I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
I'm a communications professional and writer, Hobart-local and easy going girl looking for a place to call home. I also have a friend who's a sports journalist looking for a home also - so happy to team up. I enjoy going for walks on the weekend, brunch, baking, walking my brother's dogs - two delightful pugs whom unfortunately won't be moving with me, and Netflix and chilling. Would love a house where I can develop a friendship with housemates - but also respect that we're all busy and enjoy alone-time.
Hi There, I am mauricio, I am currently based on Melbourne, recently I got a job offer as geotechnical engineer (google it ;) ) and I am looking for a place to share and get to know some cool people. I am colombian, Ive been 7 years in australia, pretty easy to live with, super chilled, also I am doing my masters part time so I will be extremely busy. Additionally I do have a little ragdoll boy called, he is pretty well trained, desexed so no issues, pretty sweet boy. If you want to have a chat or anything just let me know I am also happy to team up :)
I'm a neuroscience PhD student who's approaching the light at the end of the tunnel; thesis submission. I'm looking to move due to my current housemate moving away, with any time in November suiting me. I do a lot of bushwalking and travel with my partner, love books, cooking and exercise-I'm also chained to the lab, so I'm not often home. My biggest must-have for flatmates is cleanliness and respect; it'd be great to live with like-minded people! I can actually be fun too-I love cooking for people, sharing meals, having a cheeky drink and exploring. In the house, I'll either be eating PB out of a jar, doing a crossword, cleaning or just chatting to housemates-I also definitely appreciate the need to chill out on your own too! Looking forward to making new pals, Em
I'm a 19 year old full-time student at UTAS, I'm doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) Pathway. I am also currently looking for work. I generally keep to myself and I'm a pretty laid back person. I spend most of my time at Uni or in my room. I would preferably like somewhere that doesn't mind visitors as I would like my boyfriend to be able to visit me once a week or so. I am a quiet person but I also enjoy conversations with others. I have basic cooking skills and I am a clean & tidy person.
An incoming UTAS graduate student, I enjoy fun and insightful conversations and outdoor activity (sports, treks, etc). I'll selfishly boast as well that I can strike a chord with absolutely anyone. Look forward!
It is very close to university and it has good access to all amenities. Very independent space , non demanding. Open living areas and private bedroom spaces. Large generous garden with established trees and plants. It is an older house so has some quirks which I will attempt to have sorted as soon as possible. As I have only just moved myself I have some refinement still to do. If you can handle the transition then this generous space will work well for you.
Super close to UTAS and CBD. Air conditioning, dishwasher, dryer. Spare room for additional storage, second toilet, and pleasant small outdoor area. 1 off street car park is shared however street parking is not an issue. We care about keeping our house nice and tidy and are looking for someone fun and friendly to join our household. We also appreciate some time to ourselves. (1 student, 1 working full time) Looking for someone to take over my spot on the lease!!
Moving from Victoria to study.I am friendly and respectful, fairly quiet but also social. I have a great sense of humor. I am able too cook and clean. i will have a stable job once i move as i can get a transfer from my current job. I will be studying physics and geology. I love to explore national parks or forests in my free time. I have a car and am on my P1 license but will almost be up to P2 by the time i move. Also planning on buying a new bicycle so a room within cycling distance of UTas would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

Hey! I am currently living in Kingston and working part time, I'm only new to Hobart and have been staying with friends, I am looking at staying somewhere for around 6 weeks while I organise getting a place of my own! I'm a very tidy person and keep to myself most of the time, I love to have a laugh and always find the positives in situations!
Hi! My name is Pirrin and I have recently moved down from Brisbane and am looking for a share house to move in to. I've just finished a 5 year stint working at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane, and also a 4 month holiday in Europe! I'm now working casually in hospitality while I find my feet in Hobart. I'm a tidy and respectful housemate but also keen to make some new friends. I am looking for something relatively short term :)
Chatty, quiet, always up for a laugh, and easy to talk to over a cuppa. Enjoy cooking, and sharing my food. Studying Marine and Antarctic Science at UTAS and looking to move in with people after living by myself for a year and getting lonely!
Hello to everyone :) I'm graduated in Biology (Biodiversity), my boyfriend is doing a master in Aquaculcture. We are very quiet, sociable, tidy, clean, responsible people we like to cook (sometimes we cook Italian pizza). Thanks in advance to who will contact us!
I am Full time working apprentice painter. I love music, gym, camping, interior Design, fashion and the list goes on! I am look for somewhere with a comfy and friendly environment
I am a Danish exchange student coming to Hobart to do a clinical placement at the Royal Hobart Hospital in the fall. I like travelling, red wine, lazy Sundays and hiking. I am easygoing and open-minded and I like being active, in particular dance and running. I am normally living in a flatshare in Copenhagen, so I know how it works. I hope to find a room/flatshare as I like the social aspect of living with other people.
I'm a friendly and open minded girl, from Hobartia, studying masters and working. I am into yoga and learning to surf. I have a lovely dog Bear, I can leave her at my family home but it would be nice if she could visit or stay. :) It's awesome in Hobart, summer is coming and I'm celebrating early with lots of swims and outdoor time :)
Hi. We're moving to Hobart area from Queensland. Looking for a short term shared or longer term private appartment or house. Easy going. Friendly and fun. Both professionals. Past partying.
