Hey. My names Ben I'm 23 currently working full time as a carpenter. I'm a pretty relaxed house mate. Enjoy my sports going to the beach and socialising with mates. Bills are always paid on time and always clean up after myself.
I am an easy going, friendly, clean and organised 32 year old female. I work full time in the city in the finance industry. I work Monday to Friday 9-5. I like to keep quite a healthy and active lifestyle and like to keep fairly busy but do enjoy unwinding with quiet nights chilling on the couch. I enjoy relaxing with a good glass of wine and a nice meal or heading to the pub for a beer and would be happy to share with someone who would be up for that too. I am quite social and enjoy a chat and a drink but am by no means a party animal, I enjoy my sleep too much these days! I very much enjoy my down time and will always respect your time, space and privacy. I am looking for something long term 6 months + and a place where I can feel at home.
I just turned 26, I'm Irish and over here in Oz on a working visa I worked as a Social Care Worker back home for 2 years but felt that I wanted a change so moved to Oz at the start of January 2017 I recently got a full time job with a construction company in Melbourne I love playing/watching all sports and having a few beers I am very social-able and feel I would make a great house mate If you wanna know anything more about me please feel free to ring or text me :)
Full time visual merchandising TAFE student seeking house or flat share situation (private room) with one or two females. FIrst time living out of home but well versed in the basics of running a household and being responsible. It will be a new experience living with people other than family for the first time, so having a flat mate/s a bit older would probably suit well. Will be mostly studying during the week but using weekends to let hair down and be with friends/interact socially. Personality is a bit quirky (in a good 'sense of humour' way), creative and articulate. Mother (in pic) is helping search to find the right fit.
Hey! I'm Harley. I'm a 25 year old Male currently living in South Yarra. I moved over here around 3 years ago and at that stage wanted to live near the city. Now I've been hereading a bit I'm wanting to move out further. I work full time and am a very respectful person. I'm clean and tidy without being OCD and dont throw parties. But in saying that I don't mind a couple beers now and then. I am looking for a stable house hold because I genuinely hate moving and everything that comes with it. thanks
My name is Sari I am 41 years young! I am a chef manager & work Monday to Friday. I am considerate of other people & very tidy. I like to keep busy on the weekends & catch up with friends. I am easy going & It would be nice to live with someone who would like to share a bottle of wine now & then & have a laugh.
Hey there! I'm urgently looking for a new place to live with cheap-ish rent by the end of February at the lastest!! I'm a pretty easy going gal to live with. I would prefer my own room, Im usually busy with a lot going on but i love to just chill out at the end of the day, i'm also a clean & tidy person. I'm trying to save up so i have 3 jobs, I'm a nanny, i work in a bar and i also work as a model. Im going back toto uni this year to study interior design at RMIT! I go to gym sometimes, so i'm trying to be healthy, but deep down I'm a guilty sweet tooth and chocolate addict. I've lived in Melbourne for almost a year now, i'm originally from Queensland but i love it here in Melbourne and I'm here to stay.
I am originally from uk. Been in Melbourne 3 years now. I work in city and also study so this keeps me pretty busy. Looking for somewhere to call home. While I am sociable I am not looking for a party house but do enjoy the odd glass of wine or two with housemates. I am very reliable with rent and bills and can provide references to back this up.
Hello! I'm looking for a base in Melbourne as spend part of my time 1.5 hours out of the city. I work for myself - teaching yoga and am building another new tech based business, plus doing some part time studies. I have a really good renting track record and it's because my time is divided that I'm keen to share in the city rather than manage another house independently. I keep a healthy lifestyle and home is usually a quiet space for me - although I do love music... I'd do well living with like minded people with similar values and routines - healthy, conscientious folk. I'm very easy around the house and happy to keep a house flowing well, clean and tidy! I've ticked "pets" because I have a rescue dog who currently spends most of her time where I am down the coast. I'd like a place though that there'd be potential to bring her to town if I needed to. I don't expect a house where she would live f/t. Happy to answer any other qus!
