I like to cook for the household so maybe could arrange one or two night a week where that can happen. The house hold will need to be okay with my little 5kg Tibetan spaniel. He is fully house trained and very chilled out so when i am home you won't even know he is there unless he is doing his zoomies for the day 😂 He would stay at the house while I'm at work in the Perth area. However, my job also takes me frequently travelling up to the top of WA (basically FIFO lifestyle) so when I am away my furbaby will go to my family-friend until I am home again. This ranges anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks.
