    Matt

    $300/week24 year old man

Hi there! My name's Matt, a 24-year-old software engineer making the exciting move across the ditch from Wellington to Melbourne. I've just wrapped up a fantastic three-year role as a DevOps Engineer where I had the fantastic opportunity to build a company's core product from the ground up. I'm now relocating to kickstart the next chapter of my career here in Melbourne's tech scene. Most importantly for you: I've planned this move meticulously. I have a substantial savings buffer (over $15k NZD) specifically to cover rent, bond, and all living expenses for several months while I land the right role. I'm treating my job search like a full-time job, so I'm financially secure and reliable. Happy to provide proof of funds to put your mind at ease! As a housemate, I'm very clean, tidy, and respectful of other people's space and schedules. I know the importance of pulling my weight and keeping shared areas great for everyone. When I'm not job hunting, you'll usually find me pretty relaxed. I'm a massive F1 fan (Forza Ferrari!), and I'm keen to adopt some local teams – already leaning towards Melbourne Victory and the Storm, and I'm ready for someone to try and explain the rules of AFL to me for the tenth time. I'm also into cycling, exploring new cafes, and all things tech. I'm looking for a friendly and stable home base for an initial period of 3-6 months. My plan is to get established, land a great role in my field, and then find my own long-term apartment. This makes me an ideal candidate for a sublet or a house that's happy with a fixed-term stay. My budget is around 200− 400 AUD per week, and I arrive in Melbourne on August 16th, ready to inspect and move in. If you think I'd be a good fit for your place, I'd love to hear from you!

    $200/week20 year old woman

Hey, I’m MJ. I’m 20 years old, and looking for somewhere for me and my dog to live. A bit abt me and Arlo: I’m doing part time Uni, and also working part time doing youth work. I do occasional tattoos every now and then aswell, so if you aren’t comfortable with me tattooing clients in the house that’s absolutely okay and I can do it elsewhere! I love the outdoors, playin music, and a good snack. Sometimes I’m a social animal, and sometimes I don’t speak to the world for a week, so looking for somewhere where it’s okay for me to hide out and just chill sometimes. And also I’m gay asf so I hope queer energy in your house isn’t a problem lmao. I’ve had Arlo for about 5 years, and he’s a great dog. He’s extremely friendly, well trained and obedient, and I’d like to think he wouldn’t interrupt your space too much. He’s good with other pets, but there would obviously have to be an adjustment period. It’d be ideal to be somewhere where he’s welcome around the house, and the backyard so he’s not cooped up in my room all the time, as he is very social. A bit more info: I’m clean and like to respect mutual spaces. This also includes cleaning up after whatever mess my dog makes. He does this thing where he chews his toys into little bits and leaves plastic crumbs in a pile. He also shed’s a lot. So apologies in advance! I have a van, so would ideally like somewhere to park it lol. It’d be good to get to know new housemates, and create a good relationship with eachother. But if you literally just want someone you don’t have to talk to, and have your rent covered that’s chill too. I hope these Things work for you, and let me know if you have any questions
