I have lived in share houses/apartments for 4 years and still am friends with most of my previous roomies. I am clean but not a neat freak, I like a beer/wine or two but don't get drunk, I am a quiet person but don't mind the occasional chat, in general I am pretty chilled. I work in IT and a lot of my interests are around technology. I recently moved from Sydney for work. I have travelled all around the world and hoping to travel more in the near future!
Hey, we're looking to move in to a room together. Originally from Perth, Gary is currently working, while Cotton, born and raised on the Chinese island of Hainan, is studying at university. We are both easygoing, tidy and friendly, and enjoy socialising as much relaxing at home binge watching tv series. Neither of us are party animals and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
young at heart single who is selling his house in Gippsland and moving back to Melbourne, highly spiritual and I love music and I sing among many other intellectual pursuits. I am ex Military and seek a mutual respectful environment, I smoke but have no other vices.
Generally easy going, fairly clean and low key, not noisy and respectful of others' personal space. At the same time open to socialising and being part of a group
Hello! I'm Yenni and i'm working as a paediatric nurse at a hospital in one of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I'm looking for a short term place to stay preferably around Blackburn, Doncaster, Box Hill and Balwyn (but any Eastern suburb is fine as I drive) for about 3 months from 23rd May to 15th August (exact dates are negotiable, potentially even until early September) before I leave to volunteer overseas again for the rest of the year as my current housemates are moving out end of this month and I'll be staying with my folks in a northern suburb until 18th April as I'll be away for about 5 weeks so I'm hoping to look at your place before 18th April in order to make a decision where to return after my trip. Plus I'd still remain employed as my boss is very supportive of my overseas adventuring tendencies so you can always count on me for paying rent on time ;) I've been sharing houses with cousins, friends and strangers on different occasions for the past 9 years in Melbourne so I'm tolerant, approachable, generally tidy and always clean up after myself as I'm pretty self conscious of others around me. Socially, i am usually up for a chat or hang out depending on the preferences of my housemates as I'm pretty flexible and easygoing but if you're someone that keeps to yourself, that's ok with me too as I respect that and would do the same. I do prefer a non party house as it's nice to unwind from a long shift at a peaceful home but I enjoy occasional evening dinner / movie nights with friends at home, just not wild parties (I'm getting old and can't keep up with the youngsters, sorry!). I also lead an active lifestyle and often go hiking on my days off. If I sound like a good fit to you, please reach out, cheers :)
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to help with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Looking to move pretty much as soon as I can, and looking for long-term like at least 12 months, but I'm easy. Any other questions let me know!
Hi I'm matt, I'm 26 I work full time as a plumber by trade .I'm mindful and respectful of other people. I'm a very clean neat and tidy person. I'm easy going and pretty easy to get along with. I'd say I'm fairly open minded respectful and educated on political views religious beliefs and all that sort of stuff. I'm very upfront and honest. I can be quite social but also will keep to myself at times as I work long hours and my job can be quite stressful at times so I'll just come home and want to switch off for awhile but I'm also happy to share a meal or have a beer or wine every now and then aswell.
Great place to live! Relatively quiet neighborhood with Westfield shopping centre located less that 1km away (5-10mins walk). No trains unfortunately, but there is a bus stop less than 200m away, the closest train station would be Mont Albert or Surrey Hills approximately 10mins drive and the Eastern FWY is only 2 mins away in which the pensinsula is only an hour away and the city 15mins, 30-45 with traffic. Recently renovated 3 bedroom house built in the 70's with hardwood floors throughout the communal areas (bedrooms carpeted), new kitchen approximately 12 months ago, bedroom 3.2 x 4.2m with in-built robes. Relatively open plan living area with a great view over the eastern suburbs and a brass fireplace to boot that gets a solid working out over the colder months, air conditioning (only in living). Double car garage with an under house workshop, not able to park cars within due to being a work space however more than welcome to store belonging's Must be a dog person as my beloved four legged counterpart is 45kgs and has a rather big personality, his favorite pastime's pretending to be human, sitting on your lap and trying to catch you out by licking your face :)
Huge house located close to shops and public transport. Only 15-20 mins into the CBD and just up the road from Westfield Doncaster. One room available. House currently occupied by 1 male and 2 females. House is suitable for uni students or those working full time. Air conditioner and heating. Nice outdoor area. Fast internet. Fully furnished living areas and kitchen. Bedroom is unfurnished. Bills are not included in price, but average $30-$60 per month extra. Large backyard Fast internet
Hi! I'm french but I actually live in Spain for 8 years now. I'm working on a PhD in Political Studies and as a french teacher as well. I'm coming to Melbourne to study at La Trobe University and to conduct some of my PhD fieldwork. I've shared flats since I was 18 and I enjoy to have a good chat and laugh with nice and interesting people, but I also like to have my own space to study or listen music. I'm not really into sports but at least I try to keep fit. I do love music (to play and listen), movies and books. I really love pets (both cats and dogs) but I don't have one of my own.
Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work part time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please shoot me a private message if interested :) Thanks, Alex

Honest, caring, clean and tidy, helpful and loves shopping. Looking for pet friendly place. I have one tiny dog and two cats. All are house trained and old so won't destroy garden or anything. I have my own home in Eltham which is being rented out as I planned to move to Queensland, now that I am here, I am not 100% sure if I could live here. I just need a nice private place to stay with my 3 very good animals. I am an extremely clean and tidy person and I like cooking occasionally. I plan to buy another property by the end of the year. 😊
Hey there, My name's Sam :) - Easy going and friendly - Respectful - Works full time in CBD - Neat and Tidy most of the time - Likes privacy but enjoys socialising too - Would be happy to meet for coffee/boost juice etc so you can get to know me better :) (unfortunately I work 9-7 most days but will happily find the time) - As I said above I work usually 9-7 sometimes 9-9 so if you do wish to contact me, please do so via this site or by text message, thanks in advance :)
Originally from country Victoria, studying Teaching Science at Deakin Burwood. I have been living in share houses for 4 years now, so i know the go! Im very respectful of my roommates space and privacy! Looking for a sociable household, i am happy to keep to myself, but I'm always down for a wine or two and a chat!
We are a couple from Hong Kong and Taiwan (27 & 29 yo) both of us are students (English and Patisserie) now, working part time. We are non-smokers. We have been in Australia for at least 3 years. After finishing our 2-year Working Holiday visa, we decided to stay here to learn English and more about Australia. We are both easy-going and love to make new friends. In our spare time, we love to play sports, go camping and cooking sometimes. We can move in in early April, planning to stay long-term, with a budget of $300 per week.
Anastasia- love to watch netflix and eat out. Gym, all things media and dogs are some of the things I love. Bubbly, friendly and, I like to think, funny. Currently studying for year 12. Jude- studying at RMIT as a civil engineer. Friendly, easy going personality. Loves to socialise with friends and skateboard occassionally.
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as I'm on Centrelink disability payments. I have 2 young indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
Quiet, clean, have a cool cat. Fair-minded, have a lot of share-housing experience. Pays on time every time. Makes a good cake. Need a place where others will be out for the day at least some days per week so I can rehearse singing / comedy / acting. A small space in house - not in bedroom - that I can put a small desk for writing would be ideal. Current house I am renting has been sold by owners. This website requires me to put a date to move but am more flexible than that.
