Your digs: * Master bedroom for a couple or a bougie single. Ensuite, full length mirrored built-in robes, and a cosy little study/work nook or extra space to put your cool things. A/C also. * Unfurnished, so you can make it all yours! The House: * Sweet location in Elsternwick, pretty much door-front access to the 67 Tram and 700m walk to Elsternwick Station. Also right off Glen Huntly road which is packed with restaurants and a handful of cracking bars. * Big modern kitchen and living space with fridge, gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher and plenty of space to create a masterpiece on the bench. * Kitchen and dining area both have good eyelines to the TV so you can watch the footy from pretty much anywhere in the house. * Sweet courtyard space, perfect for arvo bevs, a cheeky BBQ and other activities. Garden bed also a rad little addition for any budding green thumbs. * Parking - underground with a storage cage for all your thangs. Me: * I’m a 24 year-old (expat?) from Queensland. I’m pretty social and like heading out for food/drinks/gigs with mates on the weekend. My weekdays are usually quieter, I work in construction so I’ve got fairly early starts and am usually not home ‘till later. I like to keep pretty fit, and play a mean game of social netball (average at best) but also thoroughly enjoy donuts so am best of both worlds. You: * I’d love to live with someone who is down for a good yarn every now and then and wants to make the space fun, warm and homey. * Extra points for anyone with solid Netflix recommends (I’ve actually resorted to watching trash at the moment) and those that will lie to me and tell me my cooking looks tasty. Keen to be able to catch up about the day over a beer/wine but also be comfortable to do our own things. Nitty Gritty: * Lease transfer so must be willing to go on the lease * Rent: $290 p/w * Bills: average $200 between 2/3 peeps (water/electricity - we don’t pay for gas!) * Bond: 4 weeks rent. * Lease: until October 2019, with option to extend. Shoot us a message if you’re interested!
Matt - I'm a Plumber that grew up in country Victoria and moved to the South Coast of NSW. I have decided to move back to Vic for better working opportunities. My interests include - photography, road trips, camping and finding new cafe's/restaurants to eat at. I also enjoy hanging out at home watching the AFL, NBA or Netflix. I'm a pretty laid-back guy who likes to have a laugh. Ben - I'm a Mechanical fitter that is studying engineering full time at Swinburne university of Technology. Like Matt I have also grown up in country Victoria. Some things I like to enjoy in my spare time include camping, surfing, travelling and most things that involve being outside. I also don't mind the occasional movie at home or some Xbox. I'm easy going, tidy and respectful of others and am always keen on trying new things. We are also interested in moving into a house with someone that is looking for two housemates. * $360 per week is our preferred combined rent.

Welcome! I'm Charlotte, aspiring/future student to do my bachelor of arts. I'm moving new to the area due to needing change and more work opportunities. I am a very easy going person, friendly and quirky. I enjoy the outdoors, going cycling, walks, yoga or pilates. I have an creative side too, I enjoy photography, editing and painting. Being new to the area, I'm hoping to gain new connections with possible friendships with the new housemates I end up living with. At the same time I do respect your privacy and quiet time, very clean and respectful and always clean up after myself. If you've read up to this - I appreciate you! I hope to meet you soon!
The location is amazing! All the benefits of living in Elsternwick; the shops, great coffee, restaurants, cinema, some bars and a 24 hour McDonalds if that's your thing. And it's only a 5 minute walk to the train station plus the tram stop is at the end of the street. Furthermore, the house is located right near the boarder of Elwood which means we're close to the golf course, tennis courts, park and also the beach. The house itself is a charming lightly renovated Victorian. The street is quiet but also really close to the 'action'. The available bedroom is huge. It currently has 2 single beds - I am willing to exchange these for a double/queen for the right house mate. It also has two small desks, 2 bedside lamps and a wardrobe. It also has a split system; air conditioning and heating with a remote. The living room has 2 sofas, a 32 inch TV, plus a DVD player and a old stereo (which gives good low-mid level sound). There is also a split system in this room too. We have 1.5 bathrooms. One bathroom contains a large shower, toilet and basin. The other has a toilet. The kitchen has a large Bosch double door fridge to share plus a table that seats at least 4. There is also a laundry with a Bosch front loader and internal hanging space. There is also a proper traditional Aussie Hills clothes line out the back. Throughout the house, there are some lovely prints on the wall that assist in creating and maintaining the relaxed vibe.
I am a new graduate registered nurse. I am moving over for a job from SA. I am looking for a room for 12months. I love music I generally always have music playing when I cook but am respectful of volume when others are around. I like to go to concerts but I am not a big party person. love a Netflix binge. I enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine and mostly I love to travel. I like to be organised, I am a neat and tidy person but I am still pretty laid back and down to earth. I like to cook, I am vegetarian but have no issues with people eating/cooking meat around me. I will be having people come and visit me from SA but not for long periods of time and my family and friends are all lovely and respectful.
