This house is the ultimate student house ideally located 100 metres from Elsternwick Train station and the Elsternwick shops. The house has 4 generous bedrooms and a fifth bedroom/additional lounge room. There is a large lounge area with bar (that has for many years contained a billiards table) and an additional sunroom/tv room which opens out on to a wooden deck. There is also a large kitchen dining area, front and back gardens and offstreet parking for one. The house has been a very loved student share house for the last 10 years. It has great communal space, but the bedrooms are large enough for housemates to escape and have privacy. The house is in original condition, but its features are full of character and provide a perfect location for share house living. The nearby Elsternwick shops have cafes, bars, restaurants and a cinema as well as numerous other services such as banks, supermarkets etc. This ad will be updated with photos soon

I love where I live! Its central to everything. I live on a beautiful street, the very famous 'St Georges Rd" of elsternwick. No need for a car, the shops, train station, trams are all within walking distance. The building itself is a beautiful old Edwardian mansion and my unit is the only one with a courtyard. As I am a keen gardner I have created a beautiful oasis for my self. I love nothing more that to chill out in the courtyard on my hammock with a glass of wine in my hand... bliss. Recently an air conditioning unit was installed which makes the hot and cold seasons a lot more comfortable.
The place is a 5 minute walk to Glenhuntly road, Elsternwick station, the Classic Cinema and lots of restaurants. It’s a spacious deco apartment. It is kind of old so looking a bit shabbier than the photos but we are making it pretty by painting it and stuff.

Extremely convenient location for transport to CBD, Prahran, Sth. Yarra, Windsor, St. Kilda beach. Previous tenant was there for 26 years. You will not want to leave.
Hello! We're a pretty relaxed couple with a super friendly golden retriever. We're both working (I'm a physio and Al's a consultant) but work isn't our whole lives. We're hoping to be the kind of housemates you like grabbing a drink or sharing a meal with from time to time. In our spare time we like to head down to the coast, catch up with family and friends, and have mini-adventures. Neither of us are raging party animals and we're all house-trained (the dog included) so we pick up after ourselves and know how to clean to a 'my-folks-might-pop-in-for-a-cup-of-tea' standard.
Hello my potential housemate, My name is Louisa. I have been living and studying in Melbourne for over 10 years. I am looking for a clean and spacious room which is close to Monash Caulfield Campus where I will be studying for next two years. I am friendly and mature, always clean after myself and respect privacy of others.
I am an arty-farty creative working full-time in Graphic Design. Always keen for a drink and a game of FIFA on the playstation if you're keen! I don't expect us to be best mates, and respect space/privacy as I hope to be reciprocated. Easy going and house proud. I am a home-owner in Sydney, now moving my life down to Melb to start a new chapter. I will be bringing my house-cleaning / bleach obsessed habits with me (lucky you, future housemate!) Seeking an existing sharehouse with max 2 other housemates. Also open to teaming up for a 2 bedroom furnished apartment. Hit me up if that ticks your box!
I am moving down to Melbourne on last week of December. Will be working full time for Software firm located in Gardenvale area. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Love cooking, baking and travelling.
Hey there! So, after my girlfriend (23) and I (25) graduated this year, we decided to travel around Australia for about a year. She finished a master degree in law whereas I specialized in psychology. We're two persons who have wide interests and are always keen to have a good conversation since we're both quite extrovert. My girlfriend is French and I'm Dutch so that makes a great mix for a good cuisine or some talks about history. We also enjoy a fresh beer sometimes. Our main focus for living in a shared house now - is to work as much as we can so you shouldn't be worried about us being party animals or being too loud around the house. Having previously studied abroad, we've both already lived in multiple shared houses. We know how to deal with everything which includes living with other people. We like to keep common areas tidy, this is why we're always cleaning after ourselves and we would enjoy alike minded people. We are planning to base ourselves in Melbourne for at least the coming 8 weeks at a place that makes us feel a bit like home! So please, don't hesitate contacting us if you feel like we would be a good match at your place.
Hello there. I am 25 years old, currently studying Counselling and Psychotherapy full-time whilst working part-time in hospitality. Due to my studies, I spend a decent amount of time at home. I am quite the early riser and generally hit the hay around 9-10:30 on weekdays. This indicates that I am not the party person you may have been searching for! Despite my routine being similar to that of a man in his late 70's, I love conversation, a cheeky beverage, a movie, you name it! I endeavour to be close friends with whoever I'm living with, hoping that they share this sentiment! I am quite tidy and always clean up after myself, happy to divide cleaning equally in shared spaces. I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies, mainly revolving around reading, exercise, music and food (of course). I sometimes sing and play keys to keep my internal artist (barely) breathing. Other than this I am fairly quiet in habit and certainly appreciate the personal space that others as well as myself need. If these attributes sound like those belonging to a stable, reliable housemate and future friend, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am happy to get to know you first before a decision is made, as we all like to know who we are getting into bed with (forgive my poor taste in idioms). Regards, Toby
Hi there!! I'm a 28year old health professional looking to move from the Mornington Peninsula into Melb city. I am a respectful, clean, friendly, relaxed housemate that enjoys downtime at home, as well as being social too. I love going on adventures, exercising, dancing, and meeting new people.