I'm a Landscaper from Geelong who has recently got a new job with a Melbourne company, looking for somewhere to live for 6-12months, potentially more until I find my feet. I'm a clean freak, neat and tidy, can keep to myself and enjoy my own time, but more than happy to socialise together also. Enjoy most sports, and love to talk about it, I play Aussie Rules, enjoyed the gym and I don't mind pets at all :)
Recently single, gay man. I am a very tidy person, like to keep things clean but I am not too pedantic. Enjoy cooking, gaming, gotta get back to the gym though. Definitely enjoy a nice bevvy and friendly chats about whatever. Of course, I know when it's time to be alone as well. Just quit smoking, feeling a hundred times better for it
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, I'm from England and currently on a working holiday visa. I'm in Tassie at the moment finishing farm work and will be arriving back in Melbourne around the 5th of February and will be looking to move in pretty much straight away. I'm looking for a place either until the 18th of March (as I'm off travelling for a month) or longer term as I plan to come back and stick around in Melbourne for a while after my travels! I'm looking for a private room in a place with friendly housemates. I'm pretty quiet at home and like my own space but also like to spend some time watching tv or eating together. I've been living in a hostel for the past 3 months so I'm used to sharing and tidying up after myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (preferably a train station) and ideally with some shops and cafes nearby or within easy reach. A yoga studio close by would also be perfect!
Hi, I'm Emma; 29 y.o. Interior Design qualified bartender- working weekends at the moment but seeking full-time work. I'm currently sharehousing in Windsor but our lease is up next month and I need to find a new place by the 4th of Feb. In my spare time you'll find me trying to squeeze in a Zumba class at the gym or at the nearest Mexican restaurant with a taco in one hand and sangria in the other. I also enjoy cooking, music festivals and gigs, spontaneous trips to the beach, and the occasional (or bi-weekly) wine. Please note: coffee is a daily requirement. I'm fully sharehouse trained- I've been doing this for awhile now! I clean up after myself and will participate in any weekly cleaning activities. I'm respectful of others and although I enjoy sharehouse hangs and sharing the occasional meal, of course understand that people need their own space sometimes.
Hi my names Eleni, i'm 22 and i've lived in melbs for 2.5 years originally from tassie, i moved over with work (i'm a retail manager in mens wear) i'm fun, relaxed and outgoing i take pride in where i live apart from my room hehe, i love fashion and clothes. i'm clean and tidy and i'm Greek so i must like to cook (jokes I'm shit i can steam and microwave but i'm 10/10 for menu log) my weekends if i'm not at work i'm heading to chapel street for a couple of drinks and a crazy time. I smoke full time and drink part time but trust me you'll have a good time living with me cause isn't that what life is all about having fun?
*** Please no room shares :) *** Independent but always down for a catch up or an adventure to places I haven't been in Melbourne yet. I'm originally from NZ but spent most of the year travelling through the UK and Aus. Working full time in business development and finishing my masters thesis which keeps me busy but I also like to get out and about in the weekends with my friends. I also play netball and beach volley competitively so ideally looking for a flat with like-minded individuals who keep active. Take pride in where I stay so like to keep it clean and tidy though a few dishes as you're running out the door is nothing to go crazy about. I also love wine, food and coffee and am always down for a brunch mission or a drink out although late nights aren't my speciality these days.. Looking for somewhere long term 6 months+ and would ideally like to move in with people my age as I intend to make friendships as well as flatmates.
I'm working full time as a lawyer for the government and I'm looking for a fun loving yet a professional household. I'm a good spirited and adventurous character who loves socialising and having a drink, but also requires alone time to recharge. I love playing board games, hanging out and binge watching TV. I cook reasonably often and enjoy sharing meals. I'm a pretty active person and will usually have a dinner or a drink after work with friends and go out on the weekends. Sometimes though I just need to chill on the couch like a vegetable. I think sharing homes can be a great way how to meet new people and make new connections - however it can also be incredibly challenging, so I recommend that we have a drink and see if we are compatible.
**PLEASE NOTE - AVAILABLE TO MOVE 1ST OF FEB*** *I will be flying down again within the next two weeks, I am also happy to Skype-video call also as soon as possible, looking to lock in a place asap* Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.
Clean and tidy, work full time during the week and some weekend work. Happy to be social and have a drink and dinner as a flat but also repect personal space etc. Generally not home weekends and enjoy sports(just getting into kiteboarding), I wakeboard and play soccer. Often out adventuring exploring the city and Vic and go home to NZ a few times a year. Also am a Kiwi so +/- points for that ;)
Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
I'm 33yo and work full-time as a Sales Coordinator. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and enjoy exploring different places to eat and drink. My Netflix account is populated by chick flicks and docos which I enjoy watching with others, preferably with a glass of wine in one hand and a cupcake I baked earlier in the other. I'm getting back into dancing and exercise after giving up cheerleading and competitive aerobics. I'm looking for a clean household with friendly housemates who like to chat and have a laugh.
