Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Hi, My name's Juliette. I'm 24 work part time in Melbourne CBD and have a two year old dog named Lola. I have grown up mostly in Melbourne but also lived overseas when I was younger. I love going to the movies, live music and going for adventurous walks with my dog. I'm friendly and get along with most people pretty much instantly :) I'm not a huge party girl but I do enjoy having dinner and a few drinks with my friends occasionally. I happily keep to myself most of the time but I'll always be up for a chat when you need.
Jake and I are both two passionate individuals who enjoy music, sport, cooking, and getting to know people. We are both planning to attend Monash Uni next year for music courses, but would like to live around the city. Coming from the Phillip Island, Jake and I love the beach, and we are both very down to earth. We love all things art, and we will be able to go to some cool and funky galleries, cafes, and performances when living around the city. Jake has a bit of OCD in terms of cleanliness, and will be a great addition to the household as a domestic partner. Emma is full of vim and vigour, and will bring interesting perspectives into the household. We are a couple of two and a half years, and definitely not full-on in terms of PDA!!! Being musicians, we obviously love gigging and jamming with mates.
Hi! We are a group of girls who met in Sydney and have become great friends. We've moved to Melbourne to settle for a few months and would ideally just love to unpack our stuff after living in hostels for 3 months! We range from 21 years of age to 23, and come from England and Northern Ireland. We're all very friendly with great senses of humour and enjoy the odd alcohol beverage, but we also love to stay in and chill out. We can all cook and take pride in being neat and tidy, and are also very respectful of each other and those around us. If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you soon, Samantha, Courtney and Carol
Hey, I'm Tess a 25 yr old female studying to be a primary school teacher. Alongside my study I have two jobs, one at a primary school and one in retail, so I am a fairly busy person! I am positive, clean and love a good laugh. I'm equally happy having a chill night on the couch or going out for dinner/drinks, and I like to exercise in my spare time. I have grown up in Melbourne but have lived overseas for a year and love to travel whenever i can afford it. I am looking for likeminded people who love to enjoy life. I've currently been renting in Cheltenham, but am happy to live anywhere from the city out to the south eastern suburbs.

I have a part time job at the moment so I'm mostly not around during the summer but is always up for hanging out with housemates and have a chill night in with good food and good company. Not a huge party person either. I'm currently looking for a room to let that ACCEPTS PETS and hopefully have hardwood flooring. Looking to start rent in early February. Cheers!
I'm a pretty relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for people happy to be friends with housemates. I'm working 2 jobs part time until I start an electrician apprenticeship in April, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! I have a super friendly 4-year-old Australian Terrier so a place with some kind of outside space is definitely needed. Looking to move in Jan.
Im an outgoing and friendly person. I work full time as a professional worker and Stydy. I am looking for a flatmate who is clean and tidy like me and who is easy to get along with. I enjoy my privacy and i respect other peoples privacy very much. I am looking to move in with someone as soon as possible and would prefer moving in with a female as I have found in my experience that females care more about the cleanliness of the house than males.
I'm an easy going person who absolutely loves plants! I have a habit of turning my room into an indoor forest, so I can hide away with a good book and some amazing food. I'm very social and easy going. I'm moving to the University of Melbourne to focus on studies, but I'm keen to join a share house where I look forward to coming home to a great bunch of friends!
I am an easy going female who keeps to herself. I have lived in many different share accommodations so find it easy to adapt. I currently work part time in a family business delivering fruit and vegetables and receive centerlink benefits. I recently received The diploma of community services ( AOD & Mental Health) and will be looking for work in this sector in the new year. Hey guys, I quit uni in Sydney a couple of months ago to move down here and make money for travelling the world! I'm currently working at riverland bar in the city which is awesome fun. I love music and cooking food (and eating :P) I'm a very social person and love to have people around that enjoy a good laugh!
I'm 26 years old, have a bachelor degree in Art and Media Management but I'm aspiring a career in coaching crossfit and functional fitness. I live an active life(running, speedrope, gymnastics rings). So while I'm here I want to fully experience Melbourne. I still don't have a job but I'm getting my white card and RSA to kickstart my life over here(gotta start somewhere😉). I have a lot of experience in hospitality as an bartender and I am willing to do every kind of job, except deskjobs(boring and not made for it). I'm open-minded, relax, adventerous and a good with people. What I'll bring to the house: good conversations, good vibes and some good meal prepping skills. I've partied a lot back home(Amsterdam), but my priorities now shifted.
