a place to stay for only two weeks from 29th September till 13-15th October.
I’m an incredibly easy going guy. I love to socialise and be around people! Music is my passion so I spend most my time either listening or going to gigs. I like my room and place to clean but don’t mind a few crumbs. The outdoors is a big love of mine as well wether going to the beach or blue mountains etc. I do like to have a drink some evenings and go out on a weekend if I have time. I also like to go to the gym and keep fit! If you think you could get along with me then let me know! I would prefer to live on a mixed gender place if possible.
Easy going, social and clean. I am a snowboarder who has just starting to get into surfing and loving it. Originally a plumber from the UK, lived in the french alps on and off and then Canada for a year. Have been in Sydney for a year now on a sponsorship working as a pool technician. Currently on the northern beaches and looking to move to the north shore to be closer to work
University student from Belgium, graduating in April 2019, looking to share a nice, peaceful and clean space. Reliable and responsible, working part time, on the weekends, and as an Early Childhood Educator from time to time. I have been in Australia for 7 years and in the same house for 3 long years. Seeking a new place for a change of air. Love the outdoors, art, photography, and a fresh cold beer. Social and creative with a fun personality, I also like my me time.

Hi I’m Ash, I’m a very clean and tidy non-smoker who enjoys fitness, the gym, the outdoors and people. I generally don’t drink through the week and rarely drink on the weekends. I eat healthy and cook as such. I enjoy conversation and meeting people but not interested in a party house. Respectful of your space, guests and privacy. I work for myself as a videographer and web designer. I do this from home so I will have a small desk setup in my room. When I’m not at home working I prefer to be out in the sun, running, training, visiting friends or seeing a movie. I’m not a couch potatoe.
This apartment is close to the Crows Nest shops. There is a bus stop right across the street (there's multiple bus stops within walking distance going in all directions). St Leonards park is walking distance from the apartment and North Sydney is only 15 minutes walk away. The apartment has a washing machine installed. Internet is available, but is not uncapped (prepaid).

I will be happy having dinner (I love cheese), cooking, hanging out and practicing sports all together (I play tennis, badminton, rugby, football...). I don't know how to surf, so if you want to teach me, it will be great !! ;) Feel free to ask me anything. Hope to see you soon :) Cheers, Valentin

Hey! My name is Tereza and I’m soon moving to study and work in Sydney from Czech Republic. I already studied in Canada, where I have been in homestay. So I do have previous experience with living abroad and sharing a place to live with people of multiple nationalities and all walks of life. Experience suggests respect and honesty are essential, so let me tell a bit about my preferences. Overall I like my personal space clean and organized (little bit of OCD, haha), so I tend to get best along with people of similar preference. I’m fun but an introvert (INTJ), never party and don’t smoke/have pets/have children. I don’t get along well with loud, party loving, unorganized people I lead healthy, minimalistic lifestyle, and like open spaces, my own personal space and dislike clutter Own (semi)furnished room would be preferred, the closer to center and train the better. My budget is $300/w (including bills). Fast internet is a big plus for me! Happy to answer any questions! :)
Hello guys, my name's Federica and I'm a 31-year-old Italian girl. I'm a friendly and respectful lady, tidy and clean. I work full-time and when I'm off I like doing sport, having long walks, reading a book in a park or at the beach, as well as having a nice chat and meeting friends. I would like to find a nice and relaxed place to call home to share with like-minded mates. Ciao! :)
Hey there! I'm a student at Sydney Uni and almost a high school teacher (only a year of uni to go!). I've had two short stints living out of home while studying overseas and have finally decided to bite the bullet and leave the nest here in Sydney. I'll be honest, I'm generally pretty quiet and am not really a party person. I do drink but not at all excessively (boring, right?). My ideal Saturday night is spent curled up at home watching Netflix. I absolutely adore cooking and I'm also a huge nerd for anything language or literature-related (books, movies, poetry, learning languages... I'm down). On the weekends (when I'm not working or studying), I love going to art galleries and museums, pottering around the shops or if the weather permits, going to the beach. As I'm studying full-time and also working four different part-time jobs, I'm not home much during the week so I'll have no problem staying out of your hair. Especially so whenever I'm on a teaching prac :)
