About the room: The room is downstairs and is close to the garage so you’d have lots of storage space and could even leave via the garage door if you’d like that extra bit of privacy. It’s a huge room at 3.5 x 3.9 with big windows that look out onto the peaceful front garden, so you’ll get lots of green and afternoon sun. It comes with its very own bathroom with a shower and even a heated towel rack. It also has its own kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and sink. You could potentially get a portable stove top if you’d like to cook downstairs. About the house: It’s a big house located near Cooks river for all your walking needs. We have a lovely backyard with a stone pizza maker and hot tub which doesn’t currently work but we’d love to all save up and get fixed. The whole place is a bit eccentric. Everything else is upstairs including two toilets and a bathroom with a bathtub! We’re a 5 minute walk from 2 bus routes who can drop you off at either Marrickville or Dulwich Hill station in under 10 mins, or it’s a 20 min bus ride to Newtown. Unfortunately, we are aren’t accepting any more pets as there will be Pablo the bird and Milo the cat and neither are great with other animals. Pablo especially loves to make noise and a mess when he’s chilling out of his cage, so you would have to be accepting of that but as your room is downstairs he wouldn’t be visiting you down there and you probably wouldn’t hear him.

Hi all, I'm looking for a room in a house in Sydney where I can stay for at least 6 months. I'm from Melbourne, and have been living in Sydney for a few months now, but my work contracts up until now have been very short and its been difficult to plan for the future. Now my contract goes until the end of February 2020, so I'm keen to find somewhere I can move in some more stuff so it can feel a bit more home-y. If your room already has a bed and a small amount of furniture though, that would definitely be a plus. I work full-time at the National Archives of Australia's Sydney branch working with their audio-visual data. I really enjoy it most of the time; I think I find working with data more interesting than most others would haha. But I'm also a big creative; I studied musical theatre for 3 years, and have a cabaret to my name that I'm planning to bring to a festival in Sydney next year. As for where I'm looking to move to, I either want to stay close to the city on the T3 line so I can commute via train (around Marrickville, Earlwood, Campsie, Canterbury) OR very close to work to so I can either walk or catch the M91 bus there (Parramatta, Chester Hill, Granville, Sefton, Yagoona). [PLEASE don't message me unless you live in or next to one of these areas]. I usually keep to myself at home but I enjoy a good chat with the people I live with. I'm friendly, polite and have several years experience living in sharehouses in Melbourne. Hope to hear from you. Cheers!
Beautiful oasis within easy reach of transport, Marrickville and Newtown. My favourite flatmate (who I've lived with for five years over two houses) is moving to Paris and I now have two rooms available in "The Palace": $285 and $280 including internet and fortnightly cleaner. Sharing with me and another guy (oh, and Girl Cat 🦊😍). I like to keep things pretty clean, tidy and respectful but, if you know me, and you probably don't, I definitely like a wine down 🥂🍸🍷 at the end of the day and a good singalong/boogie 💃🎤🎼🎹 or game of cards/dice 🎲♠️♥️♣️♦️on a Friday night. We're on the Marrickville/Earlwood border, still close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away that coming home feels like a sanctuary 🏡🌳🌻🌼🌿🌾😀 Lovely 12 minute or so walk to Tempe station where trains run every 9 mins to city during peak hour. Prefer progressive types, definitely not open to rednecks or incels, must be LGBTIQ+ friendly 🏳️🌈 and not looking for any more young cishet males if possible (I have already collected one of those and need different Pokemons in my set 😂) - The bedrooms are a decent size: 3.7m x 3.7m. - Both rooms at front of house, with windows overlooking lovely verandah. - Rental per week, paid every two weeks in advance - Rent includes cleaner every two weeks and internet - Bond is 3 weeks' rent, paid upon moving in - Energy and water bills approximately $300 pp per quarter The house is very comfortable and livable with many conveniences: - Ducted air conditioning, reverse cycle cooling and heating (Summer in Sydney is a bitch, be cool!) - Carport and driveway with space for multiple cars as well as plenty of on-street parking with no permits or tickets required - Grass lawn with collapsible Hill's hoist clothesline and a raised entertaining terrace - Large island kitchen with dishwasher - Integrated sound system - Striking sandstone garden oasis and natural surrounds - Close to picturesque parklands and Cook's River (The time estimates below are very strange - I timed myself this morning) - Tempe train station is a lovely 12 min walk through parklands, with trains every 9 mins to city. - Newtown is a $16 Uber or buses 423 or L23 from end of our street, 2 min walk, and coming back from outside the Bank Hotel.
Hey mate I am Cleyton 37yo but you can call me Tim as well. I am living in Sydney around 1 year and 7 months, work full time and study twice a week. Im very organized, clean and in my free time I practice outdoor sports together with my hiking group. Of course I like to share a glass of wine or beer with a good conversation meeting new people. I'm looking for my own single room in a quiet, clean and organized place.
I am 22 years old Japanese female who is looking for place to live. I am clean, quiet, easygoing, tidy and friendly. Please contact me. Thank you:)
Hi! My name is Jeremy and I am 28 years old. I work as a Graphic Designer in Sydney while studying Social Media Marketing. Since I’m pretty busy I am looking for a nice and quiet place to call home. A little bit about me: I try to live a healthy lifestyle, I like to eat well and cook for myself, and do some sport when I can. I am very tidy and clean, chill and easy going. I enjoy having some time for myself to study, relax, or just go out, but I am always down for a chat over a glass of wine or having a good laugh. I am very optimistic my new place will have some nice flatmates I can have some good times with, and if there is a pet that’s even better :) Ideally for me would be to be able to move in mid-October for long term but I can be flexible. See you soon!