Hi guys, a bit about us: Jing - Mid 20's, working full time in Funds Management, enjoys cooking good food and eating good food (of course, that's the whole point of cooking right); also trying to get in free cardio by cycling to and from work. Kelly - Mid 20's, full time Masters student, also works part time as a freelance writer. She is a really good Chef (Trust me I have pretty high standards when it comes to food), and enjoys dragging Jing around doing various things outdoors. About the place: Looking for a place in the east or south east and within 15kms of Melbourne CBD. Would like a master bedroom with own Ensuite and walk in robe. Most important thing for us is Cleanliness, applies double for the Kitchen. Common sense and respect are also very nice qualifies to have in house mates; we are always happy to make new friends as long as everyone also tries to consider others as well as themselves.
Hey! I'm a twenty-four year old female from England, I'm in Melbourne until mid March 2017 and looking for a place to stay. I currently work full-time in the CBD, and love to explore and keep fit on the weekends. I like to socialise but I'm also happy to keep myself to myself when needed. I am looking for a private room in a furnished property.
Hi, I'm Isabella, a 23 year old student from Germany working on my degree in psychology. I'll be studying at Monash (Caulfield) for a semester as an exchange student starting in February :) I'll be staying until mid July, so I'm looking for a place to stay at for about 6 months, but I can be a bit flexible . A bit about me: I love art (museums, exhibitions, doing some of my own, you name it), music, reading, exploring and being outdoors. I'd describe myself as chatty, very open-minded and easy-going. I've been sharing an apartment for 2,5 years now and it's always been great getting to know new people, maybe going out together for a drink sometime or doing other activities together. I've spent some time living in different countries and it's always been a great experience so far. If you're looking for a friendly, down-to-earth and fun roomie, I'd love to hear from you! Isabella :)
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
Heya my names Glennys I'm 21 and I work full time in Fashion Design. Im looking for a nice little Bayside home preferably to share with girls of similar age. Im fun, friendly and socialable but do also like my own time. And im looking to move out as soon as possible xx
I am a Student in Monash Uni, Masters in Business Information Systems. Quite chill on all aspects of life. To each their own. Like to travel, explore, party occasionally, 420 is da bomb. Also quite involved in technology, working on a start-up right now. Looking for a nice and easy going atmosphere.
Hi there, this is David. I'm a graphic designer and artist from Bogota, Colombia. I'm looking for a nice place to live with happy and easy going people. At the moment I'm studying and working part time. Im really chill guy, pretty much into art, design, cultural activities, sport and cool parties.
I'm quiet and clean, I love keeping gardens and reading in them. Otherwise i like playing around with new recipes in the kitchen. I do odd jobs for a living to bring in money but have centrelink to fall back on when its not the season for work.
I work part-time and am also a part-time student at Monash. I enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I play a bit of social netball and am currently enjoying F45 as well. I’m not a crazy neat freak, but I do like to keep the house neat and tidy. I'm not a party-animal either, but I do love socialising at bars, and I'm a big fan of brunch, because breakfast food is the best food...
hey i am johnnie, im 31 years old working full time in the credit area of ANZ LEGAL and I'm a fully qualified remedial masseur. i am a very easy going person, very clean and reliable. I am pretty active, like going to the gym, movies, going out for a dance on the weekend sometimes, and relaxing at home on sunday ready to go work on mondays... i enjoy staying home and watching dvd's as much as going out with friends.. i like my space as but that doesn't mean i like sitting in bedroom 24/7. i like having a nice conversation big or small.. if i am the sort of person you are looking for then please don't hesitate to respond.. LOOKING TO MOVE BY ASAP. but i can take as long as i want, as person i'm living with is a friend of mine.