I am a final year medical student studying full time. I am clean and organised and while I like my alone time, I also enjoy socialising with housemates. I have previously lived in share houses (2013-2015). I am from Brisbane but study in Melbourne during the university semester. My hobbies include crafting, listening to music and baking food. - I am currently looking for unfurnished rooms as I have my own bed, study desk, etc.
I do shift work for a living so not always around, clean and respectful love a drink or 10 but can also drink 10 cups of tea if it's that's kinda night and enjoy being sociable with housemates
Hi there! I'm excited to be moving from regional NSW to Melbourne for pilot training at Moorabbin. I'm friendly, outgoing, organised, clean and tidy. I enjoy sport and a healthy active lifestyle. Ideally, a share house with females in the 18 to 30 age bracket within a 20min radius of Moorabbin would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you.

One Aussie, one Brit, one hilarious combo. We foster kitties sometimes, so a furfriendly household would be ideal! Retail and hospitality are our game and we love a good bargain at Aldi. Looking for easy going, LGBT friendly folks to share a home with.
Laid back, very easy going. Enjoy being social in my spare time. Work long hours. Like getting out and about but also like quiet time at home. Enjoy a drink or meal with flatmates when time suits.
Hey All! I'm a chilled 24 year old student that also works 2 part time jobs. I have lived out of home from 17 so I know very well how to clean up after myself and take the rubbish out and all that 😄 I am mostly looking for people to team up with to look for a house (probably 2-3 others) in the areas stated above but not excluded to. Looking for some cool cats that are also chilled and don't mind if I bring some friends around occasionally. Honestly I do like to party and will stumble in the door from revs at midday. As long as you don't judge me all good. Even better if you're with me 😆 NOTE: ONLY LOOKING FOR HOUSES WITH YARDS, NO UNITS (cause I'm over them and need an entertaining area) What I offer: 1: All the free out of date alcohol your heart desires (one of my jobs is at a bottle store) 2. A fridge constantly stocked with healthy treats (I love to make these) 3. Banter for days 4. A rad group of friends im sure you'd love 5. so much love for any of your pets if you have any (im an animal lover) Looking forward to hearing of anyone that thinks we will get along :)
Hello good peeps, I am a laid back accounting/business management professional of 31years. I am local to the SE suburbs and am looking for somewhere to replace my previous awesome abode in Caulfield North. I work 9-5, like things relatively tidy and am happy to work into a whatever chores schedule is the go. Interests include economics/politics/business (boring eyy?) and also keeping fit, coffee, getting out for a few drinks on the we and a couple crappy TV shows. All up, I am looking for somewhere easy going and friendly where I can basically mostly do my thing but also have some social atmosphere at home. Cheers big ears
I am 26 years old, originally from Adelaide, but I was living in Melbourne for several years, up until the start of 2016, at which point I spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia and India. I am currently back living in Adelaide, but moving to Melbourne once again, to commence professional, full-time work in my field of product design. I enjoy music; listening to it as well as playing a range of instruments (mostly guitar – but don’t worry, I am very considerate of noise levels in a share house!) and I regularly go out to see live bands. My other passion (and profession) is design and I often attend the many design/art related events, openings and exhibitions that Melbourne constantly has to offer. Other than that, I love all things food and coffee related and will usually jump at any chance to try out a new café or restaurant (or bar! although in that case, “food and coffee” will be substituted for “beer and/or wine”). I’m quite partial to getting out in that rare and elusive bit of Melbourne sun, for a walk or bike ride on the weekends and when I’m at home, I enjoy a good movie, documentary or Netflix/tv show binge. As a housemate, I am very easy to live with. I will be working full-time hours, so I will generally only be home in the evenings and weekends, I am neat and tidy, sociable but also considerate of other peoples’ space and belongings (you won’t even have to label your food in the fridge!), happy to do my bit when it comes to housekeeping and always pay rent and any bills on time. I have an extensive history of living in share houses, both in Adelaide and Melbourne and I can provide references from a previous private rental agency or past housemate/landlord if required. If you think I could be your future housemate, I would ideally be looking for a move-in date around the 25th of January (I begin work on the 30th January), although I can be flexible if it’s a matter of a few days either way. Unfortunately, as I am currently in Adelaide, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet in person before I get to Melbourne (and hopefully by then I have secured a place to live – fingers crossed!), however, I am more than happy to have a chat on the phone or even arrange a Skype call if you would like to talk in a somewhat face-to-face manner. Hit me up! Tom
Hi there, my name is Kat and I am a full-time student looking for a quiet and clean place to move it. Myself, between my 2 part-time jobs and uni I like to socialise and swim. Shoot me a message if you think we would make a good team.
