Prime location! Close to Garden Street shopping area, 1.8km from CBD and only 2.6km from Deakin Waterfont. Walking distance to many cafes in the area and also ~approx 200m from our house is a bus stop. The house is located in a lovely, quiet area with plenty of on street parking, but we also have access to back yard parking. I often park in the street as it’s easier, but on the odd occasion I require to park my car out the back. There is room for 2 cars out the back. It is a locked back gate. You will have the main bedroom in the house; which is very large and spacious (5.7 x 3.3m), which comes with BIR and ensuite and direct door access to the backyard. The room comes with a BIR but also comes with 1 freestanding wardrobe and the option of another if wanted. That is all for the room, but the rest of the house is. Furniture in pictures will change from what is shown. Pictures shown are the stock images taken to originally advertise. Furniture will differ once my housemate moves out. Spacious open plan renovated kitchen with dishwasher, and open plan dining/lounge area and study nook with split system heating and cooling. The rent does not include bills (Elec & Water) – which are pretty reasonable each month. Internet is available for an extra amount per month. I also have Netflix, so am happy for you to use that! Ideally, I am looking at someone staying long term, nothing below 6 months. Someone who is a non-smoker, clean and tidy, not too noisy and respectful of their surroundings. 4 weeks rent is also required in advance, as well as a bond which amounts to be 4 weeks rent. If this all floats your boat, just give me a message :)
You will have the unit to yourself often. So I'm looking for someone mature, responsible and independent, who is competent on their own a lot of the time. Unfurnished bedroom with built in robe. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Single car lock up garage with remote. Detached unit in a lot of 8. Small courtyard. No pets allowed. Reverse cycle aircon and heating. Electricity bill shared depending on usage. The unit is close to PT, and walking distance to the gardens, waterfront and city (for active people)

My hobbies include; - Gym - Sport - Xbox - Beers - Laughs - Procrastinating whilst studying - Tunes - Making mates I am a young male who loves a laugh and a good time. I enjoy a tidy environment but am not neat freak. I feel I get along well with everyone as I am an easy going, polite and respectful bloke. I work at the Edge pub in Geelong and study Civil Engineering at Deakin University. I have a good group of mates, but unfortunately mitigating circumstances have prevented me and another mate from getting a house for an undefined amount of time, and am looking for a group people similar to me to move in with temporarily. Cheers, Mitch
I work full time in childcare, and study teaching part time at Deakin. I like to consider myself as being quite organised and respectful, and i love my own quiet down time but also enjoy a night out and some bevs.