My girlfriend and I are recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a room in a friendly house share. Both Irish, friendly and outgoing couple. Susan is very creative and works as a graphic designer while I work in Motorsport and currently reintroducing a Formula 5000 race series to Australia which keeps me busy during the week. Weekends we like to get out and about and sometimes head beyond the city. Currently staying with my boss down the coast but both keen to move closer to the city.
Hi. I am a quiet living, friendly, retired lady who likes attractive surroundings. I am very clean, enjoy walking, gardening, visits to the Arts Precinct, reading, sleeping, movies and occupy myself a lot with writing memoirs and designing books. I eat very simply, stir fries and salads are favourites. My background was legal and also cultural activities which makes me quite diversified in my interests. I was born at Byron Bay, NSW and that makes me a water/nature lover.
Hi guys, I'm Phil, obviously looking for a place to live/share. I'm living in a share house in aspendale at the moment but am looking to move a little closer to the city to get closer to work (if possible). I'm really easy going, play a lot of sport, environmental scientist "by trade" and am currently working as a project supervisor in the contaminated land industry. During the week (after work hours) I'm usually at footy training or trying to stay fit in one way or another, which means half the time im home late and straight into bed. i'm a non-smoker and don't drink during the week generally, but enjoy a social drink on the weekends. Looking at medium to longterm place to stay, but pretty flexible either way. i'm a very friendly, respectful and tidy person (can't live without a dishwasher though!). I've travelled a lot so I've learned to get along with people from all walks of life, I think travelling gives you a better perspective on life and people in general anyway. Next trip is Japan in Jan if you're keen? ;) Potentially could have joint custody of a cat (ie. 1 month on 1 month off - its a long story), but if you don't like or can't have pets I wouldn't bring him - he's equally happy being where he is atm full time too.
I'll be starting a new job as a nurse in early February next year working part-time (4 days a week). I'm looking for an unfurnished room from the end of January for 12 months. A little bit about me ... I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not studying or working I enjoy socialising with friends and being out and about, but I also like a bit of downtime at home. I'd love to find housemates with similar values and interests.
I'm an easy going, friendly dude. I am clean and tidy and always like to make sure people are comfortable living with me. I am a pretty social dude, so I won't constantly be holed up in my room if you enjoy my company. I work hospitality 6 days a week and like to be doing things most of the time though, so I won't always be around the house.
Hey future flatties! I am currently doing my Masters of Psychotherapy, and working part time in retail. In my down time I love to chill, go out for a few drinks, or venture out for a bushwalk! I'm great to live with because I don't spend my whole time in my room, instead love to have a bite to eat or a chat with my flatmates. But I also love my down time, and zoning out in front of netflix.
Hello! My name is Nicole, I am 23 years old and am moving from Sydney to Melbourne in early January. I am currently working as a Primary School teacher. I am an easy going and friendly person who loves to socialise and meet new people. In my spare time, I love to explore and walk through new places, swim, spend time with friends and check out live music gigs :) Over the last few years I have spent quite a bit of time travelling, so I understand how to live with people. I hope to hear from you soon! Nicole
Clean and tidy, work full time during the week and some weekend work. Happy to be social and have a drink and dinner as a flat but also repect personal space etc. Generally not home weekends and enjoy sports(just getting into kiteboarding), I wakeboard and play soccer. Often out adventuring exploring the city and Vic and go home to NZ a few times a year. Also am a Kiwi so +/- points for that ;)
Hey there Im 28 yrs old, a fully qualified beauty therapist who is easy going, friendly, clean and tidy. In my spare time i enjoy going to the gym, walking, movies, restaurants and meeting new people Let me know if you would be interested for me to come and have and look and meet you Thanks :)
Hello! I am very eager to find a new home. Currently residing in Elwood. I am a 26 yr old psychology student. Considerate, hardworking, social person. Love sharing a vino and a dinner. I have a 2 yr old, dalmatian who is happy, well trained and loving. I have a stable job and income. I am reliable and very tidy. Would love to hear from you. :)
Hi I work full-time in a stable professional job and am currently studying part-time (marketing). I'm an easy going, social, respectful and tidy person, looking for similar in a housemate. I have a fairly active lifestyle and am out of the house a fair bit. During the week, with work, gym and socialising with friends, and then on weekends out studying at the library or again having fun with friends. A bit about me personally: love to stay fit (gym, running, swimming), travel (anywhere really), often like to plan weekends away, a bit of a foodie (though not the best cook) and always up for a good time. When I'm home I generally like to relax and unwind, and know how to be respectful of other peoples need for quiet time and space. Currently living out in Mornington but looking to move closer to the CBD towards the end of Jan. Open to moving into an existing share house or teaming up to find a new place together.
