I am a beauty therapist at Endota Spa, Brighton beach. I am looking for a place that is close to work.. I prefer something that is long-term. MY TYPICAL WEEK After a long day at work, I usually get take-out or make dinner and watch tv/movies in my room. On my days off I’m usually hanging out with girlfriends, heading out on weekends or just at the shops. I have every tuesdays and Sunday’s off. I work some late nights on thursdays. I respect other people’s personal space so I don’t need to disturb anyone unless I need help with something like lifting heavy objects etc. 😊
Heya! In need of a new place as I will be moving to Melbourne for a full time job as a youth worker! I love keeping fit, doing gym classes, yoga and going for walks with friends. I'm keen to explore Melbourne's food, and don't mind a drink or two, but also enjoy a cup of tea at home ( I come with a large tea collection). Have lived out of home before back home and have studied In Melbourne for uni in the past too. I'm a thoughtful and considerate housemate who does fair share of cleaning, chipping in for house stuff, and cooking! Looking for a nice room in a house, preferably with a built in robe. Also don't mind sharing with any fur babies :) Looking to share with females or a mix or females and males.
I'm easy-going, clean, organised and charismatic! I love to read, and, generally speaking, I get along with everyone. I study Arts at Monash University with hopes of getting into an honours program, and for fun, I love watching TV, catching up with friends and going to the beach. Would prefer it if the utilities are included in the rent.
I am looking for a place that is comfortable, not too rowdy and is flexible as to how long I stay (could be 1 month to 1 year depending on other factors). I work part time, self employed as consultant and writer and also study and do research. Respectful, mature, enjoy good conversation and meeting different people.
Hello everyone. I am 26 and originally from New Zealand. I have been in Melbourne for around 8 months and am currently looking for new accomodation. I am musical, crafty and pretty realaxed in general. I play in a band which gigs around Melbourne quite often so am usually doing that one or two nights a week - I don't do practise at home so no need to worry about noise. There is a chance I may have a cat with me, but am not 100% whether she will be coming with me yet so that would need to be considered. She is 11 and fully house trained and loaded with personality. Feel free to ask me any questions or contact me to arrange a viewing. I am looking to find a place in the next week or two. Cheers Brendon
I am a full time Occupational Therapist. I enjoy fitness, meeting cool new people and just having a good time really. I'm a clean and private person but also enjoy a chat here and there if I'm not dead after work. Keen to move in with some cool people and have that nice environment to come home to.
I'm a very chill housemate, tidy and respectful of other people's spaces. I like to socialise and have drinks/watch movies and whatnot with my housemates but I will also spend a bit of time in my room painting and drawing. I'm vegetarian and like to cook a bit, am also great at taking care of the dishes. I have a cat who is very loving and energetic, loves cuddles and being played with so I'd be happy to share his attention with others.
Lived and shared houses for many years. Easy going, clean and respectful. Would like a place to call home and a housemate that would like to be a friend as well as doing their own thing.
Hello, I am Felipe and I am doing my Master's degree at Victoria University. I am currently looking for a place to be closer to work and uni. I work in hospitality, so I keep busy with uni and work. When I am at home, I am a very tidy, respectful, clean guy who loves to enjoy his free time, resting, watching tv. I also like to socialize when I have time, I enjoy playing board games, video games, going out for a coffee/drink or even planning to go to events. Ideally, looking in the area of Ripponlea - Elwood - balaclava - Elsternwick, I'm also opened to other suburbs as long as they are near to public transport. Feel free to shoot me a message if you need further questions. Looking forward to being your new housemate!
I'm pretty chilled out, very clean, and I love cooking/baking. I'm aiming to work full time during the week, and spend the rest of my time at the beach so I won't be hanging around the house too often. I play the guitar and love music, but I'm definitely not going to be keeping you awake with it! I'm looking for somewhere semi long term (4-6 months) initially, but I would love to stay longer if I can find the right job!
My partner and I are great to live with as we are very chilled out, we don't mind going out for a drink or a night on the town once every blue moon but we love to go out and have a nice dinner then come home and relax and enjoy one another's company as well as others, we love playing board games and we also love cats and dogs, we have 1 baby kitten who is very well behaved and well trained, we are looking to move as we live too far from my work in south Melbourne at the moment and my partner would also like to get a job in the city, thank you for taking your time to read about us we hope we are the right candidate for you, Kind regards Aaron and Brittany. (We are looking to move out soon within the next month or so)
Single 28 yr old non smoking female, no pets or kids. Quiet, clean, easy to get along with, respectful of other peoples property and privacy. Working full time Monday to Friday as a Pharmacy Assistant. Like to have a social wine with friends/housemates, will happily socialise with those I live but also will respect when privacy is needed. Not a party animal. My kind of party is a 3 hour nap and some retail therapy. Any other questions please feel to ask. I am wanting to move now as I moved from Tasmania 6 weeks ago and only temp boarding. I am looking for a private room, don't mind sharing a bathroom and it needs to be furnished (as I only moved here with no furniture)
I'm Dani :-) I'm 27 and looking for a place for 2 months preferably from Mid May - July. Seeking temporary accommodation whilst I settle back into Melbourne after living interstate to be with family for the past 4 months. I love music, red wine and most of all- I am really keen to meet new people and love a good social occasion. I have no other prerequisites other than a furnished room and internet! **PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE IN MELB TO HOPEFULLY INSPECT AND LOCK IN A PLACE NEXT WEEKEND ON 28-29TH APRIL. I am also flexible with move in dates so please don't hesitate to contact Me!
Great three story townhouse set off the street behind a security entrance, you honestly wouldn’t even know it was here. 100 meters from the train station, trams out the front and buses around the corner. Close to great restaurants, bars, some of the best ice cream in Melbourne and a great cinema. Comes with excellent neighbors as well!
