I am a mature, quiet and very clean lady that works full time at the Austin Hospital and would prefer somewhere not to far from work. I like to look after my home and I am very clean and tidy. I would prefer something self contained but would consider a teamup with someone of a similar age. I do have all the necessities to furnish a home . I don't smoke or so drugs. Pretty easy going and very considerate of others. I am looking to move by the middle of July.
Hello! Looking for a room in the north/inner east to move in preferably around the end of May, but flexible with dates. I'm a music grad working part time in retail plus doing a bit of freelance work. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm after a fairly chill/quiet place with some type of parking available. Please note pug in the pic is unfortunately not mine :( :)
I'm a 28 year old animal, cartoon and internet lover. I also enjoy learning languages, cycling, hiking around the world and learning anything new! I'm always busy and like variety! I work at a wildlife sanctuary in education and at an indigenous nursery. I also have my own petsitting micro business and freelance for the environmental team at a local council. I have two spoilt rats. Harvey and his Aunty Floss are old and keep to themselves in their little cage sleeping the day away. You likely won't even notice they are there! If there are any other pets in the house that's ok as long as I can keep them secure in my room (a lock on the door would be great!) Due to my petsitting we do go away for the occasional weekend (or month). I can also bring some furniture/fridge/microwave if required as I had my own place while at uni.
Vegetarian share house in Ivanhoe - sublet available now until early October Available now but start date flexible. Minimum length of stay 3 months. I'm going to Europe for 4 or 5 months. There is a medium sized room to share in a charming 2 bedroom art deco house in Ivanhoe. The household is run on a share house basis. It is 26 mins to La Trobe via bus route 548, including walking to the nearby bus stop, and just 8 mins (3. 7 km) to La Trobe by car. Close to Eaglemont Station and not far from Ivanhoe shops. Suit a vegetarian or someone happy to share a vegetarian house. The room can be rented furnished or unfurnished. The house has hydronic heating. The dining and lounge rooms look out onto a picturesque front garden with lots of native plants. Large back garden with big veggie patches.
Looking for a male house mate for my lush house in Ivanhoe surrounded by parklands in an modern apartment. You get a a room a personal bathroom, and access to a secondary loungeroom/ study which leads onto the downstairs entertaining deck that over looks Darebin parklands. Rent is $280 a week including $30 for internet. Extra bill amenities have never gone over $200 in costs. You will be living with me and my beautiful whippet in an amazing modern double story townhouse surrounded by parklands. It's almost like living in the bush but right next to Thornbury. It has a large light filled ultra modern feel to it, an upper deck and a lower entertaining deck that leads from the downstairs loungeroom. It's fairly well furnished as I've lived by myself for a few years. It also comes with a dishwasher in the kitchen! Would suit someone with a car or their own form of transportation as it's a 10 minute drive from Ivanhoe shopping strip and also Northland shopping centre. Ivanhoe station is close by but also a bus that leads straight to the city. I would prefer a non smoker, but I'm fine with cigarettes outside. I'm not a big drinker at home but do enjoy a couple of drinks on the weekend sometimes.
I'm a Carlton supporter with too much spare time on his hands looking for some chills digs near campus (Swinburne/Swinny/Swine House). I earn my bread and butter with nights spent in the city doing drudge work for society's elite. What makes me a great housemate? I'm honest, tidy, not half bad in the kitchen, and can pick out a decent bottle of wine or ale without too much fuss. An addendum: move-in dates that suit me are mid to late July.
Quiet 70's style unit 5minuets walking distance away from Eaglemont Station, Wine Cellars, IGA, Post Office, Cafes and more. This unit is back off the road which makes the only noise a small Choo of the train as it goes past. Perfect for your first shared home! This room fits 1 queen bed, my key board and 2 chest of draws with extra space. Comes with BIW. The room up for rent is the largest of the 2. This also has a secured small back yard with a clothesline and an out door setting area, perfect for guests! Internet is 70$ a month split in half as well as all bills, we have gas heating to keep it cheap!
I'm a 52 year old Single Non Smoker who is tired of handing over $1700 per month for rent in Gowanbrae. Ideally, I would like to share with a person who is respectful of each others personal space, is reliable and is also a non smoker. I'm fine with pets, being an animal lover. I'm very independent and clean. I'm not a party animal or heavy drinker, but occasionally have one or 2 beers after a hard day at work. I'm away most weekends visiting family or friends. So, in conclusion, I'm just after a room to put my double bed and some belongings in, that is safe secure and hassle free. When I move out of my current apartment, I will either have a Washing Machine, Dryer to dispose of, or if you can use it, it is available. I work full time (Mon -Fri) 0600 to 1700. Ideally, a property with own bathroom or ensuite would be what I would prefer.
