$240/week24 year old woman

Hey, I’m Charlie and I’m currently working full time in health research and policy, I’m primarily looking to relocate to be closer to work and the city in general, I do work from home 2 days a week so I need enough room in the bedroom for my desk or if there is a dedicated study area or somewhere else I can set up that works too. I’m a clean person generally and am happy to chat and have a socialise but also value my own space and privacy. I might like to have my friends over every once in a blue moon for a chill get together but I’m not a party person. I enjoy gardening and have a bunch of houseplants that I hope to bring with me if that is possible. Other hobbies include, video games, music, reading and hiking. I also play a semi regular game of dnd with my mates. Some of the key things I’m looking for in a room/roomate are: - moderately sized room at least 3x3 or have external space or extra room for desk and storage. - chill roomates that are friendly and don’t mind having a chat every now and then. - roomates who don’t mind if I have friends over every now and then to watch movies or play games etc, we have the occasional get together but we don’t party much. - don’t mind friends or potential future partners staying overnight once in a while, not every night or anything but maybe on a weekend if we had a late night. - aircon in bedroom is non negotiable and housemates are willing to use aircon when it gets warm - a longer term stay or intentions to extend the lease as I wouldn’t want to move frequently. - I will need a space for my car, I don't care if its on-street or off-street just need somewhere to park. If I missed anything please feel free to ask and hope to hear from you :) Note: willing to live anywhere within 20-30 min drive (in peak hour) to Kent town/Adelaide

$300/week57 year old man

Recently moved back to Adelaide after living in VIC then QLD for 8 years. Before I moved I was an RN working full time. I moved to look after my mother post stroke, and was exposed to mold which set off a rare genetic chain of events that led to me being disabled. After that exposure I moved up to QLD to live close to my father. After I no longer needed to be up in QLD, I am back in Adelaide as the weather suits me. Now I am 58, still trying to avoid moldy homes lest I become sick again, and plan to find some work hopefully remote. At present my income is Disability Support Pension which is more than enough to live on in a share accom. Once I start working, depending on how much I like the role and my hours, I may seek my own place. Mind, I do have significant savings and am not short on funds at all. i have my own bedroom furniture inc. Queen bed, side tables, desk, chair, printer, monitor etc and need a bit of space as I really want to work part time from home. I'm a very clean and tidy person who is very good at keeping his space clean. I eat simply but economically, I like to spend time alone reading, or watching TV (on my laptop). I make my own soaps and skincare, I capsule my own herbs, and generally try to survive with as little conflict as possible. I feel the heat but not the cold. I go to Church but am not a hypocrite or fanatic and certainly not a judge of other people's behaviours likes or dislikes. I have a wacky sense of humor perhaps from my many years as an RN. I believe hte most important skill in sharing a home is communication. I'm also looking for "Share" not simply a room.. in that I do not want to feel like a stranger in my own home. I'm friendly and can be talkative, but I also like my own space and privacy. Im extremely generous and am fine with sharing anything even my food - as long as it's fair. I do have allergies to some cats and some dogs but I never know until I meet them (the pets). I have no phobias not even spiders and no not even clowns 🤡 haha Oh and I'm a really good cook if I am so motivated. Otherwise Ill just cook some chicken and tip a jar of sauce over it lol. My Academic records: Trade (Baker), Police (NSW), Nursing degree, Post grad dip Nursing), three hypnotherapy qualifications, and there are quite a few more in there inc. IT and so forth. Im quite smart esp with computers and networks. I can nerd out with the best of them :-) I bring a lot of benefit to a home, from stability, security, to good cooking, a good cleaner who likes everything clean, to a good network and IT specialist, to someone who can save money in a lot of areas by being creative. I am "low chemical" as I am sensitive to things so you won't have to deal with a bad deodorant or cologne. Even when you're sick, I'd be the person you want in your home :-)
