Hello all! My name is Kelsey. I’m a Drama teacher living in the Inner South East on my own currently, and although I love it, I’m looking to team up with someone and move out of my place at the end of May/start of June. I’m trying to do this whole “saving for a house” adult thing, and it’s easier when you live with an awesome housemate. I’ve been teaching for 6 years (Drama/English/Psych), so I have a reliable job. I spend most of the week either slaving away at work (kidding...I swear I love my job), at the gym (let’s see how long that resolution lasts), playing tennis or visiting friends/family. Bonus points if you play tennis. I’m pretty relaxed and like to chill with wine and watch tv every now and then. If I’m in a bad mood, I know to lock myself away. Would like a housemate that isn’t going to lock themselves away 24/7 though. Wouldn’t mind making a new friend! I like to go out every now and then, but I’m not a huge party animal (probably because all of my friends are basically married, but anyway....) I have everything needed for a house (fridge, couch, coffee table, tv, storage cubes, washing machine etc). Please note: my lease runs out mid June, so not looking to move until at least May :) Thanks!
Hi! I'm Alex! I'm a Greek/Aussie looking to come back home to start a new life for myself. I'm really sociable but also know my boundaries and can respect your need for peace and quiet. I like to keep things tidy and organized and always clean up after myself. My hobbies include meeting new people, exploring new areas, hanging out with good friends, gaming and watching my favorite shows! I'll be heading down to Melbourne on March 12th and am looking for a place to stay for 2 weeks minimum.
The best thing about me is that I'm a very easy going, chilled relaxed person. I'm drama free. I promise :) I work as a product coordinator for a software company. I tend to leave at 8 and then go straight to gym meaning i get home at 8pm or so most days of the week. I'm into fitness, sports, cooking and my main passion is travel. I will usually go away for 4 weeks each year. I do like to go out on weekends but i never ever bring the party back to the home.
We are a brazilian couple, both of us students working part-time. We are very easy going, parties aren't our prefered way to have fun. We like a quiet environment and we like playing table games and watching series and movies as a hobbie. We like traveling and going out to visit new places, that's how we have fun. We've lived in the Gold Coast for 6 months and then we moved to Melbourne. We arrived 2 weeks ago in Melbourne and we are staying in a friend's house untill we find a long-term place to move in.
I am tidy, respectful and quiet. For fun I like to cycle, go on exploring on weekends away out of the city, museum trips, walks on the beach, going to nice restaurants, and watching god films.
I love music, games, going out and staying in, sports and gym. Im chilled out and go with the flow type of guys but i like to keep clean and tidy. Always happy to meet new people and try new things. Just wanting a fresh start!!!
I've lived in share accommodation for eight years now, and am pretty savvy with the ins and outs. I'm tidy, I don't party much anymore (though can be convinced pretty easily), and have a trade in horticulture (which means I really, really like plants.) I consider myself a conscientious and drama free person to share a space with. Ideally looking for people who agree with me on everything and want to pay for my ubers, but I'll settle for nice, genuine, and responsible young adults :) I'm very adaptable, and really don't mind if you're a big household of 6 artists and students between the ages of 18 and 58 who all have different schedules and like to host candle making classes in the kitchen on weeknights, or whether you're a quiet couple looking for a rent-subsidising third wheel to live in a spare room, and be seen but not heard. Either or anything in between will work. Just very very very keen to get into my first Melbourne sharehouse. (I just realised, I never mentioned that I just moved down from Sydney.)
