Hey there, We're looking for somewhere to live in Geelong for around 4-6 months before hopefully heading interstate for work. I'm a Registered Nurse working in Geelong and Lachie is just finishing up his last exams (whooo!) and works in hospitality. We are a pretty chill, social and tidy couple. I'm a pretty keen crafter and enjoy the good ol' op shop. Lach enjoys a medium rare steak and his two main loves are sport and dachshunds. We enjoy good tunes, a tv binge watch, tasty food, D&Ms and cold Bevs. We do enjoy our privacy too and will always respect yours. Hope to hear from you soon.
Moving out of the rents house finally. Recently graduated as a nurse and midwife and will be working at Geelong Hospital. I currently work at the Geelong Hospital with people with cognitive and intellectual impairments. I've already travelled Africa, Asia and South America so wont be planning another holiday any time soon. Pretty cool chick.

I am a 23 year old, who works full time as a lawyer. I enjoy swimming, travelling, socialising on the weekends and cooking (I make some damn good cheesecake). I am looking for the place to stay in the Geelong CBD, or around Belmont/Highton. I would preferably like a share house as I enjoy talking with others and having a beer/meal with housemates, but I would also like to have my own space at times. I don't mind people coming over and having occasional gathering. I also have a cat with me that enjoys going outside and is toilet trained. My maximum budget is $160 p/week and I am looking for somewhere unfurnished. I also have additional furniture such as a table and a couch. Hopefully you have a place for me and my cat! Cheers
I like pets. Cats more than dogs. I have very mild Autism so if you are a good communicator, we should be fine. Please don't push either Neurodiversity nor Anti Vax crap on me. I have no alcohol nor substance abuse issues. I'm a non-smoker. I don't play loud music nor randomly make loud noises. I can drink socially just fine. I'm on the Disability Support Pension and have brilliant financial self discipline. You won't have any trouble getting me to cough up for bills. I amuse myself with anal retentive internet research and fact checking. Also gaming and using mods. Recreationally I walk, am active in the geek meatspace scene. I'm really into table top RPGs and movies with reasonable plots rather than big budgets. My politics is left of center and I'm effectively a social democrat. I don't shy away from deep conversations if thats on offer, hell I don't even understand small talk. Seriously I don't. I'm privately messy (mental chaos issues), but agreeable and cooperative with being clean and tidy in common areas.
Hi! I'm Shelley. I have recently returned to Geelong after working interstate and I am looking for somewhere to live for at least 2-3 months to begin with. I am seeking self-contained, fully furnished type accommodation preferably with only 1 other housemate. I lead a very healthy and active lifestyle. I am a non smoker and have my own car. I am working and studying. I am by nature a very clean and tidy person. I am organised, mature and super reliable. Easy going and very friendly. I am a considerate person and respect people's privacy. I have excellent references if required. Cheers.
I am very relaxed friendly and sociable but I also know that people like their own space. I love to cook and share my meals with people. I work in childcare and am currently studying my diploma which is why I only work part time. I love music and watching movies and the odd computer game too. Whilst I’m an all round sports fan. I’m used to living with females so I I’ve learnt a lot of cleanliness habits.
Hey! I'm 27 and I work at Geelong Hospital. I am very easy going and respectful and would love to live with someone who I can hang out with but doesn't mind space too. I have 2 very friendly cats...they are more like dogs but are always inside (they can't really cat) so someone who is good with cats and won't let them escape is a must! They usually get along with dogs if the dog is ok with them. Look forward to hearing from you!
I am workong part time for a building company. I love to cook, can keep clean and play alot of sports. Looking to move out of my current house late October early November. I have never missed a payment of my rent and never will. I am lookong to move in with 1 or 2 others. Must enjoy a joke here and there :)
Moving in November from Scotland to Geelong for work, looking for somewhere for the short to long-term so that I can get to know the city. Laid back, sociable, respectful, and not afraid to chip in with the housework ;)
Hi I'm currently trying to find somewhere to live for myself and my two year old kelpie called Henry. I'm really clean and out going! But at the moment I'm just putting the feelers out to see what options I have.
Clean, social but like privacy, working regular hours. Love to work-out/walking. Love love animals, I have a beautiful pup who is 4 y/o Very friendly and well trained. Thankyou :)
This is a 3bhk house. 2 members are sharing each bed room. One min distance from bus stop. 5 min from newcomb shopping centre. Bond amount and four weeks advance combinedly $585 per head. If someone want to stay alone, then the rent is $143 per week and bond and advance is $1170.
