Our home was built by my husband 43 years ago and is 3 levels. As you enter the property off the street (top level), you will walk past a pool, manicured garden, and gazebo. The room for rent in this ad occupies over half of the bottom level, giving you absolute privacy, and includes huge open plan living area, and your own bathroom with shower, WC, and basin. The furnishings include queen size bed, study desk, lounge, and drawer chest with mirror. The kitchen facilities on the middle floor include fridge, basin, and microwave, and is shared by 2 other female flatmates only as my husband and I use the kitchen on the top floor. A car/bike is recommended due to proximity to the closet train station being 3.5km away. On-street parking is available out the front of the property at all times and is never busy. Views are available across the Garigal National Park and to the City. Laundry facilities and clothes line are available to all on the middle floor.
Enjoy the comfort of a North Shore lifestyle located only 15 minutes by car from the Sydney CBD (of course a bit longer in peak hour traffic). Surrounded by state forest, you can escape work to your own leafy hideaway. Cafes in nearby Lindfield, Gordon and St Ives and not too far for a trip to the Northern Beaches. For those who like to shop or go to movies, Chatswood is only 7 minutes away by car and Macquarie Shopping Center is around 10 minutes away. It is easy to get into the city with both Lindfield and Killara train stations and there is a bus directly to Wynyard during peak hours. The room is independent, furnished and located in a beautiful sunny, spacious house with a big backyard and swimming pool. Lots of wardrobe space, plenty of privacy with a large window letting in lots of morning sunlight. Bathroom shared with only one other person. This is a clean, well-maintained home. We are looking for a quiet, tidy, courteous and responsible non-smoker. Professional or student. No pets allowed. You would be sharing the house with 2 other people.
All bills included. We are offering a private bedroom with a shared bathroom. The property is in a peaceful and green neighbourhood and is within walking distance to the train station, local shops, and eateries. Friendly environment, quiet and private.

EDIT: I now have to update all of the below. I may be taking up a full-time job in Chatswood in late 2018 so am browsing for Chatswood places now. I prefer LGBTQ and/or nudist-friendly. I'm a serious hard-worker and it'll be a 9-5 Mon-Fri job that I'll be doing. --- Hello I'm Glen, just turned 30, from the NSW Central Coast. I've been having an interesting life. I grew up in Gosford, then went to London to train full time as a classical musician before burning too brightly and 'burning out' returning to Australia in 2013, then since then I've been a massive hippie and nudist and went traveling around NSW and even lived at a yoga ashram for half a year, where I'm basically on a spiritual journey to both heal things from my past and decide on the sort of life I want to live. One day I want to be a dad and make my own family. I work half-half in music and non-music at present, doing gigs on the violin alongside a stable part-time day-job in Swansea. I love nature, and swimming in the ocean, have good loved friends on the Central Coast, and am very open-minded culturally. By now I'm really respectful about how other housemates may want to live (e.g., I don't have to be nude in front of housemates in order to be happy, a happy house is about everyone in balance), and likewise I'm good at communicating whatever simple boundaries I may need for myself too :). Let's meet and see if we get on or not! I'm full of love and peace... Thank you for reading! Glen
Hi! I'm Evie. I am looking to move down to Sydney at the end of November/early December as I will be starting classes at the University of Sydney in early January. I have lived in a share house in Brisbane for almost a year so I have lots of experience in the etiquette of living with others (i.e. I clean up after myself, respect others space/privacy and do my share of the chores around the house). I am pretty introverted so I do like to keep to myself from time to time, but I am always happy to have a chat and make plans to hang out with my house mates if we're up for it! I am currently working in Brisbane until the end of November so I cannot move until at least the last week, but I am flexible and willing to wait for the right place. Please feel free to send me a message with some details about your listing and I'd be more than happy to organise a time to check it out when I am down in Sydney. Thank you!

Hii, I am 19 years old, quiet, friendly, clean, reliable and always respectful of others. I study online TAFE and work in a cute vitamins shop :)) also vegan. Love going to the beach, getting brunch with friends or just having a nice night in with some movies and snacksss.