Hello guys, we are looking for a nice room to stay my boyfriend and me. We both are passionate travelers and in Australia since almost a year and would like to stay for the rest(2-3 months) of our time here in Melbourne. We both are working full-time so we wound be at home to much. If you are looking for friendly, responsible and nice people that treat your home with respect then we are the right ones :-) We are not home-party people but like to have fun maybe by a dinner all together or 1-2 drinks any day. The most important thing that we are looking for is that the place has to be near a tram or train station. I hope this gave some information about us and please call me if you have any other questions Best regards Liron & Pascale
Hey all, I'm to start a new house share from Thornbury to Brunswick, Elwood to Caulfield and in any inner North, East or Southern Suburbs. My budget is $185/week, ready to move now. I'm 31, originally from QLD and have been living in Melbourne for about 3.5 years. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my psych degree. When I finish I'm aiming to get a job in a humanistic position. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). I'd like to say I sleep in but my body clock often doesn't allow it. It only lets me feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work. Most of my social outings revolve around visiting friends or heading out to gigs, or maybe a sneaky festival once or twice a year. I enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, much prefer openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Do have some furniture to bring, kitchen stuff, no whitegoods though. Feel free to fire any questions my way 🙂 I'm ready to move asap!
Hi there, I have just finished a year of travelling around the world and am planning to move back to Melbourne. I lived in Brunswick East for 5 years before I left earlier this year. I was a professional and did work the normal Monday to Friday 9-5, but decided that was no longer for me and packed up and left to explore my passion of cooking. I plan on starting work in the Melbourne area in early January once I am back. I love cooking and actually make the final auditions of Masterchef 2016 but just missed out, so yes I am a decent cook and love cooking every night and having a taste tester around for an honest opinion is always handy. Bit about me, I grew up in Sydney and moved to Melbourne in 2011. I have travelled and lived all over the world, Spain, London, Colorado, The Greek Islands (This is where I lived this summer) I love the outdoors, animals, all sports, cooking and love a cold beer on a Sunday afternoon with a BBQ and fresh food from Vic markets. I love being near the water and peaceful weekends. I love Melbourne because it has so much on all year round. I am not exactly looking to move until the new year as I am spending Christmas and New years in Sydney before I end up back at work in Melbourne. I am easy going and clean and keep my living environments in the same manner. I have lived with both males and females over the years in all different countries and find that time spent in common living areas makes for a more comfortable home with good friends instead of just a house with random people I live with. Hopefully will find something that suites and look forward to a new year in the best city in Australia.
I'm an active, healthy professional. When I'm not at work or out running, I'm probably planning my next trip away or adventure somewhere in regional Victoria. I work in tourism and have an unhealthy level of FOMO, so constantly looking for things to do / places to see. I'm a chatty, friendly person, though also respect your privacy space should you prefer that. I own Nintendo Classic Mini console that needs a new place to live, if that helps.
Hi :) I'm Brianna. Looking for a new place to call home somewhere in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, preferably somewhere close to public transport would be ideal! Extremely respectful, clean and always stay on top of my bills.
Carlo and I are two friends that met each other at Monash University. I was raised for most of my life in Melbourne and Carlo is an international student from Mexico. I have completed Uni and will be working full time next year and Carlo will be studying at Monash. We will be monitoring the rental property market, looking to move in early February and are searching for 2-4 other like minded people to rent a share house with. We are looking for a house with a backyard in the inner-eastern suburbs near a train station that will likely cost less than $200 each per week. Ideally we would like a house with the same amount of boys as girls and a minimum commitment of a few months. We are both very social, like to drink, love a laugh, are both into fitness and the outdoors, are big global travelers and enjoy a deep and meaningful chat. We're hoping to live with people that are keen to hang out and get to know each other, enjoy partying and are like minded. We both love music and I play in a band (warning: some band practices may be held but will be during reasonable hours). The occasional party will be hosted ;)
Hello all. I'm looking for a place to call home in the south eastern suburbs, preferably around Elwood/Balaclava area. I am a 24 year old male who works permanent part time (4 days a week) as a graduate construction estimator. During the week I am fairly relaxed either playing guitar (acoustic) or heading to the gym for a climb, while on the weekend I prefer to get outside as much as possible to either hike or surf. I am considerate of others, very clean and love to meet and get to know new people.
