Originally from Melbourne, I've just moved up to the Sunshine Coast after securing an engineering job. I generally keep to myself, but I'm always keen to enjoy a couple of drinks after a long work week.
I'm looking for a place to stay. I currently live at home but am looking to escape into the real world. I lived out of home at the beginning of this year but was forced to move back as the person I was renting a room at gave me little notice to find another place. I work late nights and do between 20-30 hours a week. Possibly getting a second job at the start of the new year
We have a large 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home. The room for rent includes your own private bathroom and outdoor area. The home includes- Large pool and outdoor area Huge living areas Air conditioning in main living Quiet cul-de-sac Plenty of parking 2kms to beach We are looking for someone to move in at the start of Feb when we renew the lease.
Im moving up to the Sunshine Coast to study in 2018 and am looking for a room to rent, as close to the beach as possible. I love to keep fit, surf and I play soccer. I’m a very tidy, respectful and organised person. I’m looking at moving early February.
My name is Maximilian and I am a 23-year old student from Germany. I am going to study for one semester at the University of the Sunshinecoast, semester 1 2018. I will be arriving in Mid-February 2018. I am looking for a room until the end of June 2018, so for around 5 months. It would be great to live in a place that welcomes international students. I like to play volleyball and skateboarding. I am a beginner in surfing and I can imagine to go on with surfing at the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. During the week-ends, it would be great to explore the Sunshine coast and its surrounding places. Looking for shared rooms with local Australians, internationals and open for Homestay. Personally, I would love to live in the neighbourhood of the university because I would like to take the chance to live together with local Australians. If you are interest to welcome an international student, I am looking forward to hearing from you. Maximilian
This is a big six bedroom house in Currimundi. It features large living areas with plenty of space to relax and chill out in. The spacious backyard features an outdoor living area, grassy yard, barbecue, clothesline and shed (as well as our very own mango tree!!). It's a great place to have have get togethers with friends! The house is only a five minute walk from Currimundi lake and surf beach, and is close by to cafe's and park areas. It's also only a five minute drive to shops and multiple restaurants. There's also a bus route (with a stop literally across the road), that goes directly to the University of the Sunshine Coast. Great for students who want to save fuel money!
A friendly, quiet couple who both work 5 days a week as well as study. We are always cleaning up after ourselves and love living in a clean house. We don’t party and we prefer to have quiet weekends in or we love to be at the beach.
38, no kids, and working full time on the Sunshine Coast. Enjoy the gym, dancing, cooking and hanging on the beach with my dog - 30kg 2yo female, housetrained, very playful and friendly. I do prefer to have her sleep inside (in her crate) at night - had some issues in the past with unsavoury neighbours. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others; generally pretty quiet, but enjoy being social. I'm keen to either find a room in a dog-friendly house, or team up with someone to find a new house. Not super urgent, but ideally it'd be great to move by the holidays.
I am a single male who works full time, plus other work as well. Very rarely at home other than to sleep and eat. Looking for my own space to be able to come back to. Preferred closer to Caloundra end of coast, but pretty cruisey. Not at home a lot and very quiet and clean.
The house is fully furnished and is situated in a quiet leafy area close to University Hospital, Beach, transport and shops. It is situated on a large private block comprising of 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms with fans and air conditioning in all rooms, large private outdoor barbecue area and all amenities are shared. Additional to the rent is $50 a week which covers, electricity, water, internet and a cleaner who comes weekly.
Hi :) My name is Maxi Fisher. I was born in NSW but have lived on the coast since 2005 and graduated from PLC in 2015. I studied engineering for a year at UQ in 2016, but decided it wasn’t for me so have returned to the coast to work full time and I have done so for the past year. I am currently saving to do a huge overseas trip starting in July next year and need a place relatively close to my work to do so. I am friendly, outgoing and love making new friends. I consider myself super easy to get along with and would find it pretty hard not to get along well with a group of like-minded flatmates. I work hard through my working weeks, but enjoy nothing more than kicking back on my weekends. I work as a Barista full time at a cafe very close to the Kawana hospital development and a house near here would be ideal. My selected move in date is December 11th but that date is very flexible.