Clean and organised, work full time so will only be around at nights and will spend most my weekends probably with the boys so wont be in your hair too much. Also a pretty good bloke dont mind a few beers and the footy. Can pay bond money and the first few weeks rent forward too if that helps. Thanks :) Have been living with two girls in Windsor but am looking to move on to a new place because lease is up.
Hi, I work as a senior engineer, mainly in manufacturing - its a mon-fri job. New to Melbourne, Just moved form NZ Pay bills on time, don't mind pitching in to keep the place tidy.\ or with new furniture. Usually Netflixing or podcasting during the weekdays. Weekends are fairly random with friends/family/binge watching highly acclaimed series. likes: Homeland, the wire, rick & morty, conspiracy theories Tofu, Szechuan dipping sauce, Korean BBQ, Irish whiskey settlers of catan Dislikes: reality shows, drying off with a damp towel, people who pull their dog away from you while you're out walking - like let me pet your dog.
Unfortunately my beautiful best friends are selling the house i've currently lived in for the past 5 years, so its time to find a new place to call home! Im currently a nanny and working part-time in retail - (whilst applying for graduate positions, so will hopefully have something locked in by mid year). I love anything wine, cheese or a new food destination. Not really one for bio's so if you have any questions please message me! x
I have and outgoing personality and easily socialize with all sorts of people. As a full time hospitality professional I mainly work nights and need my time at home more for relaxation than partying. Also like to spend my free time with playing the guitar and recording new song ideas. So other musicians are very welcome. I'm a very good cook and enjoy an occasional dinner with friends. It's just such a rewarding feeling to put a smile on people's faces with a yummy meal. YOU could be one of them.
I'll be moving back to Melbourne in July in order to start my Master's degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). I was in Melbourne for 4 months as part of a working holiday and fell in love with the city, I'm back home in the States for now but can't wait to come back. I've lived in shared flats/houses several times, all through university and as part of my working holiday where I was an au pair and lived with two different families. When not in class or at work, I like running or biking, as well as curling up with a good book or going out for a few drinks.
Hi there! My name is Mallory and I'm from the U.S. I hope to find a home, rather than a house to live in. I would very much like to make friends with the people I'm living with. I certainly value privacy but I would also enjoy communal dinners every once in a while, going to a pub, playing board games, exploring the city, or Netflix binging. I enjoy being social but I'm also introverted, so I definitely need my alone time to recharge as well. I don't mind a bit of clutter but I do mind dirt, so I usually like to keep my home pretty clean. I am looking for housemates with similar values and interests. :) Also, I'm looking for a private, furnished room. And if you have a cat(s), you get bonus points!
Hey guys! Tl;dr - it's hard to rent on my own! Let's team up and make it easier! Hoping this is worth a shot! I'm looking for someone to team up with to secure a lease. I work in Ormond and am happy to live in any direction within 20-30 minutes of there, so I'm not super fussy on location, but I'm looking at houses around $350-400 p/w and I'm more than happy to pay good rent for a nice, clean place. I am definitely looking for somewhere with a decent back yard so I can make a safe little enclosure for my kitty. A little bit about me: I'm 22 years old. I've lived out of home and have been renting since I was 18 and I am very independent. I'm employed full time as a professional tattoo artist. I love my job and I'm always working. When I'm not working I like to chill out, draw, relax, and hang out with my cat. Despite my youth, I'm a strict non drinker or smoker. I don't mind what others do, but I definitely could not live in a social party house. I'm a pretty introverted person, so I don't mind having a chat/dinner/ watching a movie with housemates, but I'm very respectful of personal space. I have a house worth of furniture to bring with me and a charming fluffy cat. His name is Lil' Max and he is a delight. I'm currently in the process of applying for houses in the eastern suburbs, but I'm not having much luck as a single applicant, despite being financially equipped to afford the rent. Perhaps it's my age, or job, or face. Who knows. Maybe realtors are more scared of me than I am of them, but I doubt it. If you're also looking for a happy, comfortable home in the eastern suburbs, feel free to swing me a message and we can organise a time to meet up. (p.s vegan/vegetarian encouraged!) Picture of me and my pretty boy.
I am Matheus, 30 years old. I am open minded, friendly, clean and tidy! I graduated in medicine in Brazil and I used to work as a family doctor. Now, I am planning to do a masters degree here in mental health/ philosophy/ anthropology. I am also interested in exercise, nature, travelling, human connections and spirituality. I am a gay man, so I am looking for an LGBT friendly place to stay =)
I have just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for work. I’m a mature lady looking for a quiet place to stay until mid Nov18. I work in East Melbourne so I am looking for something that makes it a bit easier to get to work using public transport as at the moment I am traveling from Endeavour Hills. I am a non-smoker, love peace and quiet, definitely not a party animal. I am looking for the same in a flat mate. :) I am 47, British born although I lived in South Africa for 26 years and in Australia now for 18 years. I have a good sense of humour and like cooking and cleaning. :)
Hey All, Ive got a lovely room in a 2 bed apartment on Glenhuntly Rd a few minutes walk from the shops of Elsternwick. Close to public transport, with a tram stop for route 67 right out the front door and a five minute walk to the Elsternwick train station. Its an older building so the fittings aren't super flash but nice big rooms with lots on natural light. Bathroom has a shower and a tub as well as room for a washing machine. Rest of the apartment is furnished but your room is not. About you: Neat and tidy, non-smoker, preferably male, ability to provide references and reliable and respectful. Room is $800 a month, bills not included (usually about $75 a month) but free unlimited wifi.