Hi, I work full time in Sydney and enjoy a clean space to come back to at the end of the day. Cooking and eating as healthy (as much as I can) is a passion of mine, however chocolate can something end up in the shopping basket. And must say that I do enjoy a drop of wine, mostly red. Weekdays are fairly standard with work and weekends are spent either exploring Sydney or trips away, with the occasional lazy weekend at home. I am looking for acommodation where I can enjoy my own space (room with ensuite) and enjoy being in the company of others, while respecting their personal space, as well. I have a car (Rav 4), so would require a garage with enough space for additional storage of some boxes. Reliable internet is a must, along with air-con/heating. I am currently flexible with move in dates and look forward to hearing from you if your place sounds like I have described above. Cheers
Hi there! I am Bree and I am looking for friendly a housemate(s) to share the new year with. I am working full time, love being fit and active and love dinner parties/games nights! (also flexible with moving dates and happy to look or move in sooner) I am friendly, clean and very tidy anddddd I COOK!! I've lived out of home and in Sydney for almost 3 years now and always pay on time and continue to have a respectful attitude. Feel free to send me a message for an more info or to go for a coffee :D
Looking to move closer to the city as I work full time. Personable, easy going and clean flat mate, up for a bit of banter but appreciates alone time. Avid sports fan and online shopping addict.
Hello! I work full time as a Marketing Manager in Retail and work normal office hours 9-5pm but will often work from home in the evenings. I love to socialise and keep myself busy with finding new restaurants with my boyfriend & friends, going to ceramic art classes and yoga classes. When I'm not out I enjoy some serious downtime of binge watching Netflix series. I am very respectful of other people's space. I am tidy & will always leave common areas clean. Looking for someone who is the same and would also enjoy occasionally chilling out with a movie, cheese platter & bottle of wine!
I'm looking for a place for myself and my five year old son. We are into healthy cooking and natural living. In another word, things at the MBS festival and good food festival are what we like to do. We are very clean, friendly and educated. We are out during the day and come home before dinner. We are quiet most of the them except in the evening my son will have some playful times as he is a cute and cheeky boy. We're looking for a granny flat or studio flat or sharing with others who are also very clean.
Born in Calcutta, India, I'm a 24-year-old international student looking to move in to Sydney. I will be starting my postgraduate course at Macquarie University in February 2019 and I want to move in before that, preferably in January. I'm a quiet individual who likes keeping to himself but is not opposed to the idea of making new friends and having good conversations. I consider myself a neat person, can cook a few decent meals, and respectful of other people's boundaries. If I am not studying, you will probably find me playing games, trying out new food or reading.
Im happy, and social, but I also enjoy my own time.. I don't Smoke or drink, relaxing, going out for coffees, lunches and dinners with family and friends on the weekends. Movies, going to the Ballet. Im exceptionally tidy ,and clean. I love and enjoy my time with my family, which most weekends I shall come home to. I love animals, and have a small dog, who will sadly stay home.
I'm an energetic but easy-going 20-year-old balancing full-time work and study. In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and chilling with my fur-baby (my 2-year-old, extremely cuddly, quiet, toilet trained and well-behaved chihuahua). I'd love to hang out with my flatmates and bond over some good wine and cheese every once in a while, but am also happy doing my own thing. I'm always willing to lend a hand, especially with cleaning and the like. I do drive, but ideally looking for somewhere near-ish public transport. Please shoot me a message if you think I may be a good fit in your home, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
We have Been living with friends and family and also sharing houses for about 6 years. We have awesome references for your consideration. We have a kick ass attitude, and walking steps to become entrepreneurs, love good vibes, awesome atmospheres and also respect people’s solitude space. we can cook, clean and are very tidy. We are moving from the central coast and need furnished rooms.
I am a full time nurse looking for a place to share with 1-2 people, female only. I am easy going, friendly and respectful. I work full time from Mon to Fri so I prefer to have a quiet time at home but always up for a chat (: I am also tidy and non smoker. I'm up for a team up if you have a good place to share too, please message me for more information!
Hi I am working full time at the moment. And, currently living in city. I am a down to earth person, love to read and go for walks. NOT a party person at all, neither I smoke or drink. But I love pets, though I don't have any. Like to spend my weekends away from home during the day mainly going for cliff walks or catching up with friends. Over all I like to be on my own most of the time. :)
I'm easy going, love new experiences and exploring, and meeting people. I'm flexible with entertaining or having a Netflix and chill type of day. I'm from south Africa, with a an engineering profession background. Currently work for KPMG on Barangaroo Avenue. I do enjoy and advocate cleanliness ( hence the preferable bathroom request). I don't mind cooking up a meal for more than just me
