Hello! My name is Nenagh (same as Nina). I am a 24 year old Tasmanian student at UTAS studying in my 4th year of a Bachelor of Arts with sociology and a Bachelor of Science with zoology and plant science. I also work 2 jobs. I love cooking, gardening, bush walking, drawing, reading and a good ol' pint at the pub. I am a really easy going laid back type of person and have had experience living in share houses before so I understand the responsibilities that come with it. I do have a pet budgie called Alfie. He is very sweet, easily contained and very low maintenance/mess as a pet. He has his own cage that I would normally just keep in my room. I'm looking for a share house with housemates that I could easily get along with and call my friends. So I would love to come and meet you!
Hi, I'm Jen. I graduated last year from UTAS with a Bachelor of Social Work and currently have casual work. I am looking to start a share house in Hobart not too far from the city with two other like-minded women. Looking for housemates that are friendly and want to keep a clean house. I like to go for walks and workout at the gym. I also enjoy cooking and baking and will let you try my creations. I don't mind the occasional drink with friends and it would be nice to have friends over sometimes. I enjoy being social with others and time by myself. I have a car so need somewhere that has adequate parking. I have my own bedroom furniture but it would be great to find someone that has furniture or find a place that is partially furnished. Send me a message if you are interested in starting a share house in Hobart or looking to move to Hobart around early May. :)
I am moving to Hobart from Brisbane for a full time job in Sandy Bay starting on May 6th. My area of work is marine biology/fisheries administration. I am 24 years old, single, and a friendly but quiet person. I enjoy baking, cooking, rock climbing, and hiking, and am a big animal lover. I'm looking for a home with friendly people who like to socialise but are respectful of each other's privacy and space. A fairly quiet home during the week appeals to me.
Hello! I'm Anna and I've just moved down from Brisbane for uni. I'm pretty friendly, easygoing, and tidy, and at the moment I'm planning on a major in English so I'll be doing a lot of reading in my spare time - I'm not going to be a very loud housemate. I'd love to live with people that double as friends as I don't know very many people down here yet - I'd love to have occasional dinner/movie/music nights etc if you're into that!
I am easy-going, tidy and sensible. Work part-time and also recently started a PhD in International Relations. Easy to get along with + considerate of privacy. I enjoy movies, nature, reading and sharing the occasional drink & meal. Happy to team up with like-minded, friendly people to find a place
Hey future flatmate! I will be moving to Hobart from Melbourne in May to work and study. I am looking for a relaxed house with chill, fun housemates who love a good chat but respect each other's privacy. I am respectful, clean and friendly :) Let me know if you have a spare room or would like to team up :)
The house is fully furnished with an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, laundry with an extra toilet and modern bathroom. The available room includes a bed base and mattress and has an inbuilt wardrobe. House is close to the city but feels secluded with a nature reserve behind the house. Looking for a new addition to my home in Dynnyrne with 1 room available to rent – available from 14 March 2019. Rent is $210 per week which includes NBN internet. No off street parking.
Hi there, Ex-Tasmanian (from the NW coast) making the move back to the island after a few years on the mainland. Looking for a place in the inner suburbs of Hobart that is cosy, warm and shared with some fantastic people. Be looking to move in late April, am flexible though. Very much pro-pets. A little about me: Making the move back to Tasmania after university and working in Melbourne. I've always loved Hobart, and have decided to bite the bullet and shift down to be closer to the beautiful Tasmanian landscapes and home. Will be working, and possibly studying, which will take up a fair bit of time. In my free moments, I love bushwalking, reading, keeping fit, having a drink or two, getting out and about and meeting people and sharing stories. I'm fairly social, but know when quiet time is necessary. I'm a man who is into men, so if that's an issue, best to skip me. Years of sharehousing has made me, I think, a solid choice in housemate - I'm tidy, I love gardening, and I enjoy making a house a home in a respectful way. No problems on the paying bills and rent on time front either. Give me a go, and you won't be disappointed. Dylan :~)
We are a nice and friendly brazilian couple looking for a nice place to live and some good friends. We are easy-going persons, non smokers (no problem to live with someone who smokes though) and mostly quiet, but who enjoy a bier or two with a barbecue on the weekends. We like outdoor activities, especially going to the beach and travelling, and would enjoy a company to do that activities with as well.
Hi! I'm a 26 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental as my current landlord has decided to sell at end of my lease. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read or watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I love books and movies/tv shows (particularly horror and fantasy/sci-fi!) history, pizza and having the odd drink of a good cider. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority
Full time student studying Business Administration and casual worker at your local woolies! Super tidy and always up for cooking a feast. I enjoy some gaming and Netflix bingeing in my spare time. I have done house sharing for 3 years, I know all the in and outs of it. Can provide cheap internet if required and some basic kitchen and lounge furniture.
