Hi I'm Ronan, I'm a Sydney native that has lived overseas, but now lives and works in Sydney as a coffee roaster. I'm at work Monday to Friday 7 to 4. I'm also a qualified massage therapist doing further study and not working at the moment. I enjoy cooking, outdoor activities, travel, being out with friends and sometimes weekends away
Hi! I am a 32 year old professional female working in HR within the banking industry. After 8 years of harmoniuos house sharing as a single, I moved in with the ex and it really did not work out well so looking for a great home with cool flatmates to go back to my GoT binging and socialising weekends. I'm open minded and am seeking a comfortable, relaxed and functioning environment. I am respectful of other people's boundaries, friendly and grew up in a strict South American household so I am neat and always pick up after myself because I'm sure my mum would find out somehow if I didnt! Looking for a bedroom with wardrobe space (fair bit) and own bathroom, I don't drive so no need for a carspace. I work during the week, sometimes long hours and I tend to be pretty lowkey on school nights. On the weekends I am usually out and about. I cook but very sparodically and don't even sit to eat until I've cleaned the kitchen up usually. My move date is flexible as I am camping out at my parents' having my laundry done for me, so I am quite comfortable to wait until suitable move dates are organised.
I'm looking for somewhere new to call 'home', with an easy-going full-time working professional who's got their life sorted. Either moving into somewhere new or renting a room & bathroom are ideal. I like to think I'm friendly, welcoming, personable and an agreeable kind of guy with my my head on right and my 'stuff' together. I work full time in digital media as a journalist, so I'm pretty busy at work during most days of the week as well as many nights of the week, so I tend to stay out of anyone's hair. My weekends are my own and I love down time spent relaxing at home, visiting galleries or beaching, going out and to parties, Netflix binging or watching movies, reading and trying to not kill my plants. I'm very clean and tidy, don't take up a lot of space and pretty open minded, like nice wine and fancy cheese and can hold a good conversation. I have a massive soft spot for dogs and all animals so if you have a pet, I'd be stoked. I do drink, I do not take drugs and I am also gay, if that matters.
Mine and Lizzy's lease is up in Feb 2017 so we thought we'd just make a profile to get the feelers out there as a lot of people will be looking for accommodation at this time. We're still not 100% on where we would prefer to live so we've put a variety of places down as options. In 2017 Lizzy will be in her last year of Law at Macquarie University and working part-time as a Court Officer. I will be starting my Masters of Public Policy at USYD and working part time in the public sector and also nannying. Ideally, we'd like a place in Kirribilli/North Sydney close to the trains, as Lizzy is tired of the bridge tolls lol. But also we've been living in the inner west for 2 years and are in love with it so we're open to continue living here if the right place comes up. A bit about us, we're both originally from the Central Coast and are really easygoing, fun housemates. We generally keep to ourselves during the week because of our busy schedules but do enjoy partaking in a few casual bevvies and going to gigs and bars on the weekends. We're also really into food and eating out so a house full of foodies who would join us would be so great! However we are both mature and respectful and are down with the whole sharehouse etiquette as we've been living in them for 3 years now. We are tidy and clean and are dedicated to keep common areas nice and welcoming. We are both very social but respect others privacy. We're also willing to team up with others to find the perfect place and start a new share house full of likeminded and fun people! So hit us up if you have two private rooms available or are interested in teaming up X
Hi all, my name is Siobhan. I work full time in marketing for a tech start up. I'm friendly, reliable, respectful, tidy and looking to find a lovely new share house! I love cooking, going to brunch, markets, and I appreciate a great coffee and a glass of wine. Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Hey, I am Vicente originally from Spain, living in Sydney for almost 4 years already I am easy going, sociable, clean..... looking for a place that I can call home. I like home to be a place to relax and I respect privacy and space but sociable as well :) I enjoy the outdoor, going out for a drink or two, live music... but also enjoy a quiet night at home watching a movie Busy during the week with work(I work as an architect standard office hour 9-6 but sometimes i have to do crazy hours) , on weekends I like going to the markets, beach, catching up friends, camping,... or sometimes just stay at home. I also have a small campervan and I like to spend weekends out of the city when is warm. I am looking for a place to move around the 15th of October but I am flexible with the dates. Cheers
Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm from Sweden, currently living in Stockholm. I will be studying communication design in Sydney from February 20th for 2-3 years and I'm looking for a place to stay. I love pets but won't be taking any to Australia, like to go jogging or do yoga and enjoy eating healthy. If you feel like you would want to live with me, send me a message! :)