23 American/Australian, I work Monday-Friday but I like to have a social life in the evenings and on the weekends. I am outgoing and bubbly and I like my alone time as well. When I am chilling at home it is usually watching tv or cooking yummy food.
Hi I'm Jono! I'm 25 years old and work full time in IT in the South Eastern Suburbs. I live a pretty busy life and often get home late. I'm looking for a quiet tidy house with friendly housemates in the St Kilda/Elwood/Prahran area. Give me a call to have chat! Cheers, Jono
Hi! My name's Jeremy. Looking for a new pad after returning from travel around Oz :) What I can offer you: I'm a gardener/designer and used to build houses so I have carpentry/handyman skills. Happy to help maintain y/our place, and maybe grow us some vegies. I'm quiet, considerate, clean and tidy, Responsible with bills and money, A bit of a minimalist, but would ideally love some shed/garage space for tools and a work area. I have a camper van which I can live out of if needed (but would need access to a toilet.) My interests are nature, camping, hiking, sustainability, health and fitness, and music. I am social, but enjoy my own space, and respect the same for my housemates. RRR, PBS, ABC, SBS. If you think Donald Trump is a great guy, let's not meet. Oh, I have a female dog who is adorable, a German Shorthair Pointer, elderly (11) and well trained. Can't part from her, she's my bestie! Would love to hear from you if you think we'd work well together. Thanks for looking...
Hey, I am easy going and extremely chilled. I work corporate world so I don't do much week nights. I Like to chat over a drink or meal. I Love cooking. I'm tidy. And I love watching movies especially horror haha not everyone's taste but I like them. Looking for something late Jan early feb
My name is Andy and I'm from England, I'm looking for either a share house or flat share. I'm easy going very chilled and I can clean up after myself! I like my space to chill but I don't mind socialising on a weekend. I am on a WHV but have been living in Melbourne for over a year. I always pay bills/rent on time with no excuses. Just looking for something that can fit a double bed in really. Thanks
Hey. I'm Louise, a 29 yr old UX designer from Ireland that just moved to Australia after 4 months months of backpacking around south east asia. I've been in some form of house share for the last decade, so I'm well house trained - clean, tidy, respectful of boundaries... the usual! I'm chilled out and open minded. Like me some vino, box sets, chats and cooking when not working & trying to get outdoors. Going to be working full time so looking for a social house, not a party house. But I'm fun, I swear! I'm not the best at bios so just message me if you've got any Q's. :) Also I can move in straight away & am flexible with leases. Really just looking for a basic private room in the burbs of Melbourne... somewhere with awesome housemates and reasonably decent access to the CBD :)
We are Elke and Brett, a Belgian couple of 26 years old and currently living in the Southbank area. I am studying a Human Resources course and working part time and Brett is working full time.
G'day all, we are two professional males in our late twenties, looking to team up with a third person to get a three bedroom inner-city sharehouse. Paddy and I have lived together in St Kilda for the last year with another mate who is unfortuantely returning back to his family suburb. Before that we were both living together in London. We are both working professionals I am a town planning consultant whilst Paddy is a primary school teacher. We have similar interests which involving traveling, watching and playing sports, social drinks with mates, trying new foods, camping, hiking, fishing etc... We are looking for a like minded person (preferably female) who won't just be a housemate but a friend who we can socialise with, yet appreciate privacy. So in short - NO HERMITS! We are looking at finding a new place around the middle of February, so happy to meet for a coffee and/or drink to get to know the right person and place before the big move!! Look forward to hearing from anyone shortly in a likeminded position. Cheers, Mat
I have lived in a sharehouse with friends for the past 3 years in Scotland. We loved living together and got along really well. I am very easy going but also clean up after myself. I have moved to Melbourne and am looking for somewhere to live in which I will feel comfortable, and meet great people.
