The house is brand new and fully decked out with tasteful furniture, art, statues and plants. There is a large main living room with surround sound, laundry with washing machine, each room has its own split system for heating/cooling, front garden with herb garden and pot bellied stove for winter fires or summer cooking, large upstairs balcony / entertaining area adjoining your room (from which you can see the ocean: the sunsets are awesome!), and a large kitchen with stone bench tops and brand new appliances. The room itself is 2x5m roughly and I'm happy to give you some plants if you'd like them in your room to spruce it up. The rent includes bills and internet. The house is always kept immaculate and it's right across the road from edithvale beach. It's a lovely space :)
My name is Rez 32yo and I work as an Estimator in the steel company. I've been living in Melbourne since June 2013. I really enjoy my fitness and live quite an active lifestyle with gym 5 times and Futsal 4 times a week - playing competitively. :) When I'm home I hardly ever make any noise and prefer to listen to music and watch movie in headphones. In fact if I'm in the kitchen at night while others are in their room I try to be quiet like a ninja, it's important to me to not disturb anybody. I work a lot and find myself not home too much during the week. I usually meet my friends on the bars or stadium to watch a footy game over weekend and spending time with my girlfriend (She is overseas and will be in Melbourne on November). I will start my new job at Dandenong South on February. And I'm currently living in Hadfiled and its more than an hour drive to my job. So I kinda need to move ASAP to somewhere closer to my job. Looking for a place to call it home. That would be great if the new place/room has: 1. Cat or dog (I don't have one but I would love to see them around) 2. Sea sight (or near beach) 3. Size of room minimum 3x4 FB.com/reza.kaboodan
Hey all, my partner and I are looking for a room within a cozy and friendly house/community. I am an American working part time and my partner is Australian who works full time in Outdoor Education. We are looking to move into a room in a house with like minded people who are also interested in outdoor activities, occasional shared meals, and board game nights. We are looking for our own bathroom or shared with just one other person. We are non smokers who like to keep a clean place and use a rotating cleaning system if needed (to avoid someone always cleaning for the others). Lastly, we have a slow growing collection of records and a great sound system!
I work full time in the CBD so I’d prefer to live close to public transport and a train line. I love to play netball, listening to music, being outdoors and keeping active. I love to talk to anyone and am very sociable but also respect privacy and personal space. I am a super clean person and take responsibilities with others seriously. I appreciate fairness within a household and am very kind and respectful.
Hi everyone! Our house is a very homey, respectful and tidy environment. We live 2min walking distance from the beach and train station. The closest shops and restaurants are in Mordialloc. We offer Netflix, Stan and the usual facilities such as a washing machine. Bills are not included in rent but are split evenly. We are three full time workers between 22 to 28, who all like their privacy but are always up for a chat or a movie. Feel free to contact us! Please note: Police check is required! Also we got heating and air conditioning :)
Hi all! My name is Paige and I'm hoping to find somewhere to call my home within the next week. I work part-time (full time hours) at a horse trail riding company on the Mornington Peninsula. I am also a full-time student at Deakin University- studying Wildlife and Conservation Biology. I have been living out of home for 6 years and have always been in my own rentals. I am incredibly clean, respectful, quiet but bubbly and am incredibly easy to live with. For fun I love to go camping, love to read and write and go on hikes with my two furbabies. I have two dogs that mean the world to me- Charlie & Bella. They are the worst kindest, tiniest, quiet and most gorgeous, playful chihauhas in the universe. They're great with children, babies and everyone else! They're totally toilet trained and always just want as many cuddles as they can get. We were hoping to find somewhere that is either a studio or granny flat (with a secure backyard), or somewhere that has a separate entrance or entry directly into the backyard. I'm very open to other ideas on how we could make it all work. When we meet, I'll bring the little doggos along so you can fall in love with them as well!
I am a loyal and trustworthy person, I pay my bills on time and I am a very clean person. I have the ability to get a long with people of all ages, I’m a talkative person but I also like my own space and I can respect others privacy too. I work full time in childcare at the moment, I am 25 years old and I love to travel. I have spent quite a bit of my time over the last 5 years traveling overseas having spent 1 year living in Ireland too. I love meeting new people, chilling out and I do love to stay active too. I’m looking for somewhere to rent between Frankston and up to the Highett area, my budget is about $250 pw (bills included) but happy to pay a bit more for the right place. I am pretty flexible with most things, I do have my own furniture I can bring and am happy to share a bathroom etc. I hope to hear from you. :)
Tidy, self-sufficient, quiet human. Healthy. Not interested in alcohol dependency/abuse or binge drinking/party houses, but enjoy laughs and cool with jams, games, moderate beverages - including tea & fizzy pro-biotic drinks!! Project coordinator as employment, music, gardening. Would like to do own food/cooking and only share if it is the weekend or there is some decent agreement around cooking/sharing. I want to be free to retreat to my own space when I choose and will respect anyone needing space or non-conversation at any time necessary, up for yarns, but not social expectations and bombardment of personal space. Basically trying to be directive, healthy and advance as a human. Looking for snazzy yet chill peeps who are comfortable in themselves and hopefully like going on missions sometimes.