We live in a beautiful four bedroom home that has been recently renovated. It has a large open plan living/kitchen area with top of the range appliances. Its a beautiful space to both cook and relax. We have two bathrooms, one with a large spa bath and we are very fortunate to have a large backyard with a very prosperous vege patch in the summer months (the playground in the photo is no longer there- sorry!). We have ducted heating for the winter months and a double garage that can be used for plenty of storage (not for parking- street parking only but there is LOTS of it and no permits required). We have a smaller, second living space with a second TV for a bit of extra room.
After two years around Australia, I landed in the beautiful Hobart where I will study for two years leadership and management. I previously studied chemistry in Italy and did research in lab. Now I'm here to study management. I have many interests, I like hiking, wine tasting, dance, fishing.
I live in Melbourne but because I'm studying part time in Hobart I will be in Hobart every two weeks for classes. I have an 11yo boy who will be with me every fortnight in Melbourne. I'm an artist, art therapist and art teacher, studying law (for activism). I don’t smoke or drink. I eat organic as much as possible. Health and laughter is important. Love gardening and the beach. At this stage I need something for short visits (I have three visits remaining for this semester) but next semester onwards perhaps something more permanent would be good.
We r couple from China and South Korea. I am studying full time and looking for a part time job, my Bf is working full time. We lived in sharehouse for last 4 yrs so we understand the house rules, we like to keep our living place clean as well. We r friendly and always up for a drink and talk~~
Hiya, have recently accepted a job in Hobart working for local government in the arts and I’m now on the hunt for a room in a quiet, friendly place which I can call home. I am 30 years old female graphic designer who is house trained, is always happy to help out around the house, I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets. I’m laid back, a good listener and I find it easy to get along with people. I’m originally from New Zealand (so don’t let the accent stump you) but, most recently, I’ve been living in Launceston. I love getting out and hiking/camping. I enjoy music, the arts, a good cup of coffee and I’m usually keen to try something new.
Friendly, clean, tidy, respectful, sensitive to the needs of others. Have not shared before, have had my children on my own for 22+ years. All left home now. I have been living in Queensland for 13 years and want to return to Tas. Most of my family are in the Huon area, I would visit them. I’m fit and healthy; run, hike and cycle most days - mainly run in the winter (not fast). Any other info required please message phone. Thank you, Leah
Since moving back to the lovely Apple Isle from the sunny Far North Queensland coast, Lexi (beagle x lab) and I are looking for a place to call home. We both come house trained and since i work mostly night youll hardly know we are there. We sleep throughout the day. Lexi has been brought up inside and so she has propper house ettiqute but she is ok in a secure backyard if needed. We hope we can tick all of your boxes and can find somewhere to call home.
I have recently moved to Hobart after travelling on the mainland in my campervan the past six months. I am very friendly, easy going and easy to live with. I’m clean and tidy, reliable with bills and respectful. I enjoy my own company but also enjoy hanging out over a meal/wine/coffee. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the great outdoors (camping, hiking etc), yoga, reading/watching a good movie or series amongst others things! I’m looking for similarly minded, easy going housemates to share with :)
We are a loving and friendly couple from Melbourne. Looking to move into Tasmania for study purposes with our new born. We love mixing with people from different cultures and communities. We are fun loving, love to share and always willing to help in whatever way we can.
Hi there, My name is Josh and I have recently relocated to Hobart from rural Victoria. I am a single student attending UTAS full time and also working part time. I am currently staying with friends however I was renting on the mainland. I am a clean, respectful, quiet guy but I also love chatting with my housemates and enjoying a bbq every now and then, I can also provide references. I'm keen to explore Hobart and I am very excited to live in Tasmania. At this stage I could move in at anytime it is just a matter of securing a home! Please feel free to ask me any further questions!
I am responsible, respectful, very approachable and social. I am looking to be apart of or create a HOME environment, not just a place to live.
Hi folks I live in Queensland but want to relocate to Tasmania in December. Currently studying at CQU but finish in October, I am well travelled and like to live a quite life. Enjoy bush walking, camping and love to read and watch a good movie. I have a desexed female rescue dog named Chico. Would like to maybe team up with someone, not a big drinker but like a Guinness every now and then. Looking for a clean and tidy person who has no pets, as one dog at a property is enough. I mind my own business but love a chat and can appreciate space and respect.
I'm in my mid 20s. I work in IT and I am studying Community Support. I'm gay. I'm looking for a room in a great sharehome, or a group of people who want to work together to set something awesome up. Ideally within walking distance of either the city or the UTAS Sandy Bay campus - but a short bus ride near lots of routes is good too. I'm really keen on finding a home with people who share my values. When I'm not working or studying I like to play games, do crafts, read, and socialise. I love listening to and playing music. I like a friendly and social household, where people can hang out together and cook shared meals - especially a BBQ! I like a respectful household where shared spaces are always welcoming. I like to chat and hang out, but I also like to be able to have space when I want. I'm a big fan of communication. I also am keen on sharing the cost of a cleaner. I don't have very much in the way of furniture, but I do have bedroom stuff plus a TV and surround sound, some consoles, a NAS, and a fantastic Wi-Fi system. I also have a good internet plan that I would be keen to transfer to my new address. I like to be able to have guests over occasionally, and who can sometimes stay for a night or a few.