Heya! My names Britt, I'm 24, working full time hours at a cafe on the Bellarine. I'm about to start a sports development diploma at VFA. I've just come back from travelling and working in the US. I'm friendly, easy going, social. I've lived in share houses before and understand the principles of respect like doing your own dishes! Looking to move into a homely place with like minded people for a length of 12 months while I'm studying. I enjoy my own space but also enjoy the company of my roomies.
Hey, I'm Grace - a full time student at Melb Uni and working part time in Geelong. I tend to keep fairly busy but would love a house mate/s who I could chill with in the evenings. I'm easy going and have lived by myself the past two years up in Melbourne (this is the part where you're impressed I can pay rent, cook and clean for myself). Ideally I'd like to start up a house with one or two others, and I've got a fair bit of furniture which I'm happy for everyone to use. I'd dig a place with a garden so I can get a legendary veggie patch going, but happy to compromise :)
Hey I really hate these self describe sections so this will be short and brief. I'm Joiner by trade, which if you have no idea what that is that's cool surprisingly not many do. I'm a clean individual who always pays his bills on time and more than happy to do my fair share of house chores. On the social side big fan of heading out an grabbing a drink at the local pub and chilling not overly keen on the night club scene Well that's me in a snap shot
I'm easy going and very neat. Always happy to help around the house. Music student at oxygen music college so have Monday and Thursday classes. I'm quiet and usually hide in my room. Easy to get along with and love monopoly.
I am Deakin uni (waterfront campus) student, doing masters of architecture. Mostly I am at uni doing my thesis(research). I am hardly finding any time to hang out these days but would love to on some weekends.
I'm Jess, I'm a really relaxed, respectful and easily sociable person. I get along well with new people even if you're shy, I promise I'll make you comfortable in no time. I like to keep reasonably fit by doing weight lifting, walking my dog, or just going down to the beach for a swim and surf. I'm quite a quiet a neat person to live with, I'm not a party animal, love a good chat with the girls and maybe a casual few drinks every now and then, but I'd prefer to save my money for travel rather than go out and get smashed every weekend. I love all animals, but I've grown up with dogs and looking somewhere pet friendly to bring my own puppy in (preferably a Labrador Retriever). I've trained a successful Border Security Customs puppy before, so I promise it will be a well behaved dog. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me and I will get back to you ASAP, I hope to hear from you soon!
Room to rent in Newcomb. $250 a fortnight and includes wifi. Bills will be evenly split and there would be a small bond amount. You would be living with two females in their mid 20s who work full-time. Looking for a reliable housemate, who also works full-time and is quiet, respectful and tidy. Preferably female and a similar age. The room available would fit a queen size bed but has no wardrobe. House is fully furnished besides the bedroom. There is also a dog at the house, but we're not accepting any more pets. Message me if you are interested and we can have a chat! It will also be pending real estate approval.
Hi, I am 54 years old and in Victoria for a few months, possibly longer. My daughter and the grandkids live in Ocean Grove so I need to be near them before returning to Queensland. I am currently unemployed but looking for part-time or casual work as I will be babysitting the kids while my daughter works. I have an elderly, very fat and well behaved, male neutered dog that I would prefer to be allowed inside while I am home. He would go with me when I go out and to my daughters once I get a job so he would never be home without me to supervise him. He is well socialised with other dogs, cows, chooks and ducks. (We live on a working cattle station in QLD) Where we are staying now there is a cat and while his natural instinct is sparked when she moves around, he obeys my commands and ignores her. He is 10 years and moving a lot slower since we came down to the cold from Qld. As am I.... I thank you for the time taken to read my story and hope for a positive response. Kind regards, Angie
Tidy Clean Hygenic Friendly Reliable Honest Originally from colac been around geelong forlast two years couch surfing. But kinda over it n wanting a reliable safe and comfortable place to live. Once again, i am writing a description to lure in anyone who has a room available. I am a full time working, studying, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. So you know, the usual stuff. What has brought me here? a relationship breakdown. So i decided to get a grip on my life and start a diary. Resolution number one: obviously, will lose twenty pounds. Number two: will find nice sensible boyfriend and not continue to form romantic attachments to alcoholics, workaholics, peeping-toms, megalomaniacs, emotional fuckwits or perverts. Any Bridget Jones fans out there? My main selling point would be that i come with Frankie the Border Collie cross Lab puppy, she turned 1 a few months ago and is keen... I would love to write that she speaks 4 languages, packs the dishwasher and makes tea for you in the morning however she isn't quite there yet... She's used to living inside and cuddling to any willing participant. I am obsessed with her, she is obsessed with anyone who will give her attention. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.
Spacious living room. Central heating and cooling. Walking distance to shop. Frequent bus services to Geelong CBD and station. Car space in the garage available. This is a quiet household and we expect housemates to respect this. No noise after 10pm. During the day the noise should be kept at a level that allows us to study. Shoes off inside. Also we live a low carbohydrate lifestyle and so we are not looking for sweet-tooths who will litter our fridge with sugary foods. Room is available furnished or unfurnished. Sharing subject to landlord approval.
The house is located in a quiet street 4 km from Geelong's CBD, 5 minutes walking distance to the Gordon TAFE east campus and just a short walk from a city bound bus stop. The room is clean and bright with BIR's, and the shared kitchen has been updated and offers great cooking facilities. You will need to be neat, tidy, clean and friendly and we prefer female. If successful, you will share with 2 other quiet professional people.
Great central location, a street back from Eastern Beach. The house is old but comfortable. 2 living areas, air conditioning in one, ducted heating throughout. Rooms have built in wardrobes. I have 2 rooms available - one is available now and the other mid May. I don't have a lot of furniture as I've lived pretty minimally the last couple of years but have some basics. Slowly looking to build up but won't happen overnight so there is room to accomodate furniture if you come with some. I can provide a double bed and mattress for one room in Mid May
I'm a volunteer art teacher for U3A Geelong in Grovedale. I sing the Tenor part in three different choirs, and attend mass at Saint Mary's Basilica most Sundays to sing in the choir there. I'm a member of three U3A groups- Poetry appreciation, general discussion, and the U3A choir. I have a 2 yr Diploma and 3 yr degree in Visual Arts(I'm an artist). As a person I'm conscientious, polite, respectful. Born in Australia. I love socialising with friends, but keep to myself too. I have been to France on a student study tour.
Hi all, we have one room avail in a 3 bedroom unit located in Newcomb (close to port rd). $102 pw, bills shared between three. Free Wifi. Ducted heating, off road parking. House is fully furnished besides bedroom. Only a bit over 2 years old. Very close to public transport and two shopping centres. Would be sharing with myself and a female, we're both pretty easy going. Sorry, no pets. PM for more details.
Very conveniently located - the property is about 10 minutes walk from Geelong CBD, and 15 minutes from Deakin University Waterfront Campus, and less than 10 minutes walk from Geelong Hospital. There's 3 large bedrooms in the property, and 2 smaller rooms, which could made in a study or small lounge, or a guest bedroom. House has basics, stove, washing machine and line, etc. Room has some furniture from past roommate - up to you whether you want to keep it or not. The landlord does require you to be added to the lease as co-tenants, and approved by them - I don't think approval is likely to be an problem - hasn't been previously, but just thought you should be aware. Additionally, there is a large backyard which can be used for off-street parking, or other things.

22 year old female seeking new sharehouse. I'm introverted, quiet and do my dishes. I'm looking for a friendly sharehouse with housemates that are respectful and polite. I do not want to join a sharehouse that is noisy. I'd prefer roommates that: - Don't party - Don't have sex at the house - Don't smoke I would also prefer a nice sized room with good lighting and internet. I will want to meet the other tenants before I agree to move in to make sure we are a good fit. Thanks for reading.
