Hi, I am looking for someone to take over my room as I am moving out on the 20th of October. It is located in walking distance to UQ, just a ten-minute walk to the green bridge. There is also a nearby shopping centre with a Coles and a brand new Aldi and restaurants/cafes. The room is 3500x2300 mm. It is large enough to fit my queen bed and large desk. The room can come furnished or unfurnished (but not with the furniture pictured) and the house is fully furnished. The bond is 4x weeks rent ($560) and all bills and internet are included in the weekly rent. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to come and check the place out. Cheers, Dave.
A short walk to UQ and Buranda shops. Close to public transport that will get you to the city in around 15 minutes. Sharing with 3 other students who are friendly but prefer the quiet life. The larger room is furnished with a queen size bed, desk & lamp, chair and a wardrobe but the option of having your own furniture is also available. The second room is upstairs and is fully furnished, with single bed, desk, chair and free-standing wardrobe. The third room will be available in November and is also fully furnished and with a single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. The common areas are decked out with a TV with local channels and a Google Chromecast attached. There is also a nice new kitchen with a gas cook-top. All kitchen items such as pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are available for all housemates to use. Cleaning duties are rotated weekly between all housemates. This is a non-smoking house.
PERFECT for UQ EXCHANGE STUDENTS! Hi future flatmate! We currently have 1 single room ready for rent at only $175/ week with ALL bills included and FULLY furnished. This room shares an ensuite bathroom (doors from both bedrooms) with only one clean and friendly male. Would suit an exchange student perfectly as we can provide everything (including linen if necessary). We even have a past exchange student from Canada who could definitely vouch for us. The house is beautifully renovated and fully furnished, with a large deck and BBQ area, lovely gardens and big lounge rooms with views of Mt Coot-tha and is situated next to the train line (so you get some noise from them). The location is amazing, 20 minute walk to UQ over the bridge, even quicker to ride a bike (5-7 minutes) which we can even lend you. There are two train stations within 5 minutes walk and it's only a few stops into the City. There is a Coles and Aldi (shopping centre) and restaurants also only 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of street parking is available however a permit is required (and really easy to get). Washing machine, irons, dishwasher and all the other necessities. Would love a student who has similar interests and keeps common areas relatively clean and tidy. You would be joining a really friendly bunch of students/ health professionals who live a pretty busy lifestyle (therefore the house is never crowded). Not a 'party house' but love to have a chat and a good old laugh, share dinners and have the semi-occasional housemate outing or BBQ! If you have any questions, please send me a message! Alex :)
A double room in a Queenslander cottage. The house has a front deck with BBQ, screened from the street by a great palm garden. It is in a quiet, green spot near the river and parks. Close to the city and walking distance to UQ. There are buses, trains, bike paths and ferries nearby. A 5-minute drive to West End and 10 minutes to the city.

This house is brand new and has 2 completely separate living areas and kitchens (one upstairs and one downstairs) so it is essentially like a 2 bedroom flat and a 3 bedroom flat). Both lounge rooms are very sizeable and have 65" inch tvs in both and quality furniture. The outside areas are also a good place to enjoy a drink or entertain. The house is in a great location, located close to multiple shopping centers, train and bus routes and Ipswich Rd, just 2km away from UQ and 700m away from the PA hospital. The bedroom is spacious with enough room for a desk, airconditioned, has a built-in wardrobe with mirror sliders and also has a TV and data point. The bedroom also has a private ensuite with a bath. A car space is included in the rent All of the utilities and bills are included (including internet) and there is also a cleaner that cleans the common areas fortnightly. The common areas are furnished but the bedrooms are not.
Sharehouse looking for someone to complete our home. Preferably working or studying at least part-time. Our house is a lovely 1930s style Queenslander with a large common room running between the 2 large decks giving it a wide open feel. Common areas are fully furnished, and the internet is cable. Your room would be unfurnished but cosy 3 by 3m square with 2 double foldout windows that let the sun and breeze through. It’s at the back of the house, adjacent to the deck and dining room, and has room for all the basics. There is a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, and a 2nd toilet at the other end of the house. We have workspace and storage space under the house, which we’ve been using to shape surfboards and funk with motorbikes. There is space in front of the house for a car. 30mins to the city. 20mins to UQ by foot. Close to public transport in the form of many buses and 2 train stations (Dutton Park and Fairfield). Close to Buranda and Annerley shops

I'm generally quiet but enjoy music & movies and an occasional drink. I am out many evenings and weekends so home is my sanctuary. I keep communal areas tidy and clean up after myself. I'm pretty laid back, but I also like my privacy... I'm introvert unless I'm really not... Sounds like a contradiction but a lot of that's down to social dancing and how that's trained a part of me to enjoy more outgoing pursuits... I really don't have the energy for true extroverts though. (That includes people who surround themselves with drama!) I'm respectful, but adulting is hard... It's much more fun having few responsibilities... Having said that though, I pay all my bills /rent and shit before it's overdue and you do too: I've got no time to be dicked around by people who make excuses. If you've read this far and you think we could make a happy team I'll also let you know I'm free to move earlier or later... I'm not currently bound by a lease agreement... I could move tomorrow or not until next year... It all rides on the right place and like minded people. So drop me a line!
