Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
Weekdays: 9-5 work at Swinburne as a learning technologist. Some evenings I'll go to dance class or catch up with friends over a dinner/wine. Weekends: Getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. I like cooking a lot, and I take my kitchenware very seriously. I am in a furnished house at the moment so I won't bring furniture but I will contribute some nice kitchen knives and other kitchen items. My wishlist for a house includes tidy and genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I hold my weight around the house in cleaning, purchasing shared items like toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. My move in date is flexible, but If I get on the lease now, I may stay only for a night or two for the first few weeks.
Hi, I'm Lachlan, but preferably Lach. I'm a laid back guy who keeps mostly to himself but also enjoys socialising and good conversation. I'm about to start studying to become a Massage Therapist at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in Heidelberg. I love animals, wine, meditation, a good book and voice acting. I'm looking to find a place in or around Heidelberg in late April but my dates are flexible.
I currently have a room available for rent at my place in Ivanhoe! Located 8kms from CBD and two train stations are a 3 min walk away with express trains into the CBD in peak hour both ways. There is also a bus stop at your finger tips. The light filled townhouse is two storey with both bedrooms upstairs and every this else is located downstairs. The house is fully furnished also with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need! The bedroom is unfurnished. It also has a large mirrored sliding wardrobe which is the whole back wall, which I'm sure any girl can appreciate! There is also a courtyard out the back with a table and chairs, bathroom, living area, dining, separate laundry with high efficiency washing machine. The house also has heating, air conditioning, French door fridge, dishwasher and a large tv in living area. The neighbours are all lovely and it's a quiet and safe location. There are lots of great walking tracks close by as well if you like to get out and about into the outdoors and unwind. The rent is $235 per week and $940 per month excluding bills (electricity, water, WiFi). Bond and a month's rent due upfront
Hi! My name is Kalinda (Kally, please) and I'm going to be moving from Townsville to Melbourne in June. I'm enrolled in a Bachelor of Creative Arts at La Trobe University, and work part time in retail, and also as editor/journalist for a sports website. Now that the boring stuff's out of the way, here's a bit about me :) As I'm moving across the country, I only know a handful of people in Melbourne, so I'm hoping to find housemates that I can be friends with as well, but I'm also respectful of your space and won't constantly pester you to hang out with me. I'm an artistic, creative person, and I love writing (especially novels) and reading. I'm a very chill person, who prefers low-key hangouts to going out on the town. I don't do drugs or smoke, and only drink occasionally (that's not to say I'm judgemental, because I'm not. You do you). I also love sports and gaming, but I won't be in-your-face about it (unless you also like sports and/or gaming, in which case we will become best friends). I'm an animal lover, and I come with a 1yo Border Collie named Kida, and a ragdoll/tortoiseshell kitten named Violet. Both are toilet trained and very affectionate (not especially good guard-pets, as they love everyone, though Kida will bark if someone she doesn't know comes too close to the fence). Kida is very well trained, yet very energetic as she's still a puppy, so she's a strictly-outdoor dog. -Side note: I'm from a small, relatively right-winged town in North Queensland. Please don't judge me on this. I may not be thoroughly educated on many issues, but I'm very willing to learn, and I'm sensitive and empathetic :) If you're LGBTQ+, vegan, POC, etc. I am 100% on your side, and would be honoured to be your housemate :)
We are Kostas and Elena, a young couple from Greece. Both of us are 27 years old, and we are working at Melbourne the last 9 months. We like to meet new people and cultures, and both of us have experience living with other people and respect their privacy, while at the same time like to socialise and have interesting discussions. Elena is an accountant and likes music, dance, exercising and travelling. Kostas is an IT engineer and likes music, reading books and exercising too.