Student returning to study after a year off working and travelling. Bubbly, outgoing girl that loves to have a few drinks and socialise on weekends but a little quieter during the week. Clean & independent. Posting early to try and find both some good accomodation and housemates (banter essential), currently working full-time harvest position in the country with a flexible end date! Contact me if you have any questions!
I'm a Business Analyst professional who has been recently shifted to Melbourne from Sydney. I'm working for a leading Australian clothing brand in South Yarra. For the time being, I'm staying in my friend's house and will have to move out as his wife and baby is coming back. I'm a very friendly person. Like to keep my home neat and tidy. Love sports, hanging out with my friends and would love to have an occasional beer or two with my house mates. That being said, I also love a quiet time. Understands the word 'Privacy' and appreciates the basic house sharing etiquette.
Hello, We are Linda and Carl from Sweden, Carl is already in Melbourne and I will join him in beginning of December. We already have a place but only til January. We are hoping to find a place from January to mid/end of March to share with people/couples similar to us! Carl is a chef and a bartender and I will be looking for a job as a waitress. We are tidy people who enjoy food, gym, travel and outdoor life. We're sociable and friendly but are not looking for a party house.
29yo Japanese guy (full time visual art student, part time worker(hard)) looking for a house to settle in. Pretty easy going, responsible, tidy, organised, love cooking(and tidy up lol). I'd love to get to know people and share some time to relax (sorry I can't quite cope with party hard every night. Just be decent and be no full-time hard drinker please). I'm also looking for people who respect privacy (as I do to you so) and cleanness in public area (don't be a cleaning Nazi though). I do go out for work, to eat out, for exercise, for study (most of the time I'm in my studio), gallery ect..so I'm not a full time house staying person.... again, I'm laid back and peaceful and a bit of fun person. of well, you'll find out hey.
Hey! Im Bryn. Im 24 and work fulltime as a charter pilot at Moorabbin airport. I grew up in the Yarra Valley. Pip, my girlfriend is 25. She is from near Albury. We both share a love for the outdoors, food and a good laugh. We are friendly and respectful people who want to share a house with like minded people. If you're into cooking, craft beers, art, music, plants and gardening, getting outdoors, eating healthy and keeping fit (but can still enjoy chocolate and sitting around watching a movie guilt free) then we will get along great!
Moving back to Melbourne after a couple of years in my native England. Originally from Leeds, Yorkshire but am now an Aussie citizen. I'm a surveyor by trade and returning to my old job based out of Port Melbourne. Working hours are 7am-5pm with the occasional Saturday morning. Ideally I could do with off road parking for the car but street parking would be fine. I'm pretty active and like to keep busy outside work. I go to the gym, swim and cycle every now and again but recently getting back into running more than anything else. I've done a couple of half marathons this year and will be doing a couple of trail events over the summer, a marathon is definitely on the cards soon as well. I'll be joining a running club asap. I play football (soccer) socially with mates once a week down at Albert park so I should be out and about a fair bit. Generally I don't mind a beer but for the main part my partying days are probably over.... I have 3 lovely children who live with their mum in Tasmania. Jack, Aidan and Charlotte who are 10, 8 and 7. I will be heading over to see them for weekends on a regular basis. If I could find a place where they could visit once or twice in a year that would be great but I do have family and friends in Melbourne we could stay with for such occasions. I would say so myself but they are absolutely great and better behaved than many of my adult friends! If you would like to know anything else please get in touch. I arrive back into Melbourne on 17th November but can arrange to have a chat with anyone via Skype or some other similar medium. Thanks for your consideration, Matty
