We live in a nice quiet household near South Hobart. This is just a short-term sublet so there is no need to pay a bond or sign anything. The room has 2 windows and a nice view onto a flowing creek surrounded by gum trees and is a short (30 minute) walk into Hobart CBD. The room also has it's own heater so it stays nice and warm in the Tassie winter. There is plenty of on street parking and bus stops close to the house as well. There is a shared bathroom between 4 people which is always nice and tidy and there's also a dryer for your clothes. If you like entertaining, there's a new deck downstairs looking onto the nature strip behind the house with a BBQ. Send me a message if you're interested and I'll get back to you on a suitable time to come view the room and to meet the house mates. Ps. Photo's are on their way
I am great roomate, have been living in shared houses for past 5 years and can get references if needed :) I am very respectful and spreading good vibes. I love cooking, sharing glass of wine time to time and having quick chit chats in the common areas. I love to create atmosphere where everyone can feel like at home and I like joke around keeping happy environment. But if I am not interacting I am very quite person, I don't like loud noice at place where I live and want to relax. But in general I am very active I love board games, but more I like being outside and playing volleyball, tennis, sailing or other outside sports. I am exchange student from Europe. Looking for one month stay from 28 of September till 28 of October.
Hello! I'm Clare, I'm a mature student at UTAS and I also work for the university. I like to cook, run and sing (not at home!) and try to live sustainably where I can. I'm a tidy, responsible and friendly housemate; I like my quiet time but also enjoy sharing a cuppa or occasional meal. I'll be moving at the end of November and I'm looking for a room in a house with a kindred spirit or two; or a studio or granny flat.
I am Zach, originally from Bombay but I have made Hobart my home for little over a year now while pursuing my masters of applied science in biological science. Looking for a safe place with sociable and open-minded roommates. I am open-minded, cooperative and sociable. Love to learn new things and experience new cultures. The presence of your pets is highly favourable. Apart from Biology I enjoy theatre and would love to explore the city and the local wildlife in my free time. Will be at uni or at work most days of the week, but keen to kick back during the weekends. Always down for Harry Potter Movie Marathons!
Quiet and work a lot so I'm not around a whole bunch. I keep to myself a lot at home and appreciate my own space but would also appreciate being able to be mates with the people I live with. I'm into climbing, motorcycles, and surfing. I have a couple of motorcycles so I would need somewhere to keep them like a garage or workshop...
I'm originally from Tassie and moving back to Hobart after living in Melbourne for 5 years. Keen to find a housemate who is relaxed, keeps a tidy house, and enjoys a glass of red while watching the bachelor (or an equally trashy reality show!) mid week.

I’m moving to Hobart for work in the city, I have a busy project to begin so will be out a lot during the week. I enjoy a wine or two after work. I do smoke but very respectful and clean and will only do so outside.
Friendly and food motivated! Love to share a meal with housies when possible. I work for a non for profit in advocacy and family therapy. Really love my job and it keeps me quite busy throughout the week. I like to get outdoors whenever possible and would prefer a glass of wine and card game over “going out”. I’m looking for house mates that are clean but easy going. Some down to earth people that are happy to share some chats, music, and a beer after work when we can. I take pride in my home and hope my housemates would too. 🌵🌴🌞🏡 I hope to bring my beautiful Nanna cat. She has moved around Australia and Tasmania with me over the last 3 years. She is the snuggliest and sweetest.
Hello, We are looking for a room, we are moving from Melbourne so we are excited about this new beginning in Tasmania. We are friendly, responsible people, we like cleanliness. We like to share moments with our flatmates but we respect your privacy and your belongings.
I'm turning 28 and rarely go to loud parties. I respect privacy and boundaries but also enjoy good conversations at home and sharing stories. I've worked in education and tech companies. I've lived in USA and China, and loved traveling to different countries. I'm relatively new to Tasmania but love it a lot so plan to stay here for longer. Now, I'm taking a course in Hobart city center as a student. I'm into psychology, philosophy, meditation, podcasts, classical music, old European films, and being close to nature. I try to maintain a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle. I'm looking for a place where I can have my own space but also the company of good people who share similar values. I love dogs so would love to live with dog owners. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions:)
