Hey! I’m Athena 😊

I work full-time in a pretty busy and demanding job. Because of that, I really enjoy coming home to a clean, comfortable and relaxed house where I can switch off after work and not looking for a shared house but a home.

I’m a little more introverted these days and enjoy my downtime, but I also love catching up with friends, going out for food, getting out for walks and making the most of my time when I’m not working.

I have two cats who are a big part of my life. 🐱🐱 They’re both toilet trained and they are the sweetest boys. They’re used to being around people and generally just do their own thing. They’re not the type to jump all over kitchen benches, scratch furniture or cause chaos around the house. They actually grew up around dogs, so they have a pretty good understanding of boundaries and are surprisingly well behaved for cats!

Because they’re used to having outdoor access, I’m looking for somewhere with a secure backyard for them. I also have a cat sitter who takes care of them when I’m at work, so there would never be any expectation for a housemate to feed them, look after them or take on any responsibility for them. They’re completely my responsibility.

I’m very clean and tidy and take pride in looking after where I live. I’m respectful of everyone’s space, privacy and routines. At the same time, I really enjoy having a good chat with a housemate when the time is right, whether that’s catching up in the kitchen, having a coffee in the backyard or just talking about how our day went. I think it’s nice to be able to have your own space while still feeling comfortable and friendly at home.

I’m pretty easygoing and looking for a relaxed, respectful home with someone who is clean and considerate. I’m not really looking for a party house, just somewhere that feels comfortable, peaceful and homely. 😊
