Hey guys, I'm Mitch! I'm moving away from Sydney to get some of these great Melb vibes! I am easygoing, love animals and am super creative. I also suck at these biography type things, but whatever.. I've been entering a lot of film festivals and am training to be a scriptwriter - so you know I've got those dope movie and Netflix recommendations. Also love a boardgame or videogame (I completely suck at Mario Kart, so I'll probably boost your ego too!) I'm looking for people who are able to clean up after themselves and are genuinely great people to hang out with! I love a drink or two with my housemates, but I also enjoy a bit of alone time too - and understand that people need space. I’ve been in student accommodation, share houses and have always paid rent on time, so I am an experienced and considerate housemate if that's what you're after. If you also want to be involved in a couple short films, or are just into the more creative side, hit me up! I'd love to chat. 🙌
I'm from Scotland. I will be arriving in Melbourne on a WHV late December to enjoy the last year of my twenties. I'm passionate about live music and attend a lot of events. I also enjoy chilling out with a glass of wine and something good on Netflix. As for what I'd want most out of a house share - somewhere peaceful and quiet with people who value their own space and each others company in equal measure.
Hello! I from Colombia and Ive been living two years in Melbourne, finishing my master and working part time. I am a calm, easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I enjoy having a quiet space, a place I can call home where I can rest and I can find peace and tranquility. I do not smoke, I drink socially but I am not a lover of big parties in my house. In my free time at home I like to read and meditate when I'm away I love to dance salsa and explore the city. I speak Spanish so I would love to help if someone wants to practice or improve. Im also up to team up with someone to have our own space. Im not picky about the area but I do prefer public transport on a walking distance, preferably Tram or Train.
I put the fun in funny, the wit in witty andddddd that's all I have. I'm employed and pay my bills on time, I enjoy socialising but also thoroughly enjoy my private time. Sleep is a #1 fave hobby of mine and so is having a few cheeky alcoholic beverages. I'm not 100% great at adulting but I'm trying and that's all that matter, right? I'm looking for a place thats close to public transport, has really cool housemates and Wi-Fi a must! Would ideally love a bed already in the room and a wardrobe would be lovely. Other than that, I'm a pretty chill chick.
Hey guys, I am student working part-time in hospo near Chapel Street. Very easy-going, cleand and tidy. I don't mind the chill but am not a party monster. Looking for nice place to call home for the next 6 to 12 months. Love to socialize with the roomates and explore the city.
Hey everyone, I'm moving to Melbourne around Jan 17th (exact date not booked yet) after living in sharehouses in Sydney for three years. I'm originally from Perth. Going to be studying Honours in psychology part-time and working part-time. I'm tidy and respectful, good at cleaning but not a clean freak. I'm pretty chill and easy going and enjoy my time to myself but also like having company in the evenings. Love opening a wine with my housemates when we get the chance. I'm hoping to find something for around 200/week including bills and expenses. I also enjoy drawing, music, reading and watching sbs on demand! I usually cook for myself but open to whatever system you have going. I have been living with three lovely cats in my Sydney flat so I don't mind animals at all. If you want a warm and relaxed person around who's also reliable with payments let me know! Amelia xx
Hi there, I've recently returned to study (nursing) and can no longer afford to rent on my own. I'm a down-to-earth and fairly quiet person, so I'm happy to do my own thing but equally enjoy conversation over shared meals or staying in and watching movies with friends and flatmates. When I'm not studying, I work a few days in retail and do some volunteering. I'm house proud, but not obsessed with cleaning, and am mindful of keeping communal spaces tidy. I'm looking for a comfortable, calm place in a hip area with bars and artsy places to go out and meet new people. I've lived on and off in France for four years and enjoy all things French. My other interests include travel, learning new languages, cinema, photography, hiking and cycling. I'm no Masterchef but I do like to cook. I love live music, particularly indie artists.
I am a young girl from the UK on my second year working holiday and looking for a place to call home for a few months. I am currently working in St.kilda in hospitality and want a place where I can chill out and have a chat with my roomates. I am very easy going and friendly, love to cook and read, as well as enjoying a good live band and a few drinks with like minded people.
Hey, my name is Cian! I’m on the working holiday visa having just moved from Ireland. I’m looking for a room for sometime in the middle of January. I’m signed to an agency that gets me temporary office work on the regular. I’ll be working full time during the week Monday to Friday and off at the weekends. I like to keep it pretty chill weekdays and go out and about at the weekends. I enjoy a party or two but quiet nights in as well. I’m super clean and would love to mix and make friends with housemates but also allow some space and “me time”.
Hello! I’m Maie (May) and I'm looking to move into a new share house with some fun, ambitious, outgoing and like minded people. I'm fun, outgoing, organised and tidy, and extremely punctual with rent and bills. I'm a professional working a fine dining restaurant in Docklands, with a psychology and criminology degree. As well as owning my own cheesecake business! Which means a lifetime supply of cheesecakes for my lucky housemates! I love to travel, meet new people and am extremely ambitious and highly motivated. I enjoy a mixed lifestyle of both quite nights in conversing over red wine and house cooked meal as well socialising with friends over breakfast and dinners! Being an extremely laid back chilled person there is not much that ever brothers me making me quite the housemate!