Hi everyone 👋 I'm Hannah and I'm looking for a new home! I'm a bachelor of science and veterinary nursing student in my twenties. My primary job is working at Maccas but I also look after animals at the owner's home when they go on holidays such as cat visiting once a day! Soon I'll be back at uni (RMIT in the city) and combined with work placement at a Veterinary Clinic in Camberwell I keep a pretty busy schedule! However, I'm looking for a social household where the other tenants are up for a glass of wine at the end of the day or maybe a pub meal occasionally or even just a chat in the back garden! I'm super friendly, smiley, and open to living with anyone that is similar! In my spare time, I like to binge Netflix shows, meal prep, do outdoorsy things and I'm interested in conservation efforts and things such as beach cleanups and volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries (yet to do so). Looking at: Suburbs surrounding the city and close to public transport! Experience: I have lived in a sharehouse in Flemington for the past 1 and a half years paying $630 a month comfortably so I'm looking for about $800 a month max! I would love to hear from you if you have anything close to what I'm looking for and hopefully I can be a great addition to your household! Hannah
I am a Irish 27 year old I have lived in Australia for over ten years. Only been living in Melbourne for a year. Love it so far. I work in insurance full time. Also use to be a hairdresser. So always very busy love reading yoga and love being social meeting new people haven a few wines on the weekend 😀
I am a fun and social person who is easy to get along with. I hold a high respect for the privacy of others. I love getting outdoors, going running, going to the beach and going hiking. I enjoy cooking and going out for meals on weekends. I believe it is important to keep living areas clean and tidy.
I'm new in the Melbourne area, just moved up from Hobart to broaden my horizons and look for work. I'm looking for some flatmates I can relax around and maybe make some good friends. I am a very chill person, but also very tidy and motivated. I appreciate personal space but I'm also always up for a good movie night or some drinks. I'm into music, listening to and making, and I really enjoy going to gigs and festivals when I have the time and money. I am respectful of all personalities from all walks of life and would be comfortable in a household that respects me and my personality as well. If you think I might be a good fit for your household, please get in contact and maybe we can chill and chat over a coffee to get to know each other. I look forward to meeting you.
Hi I have just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for a work. I am looking for a relaxed place not too far from the city or close to a train station. I am a full time working professional but also enjoy weekend adventures, hiking, and like to be social. Looking for somewhere that I can have a mix of my own space but also chats/wine/movie etc. Would prefer own bathroom. I love animals, so the more the merrier!
Hi! My name is Amber. Here's a little bit about me! I come from a small town about 5 hours south west from Melbourne and I have recently just moved to Caulfield South to a pet friendly . With me comes my gorgeous two and a half year old Labrador Winston who, in the year that I have had him, has never barked. He doesn't dig, he's toilet trained and honestly if he could, he'd choose to sleep all day. I also have a cat called cooper but he generally responds to "Oi" and "fuck off". He's just as stupid as every other cat. He likes to sit on things (chairs, people, salt lamps, cups... You name it) but they're both my family and Im not willing to leave them. They are both predominantly inside animals and are as quiet as a mouse. I'm an 18 year old girl who had been living out of home for a year and a half. I have completed not only high school but a year of university as well as a cert 2 in makeup and beauty retail all in the space of Year 12. I have great rental history and am both a quiet introvert who reads books and plays music. I'm not a huge party animal and I don't go out often. I'm currently working in St Kilda in the hospitality sector until I find other work. I am a healthy eater but enjoy the occasional take out and my go to junk food is nutella on weet bix. WHY MELBOURNE? My town has a population of about 12000 people and although it is lovely, there aren't many life opportunities that are offered here. There's also no entertainment for us and the younger kids which causes a lot of trouble. Im clean and tidy and a quiet but friendly housemate. I am after either a granny flat, a flat or a private room with own bathroom but beggars can't be choosers so I am flexible with this! Look forward to hearing from you!
I’m a friendly and relaxed Yoga and Pilates teacher and cafe junkie... I’m out and about most of the time so value a pretty chilled space at home. I enjoy sharing a chat, laugh, vino or cuppa from time to time and easily approachable with all matters of the house. I’m clean and tidy and respect the space of others. Love being outside and spending time at the beach (hence the move!)
Hey! I'm a 23 yo full time carpenter looking for a room around the inner south/east! I spend most of my free time at the gym, cooking, watching/playing sport and just drinking with mates. Very chilled out and sociable but also enjoy being alone and respect that with others, looking for people to be friends with as well as roommates Have lived in share houses previously so responsible with cleaning, noise etc.
I'm Brendan, 22 years old. I work as a forklift driver which requires an early start. I'm really laid back and I spend my spare time at the gym, with my mates or by watching a movie. I can cook when I have the time for it.