Hey there, I'm Toni, 29 originally from the UK with extended family in Australia. I am a hospitality professional working in events for nearly two years. I work pretty hard in the week including some evenings and weekend shifts. But don't let that put you off, I'm very considerate and skilled at coming home quietly, and stealthily. Also have an active social life, seeing my family and friends. I like my down time after work to unwind after a fast paced day. I do yoga regularly and am a mad walker/hiker, was hiking in India in August. Also love the outdoors, so any time to hit the beach or hike in the woods, i'm there. I am friendly, easy going, chilled as a cucumber and love hanging around in a good atmosphere with music on, cooking, maybe watching a movie or having tea or a glass of wine (your preference) over good conversation. Also happy to let people have their own space and time. Find it easy meeting new people and housemates have become like family. Also I have a partner Niilo who is living abroad studying environmental engineering and visits occasionally. I'm very clean and tidy but also like a flat/house to feel lived in, a plate here or there is just dandy, well as long as it doesn't live there ;)

One room available for up to 5 weeks from 4 December 2016 - 7 January 2016 while I am away on holiday. I also have a small dog (pug x cavalier king charles spaniel) so people who are willing and able to dog sit would be ideal. The house is a sunny 3-bedroom recently renovated terrace with a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower and a big bathtub. There is also a lovely grassy backyard. It is on a leafy and quiet cul de sac in the area between Erskineville and Redfern. Walking distance to public transport and plenty of cafes (very yummy breakkie at Meet Gerard, coffee at Henley's Wholefoods, and croissants at Bread & Circus!). The street is mainly home to young families and professionals, lots of whom have dogs. - 10 minutes walk to Erskineville Station - 20 minutes walk to Redfern Station - 5 minutes walk to Erskineville Oval/dog park - 20 minutes walk to Sydney Park - 15 minutes walk to Erskineville shops - 30 minutes walk to King Street The bedroom is spacious and furnished with a double bed. There will be two other friendly housemates in separate bedrooms. Looking for someone who is easy-going, considerate, and will keep the place tidy and clean while I'm away. If you need accommodation for 3-5 weeks during the dates above, it's a wonderful location for enjoying all that Alexandria, Erskineville, Redfern, and Newtown have to offer. Dog lovers welcomed! Please get in touch to work out the finer details or ask any questions! (and please note that you're after the short-term rental so I don't get confused with my other room ad!)
Terrace house with grassy backyard in Alexandria has one bedroom available for $250/week from 20 November 2016. The house is a 3-bedroom recently renovated terrace with a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower and a big bathtub. There is also a lovely sunny backyard with a shed which was intended as a small garage but is used for storage. The house is on a leafy and quiet cul de sac in the area between Erskineville and Redfern. It is walking distance to public transport and plenty of cafes (very yummy breakkie at Meet Gerard, coffee at Henley's Wholefoods, and croissants at Bread & Circus!). The street is mainly home to young families and professionals, lots of whom have dogs. - 10 minutes walk to Erskineville Station - 20 minutes walk to Redfern Station - 5 minutes walk to Erskineville Oval/dog park - 20 minutes walk to Sydney Park - 15 minutes walk to Erskineville shops - 30 minutes walk to King Street I'm renewing the lease so the new roomie must be happy to put in a formal application and be on the lease. You'll be sharing with myself, my friend Anoushka and my pug cross Suki. Being a dog lover is a must as Suki often insists on being the centre of attention! The bedroom is the smallest of the three and comfortably fits a double bed, bedside table, wardrobe, and dresser and there's heaps of additional storage in a cupboard off the lounge which you can take advantage of. The bedroom window opens to an internal light-well rather than the outdoors so there is a little less light than you would normally expect. However, the sunny and spacious lounge and backyard and the overall niceness of the house more than make up for this. Electricity and gas is paid on top of rent, as well as internet which is $21 each per month. We don't pay for water. We take turns doing a weekly clean, taking out the bins, and buying the basics like washing powder. Ideally you are easy-going, considerate, and will keep the place tidy and clean. Cooking meals together or having a wine every now and then would be a plus! Ideally we can make the house feel like our home rather than just a sharehouse. Get in touch with a bit of information about you (work hours, what you're like as a housemate) and to arrange a time to come over and see the place. Were holding a final round of inspections this Saturday 22nd from 1-4pm. Move in is on November 20th and we'd need to sort out the real estate application over the next fortnight or so.
Share room or own room. Clean, cosy male shared studio with large modern kitchen, just a minutes' walk from Redfern Station. ( drama free people only ) Perfect for students who study at Sydney Uni or TAFE or serious full time backpacker. Looking for honest, reliable, normal people to share with. I am a simple person so you must be the same. NO high expectation, NO attitude. ONLY simple, quite living. Parties free please as many of our neighbours have been kicked due to noise issue. Contact me by text with your name, phone number and your information e.g. age, gender, nationality, work or study, move in date & move out date to obtain arrangement for inspection. Thank you Ray.
We're close to King Street (cafes, restaurants, bars etc), near Newtown (10 min), Refern (15 min) and Macdonaldtown Stations (3 min), easy access to buses into city & surrounding suburbs, 10 minute walk to University of Sydney, 20 min to UTS. Lovely quiet area across the road from Hollis Park.
