Hello everyone, my name is kartik and I am from India. I will be starting my master program in uni adelaide this july, I need a place to stay preferably close to the uni.
Canadian exchange student for a semester at the University of South Australia! Just want to explore as much as I can, meet cool people, learn the Aussie way, and have a good time. Arriving beginning of July and staying with family until i find a place so flexible on move in date! Move out December but also flexible as I do have family. :) I am a laid back person and get along with all types of people. I am also clean. Looking for anything near North Adelaide.
Hey all, My name is Steve, I am 28 years old and recently moved to Adelaide from Sydney. I look forward to finding a place where I can meet new people and feel at home in my new city. I am super easy going and enjoy being social. Ideally, my new place will consist of like-minded people who I can become friends with. Although, I also enjoy my own downtime and like to occasionally chill out with a movie, podcast or drawing pad. In terms of arrangements, I would prefer somewhere with a 3-6 month agreement. Yet, this is somewhat flexible. Happy to consider either furnished, partially furnished or non-furnished at this point in time. I am flexible and willing to come and view properties whenever suits!
Hiyya! I'm open minded, clean/hygenic, caring, pay bills on time (1st thing that should be paid), love a good laugh, am a singer and have geeky hobbies. I'm not a party gal but do like to listen to music or read from home, have friends over (all of my friends are funny, safe, random peeps, most are musicians too :) ) Not too fussed with the genders, age, ethnicity of housemates, just no creeps, duh. I also do not have a car, so close proximity to train and bus stops is important! I'd particularly love to live around the Seaford train line :D I require house mates who are: respectful, egalitarian (or at least don't push their differing views on me), mature/mostly mature xD, good communicators, considerate, clean up after themselves, and aren't too loud. Extras: It'd be nice to become friends with housemates, maybe cook together, watch movies, share music tastes, from time to time - I love alone time though, so this isn't a need, but would be nice :) To support a positive living environment, friendliness and communication is necessary though :) Housing History: I've lived in shared private rental, in student accommodation buildings, with friends, and with family. Have met and been around diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds. I've been living with a 25yo male and 24 y.o. nb housemate since July 2018. Before that I lived in a large (8 story, 38 rooms/floor) student accom. 3 diff friends households at the end of high school until I got into a Music course last year. And ofc with family before that too. I've experienced controlling friendships and housemates, messy housemates, overcrowded housing (a friend who has 5 high functioning autistic siblings and parents :) I stayed with them for a month while house-hunting :) ), and with my family - the family structure house hold. I know what I like and don't like in a household and in people, so have good, real expectations for safety, living environment, and communication. I love cute things, and am semi into gardening, but I'm a bit clumsy and forgetful, so it's more of a 'when I'm not too busy' type hobby. This year, I've studied half of a UniSA foundation course, since I studied more practical Music Industry (Performance - vocal) courses last year, and haven't written essays et cetera for over a year now......+ (rant: I hadn't finished paying off the certificate 4 which I was going to use to get into a uni psychology course......there's a student loan for that sort of thing that I didn't know about #regret....well.....now I know T-T ) In semester 2 I'm starting a Bachelor of Arts @ the University of Adelaide (anthropology and a language - Japanese would be fun. I'm a bit of an otaku :')) - So will be looking for housing with close proximity to the city for mid year (looking for a 6 month lease; I prefer 6 months incase housemates end up being to loopy, not what they say they are etc) xD Hopefully a house around $270 including bills per fortnight. I love plants, animals & the environment too - I'm an avid recycler, so would prefer eco-concious housemates :) Message if you think I sound like a good fit for your household c: Toooodles~

Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. I have a brand new unit available in Prospect/ Devon Park. Close to the Dudley Park and Ovingham train station. Also a short walk to church hill and prospect road with lots of buses. The apartment is brand new and will have NBN installed. It has a large U-shaped kitchen with lots of storage and a breakfast bar. Also has a dishwasher. The apartment is the top floor (2nd) on the end so has lots of windows and light. Your bedroom has huge built in robes and can easily fit a queen and maybe even a king size bed. The bathroom is huge with a separate bath and shower, along with lots of storage. The apartment is fully furnished bar your bedroom. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, James
My home is a circa 1920s sandstone fronted Villa with modern extension at the back comprising kitchen (with dishwasher, electric oven and gas cooktop, plus lots of kitchen appliances including espresso machine, pizza oven, sandwich toaster, etc) and breakfast bar area, main bathroom and small laundry. There is also a modern second smaller bathroom (which at the moment will be exclusively yours to use but may be shared if I get 2 housemates). There is ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling throughout, and gas hot water. I have had solar power installed to keep electricity bills low. The lounge room has a gas fireplace, and the home is serviced by unlimited NBN. The house is technically 3 bedroom but at present I am using the third bedroom for storage and a second lounge/study. I may in future consider turning it into a functioning third bedroom and get a second border (then there will be 3 people sharing the 2 bathrooms). I have a large backyard with alfresco area and lawned area, and a number of fruit trees. There is also a veggie patch which I am presently doing up, garage (used as a storage shed) and single car carport. There is space for 1 other car on the property, and space for 2 additional cars on street directly out the front. I have a very lovely medium sized dog and also dog sit from time to time. The house is located approx 5 minutes walk from 2 major bus stops and is then a short direct ride into the city or North Adelaide, 5-10 mins walk from the train stop and is very near all the essentials including supermarkets, chemists, lively Prospect Road including the new cinema and restaurants/cafes and Kilburn shops which includes Aldi and Costco.
Zac and I are both clean and quiet people. We don’t go out partying and usually asleep by 10pm 😂 We love to wake up early and go to the gym to start our day right. Our one year old dog is a Maltese x shihtzu who doesn’t shed fur and love everything and everyone. He doesn’t bark much and loves his naps.
Your room is the biggest in the house, private and detached from the main building with your own split system and ceiling fan - you will need to furnish it yourself. The house has: - FTTP NBN (the best available) - Ducted reverse A/C - Big kitchen with dishwasher + puratap + gas stove with wok burner - Large bathroom with dedicated shower + spa bath - Two toilets - Instant temperature adjustable gas hot water - Living room as well as dedicated dining room - Low maintenance yard with entertaining area perfect for BBQs And importantly is located 20 metres from a bus stop to the city, or a 5 minute walk to the train stop if you'd prefer that. No pets sorry.
