Our amazing heritage house is right in front of the East Perth station and right next door to the NIB Stadium, and a scenic 5min stroll into Beaufort Street. Located on a quiet, vibrant street, free transit zone right outside of our street. We have a large bedroom available with modern air-con and ceiling fan. You’ll be sharing a bathroom. Our huge kitchen and open living space is at the envy of every other home in the city. Some bedroom furnishings come with the room or not depends what you need!
We live in a wonderful location, right near Beaufort Street and opposite a lovely green park. Everything is at your fingertips. There is heating and cooling to the front of the house but not in the actual bedroom, so you will need to leave your door open if you want to heat it up or cool it down. We also have a cat who is an indoors cat. He is very friendly and will cuddle with you whenever you want, but you need to be careful around the front and back doors because he is a bit of an escape artist. Other than that we are a friendly couple, happy to chat or leave you alone. We don't party too much and are generally either working or doing some of our own work from home.

The whole reason I bought and live here is the location! It is literally in the centre of everything. Walking distance - 1 min to the train, 5 min to the river, 5 mins to Northbridge, to the City, to Mt Lawley, it's also in the free transit zone Driving - 10 min to Vic Park and South Perth, 15 min to the airport. There is also a 24 hour gym on the same street Anyway you get the idea:) The flat faces Guy Lane, not the rail on Kensington, so it's nice and quiet. And speaking of quiet, the complex is is very quiet and everyone is pretty chill. The room is unfurnished, but does have built in wardrobe and mirrors. You will have your own bathroom. (Furnished could be done if needed)

Amazing location just 60m off Beaufort street, right in the main section Mount Lawley strip, just near Marys bakery. The house has just been recently renovated and so it’s easy to keep clean. Large room big enough for a queen bed, desk and cupboard. There’s a large backyard with all the lemons and two storage sheds. There’s also an undercover area out the back for having friends over and a front porch for watching the Beaufort street side traffic. It’s social in a chilled way but not a party house. The room also comes with a second mini Harry Potter room which can be a study, art space Etc. Street Parking comes with a permit. Would recommend and available now 👍🏼
Hello, I am looking for a mature and tidy boarder, who loves animals, for my lovely character 3 bedroom x 1 bathroom home in Mount Lawley. The house is very close to East Perth train station, the Swan river and city. Perfectly central in the middle of Maylands, Highgate and East Perth. You will have your own large queen bed room with large wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. I can also provide bed linen if required. The house bills will be included, and it has NBN internet, gas hot water and cooking and ducted air conditioning. It also has a lovely fenced yard, a courtyard and deck out the back and front porch for sunny afternoons. As I will am travelling for 2 months mid Oct-mid Dec you will have most of the house to yourself. The only catch is that I would ask that you look after a 1 x very cute and friendly tabby cat, occasionally let me know how the little brat is doing, and keep the place safe, tidy and generally cared for. Excluding my travel dates, the dates are negotiable however can't provide the room past December. Would consider a couple for the right fit, a specific weekly rate would be negotiated. Note, unfortunately due to lease agreement additional pets aren't permitted. Cheers, Rani.

