WHAT MAKES ME GREAT TO LIVE WITH: I pay my bills on time. I am not judgemental and I am very understanding. I am super open-minded. I am a clean freak although I do not expect my housemates to be the same. I love good food, vibes and wine from time to time! ABOUT ME: I work in the mining industry and love what I do. This can mean long hours and working most days. Even still I do pull my weight around the house and keep on top of chores, I’m hardworking and very respectful towards people. Interested in building good friendships and a nice place to stay so we can all come home to a warm welcoming place. I’m very approachable so feel to contact me at anytime if you would like to discuss anything further!
Hi! I am a friendly, respectful, kind, considerate, warm, fun, communicative, genuine, honest and reliable person and am looking to share with others who are also. I have lots of house sharing experience. I’m easy going, flexible, clean and tidy and enjoy sharing. Most importantly, I seek mutually respectful and considerate shared-living relationships. I am respectful of other people’s needs, interests and privacy - appreciating both social and quiet times - and seek the same in return. I have a background in the arts, social work and am a human rights activist for refugees. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Currently, I work 4 days a week as well as on arts projects and events from time to time including art exhibitions and performing arts events. I am also a dancer, did contemporary in the past and have studied the Feldenkrais Method. Currently, I work in human rights - refugees. I’m an active and positive person, am interested in health and live on a plant-based diet. I go out Salsa and Latin dancing regularly and have a broad interest in ideas, music, culture, the arts, film, nature and the environment. Love to be near the sea, trees, parks and gardens and go for walks. Naturally more of a night owl than a rooster person. I respect other people’s schedules, activity, quiet, rest and sleep needs - as I would wish people to equally respect mine. Use headphones to be quiet at night or any other time working on laptop etc - flexible with functioning :-)
We're a Belgian couple, both 30 and here on a work and holiday visa. We are tidy, peaceful people, both with fulltime jobs. After work and during weekends we love to visit the city, go for a walk, hit the gym or load up on fresh food at the South Melbourne Market. We're looking to stay in Melbourne til the end of January, possibly even longer.
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and fastidious. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm looking for home I can be comfortable in, and has a friendly, safe and open environment. This is imperative as I am more of a home body. Respect is also key regarding interaction between housemates as well as respect for belongings. I would like a bedroom door that is lockable and would prefer to live in a house, but open to apartment only if there is a balcony with view or a courtyard as apartments can get claustrophobic. 😜☺️
Hey Hey, I am looking to move to the city early next year and wanted to start making some inquiries. I am a 30 yr old youth worker currently working at the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council full time. I am also studying a degree in social welfare/social science. I am clean, respectful, kind and love to have a laugh. I would be happy to do a team up so we could get a place of our own. I would be looking to live with people between the ages of 25-40. If you think I could help you please contact me. Cheers
I’m a 30yr old British girl (with the grey hair in photo) on a working holiday visa, working full time in retail. Looking to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months. Preferably would like to be living in St Kilda/balaclava or as close as possible to these areas. I enjoy chilling during the week watching a good Netflix series and like to have a few drinks on the weekend. I’m very bubbly, love a chat and a laugh, easy to get along with and I’m very tidy and clean. Please get back to me to arrange a viewing if you think I’m a suitable flat mate or have any rooms that you think are suitable. Thanks Carla
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for work and looking to find a good place to live with an awesome housemate or two. I'm pretty flexible with move dates but looking between now and end of Nov. I'm looking to find a nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place and I'm happy to pay between 250-350 a week. Ideally I'm looking to have the master room with an ensuite and I'm happy to pay a higher portion of the rent for it, I also don't have a car so wouldn't need a car space. (Not completely against sharing a larger place with 2 roomies if the right deal comes along). I have furniture in storage and have enough to fully furnish the house. I'm a full time mon-fri worker in insurance, located in Brighton. I'm quite clean and prefer a comfortable but tidy household. Im generally pretty quiet and and a bit of an introvert during the week but do enjoy to be social and like to get out and about and also have friends over for dinner or drinks intermittently. Hoping to find someone similiar, who can be social but also enjoys having downtime. Also LGBT+ friendly is a must. Hit me up if you've got a place that suits or keen on teaming up and finding a place!
Hi Im Annabelle~ I’m working full time 9-5 in a CBD office within the financial planning industry. During the week I lay pretty low and usually go to the gym/cook. Weekends I’m catching up with friends over brunchs/dinners or at the beach. I am easy to get along with and respect peoples space/belongings, neat, self efficient, I do enjoy time to myself but also equally enjoy catching up on the days events on the couch. I’m flexible with the move date, anytime between now and mid november preferably..