Property is fully furnished. Downstairs bedroom (requires bed) with own bathroom. Property is in a great location, quiet and has two separate living areas. Great local shops and walking track along the river. Bus and train access - very close.
Hullo! My room in our lovely sharehouse in Ivanhoe is available for rent from Sunday 4 June to Sunday 13 August. The house is really nice - it's a recently renovated timber house and has polished floorboards throughout, ducted heating, a split-system A/C and a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms and you'd be sharing it with my housemate, Emma, who is also very nice. The house has two bathrooms with showers, which makes it ideal for working people, or people who really like showering. The room comes fully furnished and has a built-in wardrobe and a split system heater. A liking for the classic 1990s ABC TV show "Seachange" is desirable but not essential for applicants. If you're interested in the room for all or part of the above period, let me know!
Hi all :) Looking for a sharehouse preferably all female, maximum sharing with 2 other flatmates. I value peace, privacy, and cleanliness at home. I work full time and enjoy my lazy and relaxed days off :) Hoping to find my match here! :p
Hi. I'm a quiet guy who mostly keeps to himself but I have good morals, am extremely tidy and respectful of others' privacy. Looking to work in Security Industry but for now am on Centrelink benefits.
I'm very easy going. Work full time. I'm at gym or doing social things most nights. I'm happy to share a meal or two but I'm also very happy to do my own thing. I'm pretty quiet at home. I'm neat and tidy but not pedantic about it. Do you like dogs? I have a beautiful 4year old vizsla. He's super chill and just follows me wherever I go. Whilst he will NOT be coming to live with me he may be around the house for a few hours a week.He always smells like 'vanilla cupcake' shampoo. I have a vacuum. He has very good manners
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT in the city. In my spare time I like to watch movies, explore Melbourne, go to the beach, see a live gig or catch up with mates. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I am financially secure, clean up after myself and respect other people's privacy and personal space. Ideally, I am looking to share a 2bdr apartment with one other adult roughly my own age somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute reasonable. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
Hi! My name is Kalinda, and I'm moving from Townsville to Melbourne at the end of May. I'm 22, and I'm working part time in retail and I'll be studying Creative Arts at La Trobe. I've done the sharehouse thing for two years now, and have never had any issues paying rent and bills on time. I'd like to live somewhere close to public transport to La Trobe, but I will have my car with me so it's not too essential. I'm moving with my ragdoll/tortoiseshell cat Violet, who's house-trained and is very friendly with people and other animals. About me: I'm a creative person, and my specialty is writing; I hope to make a career out of it and will be working towards that when I arrive in Melbourne. I'm a friendly, happy person, and hope to be friends with my future housemates as well, as I only know a handful of people in Melbourne, therefore a friendly sharehouse would be preferable :) My interests outside writing include gaming (xbox and pc), watching sports, all other art forms (tv and movies, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc), and exploring (trying new foods, live music, adventuring, festivals, etc.) If I sound like I could fit into your home, please shoot me a message (or if you're willing to team up to find a place, hit me up). I'm ready to move immediately, though it'll take me 3-4 days to drive to Melbourne (because of this, I won't be able to do an in-person interview, as I'll have nowhere to stay in Melbourne in the meantime, but feel free to chat to me on facebook, or I can get skype, etc.). I would love to be an addition to your household :)
Hey Hows it going? Im Ash, 26 years old, working full at the moment near Greensborough as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost planner. Working Monday to Friday all day long so potential roomates will have the place to them selves during weekdays. Chilled out guy, absolute neat freak, get along with everyone and always respect people's privacy as I enjoy mine at times.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hi I'm matt, I'm 26 I work full time as a plumber by trade .I'm mindful and respectful of other people. I'm a very clean neat and tidy person. I'm easy going and pretty easy to get along with. I'd say I'm fairly open minded respectful and educated on political views religious beliefs and all that sort of stuff. I'm very upfront and honest. I can be quite social but also will keep to myself at times as I work long hours and my job can be quite stressful at times so I'll just come home and want to switch off for awhile but I'm also happy to share a meal or have a beer or wine every now and then aswell. Preferably after something with off street parking and own bathroom/ensuite. THANKS!