I'm Tom. I'll be looking for a new place to call home in the coming months and keen to find some likeminded cats with whom I can happily co-habit. THE HOME & VIBE: I'm searching for an established home--not a house--where my housemates are kind, respectful, fun and treat each other a bit like a lil' family. I'd love to live with people who are clear communicators and want to actively contribute to a supportive, clean, calm, healthy, happy and beautiful home environment :) Two or three other housemates with similar wrinkles/receding hairline (i.e. age) of 25-35 years old who are settled, and on a lease with a long-term mindset would be ideal. Home is more of a sanctuary for me: it's lowkey and homely with adult furniture (i.e. slightly more curated than a random couch found on hard rubbish day. Though don't get me wrong, I do love a good hard-rubbish find); home has a communal atmosphere, where we can watch The Bachelor and complain how sad the show is but secretly enjoy it at the same time (the many house plants can also watch and enjoy with us). Maybe my new housemates could help me hunt down the best parma spots in Melbourne. Admittedly, I think I've already found the best (The Birmy in Collingwood), but I'm open to be challenged. ABOUT ME: I'm 27 going on 65—my spirit age—and originally from Tassie (i.e. generally nice, like to bushwalk, want a Suburu Outback, two heads… you know the drill). I moved here 4-5 years ago so I like to think I have enough 'Melbourne points' to now be qualified as a fully-fledged Melbourne person. As such, I Iove a good brunch and trying out new courses to learn things like pottery, as everyone my age in Fitzroy has probably already done. I.e. Up with the trends. I work full-time in marketing at realestate.com.au and keep very busy with that and other adventures. My mantra: Sky's out, thighs out: Love the sun (lizard is my spirit animal), always wearing shorts and like to be in the sun doing whatever: biking, napping or sipping on multiple, back-to-back cups of tea (can never have enough) while pretending to read my book or chatting to whoever's around. Fast facts: Apparently I'm a tad awkward but in a good way (I take it as a compliment?). I'm gay, not that it matters but just FYI in case that bothers you, and also because I want to be around friendly people with generally progressive attitudes. As evidenced in the previous sentence, I'm not afraid of the Oxford comma. One day (in the far future when I'm ready) I want to get an Italian Greyhound. Recent Netflix binges: Chernobyl, Schitt's Creek, Special, The Good Wife, Terrace House. LOCATION & PROPERTY TYPE: I’m searching in Clifton Hill, Cremorne, Abbotsford, Richmond or Fitzroy because I work in Richmond, bike my way around (or PTV when desperate enough) and I prefer the north/east vibe. Ever since I left home 7 years ago, I've lived in apartments and this time around, I want to live in a house again... with a yard and all those simple pleasures in life I took for granted growing up :)
Hello! My name is Steph (please, do not call me Stephanie, I do not answer... unless I am in trouble) I am 28, female, currently working as a full time Visual Merchandisers for H&M. I love to read, draw, listening to most forms of music, particularly Punk to Hip Hop to K-Pop (I know, I know, it's a mix bag!) I am known to sing in the middle of shops and am always up to re-watch any comic book or fantasy film/TV Show repeatedly... well, only the good ones. I am respectful of others spaces and property, considerate and clean. Am always up for a chat and glass of wine but am happy in my own space. I am looking for roommates that are not just looking to just fill a space in their house, but live in a home and socialise with wine and trivia nights. I am looking to move to in the Elwood, Elsternwick, South Yarra, Toorak and surrounding areas to be close to the city, its lifestyle and in my case, easy commute to work. Please feel free to message with any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you, Steph Corpe. P.S Anyone who has fur babies, please know I am allergic to cats, rabbits and other cute creatures and I need to live inside a bubble. Dogs are, however, cool and not allergic! In fact, would love to get one in the near future.
Hellloo :) (waving hand) I am an open and easy going soul. The three things i love most are people, art and the environment. I have a little bit of experience in share houses, as i have lived in one for more than 2 and a half years. I consider myself as responsible and tidy so you’ll never have to clean up after me. Typically, i am completely sociable and love having any and every kind of conversation. Whether that’s over a meal, herbal tea or drinks i am down! I love the feeling of community and the idea of sharing space with others, with that being said, i also enjoy my own energy from time to time and can respect the personal spaces of others too. As an (LGBTIQA+) identifying person, having a safe space and caring environment is at my core. I believe in acknowledging everyone’s needs and putting in the work to make a house a home. At the moment i am working casually in front of house spaces and engaging in community initiatives. If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to message me. Faith :)
I’m looking to move out of my current share house in a few weeks as my current housemate has found love and the two bed flat is getting a bit too cosy! I’m responsible and tidy, will be out of the house during the week as I work full time, but definitely up for a good Netflix binge on the weekend. I’m a country(ish) girl and spent 2 years living and working in Japan not long ago. I love the city and am basically looking for a casual house I can come home to and relax! I’m an animal lover and would love to be able to have a pet in the house, but don’t have one to bring with me. I’ve got my own bed that I’d like to bring with me but no other furnishings - apart from my veggie-bullet - zoodles and cauliflower rice on demand! Oh and not to forget my vintage record player! I do like to play the occasional game, so I’ll be bringing my Switch and PS4 I’m too! The PS4 has Netflix and Stan already so I’m happy to share that!
Born and raised in Melbourne, studying post grad law and also teach cello on the side. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the cello, terrible Australian reality tv and the (very) occasional boogie. Looking to create a home not just a house but also respectful of personal space! Current tv show: Twin Peaks Current book: Awakenings - Oliver Sacks A clean bathroom and kitchen highly appreciated.