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Hi I'm Shenae, I moved over from Perth a couple months ago, looking to share with one or two other people. Very friendly, tidy and clean, like to socialise but not a huge party girl. Working full time in beauty, trying to get into the fashion industry.
Heyo, My names Brogan and I am from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have just graduated from University and am moving to Melbourne to start a new job in a music studio. Hello! My name is Clara, I am 24 years old and work Monday-Friday in East Melbourne. I am currently looking for new accomodation for 2017. I am a friendly and easy going person looking for a home with like minded people. I enjoy my own space but also like to socialise with dinner or wine in the evenings with housemates. I wouldn't describe myself as a clean freak but I like to keep communal areas of the house clean and tidy. I am not fussy about which suburb I live in, walking distance to a train station is my only requirement! I am happy to live with one or two housemates. Please feel free to message me if you have a vacant room, thank you!
I'm moving from Berlin to Melbourne in march. I'm going to do a 3-month exchange as a final-year medical student. That's why looking to find a place that will feel like home and not just a place to stay. :)
Hi guys! We are two easygoing Italian girls (19 and 24) who are looking for a house/flat to share with someone. We are clean, tidy, sociable. We love chatting and share some meal and, above all, we want to improve our English and meet new people, make new friends. At the moment I'm taking an English course in a college and I'm working full-time as waitress in a restaurant, while my friend comes to Melbourne at the end of january and she is going to look for a job and to study as well.
29, young, playful joker full of life and looking for someone similarly minded to live with... very relaxed and casual although i work in the big corporate world i have a knack for being able to switch off... As far as living with me? I'm clean, can cook, pretty well if you ask me! I mostly meal prep for the week but love doing a nice cook up to share with whoever's around. I'm quite social, enjoy entertaining, gym most mornings before work, out and about most weekends, up for shenanigans and whatever else the world wants to throw my way... Cleaning... not my favorite thing to do but always keeping common areas neat and tidy is important, you never know who might pop over!! In my current place we have a cleaner that comes in every two weeks, he's great (young bloke building his empire) I'd like to keep this as it allows more time to be out in the real world rather than cleaning toilets!! I've lived in share houses for a while now with both guys and girls with nothing but success and great friendships coming from it! Really looking forward to meeting you!
I am looking for a place to live closer to uni whilst i complete my bachelor in Criminology. I keep to myself but also love to socialise and have a few drinks. When not studying or at uni, I am working so I wont be around the house too much but I am more than happy to socialise with housemates when I am there. I am very self sufficient and like to live in a clean and happy environment. I look forward to meeting you :)

I work full time in the Finance industry in the CBD . When I'm not at work, I'm more than likely down at the beach or hanging with mates (low key, not too much of a party animal). I am social in the sense that I will sit outside & enjoy a cider, but at the same time like my own spaces Looking for someone who is chill and goes with the flow! I am fun & bubbly and am everything that you are looking for! Send me a message & we could be potential roomies! :)
Growing up in New Zealand and moving to Melbourne 5 years ago, I couldn't be prouder to call this city home. Being an only child and having my mum always occupied with work, I have spent the last year and a half living on my own whilst completing high school, holding a part-time job and developing a huge passion for the gym, amongst other things. I am extremely tidy, organised, mature, and value my solitude, but I also love meeting new people and am always down for a chat or a bit of banter. Most of the time you will find me lifting weights at the gym, working at my part-time job, catching up with a friend over brunch at some new trendy cafe, or winding down at home - most likely with a tub of ice cream.
Hi guys! I'm Mel, I'm 28 years old and working full-time in mental health. I am going back to uni next year to do my Masters, so looking for somewhere not too far from public transport. I'm a laid-back, friendly person, and I enjoy living in a harmonious, clean environment. I like all the usual things; live gigs and music, going out, travelling, markets and cider. I enjoy living with a friendly group of people, and socialising with them without treading on their toes. I like to have my own space from time to time, as I'm sure most people do, and I'm not looking for a overly crazy party house. Looking for an unfurnished room. I have some other furniture (lounge, armchair and fridge) so ideally looking for somewhere with some space.
I'm a professional working in the electricity industry and looking to move closer to where I currently work in Camberwell. Quite, clean and respectful of others privacy and like to keep things neat and tidy around the house. Looking for an unfurnished room, ideally with private bathroom but happy to share with other housemate.