Looking to team up with one or two people anywhere in the south east - hoping Bayside. I work full time as a firefighter (4 days on 4 days off) and usually busy on my days off too! I’m usually quite busy out at night at gym/training when not on night shifts and often away visiting family on the coast on days off. I like to get out for bike rides and swimming in warmer months. I'm tidy and like to live in a clean space - bit of a handy man and love gardening. I prefer a social environment with music over a TV watching environment - but respect my housemate's individual needs for their weekly fix of I also play music (guitar and piano generally when no one is home!). I have some furniture, so happy to provide or split the goods - I'm flexible with what works. Looking for a potential 2 or 3 bedroom place with a total of 2 or 3 people :)
We are an easy going couple. I am working full time and my husband is part time and studying masters at Deakin University. We respect house rules and like to keep to ourselves but don't mind socializing occasionally. Good with chores.
Hey, I'm Dan - working full time in burwood, looking for somewhere within ~25ish minutes of work ideally on the south east side of town! Preferably on a longer than 6 month term, keeping under a budget of $650 p/month but hey if you've got something outside of that but the value for money is there I'm negotiable. I'm a very easy going dude. Like too easy going. You have no idea just how easy it is for me to get going, oh boy. Get more from your roommate with Dean Pelton/Tobias Fünke like witticisms such as that one, on the reg with yours truly in the house - go out and get yourself a Dan, today! Strengths: I own a ps4, projector and french press knows how bad I am at guitar and will never subject you to it Weaknesses: Devilishly handsome Enjoys paying bills on time Can sometimes be too respectful of people’s space and privacy Tries too hard to be funny My weaknesses aren’t really weaknesses The dog doesn’t live with me anymore - sorry (If you noticed (AND RESPECTED) that I had the dedication to go google tobias funke, copy paste the ü just for that bit then we are either destined flatmates, either way hit me up)
I am a quiet and neat, full-time worker. I am very easy to get along with, I do have a dog which I hope isn't a problem, she is a quiet, obedient golden retriever - she pretty much just sleeps all day. I am flexible with the length of the lease but ideally up to 1 year.
Working afternoon and evenings Monday to Friday shift type work. Very relaxed, not much bothers me. Very social and often out with friends or out getting some exercise. Home is to cook, eat, sleep and enjoy some quality banter with friends. Ideally live with someone/people i can become friends with
Hey, i am new in Melbourne. Came here to study this Wednesday. And i need a place to be very soon or litlle late is okay too. Right now staying at my friends house. Studying at centre of city Queen st so need place not far from centre. Feel free to contact me i will be very happy when you contact me. I am Asian (Mongolian), i don’t think that will be problem. I am respectful, clean, tidy and love sports. Very interested in AFL i don’t know the rules but it looks very interesting and dynamic sport. I am very friendly person and love to make new friends. hope you will contact me. Let’s be friends. Love animals btw they are so cute.
I’m relaxed and can get along with everyone. I am able to mould to any situation and deal with change well. I enjoy staying active and have a stable full-time job so won’t be a worry for you from week to week. I have my own interests and hobbies but so also won’t be a pain to have around the house. As I come from a big family, I do pull my weight around the house with the cooking and cleaning.
Hey, I'm a 20y/o Scottish girl looking for some where to stay until February when I leave Melbourne to do my farm work . Ideally Id like to stay close to the beach and quiet... I get that's hard to accommodate but that's the dream. I plan on doing some travelling in the first few months but likely it will just be at the weekends so I can have a week day job as well. Love a night out as much as a movie night with snacks as long as I'm in good company. I'm quite a clean and organised person and that would reflect on my room and living space. Would be more than happy to stay with any animal but if you have a dog, please I'd love it if I could stay with you. I'm always looking for a good time and to make friends but also will respect others space. Land in Melbourne on the 8th of November
Hi Guys, I'm an Italian/Colombian guy moving to Melbourne this early November. I'm clean, tidy and I find extremely important have a good relationship with the other roommate and give each other space. I like to go out and enjoy a drink, watching TV series, going to the gym and cooking. Let me know if you're interested Cheers Andrés
Everything! I'm laid back but organised and fun with a good sense of humour. I could potentially be the best housemate you've ever had. Hit me up if you have a nice clean house, are easy going yet mature, and enjoy being sociable. I'm not a rowdy person and am very clean and tidy without being a possessive neat freak. I'm outgoing and love balancing my working life with an exciting and fun personal life. The main things i'm looking for in a flat is: -Like minded flatmates - Spaciousness - Going home to a positive and relaxing environment - Great location HMU, It takes so much to sift through the listings everyday so you'll be doing me a favour :)
I'm a clean and organised person, however I wont be forcing it upon you. I'm studying nursing at the moment while working at the Alfred hospital in their linen department. I like to have cheeky drinks every now and then and am happy to head out on the town, but more than happy to have quiet nights in. I don't really have any friends in Melbourne, so you wont have to worry about me bringing people over when you just want to be alone. that being said, it would be great to make some friends with potential housemates.