I have 2 rooms available for rent in a beautiful old character home in Mount Lawley in a fantastic location on a sidestreet off Beaufort Street. The Location: Firstly, it's a short walk to the heart of Beautfort Street and all its shops, cafes and restaurants. The Maylands and East Perth riverfront and also Hyde Park are close by as well - great for walks, runs and picnics. If like me you work in the CBD then the location couldn't be better, as there's a bus stop at the end of the street within 2 minutes walk for buses that leave every 5 minutes heading straight into the city. The 950 bus to UWA also stops there too, and the free transit zone is within 10 minute's walk. And at the other end of the street there's East Perth train station! You can also quite easily walk to the CBD and Northbridge in less than half an hour. The House and the rooms: The house is old, but somehow very easy to keep clean. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen are spacious, bright and airy with high ceilings and polished wood floors. The kitchen has ample storage space and a good working gas stove and oven, and we have an old traditional wood stove as well! The bathroom is a small one, but it does have plenty of storage and a bath/shower combo. Disclaimer: the toilet is separate to the bathroom, in the laundry, which is off the back veranda! The back garden is huge and AMAZING for entertaining! It has a grapevine covered patio with a couch, tables and chairs, a large lawn, a fire ring, plus a big brick fire-oven for cooking pizzas or even making homemade smoked foods. In late summer we have a bounty of grapes and dragonfruit, and in winter the mandarin tree is full of fruit. There is space for a vegetable garden if you're into that, but at the moment I'm not growing anything. The front yard is small and has oldfashioned roses and a veranda where we sometimes sit and watch the world go by. For storage, we have a garage at the side of the house and a wooden shed along the back fence. There's plenty of room for things like bikes, kayaks, boxes of books, or spare furniture. Rent and bills: Rent is paid weekly. Internet is $60/month total, but I'm including that in the cost of rent. Other bills are separate and shared equally. The bond is 4 weeks rent. We have a private lease arranged directly through the landlords who have always treated me well and been easy to deal with. Other stuff: * Happy to rent one of the rooms to a couple! Will probably ask for a bit more rent if that's the case though. * Non-smokers * No pets sorry :-( * There is one off-street parking space and parking permits for on-street parking out the front. * Bedrooms are *unfurnished*, but the rest of the house has all the usual furniture and appliances. If you have any special furniture you feel you can't part with, we may be able to make room or replace some other furniture, but you'd probably need to have a look to know for sure. Room 1 is available from the start of September and Room 2 from mid-September, however this is flexible.
I work in recruitment - always busy but like my quiet times. I'm tidy and independent; can hold a conversation and enjoy the odd meal together with a housemate. Not a party person but the odd glass of wine over a meal goes down a treat. Originally from NZ. Our lease is up shortly and need to move on. Looking for easy going, friendly and professional people to share with or self contained ok as well. The key for me is peace and quiet. Currently have rowdy boys next door who like to splash around in their spa pool to all hours of the morning and whilst their conversations are hilarious ... I don't get any sleep.
My 3 month probation ends on the last day of October 2018, and I am looking for my own place to call home, if everything turns out well. I work full time, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day in the Perth CBD. I have a car, but I travel by public transport too and from work, so I will require a car garage/ parking space where I move into. For fun, before work, I go the the gym 4 days a week for cardio/strength/resistant training. On the weekends I like to go for a combination of short (<10km) and long (>10km) runs. I am building up for a half marothon (I am at 18km so far without stopping). I am a morning person, so I wake as early as 4.30am (I mostly wake between 5am and 6.30am), and sleep as late as 9pm most nights (depending on my body clock and how tired I am from a long day at work). On most work nights I can be in bed as early as 8pm.
We are a two bubbly, happy, tidy people who are always keen to make new friends. We've recently moved back to Australia for Noel to apply for her partnership visa (shes from California) and for me (from Australia) to start my studies at Curtin University. We are both working in Hospitality and looking forward to finding work in a more professional sector soon. We just got back from a few years of traveling so we are very used to shared living environments. We enjoy chatting over a few drinks but also understand the need for personal space. While we don't have any pets of our own we are guaranteed to fall in love with anyone elses. Noel likes: Hiking, beaching, sailing, reading, and crocheting wicked beanies Trent likes: Hiking, beaching, sailing, drinking, rock climbing and computer games
I am a clean guy, love cooking, unselfish, love to involve myself with people and understand house roles. Have own lounge, TV and bedroom furniture. I am not working due to work issues but still have full time job and payments. Return to work after Christmas. I'm punctual with bills and good budget guy. Love dogs. I work as a van driver on afternoon shift (11am - 8pmish). Some Sundays too. I skateboard and tell awesome dad jokes. I don't smoke or drugs, like to drink casually. I am a well mannered gentleman. I don't touch others belongings unless authorised.
Pros - Is a chef therefore foods a plenty - Has a vinyl player - Vintage clothes collector - Cleaner than a nunnery - A good hospo scene of humour - Flowerpot man (Gardener AF) - Enjoys a good drink - Wannabe DnD player Cons - In the kitchen at obscene hours of the night - Forever sleeping on days off - One of those grandma types that makes a shit ton of food than necessary
Looking to live somewhere central/ north of the river. Close to transport (preferably Joondalup line)/ cool things. I work full time doing research at a hospital. I do plan to go back to school (eventually) to do some post grad psyc related study. I’m very mellow. I enjoy my own time but appreciate company. Open for a night full of wine and gin. I’m veg and cook now and again (not amazing). I would say I’m fairly eco conscious. Funnily enough I actually enjoy cleaning.
I’m 24, SINGLE lol and Australian. Budget ~ $150/pw (bills included). Preferably SOR around Melville or Cockburn Central. Areas like Rivervale, Cloverdale and surrounds are also suitable. 🚗 I’m respectful, cooperative, communicative and a highly creative soul. Macaroni necklaces for all! 📿 Also, yes I do smoke cigs and my black cat Jinx might be a tag-along too. Lastly, I make a mean stir-fry, cleaning is therapeutic to me and I get off on hanging up laundry. 💫 Personal message me if suited. 📲 Much love, Thursday Adams xx
