This is a beautiful, refurbished terrace house situated in the heart of Erskineville - high ceilings, cast iron fencing, quaint balcony, steep staircase: a real gem. The house has three bedrooms, all upstairs, with separate living/lounge and dining areas. The kitchen is well-appointed (including dishwasher) and very generous with space. Out the back there's a peaceful little yard, with washing line and carport. On-street parking is also guaranteed by council pass. The location is practically unbeatable, with the house situated a (literal) stone's toss from Erskineville station and a short walk to Newtown/Macdonaldtown (thus accessing two lines). Inamongst a wide selection of bars, restaurants and inner city vigour there's no shortage of fun to be had.
Bright rooms in a 2 story townhouse with a walk-in wardrobe, air-conditioning and fan. Ample common space in the living room, dining area and kitchen. Outdoor deck for BBQ. Quiet, tucked away location. 5 minute walk to Erskineville Station. Two stops to Central station. 15 minute walk to King Street, Newtown. Close to several cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and parks. Less than 30 minutes by public transport to Sydney Uni, UTS and RPA hospital.
Must love dogs - sharing with a large, boisterous, ball crazy GSP! I love the neighbourhood because its very pet friendly, and close to Sydney Park! It's also only a 5 minute walk to the station and great cafes & pubs. The train to Central takes 5 minutes! The place is old and not renovated, but cute and cozy. There is a courtyard where you could park a motorbike/scooter. Room is currently furnished or I can remove bed if you already have own and looking for long term place.
Hi! I'm Mark, a 22 year old USYD graduate. Just came back from 6 months studying abroad. Working in consulting, in Barangaroo so prefer a place very close to transport. Super clean and spend a lot of time out of the house for work.
I am a mature 24 year old young professional originally from Scotland and have lived in Sydney for almost 3 years now. I work in sales in the financial services industry and I'm career focused therefore during the week I usually work until 6ish then go to the gym. Boring bit out of the way... I play in a football (soccer) team, I'm a sociable guy and I would say I am easy going with a decent (although sometimes dark) sense of humour. I wouldn't say I have OCD when it comes to cleaning but I can't handle living in a dirty place. If keeping the place clean isn't of great importance then it probably wouldn't work. I'm more than happy to chip in and/or pay for a cleaner. If you have decent banter, like to socialise at weekends and are easy going then we will get along. Probably looking to share with people older than myself and not with students/backpackers. My lease runs out in Feb so would be looking to move in later this month and can start viewing places asap. I think its always a good idea to grab a drink for a chat somewhere as well if you're up for that!
I’m told I’m bubbly and fun. I like to keep to my own business but will always be a shoulder to lean on for my friends. I enjoy having drinks with friends every now and again at pubs or bars, not a big party animal. Looking to meet new people and share a nice and chilled home with good vibes.
I am English, 43 years old and been living over here for 16 years or so. I am a relaxed, easy going and a clean and tidy person. I love socialising with friends, but also happy to chill out at home. I am looking for a home, not just a room to rent, so would like to share with someone who would like to occasionally socialise, share a glass of wine, but also be able to respect each others privacy.
I'm very clean and funny and kind person to live with. I like my own space but also am social and friendly! I'm a filmmaker and work part time in surry hills and part time freelancing.
Hi All! Recently back from 8years in the UK (dual citizen) and have been living in Newtown by myself for the past year and a bit. Ready to save a bit of money and also have some friendly faces to come home to in the evening. I work full time in Paddington, arranging the travel for sports teams and large corporate companies. (Yes I can get you discounts and free sports tickets). LOVE to cook for myself/friends/housemates, go to farmers markets, indulge in a netflix binge and most certainly enjoy a good bottle of wine. Looking for a home, not a crash pad and ideally one devoid of housemate drama. All I need is a queen room, some outdoor space and a good kitchen (gas!). I'm all about those good vibes and good chats!
I have recently located to Sydney from Perth and am looking to make a new start in a great new city. I am super friendly, neat and easy going. I can live well in a group or can be self sufficient. I am looking to find a place with a friendly and warm atmosphere.
I'm Alex, a friendly, easy-going Perth boy moving to Sydney at the start of March to study a Masters at the Conservatorium of Music. I need a place to stay for about two months while I'm looking for something more permanent. I'm generally quite down to earth, very tidy and will respect the space I find myself in. Happy to share chats over wine or find some shared interests on Netflix but equally would be quite content keeping mainly to myself. I'm very big into arts and culture, film, theatre, fashion and music (I study classical music, so that's my area of expertise, but I also try and diversify what I listen to!). Ideally I'm looking for a cute place with likeminded, chilled out people.
Hello! I am a young professional who works in finance/accounting in the city. I have a very calm and sweetly natured 4 year old cat. She is always indoors. I also have all my own furniture so prefer an unfurnished room, and if possible a place to put my couch, tv and coffee table at least (even if storage) :) I lived with my similarly aged sister for about 6 years and then moved out on my own into Drummoyne for a year. I love living in the area! I generally prefer to be out during the day and in during the night. I like to keep my spaces clean and organised, and don't mind trying something new in the kitchen from time to time! I am looking for a private room, preferably in a house or somewhere with a courtyard/balcony at least, and it must have it's own bathroom or ensuite. I have a car and will really want a carspace but if not, easy street parking is a must. I like to have my personal space but I am looking forward to meeting some interesting people and sharing time with them!
I am 28 work full time in management consulting in the city and looking for my next home. I work fairly long hours during the week - if i'm not working I'm checking out local op shops and markets, doing yoga or hanging with friends down at the pub. I am a little house proud so like to look after where I live. I'll respect your space (as I love some good alone time) but not against the occasional shared meal and a glass of wine together.
Super fun but quite and tidy! I am an art lover and full time worker. So I will be at home just for sleeping and cooking time to time :) I prefer an apartment instead of a house ( sorry couldnt handle with all the spiders and bugs) Clean, tidy, organized, furnished place would be great! I have been living in different countries for studying so have the experience with crazy student flats but looking more calm place this time. I am a non-smoker, LGBTQ friendly, cat lover..
Hi, I'm from Adelaide and currently polishing of my thesis before starting work as a consultant in late February. I'm moving over the 17th of Feb and have a couple weeks of temporary accommodation lined up so I can be flexible with moving dates etc. I've lived in shared places before and really enjoy the social aspect with occasional meals and a few drinks on the weekend etc, but I understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. I'm a tidy person (but not over the top) and intend to bring that to any place I move into. Really keen to meet some interesting people and share a few laughs!
I'm a chilled and calm guy, looking for a place to call home with people whose company I can enjoy without living in each others space all the time. Good blend of sharing and caring, and privacy and respect. I do 'adult' very well, i.e. house trained. Love cooking and the arts, cycling, beach and tai chi among many interests
Hi My name is Rob :) I'm a full time landscaper, I'm up around 530 in the morning Monday - Friday. I'm into my gym and fitness through out the week after work. I love a few beers on the weekend. I like to have a chat and think of myself as easy going and open minded. I'm looking for a place with like minded people/person with Sorta similar interests. I'm pretty good at keeping my belongs and the house tidy. I'm looking for a room because I'm trying to save a bit more cash and enjoy company of others .