Hey guys, looking for team ups to get a magnificent place! I'm Kimberley, 21 this year and I'm a 3rd year student at Monash University. I'm doing a Bachelor of Computer Science and I am currently working as a pool lifeguard with Active Monash. A little bit about myself: I'm easy-going, respectful, and fun to be around with (or so I'm told) haha! I love cooking, baking, travelling, hiking and rock climbing. I am pretty neat and looking forward to making a bunch of new friends to conjoin mutual interests or find new commons interests :)

Hi there. Im moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in April. I work full time and study part time normally although taking a break from study to settle in to Melbourne life. I have been interviewing for jobs already and will continue to do so whilst still living in Brisbane. I already have some great opportunities and want to start interviewing/work as soon as I arrive. Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. Im a music lover, sports fan, outdoor type, some fitness and some gaming. love going on weekend driving and camping adventures out of town. Im pretty quiet around home when studying and always make sure to keep a clean home.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
I have one large double bedroom available in this beautiful, light-filled 3 bedroom home. About you.. Looking for a respectable, clean person with a similar lifestyle to share this home with. I enjoy my own space and downtime, but would like someone sociable who is up for a meal or a drink in the evenings, along with some Netflix. I'm also more dinner party than house-party these days so this isn't a party house. About the place.. The room has generous BIR, and you would have access to your own bathroom and separate toilet (this might occasionally be shared if there was a guest staying in the third bedroom). The ground floor of the house has a spacious lounge (a real sofa will be put in soon!), a large open-plan kitchen/dining area, another WC, euro laundry and a small garden with plenty of veggies. There is also a lot of storage space both upstairs and downstairs. The house is furnished but there is plenty of space if you want to bring furniture (I will be replacing the dining set eventually). The kitchen is fully equipped also. Located within 10min walk of Heidelberg station, and close to Heidelberg and Ivanhoe shops, cafes and restaurants. Rent is $1300 for the month, bills additional. The garage is not included with the house, so only off-street parking but there is plenty of space.
Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm running my own small company in the sustainable fashion space but also working full time. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.
Hi! I am originally from the Chicago, US and have been living in Australia for 10 years. I am a full-time student studying psychology and I do this online. I am looking for a new place since being overseas for 6 months. I am not working now but, I plan on getting some part-time work once I am settled. Don’t worry, I will still be able to cover my part of the rent. ;) Finding a housemate who is respectful and considerate of personal space is important to me. I am a friendly and thoughtful person but sometimes I need time to recharge my batteries. I would be happy living with someone who is outgoing or more reserved if we can get along I would also prefer living with someone who has a sense of humour. I enjoy being playful and having a laugh but my humour is dry and sarcastic at times which sometimes people don’t understand. I think that it is really important to laugh after a stressful day! I also enjoy cooking (but not baking!), photography, movies, traveling and hanging out at the pub when I can get away from my studies. Please send me a message if you would like to more Cheers Vicki
I'm from India. I am used to Flat-sharing. I'm neat, tidy guy. can help with house-hold chores. Will love to help you in cooking (Considering, you won't kill me if i make mistakes). I would love to play with your pet, if you have one, but if you don't, it's alright. Very helpful and have little bit of handsomeness from my papa.. Would love to hear from you! :)
Im a down to earth person who is able to get along with most people. Im friendly and like a chat but also enjoy my own space and understand the need for personal space and privacy. I am clean and tidy and enjoy cooking. I am living of my regular superannuation payments. I pay my rent and bills on time.
I'm hardly ever home and I'm clean. I have enough good quality furniture to fill a 2 bedroom apartment so preferably looking for a garage to store it. I come with 2 very friendly Burmese cats. I have 2 jobs so I'm not home much. I am a smoker (outside is fine) and don't pry into peoples lives. I respect privacy but i am friendly. I also prefer off street parking. I don't have crazy ex's or kids.
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to help with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Looking to move pretty much as soon as I can, and looking for long-term like at least 12 months, but I'm easy. Any other questions let me know!
Hi! I'm french but I actually live in Spain for 8 years now. I'm working on a PhD in Political Studies and as a french teacher as well. I'm coming to Melbourne to study at La Trobe University and to conduct some of my PhD fieldwork. I've shared flats since I was 18 and I enjoy to have a good chat and laugh with nice and interesting people, but I also like to have my own space to study or listen music. I'm not really into sports but at least I try to keep fit. I do love music (to play and listen), movies and books. I really love pets (both cats and dogs) but I don't have one of my own.
Clean, honest, pays rent on time and friendly. Happy to have a glass of wine or a beer. Also happy to hide in my room and not socialise. Chris is studying a Diploma of Bioscience and Devon (DJ) is studying a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery, both at LTU. Smart, funny, sarcastic. The whole package really.
Hi, I'm Nate, quiet and tidy, can cook and bake, like to play board games and the keyboard (but don't worry, I can plug in headphones and only I have to listen to myself play)
