Looking for a friendly place with easy PT options? Our place, a large weatherboard house nestled in the peaceful glades of Ivanhoe, is just a short walk from the station, two major supermarkets, an organic health food store, post office and numerous decent cafés. We have two rooms available. The downstairs room is partly furnished with a wardrobe, a small cupboard and a low table, which can be stored if you don't need them. There is a single bed available, or you are most welcome to bring your own. The upstairs room has wooden floorboards, shares an en-suite and has windows facing the front and back of the house. We are open to applications from people of all ages and persuasions. Our only stipulation is that we are only considering non-smokers. In addition to the $782.25 per month rent there is a bond amount ($800) and also we each chip in $100 a month into the rent account to cover auto-payment of all bills (including unlimited ADSL2 internet), toilet paper and other shared essentials. No bills on the fridge! We have found that things run smoothly this way, and help to maintain harmony. Please feel free to write or call to arrange a time to meet.

Hey guys! I just moved from Adelaide a couple months ago and looking for a new place to move into! At the moment I am a student doing my HR Management course online so you'll most likely find me at home during the times that I'm not working 1 of my 3 retail jobs haha! I am a neat, easy going guy and I love to explore new places. During the week you will typically find me working, studying or watching Netflix (usually Netflix 9 times out of 10, lets be real haha). I am also an absolute rev head so if you have any interest in cars, we're probably going to get along well :D Thanks for reading in advance!
I'm Kat to my friends, I'm currently working in the public sector but have worked in hospitality and a little in TV production for a long while before that in various spots around Aus. I've been back in Melbourne for a little under two years and am looking for a place to settle and call home for the foreseeable future. I love to cook (I'm told my food is pretty good :) - I'm not a vego but generally cook vegetarian food. I love music, indoor plants, veggie gardens, dogs, yoga, brunch with friends, talks/shows that make me think or laugh. I'm also studying psychology part time.
Hi there, Thanks for reading my profile :-) I’m 37 and working as a freelancer whilst setting up my own home organisation business, with some of my work being on the weekends as well as during the week. I have a 20 year old indoor domestic short haired cat, that is very clean and toilet trained and pretty much sleeps all day in a sunny spot in my room, and I am very fastidious about cleaning up after her. I’m quiet but still like to socialise and chat, friendly, clean, tidy, respectful of others and their personal space and I treat others how I would like to be treated. Warm regards, Mel
I work casually in promotional sales for Ecostar Double Glazing. I am a quiet bookworm who likes to keep to herself and loves to cook and game. I've moved around alot, but I'm looking to move to a place where I can settle down for a few years and save up to rent on my own. I love cats and dogs, and will often go play with them when I am feeling down.
I’m a pretty open minded guy. Like playing games and especially extremely chatting with anyone in English!!!! And I’m working as barista, so I can make good coffee.
Hey there! I'm Abbey and I'm from New South Wales' South Coast. I am looking to start my undergrad study (BSc) at the University of Melbourne in 2019. I'm looking for a place where I can stay at least for the first year of my studies, with some flatmates who are just as friendly and easy going as I am. I am highly organised and always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. I love music, nature and art, and am particularly passionate about wildlife (so I would be over the moon if you have any pets!). If I sound like someone who'd work well with you and your flatmates, please get in touch :) Cheers!
Hey Flatmaters! I'm Emily-Rose, a 30-year-old Communications professional who likes counteracting all the chocolate I eat with gym sessions and pole dancing classes. I'm a Melbourne local, and have a big and varied group of friends so I spend most weekends out socialising. I adore pets, and would ideally like to adopt a 'lil kitty in my future place, but would be fully responsible for the important things like keeping it alive. I'm looking to move in mid-late January, and am fully house trained. I've lived in both great and awful sharehouses in the past, so I know exactly what I'm looking for in the housemate department. Hopefully that's you! I tend to be more comfortable with women, but am open to everyone so long as you're not an awful human being and you like to have a chat every now and again 😊 My future home will be relatively new (i.e. mama wants a dishwasher), with lots of natural light, and preferably close to a park. I have minimal household stuff outside of my bedroom, but would happily invest in some big-ticket items if needed. I'm also very interested in hiring a cleaner once every 2-4 weeks to take the biggest burden off the household stuff. If this all seems good to you I hope to hear from you soon!
I am a genuine, hardworking, loyal, caring, friendly Aussie bloke who enjoys a good time... I am very sociable but am also conscious of people and their private time and space which is something I require as well... My friends say I'm really fun to have around and I enjoy good banter and get along with most people... I am very clean OCD in fact and take pride in everything I do... I am easy going with most situations and all I require is effective communication with everything... I am open to moving into any living situation as living in hotels is not my idea of good savings lol hit me up my moby is 0410455363
I'm really easy going. I'm a teacher, I play tennis a few nights a week and try to catch up with friends as much as I can. Trying to find a room that is easy enough to get to work (Eltham) while being close to the city.
I'm surprised to be 49yrs old! I'm moving from Gippsland to be closer to family. I have a keen interest in animal welfare, but no pets. My houseplants are quiet things. I'm mostly quiet, but do enjoy eccentricity and playing with ideas and stories. I like cooking, gardening, am currently an unskilled drawerer(? and speller, evidently), English comedy and John Clarke humour are my favourites, and I am aiming for 'optimism' as a character trait. I'd love a home for the longer term.
Hi, Im a 23 year old student at RMIT studying honours psych part-time. I work 5 days a week as a gaming attendant as well. I am a casual but my work is pretty reliable in giving me shifts and I have a steady income at this stage. I like to cook and bake and I keep my mess in my own space. I am mostly quiet and keep to myself. I would love to get a pet but obviously it is not a priority; If you have pets though I will love them like my own. I am reliable and I follow through on commitments. I'd love to find someone who I click with and have fun with to share a living space :)
Hi I’m a very young at heart 50 year old with 3 small dogs, 2 of which are very old so very chilled out like their mum. They are indoor and outdoor doggies and sleep a lot. I’m single and enjoy my free time chillin with my dogs. Happy to mix with housemates but also respect people’s need for their own space. I’m vegan but won’t preach and I’m very clean and tidy. I have a lot of experience with house sharing and am very easy going as long as people communicate and sort out any issues together and respectfully. I work in disability and waiting to find a place before finding work again. Thanks for reading and feel free to message me. :-)
I am looking for 3 BEDROOMS, a whole house if available. I am a hard working Services Operations Manager in the engineering industry, a home body. My 2 daughters and l are very house proud, clean, very busy and quiet. We love to cook, and make our house a home. Our pet cat is a darling too, she is quiet, house-trained and friendly. We are looking for a whole property if possible.
Hey! Looking for a new place with a backyard for my pup! I work 4-6 nights/days a week, as a bar manager or events worker and often get free wine, wedding cake and flowers, so thats a bonus! My hours are consistent from around 3pm to around midnight depending on the day. Looking for somewhere easy going and friendly, that's quiet and respectful. Must be dog friendly as i have a staffy X who is gorgeous and friendly and my constant shadow.
I’m a social, yet hard working individual. I’m tidy, I clean and cook often. I work full time as a trainee train driver with V/Line, so my roster is a bit crazy at times with early or late starts, but I try and be considerate with being quiet while getting ready quite early or coming home a bit late. I love biking, hiking, and exploring both Melbourne and regional Victoria. I would love to live at a place with a dog where I could help out with walks and dog parks as needed. I love my occasional beer or red wine with dinner and always up for a good chat.