Hi, I’m a 24 year old female originally from Scotland, been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years! I work full time in St Kilda as a early childhood educator. I’m pretty quiet during the week and love to explore different places on the weekends with my boyfriend and my 1 year old puppy- Tucker. Tucker is a super super friendly French bulldog x Staffy loves attention and cuddles and especially loves the company of other dogs 😊
Hi everyone I’m Noel. I’m moving from Ireland so I’m looking for somewhere to live ! I’m very outgoing. I like rugby, and an Irish sport called hurling ! I like to cook also ! I like to enjoy my time off either play the above sports or watching them live or on tv! Any questions just ask ! :)
I'm an easygoing, social and mature housemate looking to join an existing home. I have just moved back to Melbourne and looking to find a place with good company; people who like to hang out together, share a drink or meal and have great house sharing etiquette :) I'm currently settling into Melbourne and looking for a job. I am qualified as a primary teacher and a designer. My interests are outdoors, art, climbing, cycling, beach and I like to be social and active!
Hey! I am a positive, proactive, relaxed kinda person who loves to have a laugh. I enjoy banter and being silly, hanging out with my house mate but also my down time and very respectful of others. Love my job, working in the not for profit sector is most rewarding. Pilates, yoga, dancing, movies and hanging out with friends are what I love to do. I am looking for someone mature, relaxed, and who doesn't party. As I am past all of that. But mostly, if you are down to earth, enjoy a laugh then we will get a long. My cat Hugo is super friendly and affectionate. He loves people and even the cat haters love him. He is half dog personality half cat personality.
I am graduate, currently working, hardly stays at home. Not looking for a party house but wont mind a couple of drinks. I like to be in a clean and tidy place.
I’m in environmental restoration, work mostly down on the coast, love everything about Melbourne, avid golfer, love a beer over a hot sunny day! Just keen to meet some legends and see where it ends up.
I am looking for a place to share where housemates have respect for each other's boundaries & personal lives & communicate with each other in a courteous manner, & its a FAIR & equitable home environment, yet warm, kind & friendly household, with ensuite or seperate bathroom, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am a management consultant & my adorable cavoodle is very clean, friendly, quiet, very well behaved, is professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet. I am sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally.
Hello Everyone!!! I'm a 27 years old Colombian girl who is studying a Project Management course and working as a cleaner in a building in CBD. I've been working there since I arrived to Melbourne, so I can say my work is reliable. I am a pretty clean and calm adult who doesn't like parties at home, but enjoy a good beer and chat.
Hey I’m Cat and currently on the look out for a new place! I’m 23 and originally from New Zealand (so I’ve heard all the kiwi jokes before) but I’ve been over in Australia for the last 2 1/2 years. I’m down for a drink or chat when I’m home but also like time to myself as well. I also love to watch a good movie or binge watch a tv show every so often! I keep myself busy so between work, catching up with mates/boyfriend and trying to get in a workout or two I won’t be home 24/7. I love a tidy house and am always on time with my bills!
I work in the public service in an editing/communications type role. I sometimes work very early or very late but I'm good at slinking around quietly. My interests include writing and small batch gin, and I do Latvian language classes on weekends. I'm feline-friendly but don't come with a cat. It would be great to make a new friend but I'm also pretty independent and like a fair bit of time to myself.
Hi I’m Harriet! I’m a primary school teacher who is social, friendly, clean and always respectful of others’ space. I am currently living in Middle Park with my sister but she is moving in with her partner, so I thought I’d try to look for another share house in an area a bit more lively! I love festivals/gigs, camping, heading out and about with friends (but also quiet Netflix nights in too), shopping, trashy TV (can’t resist the bachelor) and a good Sunday Bloody Mary! I have had lots of experience living in share houses, so I know the drill :) I prefer to enjoy housemates as friends, rather than just housemates. I’m also not looking for a party house, but am always happy if there’s the occasional housewarming/birthday/pre drinks etc. If this sounds like someone you’d be interested in living with, feel free to contact me and I’d love to come and visit and meet you :)
