Gday future housemates, About me: 30, working fulltime as an engineer in the city, recently moved in from Melbourne. Just like everyone I enjoy cooking, drinking wine and keeping fit. I like to party and would consider myself fairly social but do not bring parties back home. I always clean up after cooking and do my best to keep the community areas neat and tidy. I have been living in a shared arrangement for over 12 years so you can say I am well trained and friendly. I love computers far more than I should as it's my job but I wouldn't consider myself a geek (ok, maybe a bit). I do not watch TV so you get the couch to yourself. You can talk to me about anything: Music, Politics, cooking, Work, relationships. I love coffee science, you would often see me make good brews. Love a good run and a boogie, often sweat it out in the gym. I am flexible, Can move in or team up. Cheers
Rob's from England, and I'm Australian. We're both super clean and considerate, would love if you were the same. We are super chill and easy to get along with. Rob cooks a fair bit, while I don't. I'm a big believer in the home being a quiet sanctuary, and we hope you are too. We love reading, being active and bingeing on Netflix. Rob's currently doing a PHD, while I work full-time in Finance, so we're pretty busy people. If you think you would get along with us, please send a PM :) happy to meet up for chat if you seem like a good fit.
Would suit student or someone needing somewhere short-term. Large own bathroom, large living space and balcony with great view. Access to pool and tennis court. Air conditioning in living space. Room is fully furnished, with double bed, 2 bedsides, and large chest of drawers. Will also provide tv in there for you. $375 per week covers rent, all bills (electricity, gas, WiFi). Bond is 2 weeks rent.
Really down to earth, friendly, accommodating and love to make my household feel like my family. Very clean and love to be sociable on the weekends. Will not hesitate to bring up issues in the house but also look to resolve them ASAP though this rarely happens. I am working full time in the cbd from dec 10th after finishing uni in Canberra. I never commit past a 2 month probation period to make sure I am wholly happy with the set up and not locked into something that doesn’t work for over a year. I love sports, music, video games, exercising, gym, books etc. and generally pride myself on being very easy to get along with. The max budget is a poor estimate and i'd likely be able to go for something slightly ($20-40) more expensive if it's nice.
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
Hi! I'm Gio I'm looking for a room/flat for 6 months maybe more, I'm on a student visa but I'm also working part time in a restaurant. I'm very busy with my job and my classes so I'm used to stay out the whole day, i just be back home late in the evening. When I'm off I rather go out for shopping or just take a rest at home cooking something and watching a movie in my room. I'm pretty flexible about price, type of room and the length of stay but for me the cleanings are very important so I'm looking for a place where cleaning is a must. At the moment I'm on holiday, I'll be back in Sydney in the beginning of January. To contact me, please, use the email coz I'm overseas now so my australian ph no. doesn't work at the moment. Cheers, ~Gio~
Hi! My name is Lucy and I work in IT. I enjoy going to F45 / the gym, playing video games, reading, watching movies (especially horror and action) and drinking the occasional Guinness. I am down to earth, LGBT friendly, animal friendly and enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine / bottle of beer, some Netflix and video games. Not a big party / clubbing person either. I currently live at home with my parents in Mosman, but I am looking to move out next year. I am considering getting a few cats or a dog when I move, but if this causes an issue, I can wait until I live alone. I am a big animal lover and I currently own a dog which would stay with my parents, so it would be great to meet a fellow animal lover. I am easygoing and enjoy a laugh, and if we become friends while rooming together, then that is an ultra plus too! Always up for making friends, especially new video game / movie buddies.
Hello! my name is Patty, I have moved from Adelaide to Sydney about 3 months ago. I have graduated from Uni last year and currently working as a full time designer in an architectural firm. On weekends I like to go out and explore Sydney and try my best to exercise or sometimes have a big sleep in for a relaxing weekend. I am friendly, clean, tidy and respectful. I love meeting new people and have fun but I also like to have time to myself after a long day from work.
We’re looking for someone interested in a place just over the short term. If you’re going to be in Sydney between December 10 and January 20 then we’d like to hear from you. We're on one of the nicest streets in Crows Nest. A leafy little haven, close to everything. A few minutes walk to the cafes and restaurants of Willoughby Rd. Four choices of supermarket. A minute's walk to buses direct to the city, Manly and Chatswood. One of the most beautiful parks in North Sydney is right nearby. The house itself is well appointed. Your bedroom will be on the second floor. With a built in wardrobe. It's L-shaped, with plenty of room for a double bed and more. It is an old house, having been renovated numerous times. But it's comfortable and spacious. And has a nice little private garden out the back. We have two bathrooms, so you will only be sharing with one other person. There is plenty of parking available on our street, but it is limited to 2 hours. And we're unfortunately maxed out for parking permits I'm afraid.
