My name is Sebastian. I am 26 years old. I am easy going, respectful, responsible and quite. I work part time at the moment. I came to Australia because I want to improve my skills and my English. I am humorous- I like good jokes. I am extremely tidy and organised, I like to maintain my space clean always as I believe it attracts positive vibes. I look forward to be part of your house.
Hi potential female housemate, (yes I only wish to live with females) I'm friendly, down to earth and just a regular Jo (which happens to be my middle name)! My interests are veered toward artistic pursuits such as singing, card making, scriptwriting and volunteering as a FOH member for amateur theatre. I like to walk a lot and keep healthy though do enjoy a good wine! I have a lovely friendship circle spread across Melbourne and supportive family. I'm keen to meet someone who likes to chat from time to time but likes their free time too. I'd like to meet someone that I feel I can be myself with and to forge a companionship of sorts that has mutual respect, care and appreciation. I'm looking for a home not just a house that is shared and where both parties might communicate well so they both know where they stand. Basically I don't wish to feel I have to be in my room all the time or that the house really is the domain of the other person. Just someone who is kind, honest and willing to share resources would be great :) Prefer not to live with any pets.
Hi, I am Vik from India. I currently work full time as Mechanical Designer in Braeside. I am an open-minded person who respects people's privacy and personal space. Few things I enjoy are Coffee, food, music and yoga. I am a vegetarian and looking for a house or apartment near by my workplace. I am easy going, quite and tidy person. Prefer to stay in a peaceful environment.
Hello! My name is Ciara and I was born and raised in Alaska. I will be moving to Melbourne on March 4th with my boyfriend Sam (two years) who is from there. We are looking for a place for one year as he will be finishing his last year at Deakin and I am on a work and travel visa. In the summer, we like to hike and camp. Sam plays tennis and coaches. In the winter, we like to ice skate and snowboard. We enjoy drinking, cooking, and just hanging out. I like photography. Sam is 21 years old and I am 23. Sam has a car and will need a parking spot. I do not have a car so it would be nice to be close to public transportation. I would like a full kitchen with a dishwasher. We love dogs and can care for them. We are looking to pay $150-200 each or $300-400 for both of us per week.
My name is Maddy, I am a 23 yr old Canadian girl moving to Melbourne to undertake my Masters of Architecture at UniMelb. I'm tidy in common areas and my room is usually fairly tidy (never dirty). I have lived in roommate situations for the last 5 years so I am good at sharing spaces and cleaning duties for common areas. I have references if that helps too. I am new to the city and only know a few people so it would be nice to join a house share to have a social group. A bit about me: I am a fairly early riser (9ish) and typically go to bed about 10-11 but with school and the occasional night out it will vary. I enjoy Netflix and wine nights and being social in the house. I love fashion and I model occasionally and hope to continue this in Melbourne. I like to go to the gym every other day when I can and eat relatively healthy. In my free time I like to go to the beach, shop and explore the city. I am looking for a private bedroom (preferably with a double or queen bed) near transit (I will not have a car) to the University of Melbourne or near the uni itself. I arrive on the 1st of February and can view places after that. I would like to be moved in by March 1.
*move in date may be earlier Hola. Name's Katrina Mae. Seeking a room long term that can cater for a queen bed. BIR and/or private bathroom would be grand. Employed full time in print. Low key during the work week but still jovial. Courteous, tidy, timely w/ rent, easy going. Smoke outside only. I draw, cook, go to gigs, spend time with friends, volunteer, watch films/series, read, play video and board games. I'd like to reside in a mature, somewhat social yet relaxed household with roommate etiquette (near public commute - shops).
Hi potential flatmate! I'm Ian and I work in therapeutic horticulture. A vegetarian, and human companion for Nikki and Lexi, I love my house to be home, and a flatmate who is good company. I'm a non-drinker and non-smoker, love reading, and occasionally going out as well. I think I'm pretty funny, easy to live with and have a bloody good sense of humour, and I am not at all conservative! Don't mind sharing my food and like house to be fairly clean. Also respectful of other people and expect the same.