Hi everyone! I’m planning on moving to Brissy from Sydney at the beginning of next year to continue my studies. I’m looking at areas close to UQ so I can just walk/catch public transport. I have a lot of family on the Sunshine Coast so some weekends would be spent with them. I’m a pretty easy going person! I love spending my time outdoors in the sun, but I also don’t mind a lazy day inside watching Netflix! I’m quite spontaneous and enjoy travelling and exploring new places.
I am really nice and will respect people's privacy, but will also like to make new friends and have some fun when it is not time to study or work. I like to play sports and I study Bachelor of Information Technology studying to become and Web Developer so I use the computer and study a lot during the semesters. I like going out to watch movies and stuff. I do occasionally go out to the clubs and stuff and will go but I don't go as much as other people might but I always like it when i do go out. I also have a car so that would need to be able to get parked somewhere. I am a very nice person so there's that to haha. I can be quite shy when i first meet people but I warm up quite quickly.
Back home in Brisbane after 6 months travelling overseas. Looking for a place to stay while I finish my degree and return to full time work. I study Product Design and Jewellery and work for the government as an IT Solution Designer. I have a beautiful cat called Daisy currently staying with a friend of mine who may move in with me, so am hoping to find fellow animal lovers who love to give cat pats and cuddles. As a housemate I'm pretty easygoing and tidy. I enjoy a good chat and hanging out occasionally but also need time to chill on my own. I'm looking for a place for 3 months to start off with and happy to extend if we get along well. If you have any questions let me know!
hey there :) My name is Jordan, I'm a Canadian trans girl and former student. I'm very respectful when it comes to another's possessions or property and tidy up after myself and just generally around the house when needed. I mostly like to keep to myself although would definitely like to be in a situation where I could be friends and socialise with my housemates. Current goal is to get full time work by the end of the year. Would love to be living somewhere that is LGBT+ friendly.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN JAN/FEB 2019. . I'm positive and ambitious, and a super organised, respectful and open person :) Always eager to cook, clean and do my bit around the house. . I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. My major passions are nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. . I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in Jan/Feb 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. Looking for a home: • Close to UQ in St Lucia (closer the better) • With a medium-large size room with lots of natural light at least big enough for a double bed, large desk and wardrobes. • With a yard or deck that gets decent amount of sun throughout the day. 😊
Eliana and I are a couple. I work full time as a IT Technician and network engineer and usually work around 60 hours a week so usually out of the house a lot. While Eli, is a full time Uni student doing nutrition while working part time. Both clean and super relaxed people always willing to work around and compremise where possible. Neat and tidy, usually keep to ourselves at home but are super social and outgoing. Love having fun on the weekends.
Hi I'm a 33 year old full time worker looking for a largish room as I have a reasonable amount of stuff, but if I am able to leave a few bits and pieces in other areas around the house a smaller room could suffice. Ideally Id like something with my own space downstairs or own bathroom but will consider all places. Happy to pay a bond but not wanting to be stuck on a lease if I decide to move on (will give required notice of course) My interests are music, guitar, martial arts and trying to keep healthy but also like to get on the drink from time to time if the situation calls for it. I work every weekend at the moment (looking to change) but I'm a very deep sleeper. Experienced share houser, clean and tidy, reliable with bills and money, easy going and friendly but if you're the easily offended PC police SJW types we probably won't get along. Looking for that goldilocks house that is clean but not super anal about such things and socialable but not a party house. Looking in areas around Dutton Park, Highgate Hill, Stones Corner, Toowong, Milton, Bardon etc.
I'm looking to move into a place near Brisbane City with a housemate/s as easy going as I am! I study and work a lot so I am barely at home, however when I've got an afternoon off I like to chill out with a wine and Netflix or head to a local music gig. Really don't mind if you're a guy or girl, would just love to live alongside someone considerate, tidy and like-minded. I enjoy socialising but if keeping to yourself is your thing I'm respectful of space and privacy. Happy to either move into an existing share house or team-up and find our own place. Hoping to fill a master bedroom with an ensuite or have my own bathroom. Shoot me a message to chat about potential living arrangements!