Soon I'm moving to Hobart from Queensland for work and so I'm looking for a share house to move into with like-minded types. I think 3 is a good number. A short bullet-point summary of me; I like socialising. This may include going out for meals and drinks at new places, playing bit of pub trivia, or going to watch bands. I amateurishly play a bit of music myself, however I fear the only instrument I'll manage to take down to Tasmania with me is a ukulele. When I find the time I like to cook for friends and housemates. Tonight we're having paella. :) I like outdoor activities - currently I do a bit of sailing and camping but I'll have to wait to see what I get into once I'm in Tassie.
I am a medical student who will be undertaking a 10-week placement st the Royal Hobart Hospital from mid-Nov to mid-January. I've lived with several housemates throughout my undergrad in Canada and am currently living with others through my med degree in Ireland. I get along really well with everyone and am great friends with all my housemates. I'm pretty easy-going and clean up after myself. I'm into sports, travelling, and winding down after a long day with a good bit of banter over some drinks. Drop a line if anyone's interested to offer a spare room/team up eh!
My name is Stacey and I am currently completing the final year of my PhD at IMAS. I have years of great experiences living in sharehouses and am now looking for somewhere quieter to live as my PhD is reaching the final stretch. I am extremely clean, love to chat and pretty easy going.
Work for myself as a plumber, also studying for my pilots license. Sports usually take up my remaining free time. Pretty out going, I don't really spend much time at home... Which I guess is a good thing for you? Tidy and independent... I am an amateur chef, but I do make this pretty bad ass taco/burger/burrito thing.
Hi! :) My name is Emma, I'm 28 years and just arrived in Hobart all the way from Denmark. I'm looking for a place to live somewhere near the university (Sandy Bay Campus), where I will be doing my internship in criminology until the middle of December. I like to think that I am nice, easy to be around, openminded and a lot of other good things of course. Would love for a place to live, where we could make dinners/go for a beer/coffee every once in a while, but I also respect privacy (and I will need it myself too). I LOVE cats and dogs, so if you have pets - that is just a bonus! :)
Yo! Just having a peak on here for the not too distant future. I moved to Hobart in April after a death in the family, so I'm currently living a bit further out than is ideal but soon enough it will be time to fly the coop and begin afresh! I have lived in Brisbane, Melbourne and now Hobart all within the space of 14 months, and have oodles of share housing experience from the past 10+ years. When the time is right I'm hoping to find decent sized dwelling to house my wares and trinkets with some other artistic/creative types. I'm 32 and I'm just getting into the groove of being in new place at the moment. My most recent job in Melbourne was teaching guitar at a grammar school, so with any luck I'll ultimately get to go back to that sort of work. I didn't get a chance to start a masters in Melbourne, but am adamant about starting a masters of music next year, which I intend to do very slowly! Despite being a musician I'm pretty quiet in all aspects, but most definitely friendly and enjoy good house hangs/chats. I do like to spend a fair bit of time to myself, drinking tea and listening to podcasts, burning incense, reading, or just noodling away on some music, watching netflix, the normal sort of stuff. I do love a tipple, though I'm not likely to fall through the front door every weekend. Always on time with rent and bills, courteous and clean without being a fascist. looking for similar minded folk.
I'm a 21 year-old male from Singapore who is a future UTAS medical student come February 2018. With that in mind, I'm looking to find accommodation preferably near UTAS (Hobart). I'm looking long-term accommodations because it can really be a hassle to keep moving from place to place throughout my 5-year study at UTAS. The Jane Franklin Hall is offering a single room at $400pw with food, laundry, wifi, bills, furniture and transport all covered. For private accommodation to compete with this rate, rental should fall within $200pw. Hit me up if you think you have accommodation that suits my needs! A little about myself: I'm your typical asian dude with thick eyebrows, a flat nose, ears that flap outwards and a not-so-typical forte - Contemporary dance. I'm sporty and fun, but nowhere near 'party animal'. Well I love studying so I guess some would say I'm a nerd too (LOL). As an aspiring doctor, I love to keep clean and organized. I prepare my own meals to save costs and facilitate my macro goals (I'm a fitness enthusiast too). I love doing my own things, but am also very social and friendly. I'm super chill so really just about anything goes with me. I hate being inconsiderate because I believe in treating somebody else the way you want to be treated, so you can rest assured I'm a good housemate :).
Hi there My name is Gaurav and i'm a content writer/sous chef looking for a room in or around Hobart. I'm currently enrolled to do a one year course at VTI Hobart and would love to share a house with anyone. I keep my surroundings clean and enjoy occasional conversations with my flatmates. Cooking and listening to music keeps me happy and i'm always keen on trying new things. It would be great to find someone to share a house or apartment with. I'm not very fussy. It would also be nice to team up with someone looking for a place themselves Looking forward to a pleasant year in one of the most beautiful spots in Australia. : ) Kind Regards Gaurav Holay