Located 10 minutes outside Geelong CBD, our 4 year old unit could be the place for you. Cafes and supermarkets are a short drive or walk. The house is fully furnished with dining table, washing machine, tv & DVD + surround sound, outdoor area. Wifi is included in the rent. The new housemate will have a shared bathroom. We live with two female boxers dogs - mainly outside. Due to the size of the yard no more pets are allowed.
- 22 - Clean - Friendly - Can be a little shy at the beginning, but will open up - Social, but not a party animal - Grew up on a farm in the country with 3 sisters - Have previously lived in a share house and by myself - Studied the Bachelor of Fashion at RMIT - Loves: Animals, health & fitness :)
2 bedroom house located in Newcomb close to the city. Great backyard/garden and fully furnished house. Bedroom available is furnished with bed, 2 bedside tables, tall boy and BIR. SLUG available and empty if you required to store furniture. Safe way, buses and shopping centres are only metres away from the property. Option of taking over my lease in 6 months will become available if interested. I have a 8 month old very friendly Labrador who basically rules the house and is 95% of the time inside the house when I'm home so please don't apply if this will be an issue for you as she loves everyone and will want attention. All utility bills are included in the rent price.
My home is a modern 4 year old home in a quiet street. There is good space and all ammenities. I have two rooms available plus own bathroom, and full use of the kitchen and laundry. I do keep a very clean and tidy home.
Quiet little freestanding house on a block of Units, it's double story with living area, laundry, additional toilet and kitchen downstairs, bedrooms and shared bathroom upstairs. We have a split system air conditioner/heater and a single garage (can't be used to park in but is great for storage!) The room is unfurnished, but I have a fridge/freezer, mostly equipped kitchen etc. We're very close to Newcomb Central and Bellarine Village shopping centres. Geelong CBD is less than a 5 minute drive away, there is a 24 hour gym around the corner and Public transport is easily accessible. I have unlimited cable internet which is included in the rent, as is water. Gas and Electricity are not included as they're hard to estimate so I'd prefer to split them when they come in. All applications will have to go through the real estate agent, as you will be joining me on the lease but the agent and the property owner are great people and with the right housemate, i'd be more than happy to renew next year.
This large, beautiful Edwardian period home has been subdivided into units. It is located perfectly: just a five minute walk from South Geelong train station, a 15-20 minute walk from the Geelong CBD, and less than a minute away from buses, an independent cinema, service station/cafe and bottle shop. It is on a lovely street and is nearby Kardinia Park. The room is medium/large in size, is well lit and has a BIR. There is another spare, smaller bedroom - we could either get another housemate, use it as a guest room or have another lounge-room. (Cheaper rent or having your parents stay over? The choice is yours!) There is a massive garage/shed for storage, and plenty of space for a car or three in the driveway (if you drive three cars).
Hi there, I'm looking for a housemate to help occupy this great rental in Geelong. The house is a great character filled brick Californian bungalow and located right next to the Geelong hospital. So, needless to say it is in a very handy location, especially if you work in the medical industry or even in business or hospitality. The CBD is on your doorstep with Westfield shopping a short walk away and the waterfront a little further. A little about the house: - Most important, it is warm in the winter with ducted heating. - It has 4 bedrooms in total, so a little extra space for storage. - A spacious lounge room. - 1 X bathroom with shower and toilet. - The kitchen has a gas cook top. - Separate laundry cupboard, appliances ready to use! - Off street parking available in driveway. But all day parking spots are right out the front. - House is furnished, you'll just need your bedroom contents! Hopefully you.... The ideal tenant is hopefully a full time professional. Clean and also respectful, preferably aged between 27 and 35. Unfortunately the property has a strict no pet policy. 1 room available @ $143/week exc. bills. Available now Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Darren Hawkes and I am a 20 year old male. I was born in England had come over to Australia to live when I was around the age of 7-8. Meeting new people and broadening my insightful prospective are 2 things I love to strive for. After returning to high school for my VCE I had successfully got a scholarship to St Josephs College on Shannon ave In Newtown, studying Studio Art, Health, Math, English and Outdoor education I bring a broad range of experiences with me which I hope to be able to use to converse with. I intend on studying in university one day to either become a nurse or a art teacher. I work on Cunningham pier for "Wah Wah Gee and The Pier Functions" this usually took place every weekend but until recovery I'm receiving payments as I got hit by a car 2 months ago.. If there's any more infomation I can provide please feel free to message me,
***BRINGING MOVE DATE FORWARD. HMU*** Hi. I'm studying sound engineering / music production in Geelong West until the end of 2019 and I'm considering settling here after that. I'm fun to chill with but also reasonably mature so I'll not leave you with a bunch of housework and unpaid bills and lingering bitterness. Let's do this. Would be great to live with other creative professionals if possible but that isn't a dealbreaker. I like Geelong West but will consider other neighbourhoods close to town. Forgive the goofy pic lol.
