Hey guys, I am looking for someone to take my 2nd bedroom. You will be sharing myself, a 30 year old Occupational Therapy lecturer, and my two very chilled out dogs. I also work in private practice and am studying part time, so am very busy but also love to have a glass of wine or two with my housemate and watch Netflix! Or the local pub around the corner! Ideally I am looking for someone who has their own thing going, working full time but also like to have a laugh. Location wise, you can't beat our spot in Richmond. Off street parking and a permit can be provided. The house is a renovated town house with heaps of space, aircon, BBQ courtyard, huge tv with Netflix, 8 seater dining table and island bench, high ceilings and really friendly neighbours. Hi everyone! We're looking to have someone take over our lease for our two bedroom apartment in Richmond from early October. The lease has about six months remaining. It's bright with high ceilings, lots of storage place and backs onto a lovely, well kept garden. It's an easy walk to the Melbourne Cricket Grounds. There are buses, trams and train stations all within a five to eight minute walk, and with one of the train stations only a single stop from Flinders or Parliament. The master bedroom easily fits a queen size bed, and the second bedroom a double. There is incredible storage space in the deep closets, the separate laundry, and the utility closet in the bathroom. The apartment tends to stay at a pretty moderate temperature, so it's inexpensive to heat or cool. There is a split system in the living area though for extreme days. There is fabulous retro tile in the kitchen and bathroom, and there were new carpets put in six months ago. There were updates to the light fixtures and fresh paint done at the same time.

I possess the following desirable characteristics: - top banter - quality furniture - very independent, self sufficient and respectful. - love my sport, long suffering bombers fan. - down for drinks and Netflix - Thinking about getting a British short haired cat....let me know if it’s a deal breaker. Bruno would be it’s name. Hit me up if you want to chill and suss me out! 🙋🏼♂️
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
I'm a considerate housemate who likes to live in a clean and positive environment. I'd love to live with housemates who like to socialise but also appreciate some good old 'me-time'. I've moved to Melbourne to live a more creative life but still work part-time in an office. Ideally I'll be looking for a furnished room but am flexible. I'm vegan and would love to live with others who share the same way of life. I'm into yoga and boxing (like boxercise but with all the good technique ;) and love being surrounded by creative people so I can soak up all those good vibes and be more creative myself. My husband works away permanently so would love to live with kind, considerate people and pets :) He would probs want to crash with me when he comes to visit every other month for an extended weekend.
I've travelled, lived and worked around the world so am used to sharing homes (that's right, homes - not houses). Originally from Europe, I've been calling MelbsTown home since Jan 2017. I love music and "doing things" in this great city - I will tell you about cool events before "Time Out" does. I'm often out and about working, meeting friends, volunteering, exploring, travelling and looking for the next adventure, but I like having a quiet down time at home sometimes as well. In my life I've worked as a flight attendant, teacher, event manager, waitress, interpreter and exhibitor. Oh, and I speak four languages so will give you classes if you're up for it :) I have a good sense of humour but am a terrible cook (sorry!). I'm house-trained and respectful of other people's space - you know, we're all adults when we need to :) I don't have a car so I won't need a parking place. If there's anything else you'd like to know, ask away :)
I am an art teacher who loves music, art, cooking, reading. I appreciate honest, clear communication. I have a lot of experience with share housing and understand the balance necessary between sharing together and privacy. I am clean and respectful of others. I prefer to live with females.
I moved interstate almost a year ago and have been experiencing Melbourne ever since. I’m a full time bartender, and work some days also so I’m not home a lot but when I am, I like to cook, binge Netflix, or play with my cat. I go to music festivals, hang out with friends and explore new places and travel. I’m fairly laid back and clean. I have a year old cat who is so tiny and very cuddly. Ideally looking to start a new sharehouse in these areas with some cool people and have our own little thing going on but open to moving in somewhere if it’s suited. Move in date is flexible.
I'm an easy going person. Always open for a chat, neat and likes to cook. I finished my bachelor in psychology. Last year I traveled already for 8 months and I decided to come to Australia with a work holiday visa. I still want to improve my English and get to know the culture and lifestyle better.
I'm Tim, work in the media, love my sport, music and fitness. Very easy going, work hard during the week, relax during the weekend with a sneaky pint or two. I'm looking for housemates that are similar. Not sure what else to say, but please get in contact.
Hi I am Shreyasi, 31, Indian. I am an e-comm stylist and will be working full time. I am moving to Melbourne early September and looking for a flat share near South Yarra/ Richmond/ Caulfield stations as I would be taking the train to commute. I am friendly, easy going and tidy and love to have a good laugh. I respect people's privacy but would also enjoy a drink or a meal and a chat once in a while. I have lived in Melbourne for a couple of months last year and fell in love with the city, its art & culture and its coffee. Some of my interests include art, movies, fashion, stand up comedy and pub hopping. I am looking for a place for at least 6 months, and if all goes well even longer. :)
We are coming from Turkey planning to live and work in Melbourne for a year. Most of the time we will be outside working or entertaining the city, so we need a place to stay that preferably is not so far away from the city center.
Hi I’m Mel! I’m a professional working full time in the city. I’m looking for somewhere nice and close to the city. I’m very neat and tidy and respectful of other people. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places but also enjoy a quiet night in. I can be found baking, outdoors or hanging out at the gym in my spare time. I’m reliable and easy going and enjoy being around other people. I am looking for a private room somewhere near the city and close to a train line. I’m looking for fellow housemates that are clean and tidy and know how to clean up after themselves. I would prefer a quiet and respectful housemate that isn’t up at all hours of the night making loud noises. Always up for brunch or a wine and cheese night with my fellow housemates let’s not be strangers! (Please note that I am not a drug person and would best suit a drug-free household) If you think I would suit your household please message me :)
Originally from Ballarat now working in the CBD I’m the energy space, recently graduated with a Masters of Energy systems from Melbourne Uni. I love gaming and chilling on the couch watching movies on weekends . Also quite the coffee snob and bruncher on the weekends. I also Love chatting/debating politics and good philosophical discussions. I Always clean up after myself, defs not a party type or looking for a party house. Im quite introverted but I try and go out of my way to surround myself with extroverts who bring out the best in me. Very into health and fitness hitting the gym most days. Looking for flatmates who can be friends who lead independent lives outside the place too, bonus If you love watching Old Simpsons and Seinfeld episodes with or the newest fad on Netflix and open to getting a house cat at some point down the track. Cheers
Hey, I’m moving to Melbourne for a change been living in Queenstown New Zealand for the past 2 years. Really easy going and always up for a good time 😁 I’m very clean and tidy also an amazing cook
Hey I'm Brodie! I'm a friendly and easy going Canadian gal who has been living in Melbourne since January! I’m looking for a comfy place to call home, and a roommate who feels the same way! Right now I’m working full time in fashion design and really loving it so far! On weekdays I like to keep it pretty low key, make dinner, watch some Netflix, and maybe share some wine with my housemates! I love socializing, so on weekends I’m rarely in the house, either away on a road trip, out for brunch, wandering around the city or having drinks and a boogie with my friends. I am really clean, honest and trustworthy, and would love a roommate to have the occasional dinner/ glass of wine (or 3) / bbq/ Netflix binge with. I want us to get along and be friendly but I am also respectful of personal space and needing down time. I've been living in share houses for the past 4 years so I know the recipe for a happy home :) Would prefer an apt with the main areas furnished, but I have stuff to furnish my own room. Also would be ideal if we could motivate each other to work out once in a while... or not. Drop me a line and lets make this house a home!! 😊