I am 24 yo Indian guy, doing my masters, and figuring out my life. I have lived in shared accomodation facilities. And i love to meet and make friends with new people. So, i look forward to hear from you.
Hi there, my name is Zoe. I am a 29 professional working full time in Victoria Public Service based in the city and studying part-time. During the week I try to keep healthy by eating well and exercise where I can. On the weekends, I enjoy doing the Melbourne thing by eating out and socialising with friends and family but also like my downtime. I enjoy cooking (but also love an Uber eats night occasionally) and very happy to share food/cooking with housemates. I am clean, easy going, respectful of others, always up for a chat but also happy doing my own thing. I am originally from NSW but now call Melbourne after almost five years. I have been very fortunate to live in shared houses in the past where my housemates have turned into long-term friendships. I would love to find like-minded individuals who like to make their house a home. Feel free to shoot me a message if you'd like to know anything else. I look forward to hearing from you!
Very polite and gentle. Well organized and professional. Like friendly ambient from light and good music to discussion about life, arts, the universe and good books. World traveller with a lot of experience and knowledge. Been everywhere except South and North pole. Great friend and supporter. Extremely reasonable. Very tidy, clean and quiet personality. Like laughing and jokes. Looking for fully furnished, clean and tidy place with internet. Worship the life and appreciate good and friendly people. Non-smoker and reliable friend. Close public transport advantage. Looking for a dissent clean place from a three months to more.
Hi, I am Vik from India. I currently work full time as Mechanical Deisgner in Braeside. I am an open-minded person who respects people's privacy and personal space. Few things I enjoy are Coffee, food, music and yoga. I am a vegetarian and looking for a house or apartment near by my workplace. I am quite and tidy and prefer to stay in a peaceful environment.
I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura
Hey im Kayla, I am looking for a room around south melbourne even south east Melbourne. I am a chef that’s works most nights and will be starting to study marketing as of next year I will be mainly keeping to myself but always down for convos and food. Ask me questions!
I work full time as an environmental consultant, like to keep things clean, enjoy baking, gardening and brunch on the weekends. Looking for some easy going housemates who enjoy having a drink every now and then but not looking for a party house.
I work full time as a counsellor. I really value kindness and compassion. You will find me someone who is very clean and organised. I can be very easy to talk to and love to help :). I would prefer a house that is quiet and private but, I am flexible. Hope we can get a conversation going.
Hey there! I’m Jess a 28 year old kindergarten teacher. Currently in the market for a place that myself and my 7 year old pooch can call home. I work full time hours as a teacher in St Kilda and am looking for somewhere close by as the transit to and from work is killing me at the moment! Would love to move into a place with other social people who are happy to have a drink and a laugh but who are also respectful of quiet nights in. I love to keep healthy and end up at the gym on most nights. I am vegetarian but pretty easy going with others eating meat around me. I love to draw, read, exercise and travel the world on crazy adventures. I have lived in a share house previously so I know what is involved in maintaining a happy household. I am super clean and would preferably like to live with housemates who are similar. I will be moving with my 7 year old staffy who is a big, soft meatball. He is super friendly with other dogs and tolerates cats. He is extremely well behaved, trained and prefers to spend every waking moment with hoomans. I'm pretty keen to move soon so would love to hear from you! :)
I am from Mongolia, studying and working part time jobs. I am clean, tidy, and respectful (living is easy with me). Can be fun and loves to cook.
I work a couple of casual jobs in community health and pt social work degree. Social welfare and justice are important. That keeps me busy. My work can be pretty stressful so I can be zoned when I get in. I can work funny hours too so again I sleepy or awake late. But I have headphones to watch stuff on my laptop. I have dog's and a cat who are my world. And I have a cat too, inside. Think would keep in my room when I am out. All pretty friendly and lazy. I cook for myself but happy to have a share sometimes. For fun I love live music, going to the NGV, the beach, pizza and shopping! I am looking for a chill house. I am a bit of a lefty. So social welfare and justice are important to me. Heck not sure what else to write....and I think it says that I am John as that's my Facebook name weird.... I am great to live with as I pay my bills on time and quiet, a mix of social and keeping to myself. I am a fun loving, down to earth, gentleman who is looking for a new place to stay with positive people and good vibes. I get along really well with almost everyone I encounter and enjoy a good conversation, when the time is right. i usually work and also go to gym on average about 5 days a week. when i am home i spend most of my time sleeping or watching films. (alone in my own room, however i do like to watch some series with some people fanatically). An ideal house for me will have some space with sunlight and a good energy where i can practice yoga or meditate. I make a great housemate as I am very considerate, hygienic, clean (but not ocd), easy going and lighthearted. one of my best attributes would be that I am a deep sleeper, so you do not need to worry about tip toeing around me. i usually prefer to drink tea but do enjoy the occasional glass of red wine with my housemates. please only contact me if you have a space in the suburbs or neighbouring suburbs that i selected. thank you :) Josh