I'm clean, respectful and keep to myself mostly. Although, always down for some beer and pizza, and I come with a ps4!
I am a 23 year old studying at University of Melbourne. I am very tidy and organised and I clean up after myself. I love to read, watch TV and bake. I am always up for a chat but also happy to do my own thing.
Hello! I'm Prita, from Indonesia. About to start grad school in Melbourne starting January 2019 after working in a children's nonprofit for the past 5 years. As a flatmate, I'm clean and tidy, especially in shared spaces. I can be social but also very much value my personal time and space. Like to pay my bills on time so they don't haunt me. On weekends I enjoy Netflixing (who doesn't :p), reading, going out for meals or drinks, and if lucky enough to live near parks or beaches, having a stroll. I'm looking for like-minded flatmates (and a flat) around my age or older, preferably female, who are kind, respectful, clean, and easy to live with. Would be great if we could occasionally hang out together or share meals/drinks at home. Cats (or dogs) would be a huge plus as I won't be able to bring mine :'(
I've been living in Melbourne just under 3 years, originally from the UK. I work full time and am looking to share with a working professional. In my spare time i enjoy yoga, exercise, socialising and am also a Reflexologist and Reiki practitioner. I'm pretty easy going, happy doing my own thing. I'm clean, tidy and considerate. It would be great to share with someone who enjoys sharing the odd meal and bottle of wine every now and then too :)
Hi I'm a software developer who loves pets of all kinds! During the week i'm usually working, at the gym or binge watching Netflix/reading. On the weekends I enjoy going out for a beverage or three and try to listen to live music when possible. Looking for flatmates who aren't going to be complete strangers and preferably in a mix gender house I am somewhat flexible on the move date Bonus if your pet friendly (Don't have any currently but would love to get a dog)
I'm a 25 year old aerospace engineer from the country, but have spent most of the last several years down here in Melbourne. I build transport drones for work, and have recently moved the workshop into Port Melbourne where I'll be spending most of my time. I hope to find suitable housemates that I can become friends with, who I could share a few drinks with after work and hang out on days off. However I'm also prepared to settle into a quiet place where I would concentrate on work while I'm here, and head away during my days off. I'm polite & tidy. Happiest when I'm camping down by the river with my boat wakeboarding or fishing with good mates. But I also love a good night in with friends over drinks and dinner.
My name is Tom and I am 19 years old from London , United Kingdom. I have recently moved over on a working holiday visa for a maximum of 2 years. I am looking to find a room in a house with other young adults - starting November 2018. I am excited to get to know Melbourne and all of the things it has to offer. I enjoy sports, music, theater and socializing. Keen to meet people with similar interests or someone to have a laugh with. Really easy going and a fun guy to be around - I am very relaxed but also very respectable when it comes to communal spaces and sharing a house. I have experience in bar tending and cocktail making - one of the reasons I wanted to move to Melbourne was to experience the extensive cocktail industry that Melbourne has to offer. Please drop me a message so I can swing by and have a look at the room!! Cheers, Tom
What is up! Happy to virtually introduce myself, looking for some cool peeps or an empty place for my best mate and myself I'm a self employed multi media artist I'm ambiverted I'll love to spend some time with my housemates and time on my own for sure.
I have recently moved back from the UK and looking for a new place to live. I work full time in a bank in the city from 8-5, looking for somewhere closer to the city than where I'm staying at the moment. I prefer a good book, a glass of wine and dinner at home than a party but don't mind a couple of drinks on a friday night to relax. Tidy person who loves to travel.
Andrew Nixon here, my friend Issak and I are moving down to the city to study at Deacon University exercise science and pharmaceutical science at Monash. We will both be working 3/4 days a week as well so will have a reliable and stable income. Hope to here back from you 😊