G’day, my name is Chris. I work 8-5 in South Melbourne, so I’m looking to move closer than where I currently am to break the trip up a bit. I enjoy a drink after work or just a chat, so ideally a place where people like to socialise would suit me, but happy to have alone time too. Up for Team Ups too. :)
Disability carer to my mother which we live together, we are vegetarian, we meditate, we do not smoke and do not drink alcohol. Would love it if you have seperate entry and or bungalow.
1min - walking distance to public transport (train, bus) 2min - Walking distance to the beach, shops, cafes. The house's living and kitchen space are open plan which is great for socialising after work or relaxing on the weekend. The house is fully furnished and assistance with furnishing your room is no problem at all. There is a study space downstairs with a laundry next door that leads into a relaxing courtyard outback with a tropical feel. The garage has been half converted into another living space with cinema chairs and a projector. The spare room is north facing so gets plenty of sun all year round, it also has a built in robe for storage of your clothing. It opens into the living space with an adjacent shared bathroom.
Kiwi girl , been in Melbourne 4 years. Feels like it’s time to leave my current living situation so looking for somewhere different. Would prefer to live by myself or with one other but if the right people come along I’m happy to live with more . I dress like a girly girl and act like one of the boys . I enjoy having a laugh and enjoy a quiet night in as much as I enjoy a night out doing something. Im a mechanic so any thing cars and I’m happy. I also enjoy cooking and am reasonably tidy . Not fussed on male or female but I’d prefer tylive with someone round about the same age group with similar interests 😊😊
Hey! I’m Lauren, I work in marketing and am looking for a place for 5 months (possibly longer). I am a non smoker and not a party animal, happy to share roommate movie nights etc but also totally cool to keep to myself! Clean, respectful and mature. Let me know if you require any additional info. Cheers!
I'm Brazilian and I moved to Melbourne to study Business international. I'm prompt with bills, organized, clean, easy going, sometimes I like to cook and I like to go to the gym. I'm looking for a place near my job, which is in Mordialloc.
I'm a primary school music teacher by day and a gigging blues musician by night, but when I'm alone I'm a pretty quiet person and keep out of peoples way. Definitely love a good conversation and am always up for socialising! The best way I can describe myself is very easy going and respectful, independent, not a neat freak but can maintain a clean place, punctual and creative minded. My idea of fun is obviously playing my guitars and going out to gigs, but I also love a good quiet night in just relaxing, whether alone or with friends and playing my video games. Currently living in St Kilda on my own in a tiny apartment which is alright, but possibly looking to move somewhere a bit more open, tame and quiet. Plus would love some more space! It'd be cool to find people who don't mind me practicing during the day for an hour or two. Obviously I try to practice when no one is around. I think I've mentioned most of what I'm about, but any questions you have just ask away :)
organised and tidy, happy to help out with house work and gardening, easy going and have a kind fun nature. Very respectful of others and their space and am handy around the house. Work fulltime for the city of Glen Eira, moved to Australia 6 years ago from NZ. Enjoy the outdoors camping, fishing, beach and wildlife.
Laarni here - I work in the fitness industry. I leave for work a few early mornings on weekdays and weekends, and out most of the day. Some nights during the week, I do stay at my partner's place as well. I really enjoy being outdoors most often, for adventure, as well as travelling and checking out new places to eat. Good chats or a catch ups (even over coffee, drinks or for a meal) with potential housemate/s is always a bonus, but do enjoy my me time as well. I'm extremely tidy and respectful of people's time and space. Currently in Chelsea, but looking for somewhere in Edithvale, Aspendale, Mordialloc, Parkdale & Mentone (and perhaps surrounding spots).
Hey my name is Kelly. I'm a full time worker in health care. In my spare time I like to catch up with friends, play sport, cook or just chill at home quietly with a glass of wine and a movie. I also respect people and their space/ privacy. I'd like to think I'm a very easy going person and could make an excellent flatmate. If you have any questions about or for me please message me I'll be happy to answer them all honestly.
Hello! My name is Ciara and I was born and raised in Alaska. I will be moving to Melbourne on March 4th with my boyfriend Sam (two years) who is from there. We are looking for a place for one year as he will be finishing his last year at Deakin and I am on a work and travel visa. In the summer, we like to hike and camp. Sam plays tennis and coaches. In the winter, we like to ice skate and snowboard. We enjoy drinking, cooking, and just hanging out. I like photography. Sam is 21 years old and I am 23. Sam has a car and will need a parking spot. I do not have a car so it would be nice to be close to public transportation. I would like a full kitchen with a dishwasher. We love dogs and can care for them. We are looking to pay $150-200 each or $300-400 for both of us per week.