Hi there! I'm a full time uni student studying Social Work at USC. I live a very happy, active life and would ideally like to find a household with others who have a similar mindset and lifestyle. You'll usually find me at the beach on my days off study besides working part time in retail at the Plaza. I'm a young 51 yo retired RN/Midwife of 25 yrs. I worked within the field of Pharmaceuticals for 13yrs. Am currently studying Counselling & am concurrently writing a book following studying an author's course. I was raised in Brisbane relocating to the Sunshine Coast in '94 till current, however, I've been studying in Brisbane for the last 4 mths & currently staying with friends there whilst I search for the right accommodation. I like to be & believe I am friendly & easy going; neat, tidy, clean & organized & would like to share with people who are similar. I am quiet but enjoy a good conversation. I'm respectful of others, responsible & reliable. I love gardening, cycling, swimming, walking, the beach, camping & basically anything outdoors... But I also enjoy a good novel, studying, tasteful & friendly social engagements, a good movie at home or at the cinemas, a nice coffee with the paper or with friends etc. Most of all, I love the beach!!! I'm looking to share with someone similar in an harmonious, peaceful environment that I can call 'home' for as long as is viable. I have a 17 yrs old purebred Burman cat that is currently with my cousin whilst I explore my future accommodation & would dearly love to have him with me. He is fully house-trained, predominantly indoors mainly due to his age but when outdoors is not a hunter...this part of his breed for which I researched & chose before having him bred for me. I'm from a large family of 7 children & many in-laws, niece's, nephew's & great niece's & nephew's. My family all professional in career choice so I'm very comfortable in numbers & within an interpersonal dynamic of social environments.
I'm a 25 year old doctor, moving to the sunshine coast from Alice Springs in January 2018 to work at the new hospital. I will be working full time with a year long contract. I am quite social outside my home, l but like my own space and am looking to either live on my own or with someone who is interested in renting a larger property with me. I would require unfurnished, but am also open to short term accomodation for 4-6 weeks when I arrive in January, while I find a permanent place to live for the year.
Ideally we are looking for someone to move in, early January, but this can be negotiable. We have for a rent 1 bedroom in a large, modern, fully furnished (apart from your room) Birtinya house - sharing with 2 others. The 2 storey house is fully air conditioned throughout - conveniently located close to the hospital, walking/running tracks around the lake, cafes and beaches. Downstairs is an open plan living area with a large kitchen that backs onto an outdoor terrace with a bbq. Upstairs is where your room would be. It has views of the lake, a ceiling fan and 2 large built in cupboards with mirrored doors. There is also storage in the upstairs living area with a bathroom/toilet you would share with a very clean male. We split all bills including unlimited internet, electricity and yard maintenance.
Large townhouse in Gated secure complex walking distance to new hospitals. Airconditioned with direct access to Lake Kawana. Pool and BBQ complex. Modern bright and breezy residence walking distance to shops and restaurants with great walking paths and parks. Lovely lifestyle! Minutes to Beach. Use of kayaks on Lake.
hi, my name is Dennis, a 49 yo Dutch chef who's settling down in Sunny coast after years of traveling :) not chef's like, ... I don't have trouble with gambling, drinking, money. don't have tattoos, piercings, don't smoke, I don't even swear LOL. I do have a very friendly and extremely honest personality, very easy going, straight to the point and quiet when I,m at home. this is were I,m after; a very quiet place to call home for half a year maybe longer. just to save some money for a house deposit. and I mean very quiet ! bush, remote, country, creek etc. maybe it sounds weird but I prefer to see no one at all on my day off. I have to deal with so many people when I,m working that I need to wind down and relax, reload when I,m at home. I do enjoy a social talk and sharing a glass vino every now and then. I,ve got a large shipping container loaded with furniture and all my stuff stored away,I have everything I need. so I don't need a furnished place, but if it is that's cool, i,m easy the ideal place would have a LUG, 1-2 br, unfurnished, private and very quiet, balcony or outdoor area with LOADS of sun. I,m working as a head chef in Caloundra 6 days a week so regular pay is coming in. have references from private rentals only :) 7 years in Australia and never signed a real estate lease only because they don't play it fair. I do ! always paid in time , always took care of the property I lived in and always treated the landlord as they treated me. I,m flexible with moving as I staying week by week in my current place. the owners are putting the house up for sale so I just can't wait and do nothing. would like to stay here in cicada close, buderim but seeing the housing market the house will be sold in no time. sorry for my crap English ... happy to come over for a chat and meet
g'day guys. I have recently relocated south from Port Douglas.
