I'm a 30 year old Australian / New Zealander single male who works 9-5 as a software developer in the CBD, looking to move in somewhere not too far from the city around the BEGINNING TO MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY, due to my current sharehouse’s lease expiring. I'm looking for a place with friendly people who like to hang out occasionally, but are also willing to give each other some space. Everyone should be willing to clean up after themselves and be considerate of the other housemates. I'm a quiet easy-going guy, I'm reasonably clean / tidy and I occasionally cook (Less so these days, thanks to Menulog and abundant takeaway joints!). I enjoy a quiet drink or two with a few friends, but I’m definitely not looking for a party house. For sober fun I enjoy video / board gaming with friends or, if I'm on my own, reading, listening to music and watching TV / movies. At the moment I spend most weekends out of town. No shared rooms please. Inspections only possible outside work hours, preferably on weekdays.
Hi everyone! Im a 24 year old kiwi girl heading across the ditch for a year of clinical placement in medical science. I am really easy going, mature, friendly, tidy and love meeting new people! I have lived with friends/strangers and on my own and am adaptable to different situations and people of all backgrounds :). Ideally looking for somewhere quite central as am placed in macquarie Park and then Randwick for my placements so need easy access to public transport that will be fairly in the middle of the two areas. Looking forward to having an awesome experience in Australia! Also not looking for shared room only private rooms thanks
Hi there! I'm 21 year old multinational (Danish/Swiss by blood) and I'm coming down under for one semester as an exchange student. When I'm not studying social sciences, I spend my time being busy with student-committe type engagement, making music, or picking up strange hobbies left and right (speed stacking, beatboxing, card magic or Kung-Fu to name a few). I've got a way to long bucket list when it comes to what I'll be doing while studying in Sydney, but going on trips into the nature, making new friends, learning to surf and busking are chief amongst them. I'm a great flatmate because I'm very easygoing and open. It's important to me that there is a sense of friendship between people that live together, even if we might not always agree on everything. Luckily I'm good with keeping things friendly and building respect for each others boundaries.
We are in the heart of the City near to all public transport, right in the heart of the action. The room is large, with high ceilings and wooden floors. As you can see from the photos, we are literally in the middle of the action. If you live for good coffee, there are dozens of the finest coffee shops in Australia within metres from our house. If you're a fan of fine dining, you'll be spoilt for choice. If you're a fitness freak, there are gyms and health facilities within ten metres from our door. If you are a culture-vulture, there are countless museums and places of heritage and historic interest on our very doorstep. Working in the CBD? Sleep in until 08:00 every day and cruise into work with time to spare. Want to cool off in Bondi? The 333 bus leaves every ten minutes. Want to party in the Ivy? Walk home within three minutes. The advantages and features that our room offers are endless. Say goodbye to taxis and long commutes and hello to a life of endless choices and beauty. Don't take my word for it, just head on over to the world famous Botanic Gardens and soak up all of the charm and tranquillity. On the way home, drop into any of five Olympic-sized public swimming pools or sit and marvel at a Picasso at the NSW Art Gallery. Ramble over to Kings Cross and check out the vibes. Idle downtown to China Town and mosey back through Darling Harbour and Barangaroo. Finish off with a walk around the Opera House and take in the sights of the Harbour Bridge as it's lit up at night time. There's so, so much more to our place than just a room. Be as close to the action as you can on New Year as the whole neighbourhood comes alive with hundreds of thousands of people. We really have it all, right here. You will be spoilt for choice.

I'm Jacob! I'm 23 years old and I'm an American who is moving to Sydney and arrives on 18 January, so I'm obviously kind of new to the area. I'm really easy to get along with, I like to help out as much as I can, and I will clean up after myself. While I do not have a job as of this posting, I will be looking for employment as soon as I arrive so as to have steady income. I'm pretty laid back and I've got a good sense of humor, so there's that. Also no one in my life has ever described me as "creepy." I'm not picky and I'm pretty much open to anything. While the length of stay says 3 months, I'm open and flexible to anything really, so that is not set in stone. Also, I didn't vote for Trump.
We both are outgoing people, stay clean and believe in a healthy lifestyle. We'll be studying in Sydney for 2 years. We are looking for a medium size apartment to stay which is near one the train stations.

Hi everyone! I am Spanish lawyer who will be working for the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Sydney. I am outgoing and I like to chat/socialise but I am also easygoing and know when to respect others personal time and space. I am also very active and visit the gym almost everyday after work so you would rarely see me at home. As a Spaniard, originally from Madrid, I enjoy football (I am a supporter of Real Madrid) and surf (even though I am a beginner). I also love travelling around and have visited more than 60 countries. You can count on me to keep the place clear, tidy and peaceful, even though I enjoy hanging out and would join any plan you propose! Looking forward to make new friends! Alvaro
