I never thought of buying in Darra, until I did a few years ago. I've rented one room so that brings me to having 1 more bedroom in a newish 4 bedroom house (12 years old) for rent. Room is available now. No couples pls. About me: Nick, 33, work full time in property development. I’m from Melbourne originally and came to Brisbane 4 years ago. I love sport, boating and the beach love a beer on the weekend. The house: Located in Warrender St, Darra, its about 4 mins walk from the station and local shops including a massive fruit store and a few bakeries. The station has heaps of express trains to and from the city, and has both the Ipswich and Springfield line going through it. Woolworths and Aldi, a Jetts gym and pub are about 15 minutes by foot. House has 4 bedrooms and a few bathrooms. All bedrooms are 3 by 3 metres+ with walk in robes. Massive front and backyard (back fully fenced) with veggie garde therefore small dog friendly (not for cats however since we have one). Apart from the outside entertaining area, it has 3 main common areas - kitchen/tv room, totally separate lounge room and a double lock up garage. Since there is ample room happy to store your furniture or use it round the house. In saying that, I’ll provide all common goods. I’m looking for: Looking for 1 more roomie, to join the 2 of us. Me and Kelly. The price: Fixed $150 for the room. 2 weeks bond and no formal commitment or contracts. This includes ALL bills, NBN internet, water, and Foxtel with sport. Other stuff: I'm a non-smoker but don’t mind if you do outside. Since I bought the house, obviously I didn’t buy near high voltage lines, checked the everything works and will care for the property. I’m really looking for awesome roommates, not charging too much and coming from Melbourne a few years ago am using this as an opportunity to meet new people as well as pay my mortgage. Therefore happy to go the extra mile and be extremely tolerant. It may not be your dream location but the house vibe will be awesome. Cheers
Tidy, quiet and financially independent. I'm an electronics engineer working between 8:30am-5:30 pm each day. In my spare time I work on software projects, gym, box and most recently started playing tennis. I also spend a lot of time with my partner and friends. I like being busy and thus am rarely home, however you're more than welcome to join me if we share any common interests! Ideally, I'm looking for an air-conditioned bedroom, own bathroom and off-street parking but I am willing to compromise.

This house is a recently purchased, newly renovated, owner-occupied home, meaning that we take care of it and if something goes wrong, we will be right on it. The house is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, close to parkland, train stations, and Mt Ommaney Shopping Center. It takes 10 minutes to get to the local train station or the shopping center via a bus or bike. There is on-street parking available if you own a car. As a tenant, you would have access to a large furnished bedroom, shared access to the kitchen, laundry and living room, and a bathroom which you share with one other person. The bedroom is fully furnished. It comes with a double bed (sheets can be provided if required), a desk, a bookshelf, and a built-in wardrobe. The kitchen is also furnished, and you can use the utensils in there if required. We do have a second lounge room which is currently unfurnished, so if you have a TV or consoles which you want to set up, you can feel free to put them in there. All housemates are clean and neat, and treat our shared spaces with respect. In regards to house rules, we simply ask that you treat the space and the people within, with the same level of respect with which we treat it ourselves. This means things like no dirty dishes in the sink for long periods of time, being respectful of when other people are sleeping, and cleaning up after yourself in the shared areas.

Other shared facilities include kitchen, dining room, tv room and rumpus room. Location: This house is situated approximately 2.5km away from the Oxley train station and Oxley Woolworths. Precise location in Oxley available upon enquiry. Availability: Move in date is negotiable. Previous tenant has moved out however has paid for the room until 3 May. I am an easy going, quiet professional. I studied Chartered accountancy but landed in the IT industry. I have lived with flatmates all my life and am easy to get along with. I am respectful and clean, no fuss and no issues :) I don't drink or smoke and am not a party animal. I am a cat lover. I'm looking for a place in a quiet suburb where I can come home after work and relax.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am independent and like to keep everything clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend most of my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and have only just recently moved to Brisbane, so I'm a newbie to this whole process really. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is the sweetest thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep!), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you, I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
I am looking to stay for a minimum of 3 months within a 15 km radius to Rocklea. I have come up from Werribee Victoria. I had a holiday with my father for a month and as his health has deteriorated I have decided to move to Brisbane to be closer to him to help him when required. I want time to settle and look for a house to buy. I am happy to pay 3 months rent in advance. I have a cat so I need to share with someone who is ok with a cat but does not have pets themselves as my cat doesn't get on with other pets. He is a quiet cat and likes people.