Hi! I am Melissa, I am 29 years old. I am a Social Worker for a big community centre in the city and casual babysitter for different families in the area. I work and study a lot with limited free time but I still manage to spend quality time with friends and flatmates when possible. I enjoy socializing but my own space is very important to me. I am a friendly, clean, tidy, considerate and respecful person. I like good music, good chats and good laughs as well :) I can cook delicious Colombian food and teach you how to dance to latin music. Although I love dancing I am not a big partier anymore. I am looking forward to finding a peaceful place and like minded people that aim to have a place to treat like a home and each other with respect. Good access to public transport in essential.
I am a full time working professional with the usual 9-5 Mon-Fri hours. I am quiet and keep to myself most days after work but also love a good chat. I like to get out on weekends too. I'd like people that are social but also can be quiet and nice to live with which might enjoy a board game sometimes.
Hi I’m Hayley :) I’m from the hills area, currently working in The Rocks and I'm looking for a change and a shorter commute. I’m easy to live with and am looking for some similar housemates and someone I can share the odd wine with. I’m very clean, easy going, and pretty low key - I usually spend time working out and cooking on weeknights and on weekends I either have a friend over or am out and about. I do need somewhere to park but I'm not fussed if it's secure or street parking. Feel free to contact me if you have a room coming up which might suit.
I'm an energetic but easy-going 20-year-old balancing full-time work and study. In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and chilling with my fur-baby (my 2-year-old, extremely cuddly, quiet, toilet trained and well-behaved chihuahua). I'd love to hang out with my flatmates and bond over some good wine and cheese every once in a while, but am also happy doing my own thing. I'm always willing to lend a hand, especially with cleaning and the like. I do drive, but ideally looking for somewhere near-ish public transport. Please shoot me a message if you think I may be a good fit in your home, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hi, I'm 29 years old, working full time engineer who has been living in Sydney for nearly 2 years. I love travelling, visiting new places, trying new things and playing bass. I try to keep myself busy with different activities after work, both inside and outside of the house, however, I enjoy having a chat with other housemates too. I'm looking for a place which is not a party house and where I can rest after work. Although, I don' t mind when other housemates are having guests. Also,I like the house to be tidy and always clean after myself, so I'm looking for similar minded housemates. Cheers, Michael
Hi, my name's Helen. I am a considerate, friendly and easy-going flatmate looking to live with like-minded people. I work in the city Monday to Friday and play tennis after work during the week when I can. I like to catch up with friends on weekends and generally be active and outdoors at any opportunity. I also love spending my down-time at the beach.
29 yr old architect living responsibly 9 to 6, sociable, respectful, easy going, like to keep things clean (but not obssessively), have a quirky sense of humour, like cooking painting jogging, have my full suite of furniture happy to share everything I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in Jan, so completely new to the city, prefer somewhere easy to commute to/form, have park around, near shopping strip, and safe above all else. Looking for a professional to share a home
G'day I'm Hayden, a newly graduated doctor starting at RNS in January. I'm looking for a room with 1 other housemate around North Sydney/Lower North Shore or close enough to the train line. Ideally moving in in January but I can start early for the right place. I have my own furnishings including fridge and washing machine if needed. I'm a chill person who respects privacy and likes a clean place. In my free time I like playing a bit of guitar, gym, hiking and surfing.
Easy going, clean & tidy, quiet person who works as an engineering professional in a sales role from a home office for O/S company. I do travel away on occasion for client meetings or customer site visits. Enjoy exercise and the occasional beer.... otherwise pretty much vanilla!
I'm an Aussie professional relocating back to Sydney from the US. Looking for a furnished sublet on the lower north shore or inner city from March 2019. I will be a professional, quiet, reliable tenant. Please note, I am not looking for share accommodation, but am seeking my own place such as a sublet, a granny flat, or an entire place for rent without roommates.
Hi all, I'm Emma, 27 and working full time in media. Sociable, enjoy a glass of wine and checking out local bars and cafes. Equally enjoy unwinding at home with a Netflix binge. Have been living in flatshare for over six years now, so am well versed in living with housemates! Clean and tidy, respect privacy, not a loud party animal. Looking for an unfurnished room with built ins and ensuite, big enough for a queen bed.
Design architect, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking!!! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere. Also 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hi everyone, my name is Catalina and I am very excited to travel to Australia. My husband Julian and I are a couple for more than 4 years. We are going to Sydney to study and work. We are very clean, hardworking, friendly and easy-going guys who want to share with others. As a Nurse, and my husband as a Civil Engineer, want to know others and share our experiences. We love mingling with others, sports, travelling, outdoor activities, cooking and more. Therefore, we hope to find an outstanding place to stay to fit our necessities (we are looking a double bedroom so we can live together for a month, and maybe more time). If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask us. We are available at any time. We will arrive on Saturday, November 24. So, if you guys know a good place please let us know. We can adapt to many circumstances; however, we prefer non-smoking and non-party places near between manly beach and the town hall. Thank you so much and we hope to meet you guys soon 😊
