Hi! My name is Megan and I'm looking for a place to stay from August in 2018. I'm looking for a place that will be able to accommodate both me and my sister, Erin, so hopefully you have either a couple of rooms or one large room available. We'd love to be in a 'family' style share house with friendly flatmates who we can have fun with but who also respect each other's need for quiet at times :) Ideally, we'd like to live close to the city, but are willing to move further out if you are on a bus route that has regular services throughout the week. Erin also has a car, so it would be great if your place has parking available as well. A bit about us: we're both currently studying at UTAS, and working. I'm a bit of a grandma on the inside, I love arts and crafts, a good cup of tea and baking (and of course sharing my creations :) ), and I'm also really interested in ecology and nature. Erin's definitely an art-y type, and she loves creating beautiful things in her spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I am a student at UTAS. I am tidy, clean and always try hard to look after the place. I have experience with house sharing before having house shared for over 1 yr and understand the boundaries set with other people. I am a full time study student so will not be home for a lot of the time. I am easy going and friendly to others. I have lived in Australia for 10+ years.

Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen
I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne to start my masters at Utas in the beginning of July. Lived in the shared house for the last five years, so know the drill. Neat, respectful and a Banter. Into cooking whenever I'm free and more than happy to share a meal or two. Love to socialize and respect personal space. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going, friendly and always up for a laugh.

It is very close to university and it has good access to all amenities. Very independent space , non demanding. Open living areas and private bedroom spaces. Large generous garden with established trees and plants. It is an older house so has some quirks which I will attempt to have sorted as soon as possible. As I have only just moved myself I have some refinement still to do. If you can handle the transition then this generous space will work well for you.
Quiet split level house with large open living area and nice view. Short (20 min) walk to CBD or Sandy Bay/UTAS. Air-conditioned upstairs with balcony on the upper level and deck downstairs. A small room on the lower level contains the hot water cylinder as well as a workbench which you are welcome to use if desired. A small garden is on the upper level and a slightly bigger garden on the lower level. Balcony in the lower garden perfect for setting up a BBQ if you want. Fast internet connection (NBN 100/40) with unlimited data. Rent is paid fortnightly and bills (electricity/internet) are split between occupants. Any house maintenance or repairs will also be split evenly unless agreed upon otherwise. The house has 3 bedrooms, with the available room being the smaller-sized of the 3. There is a double bed and desk included, but you may want to provide your own linens. You are welcome to remove or replace any of the existing furniture to your liking.
Room to rent in house in South Hobart. :: Looking for: I’m looking to share my house with a mature person, 35 years +, who is working. I would ideally like to live with someone with similar lifestyle and values to me: enviro friendly, care about community, inclusive and respectful of diversity, left leaning, feminist, non smoker, clean up after yourself, happy to do housework without needing a roster, respectful, pay bills on time, keen to get a veggie garden going. :: About Me: I’m mature, I work full time, and I’ve recently moved to Tasmania. I'm a morning person. I'm a vegetarian, if you're vego/vegan that would be ideal but not essential. I like a calm home, a happy home, and a fun home - happy for music and films and food and drinks and chats and dinner parties etc but not looking for someone who wants a party house. :: The Room: Is a good size, easily fits a queen bed plus other furniture, has floorboards, North facing, has bay windows, and a view of the mountain. There is a double and a single wardrobe in the room, otherwise it is unfurnished. (The wardrobes came with the house and can’t be removed, though one could go into another room if it’s not needed but not both). :: Location: The house is near the Salad Bowl, the South Hobart shops, close to Ginger Brown, Bear with me, and is an easy 17 min walk into the CBD. :: Cost: Rent is $235 per week (electricity, internet, water etc will be extra) Plus 4 weeks rent for Bond You will need to submit an application through the Real Estate Available: 31 July No pets, sorry.
Hi, I'm Aviral from India. I have just arrived in Hobart on 12.07.2018 for pursuing my master's from University of Tasmania from July 2018. I'm mature, kind and fun loving guy. I assure you that you will love my company. Hope to see you soon. Many thanks
Hey potential housemate, I'm Sam. I've moved to Hobart to start a new job and am keen to settle in a nice place to come home to. I love to cook, share a bottle of wine or a pot of tea over a chat. I'm the right amount of social for a housemate and I'm house trained for cleaning, tidiness and general noise. I'm really after a home house, rather than a party house.
Hi there, I am a healthcare professional and an aspiring physician from Melbourne, moving to Hobart in July to study medicine at UTas. I am extremely clean and tidy, love to explore nature, try out new restaurants and wineries, play some golf or just go for a nice drive (if and whenever I do get the time) and generally try to be as polite and helpful as I can be. I am always up for a meal together but am also very respectful of other people's space. I am definitely not looking for a party house or a place that is loud on the weekend, but a place where we can share a meal, have a glass of wine occasionally and share an intelligent conversation. I am looking to move into a shared house or team up ASAP as my uni starts in the second week of July. Regards, Dhruv
Hey! I’m re-locating to Hobart for work in August and looking for a place for 6-12 months at first. During the week, I am mostly working, dodging gym or watching a TV show after work. I like to get up early, do my meal prep on the weekends, and be a slob on Sundays. Pretty considerate about others’ privacy and hope my future housemate/s are the same. Pretty easy going otherwise, so I’d be more than happy to chill on the weekends, have the occasional beer after work. Feel free to shoot me a message if you’d like to look at places together or have a room in your place you’d like to rent out.
I'm student who study IT in UTAS, and i just move to Hobart for couple days. I am easy going, respectful and Social person would love a house mate or mates to get around on weekends but also like my quiet time like anybody!
Hi, I'm Andy, I'm looking for a female flatmate to share a place with next year when my lease runs out in February 2019. I'll be looking to rent a 2 bedroom place somewhere decent and central. I am pretty laid back, am a writer and have had on/off jobs, but am hoping to get more stable work before 2019. I am pretty respectful of others, I clean up after myself and am tidy. I don't smoke and enjoy red wine but don't drink heavily, I don't have any pets but don't have a problem with pets. When I'm not working I spend most of my time writing, reading, video gaming, bushwalking oh and one of my favourite activities, sleeping XD.

I have recently moved to Hobart, Tasmania and I am looking for a room in a sharehouse. I used to run a transport business for 4 years and I have acted as a landlord for 10 years back home. Avid Chinese Tea, photography and aviation enthusiast. Loves cooking up a good meal and well equipped kitchens are always welcome. I am a very easygoing person and love sitting down for a cup of tea when I am free. Flexible with locations and they do not need to be any of those listed, but I do have in mind places to avoid.