A short walk from Erskineville station (fast into the CBD). Sits in a leafy and green area. Small flat, small bathroom, but large bedrooms with large mirrored built-in wardrobes. The heart of Newtown is a short stroll away, with all the pubs and cafes you can think of, along the way. The flat is comfortable and cosy, there's floorboards throughout, which is a breeze to keep clean. There's also a front-loader laundry machine hidden inside the cupboard on the left of the fridge, in the kitchen. The bedroom pictured is the one available, and corresponds to the BEDROOM 1 on the floor plan, this bedroom will be unfurnished (apart from the built-in wardrobe of course, not visible on the picture). Me and my current housemate agreed to keep our bikes inside (kitchen area) but I'm happy to revert back to what I used to do, which is locking it outside the entrance door. The complex is made of many apartments but most neighbours are really quite and respectful. Lots of bikes and cats around! Main downside is that it can be a bit dark at times, especially in Bedroom 1. But that can actually be a good thing in summer, so that the place stays fresh! The picture used for the bedroom is an old one, the window has now a fully covering roller blind that blocks all lights at night. There is a car space available, which I do not personally use. The quoted price reflects the demand in the area, the large double-size bedroom and the available car space. The lease will need to be renewed and signed under both our names. If you message me I can give you the link to the application if you need more info about what it involves. I wish to sign for not more than 6 months, the lease than becomes on a month-to-month basis after that. Whether I (or we) actually stay longer than 6 months remains a possibility, I just want to give myself the freedom, instead of signing for another full year. That is because I have already lived there for 2 years, both on a 1 year contract. Additional bills are internet (Fibre to the building with an impressive 80Mbps for 60$/month) and electricity (about 100$ per month on average). Water, strata and council rates are all taken cared of by the landlord, and there is no gas (unfortunately). So that's all. PS: if you're a girl you might not like the few insects that we can have around (although that is easily minimised when the place is well kept clean) and the fact that the bathroom does not have a locking door. Good to know in advance if that is a deal-breaker for you. So far we never had an accident, the place is small enough to know whether the missing person is in the bathroom or not :)
Renting our room for 10 weeks (from 28.11.2016 to 05.02.2016) while we are way on holidays. Our apartment is a cozy unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, BBQ, dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen appliances. The room is an ensuite room, with a little backyard with wood table and chairs - Perfect for yoga, meditation, reading etc. The complex has a swimming pool, sauna and a lovely communal garden with a great variate of spices. Location: on the hard of Sydney on a very quiet and laid back suburb: Darlington. The walking distances are great: 6 minutes walk to Redfern station, 15 minutes walk to Central Station, 5 minutes walk to Sydney Uni and 10 minutes walk to Newtown.

I'm a social, easy going guy. I work full time in the city and am home most week nights. On the weekends I try to pack a lot in and every few weeks I head up the coast to visit family. I have a Boxer who is a total dude, he loves everyone and it would be great if I could find a place with another dog. I'm open to moving into an existing house or starting up a new house.
I'm Isa, a 22-year-old student and working full time in Town Hall. I'm originally from Rio, I love psychedelic/alternative rock, I've got photography as my side job and I've been trying to quit my addiction to chocolate (like, really). Looking forward to moving ASAP. Up to $250 if I can walk/ ride my bicycle to work and $230 if not. Please let me know about all the details (bond, bills inc or exc...). Looking for a single, no sharing thanks
I'm a boring PhD student at UNSW from the USA. Tidy and a bit studious so looking for the same. I'll be in Sydney from late-October. I'm not sure what is worse, trying to find a flatmate or Tinder.

I'm from Venezuela and I used to live in Argentina for more than 8 years, I did my bachelor degree in Architecture there and now I going to start my master degree in sustainability in Sydney, I'm a traveller that love to meet new cultures (I visited more than 20 countries) , I love the sea and have a good time with friends but also read and drink a good cup of coffee.
German mathematician, lived in France for 7 years before moving to Sydney last year. Currently I am working on a software project with Qantas. In my free time I like exploring Sydney's galleries, museums, cafes, concerts, pubs or go hiking in the blue mountains. I lived in several flat-shares during the last 8 years and received so far only minor complaints. ;-) Living in a flat-share is perfect for the casual chat during the morning coffee, going out from time to time but I am happy as well to go my own way. Let's meet soon to see if we are a fit!
Hey there! Fun, friendly, and fresh from London; I'm looking to meet new friends in Sydney. Easy going, sociable and like to hang out at the weekend but also relish the quiet times chilling at home. Clean and tidy! Just been travelling for the last few months around Asia, New Zealand and Australia. I work in PR and will be doing this in Sydney. I'm an active person and enjoy my workouts. I'm into live music, going to the cinema and lazy days in the park.
