I'm a financial analyst working full-time looking for a convenient place with easy access to the city. I'm a neat and tidy guy who respects other people and their space and expect the same in return. I don't smoke, not the party/clubbing type, and all my friends are professionals mostly in the finance field. I'm a quiet laid back guy who enjoys doing charity work during the weekend, going out with friends, and learning to cook new dishes. I'm looking for a clean place, close to a station, and with an ensuite bathroom and toilet to move into for the long-term. I come with a car, so I'd appreciate if the property comes with parking, or safe on street parking. I would love to visit the property for an inspection and to introduce myself personally.
You'll be living in our cosy sunny home, a 5 minute walk from the 250 and 350 bus stop to the city. Ideal for anyone studying at La Trobe with the 250 bus to La Trobe at one end of our street. Walk to the other side of the street and you'll hit Darabin creek for some of the nicest walks you'll ever have. We've got a big yard and veggie patch that we're more than happy to share. We're looking for a full-time worker or student who is socially active and won't spend all day on the couch. We're an LGBT+ friendly home and we'd hope you share this attitude. Up for the occasional drink and home cooked meal.

Backyard studio in vegetarian friendly share house in Ivanhoe The studio is available for up to 3 months from June 21. Minimum stay 1 month. It is part of a share house with 2 bedrooms in a charming art deco house in Ivanhoe. For someone 22 years and over. The household is run on a share house basis. It is 26 mins to La Trobe via bus route 548, including walking to the nearby bus stop, and just 8 mins (3.7 km) to La Trobe by car. Close to Eaglemont Station and not far from Ivanhoe shops. Suit a vegetarian or someone happy to share a vegetarian friendly house. The house has hydronic heating. The studio comes furnished with a double bed, a couch, a table and its own ensuite toilet. Check out the photos. The double bed has 4 large drawers under the bed for storage. The bed has sheets, doonas and a blanket. It would unfortunately not suit someone with their own furniture. The dining and lounge rooms look out onto a beautiful front garden. The back garden has large veggie patches. The house has a friendly cat. Sorry, no additional pets. No smokers. I would describe the house as quiet and peaceful. If you are interested, send me a quick email or give me a call.
Hi, I'm Dave and I just moved to Australia. I'm looking to move down to Melbourne to be closer to the food, comedy, music, events, and all-around goings-on. I can cook! A bit! I'm getting into sourdough bread (I can pump out a loaf every couple of days if needs be!), and can do mean curries and stews. I'm a freelance photographer/videographer/web developer but being new to the country, I need to be in the city to meet people and find more work. My wife lives and works up near Shepparton, though, so I would likely be out of the city for a couple of days each week. Likes: photography, board games, podcasting, cider, stinky cheese, coffee, hiking, flyboarding, elaborate Mario Kart tournaments, casual river sports (gorge scrambling, kayaking, rafting) Because I do video work, good unlimited internet is probably required for uploading finished videos. On-screen things: basketball, Game of Thrones, AFL, Rick & Morty, billions of hours of YouTube cooking channels, Primitive Technology. If there's any garden space, I'd like to live with people who are interested in growing veggies and trying out new recipes. I'm happy to live with friendly dogs or cats or other critter friends, so long as they don't bark all day (sometimes I'll need to record podcasts or voice-overs in my room). I think that's about it! But please ask questions if I've missed anything. Cheers, Dave

Hi, I am a muslim girl from Indonesia. Been here in Melbourne since June 11, 2016 and will be staying here until August 2018. I am a full-time student studying Master of Chemical Science at La Trobe University in Bundoora. I am a talkative person who love sports, like horse-riding, skydiving and scuba-diving. I am looking for a room without any dogs around and in a quiet circumstance (since I am a student and need a "good" place to study).
We are a Danish couple looking for a nice place to live near La Trobe University, where we are going to study for one semester. We will arrive in Melbourne the 8. july. Anders studies business economics and Astrid studies sociology. We consider ourselves as nice and considerate people, and would enjoy to stay a place with people who would like to share a meal once in while. In our spare time we enjoy to travel, be active and get to know new people.
Hi potential flatmates! Myself, my best friend Georgia Lea and her lover boy Jared are looking for a funky abode to call our own! 🏡 We've been on the hunt for a good 5 - 6 months, and Jareds lease is up so he needs a place ASAP. Because of this we aren't too fussy about location, although we're hoping for somewhere north of the CBD. Anywhere with a room for a couple and a room for a single within reasonable access to public transport would be brilliant! A bit about us: Georgia Lea - I study social work at La Trobe, passionate about memes and musicals particularly the sound of music, pun enthusiast, loves a good conspiracy theory, and is generally top notch, bubbly, clean and organised gal to live with! hit us up fam Jared: Just ur typical bloke that works part time at BWS so can recommend some lovely beverages, studies Media at Deakin, and loves him a good video game or wrestling match. Likes music and literally obsessed with movies. Ask him about his simpsons tattoo Georgia Anne: Studying youth work at ACU, as well as working 2 casual jobs to feed her Toblerone addiction. Quotes way too many irrelevant tv shows. Passionate about aquatic facts and SFX makeup. 10/10 will bake questionable sweets for you on her quest to become supreme baking genius When not working or studying, we're all up for a good chat and a few drinks, but also enjoy down time and personal space. We are homeless and sad and cant wait to hear from you!
SHORT TERM RENTAL SOUGHT: June 21st to July 21st. Hi! I'm a friendly, positive, low key housemate. I aim to contribute warmth and care to the home and express a generous spirit whenever I can. I'm into nature and love to be outside, so if you're looking for someone to contribute to the garden or even get one started (on one of the warmer winter days), that is me! Very respectful of diverse needs and equal value of individuals in the house. I value clear, honest and respectful communication. I work a few jobs but my main field is disability and arts. Am 35 years old (but have friends ranging from their 20s to their 60s!). Non-smoker. Have car. Good with cleaning. For fun, I go hiking and engage in a range of creative hobbies. I tend to spend my weekends out of the house. I'm also working on a writing project, so looking for a generally quiet home - at least in the day time. Please feel free to ask any questions! Much appreciated. Best, Tan. + I LOVE kids but for now, am looking for a home with adults. + Also open to converting an old shed or bungalow into a liveable state! + Can consider longer term.