House trained and easy going I am busy with work and need a clean and friendly furnished room reasonably close to Geelong CBD. Will be away every second weekend with family commitments. Happy by myself or socialise with broad interests and conversation.
Important stuff first: >> Looking for a place with a maximum of 4-5 tenants/bedrooms. >> I need a covered parking spot for my car due to safety reasons. >> I really need some place to live in the locations I've listed. Other than that, no deal. >> I don't do meals for everyone in the house. I'm happy to be included in the cleaning roster (if there is one) but definitely not meal prep roster. Please sort your own meals, thanks. > International Deakin uni student, final year undergrad in architecture/constr. management (due to finish end of 2018) > I'm employed - a professional designer in the construction industry (part-time when uni is in session, full time during breaks) > I love peace and quiet. The occasional party doesn't bother me provided I've been given an early notice. A chat here and there doesn't hurt as well. > Strangers are okay, provided they aren't freeloaders. > I'm a busy person so I'm rarely home (less fuss, less drama). > Pays rent on time (Always). > Clean and tidy person. Happy to split up house chores. I have terrible skin allergies when the place gets too dusty. > Non-smoker. Light drinker. > Friendly, watches footy once in a while, GoT too. > Loves pets, especially big doggos! > Avid gamer. I'm a PC person but I do enjoy a round or two of multiplayer games on consoles. > I'm a bit of a tech geek. I can fix/assemble your computers (Windows only) for small favours (maccas run mostly :P) > Respectful of other people's privacy, personal views and space. > If you play sports, I'm happy to join you in your games. I need the exercise anyway. XD In short: I'm big on cleanliness, independence, kindness and respect.
Hi! My name is jessica and I am 24 years old, currently working and planning on going back to study next year. Feel free to message me on here or my mobile with any questions :) I'm a major geek who likes comic movies and horror movies as well as cooking and I'm pretty laid back as well!
We live in a giant home by the bay! Too big for just us, we regularly have guests and students. The house incorporates 2 other apartments as well as our home so you’ll never be lonely. However, there are many rooms and large spaces and everyone has private areas. Sometimes we don’t see other people for weeks! We are a family of 5, we also have 3 dogs and a cat.
Great central location, a street back from Eastern Beach. The house is old but comfortable. 2 living areas, air conditioning in one, ducted heating throughout. Rooms have built in wardrobes. I have 1 room available now I don't have a lot of furniture as I've lived pretty minimally the last couple of years but have the basics. There is room to accomodate furniture if you come with some. I can possibly provide a mattress Lease ends 30th nov, I'm not looking to renew but you could take it over if you wish.
This is the most amazing house, the best location, 15min walk from Deakin Waterfront, Coles/ Westfield is a 5mins walk. And the whole waterfront is a 5-10 min walk, perfect for summer. Very modern house, (only 2 years old) and very easy to keep clean. The available room has a walk in wardrobe, big window, with bed, and desk provided.
We have one room for rent in a cute older style three bedroom house in the heart of Geelong. Within 10-15 minutes walk of South Geelong train station, the foreshore, supermarkets, a great corner store cafe, airport bus, city centre, barwon river, eastern park, hospital etc. Sharing with two girls. Renovated kitchen with extra large gas stove and oven, dishwasher, storage, double sink, appliances and bench space. Outside laundry room and hills hoist clothesline in private low maintenance backyard. We hope to find a friendly, openminded and reliable housemate who will enjoy living in a simple relaxed environment that is tidy but not always perfectly clean. Open communication, consideration of others and respect for the house and contents is a must. The bedroom is unfurnished and there is some common area storage space. The rest of the house is fully furnished but is kept fairly minimal and clutter free. We really hope to find a likeminded housemate who will enjoy living this way too. Prefer ages around 25-40. The house gets a little cool in winter so if you're somebody who loves it really really warm and toasty this may not be the place for you ;) Strictly no pets, smokers or party people. Parking on the street. Rent includes limited internet, electricity, gas and water. Housemate will need to join the lease (at own cost - $55) once approved by landlord so rental history/references will be very helpful.
