You & I I'm a laid back, quiet, 34 year old male software engineer who works in the city. I've lived in Australia my whole life. I enjoy playing games, surfing the web, reading, TV and the like. I am looking for a long term (6 month or more) flatmate who is reasonably tidy and responsible, and is preferably full time employed (although that's not a deal breaker). Please contact me to arrange an inspection.
Hi! I'm Sandra, a 23 year-old medical Student from Germany. I will be absolving part of my last year of medical studies in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in the departement of plastic surgery (elective of 8 weeks). I am looking foward to travellling to Australia, I have never been there and I am very excited about living in such a big and cool city like Sydney. Further I would love to live in a shared house so I could easily meet people and have a drink with them or get to know the city with my new flatmates. I am very uncomplicated and tidy. I am a diabetic tough so I wont party too much, that's not good for me either ;) Since I don't know what to write anymore, please ask me anything you want to know about me! See you soon!
I am a young professional, working as a management consultant in Sydney CBD. I recently moved to Sydney from Ireland and am still trying to get my bearings in the city. I am friendly, easy-going and respectful. I value my personal space but am always up for a good chat. I also like to maintain a clean and tidy living environment at all times. I like to hit the gym, listen to music or catch up on my favourite TV series in my free time and, as an expat in Sydney, I hope to explore all that the city has to offer...so any advice for a newbie would be most welcome!
I'm Glynis. Working in marketing at a little software company. I'm relaxed housemate - tidy, friendly, open to pitch in - I've been sharing for a few years now. While I enjoy relaxing after a day at work with housemates, I am also respectful of others space if they want some time out. On weekends I like to be outside, at the park, the beach, trips to the snow, that kinda thing. I also like to get into a good tv series/movie. Looking for a sunny room to fit my queen size bed & somewhere nearby to park my car.
I am NOT home most weekends and a few days of the week, so what that means for you is you have the benefit of a house mate Without having to see her constantly. Having said that... I'm pretty quiet. Tidy. Domestic. Mature and trustworthy and happy. I have a corporate full time permanent job so looking for a convenient location to commute to work. I like to look forward to getting home so if you like to make it a sanctuary too then we have a pretty important ideal in common. Pretty introspective. Like yoga and writing, reading and won't hog tv cause I rarely partake. Let's discuss what is important to you and see if we are a fit.
Trainee with NSW Ambulance doing 12hr shifts; 4 days on then 5 off on a 9-day week roster. Moving from Shellharbour to Sydney for this new work. I like to keep to myself but still consider myself a people person. I love music, specifically artists like Jacob Collier, Esperanza Spalding, Lianne La Havas, Hiatus Kaiyote, KING, etc; that kind of stuff :) My greatest fear is damaging someone else's belongings or property and I am a very clean and organised individual. That being said, I'm easy going, even easier to talk to, and super friendly so I hope you'll consider me! :D If you'd like any more information/details about me, please feel free to message me at any time and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!

Pursuing my master thesis project in biology in Sydney. I'm from Germany but have Chinese roots. I have lived the past 5 years in flatshares, so I know to value a good atmosphere. I like it clean and tidy (I really do), and also contribute my part to it. I'm easy to talk to and enjoy a walk in a park or by the ocean. I recently started meditation and do some reading into Buddhism philosophy. I work long hours and cherish a relaxed time at home. Looking for a quiet environment where housemates don't mind a chat but respect each others privacy. Let's meet and see if we're a match!
Hi all, I am currently working full time close to the heart of the city so I am keen to move in a little closer at least for the next 6 months. I am easy going, respectful and clean and am not afraid to pull my weight around the house. I prefer to relax with a book, Netflix or gaming and a relaxed/chill atmosphere. I am quite sociable and would hope for a household of 3-4 that is very much on the same page. While I am a smoker, it is more of a social thing and something I tend not to do on a day to day basis or while at home. I am also able to move ASAP, but there is no rush in needing to move.
Hey we are Emily and Sam. We are a couple in our late 20s. We have both lived in Sydney for a few years now. Sam works with an events/production company in the inner west helping to put on some of the great local music events and I work in marketing for an international development NGO in the city. We both love to cook and are looking for a house to call home - a place where we can hang with housemates and share a drink and the occasional meal, but also respect privacy. Sam also has a dog - he is super friendly and very well behaved. We are both very active so we love to head to the park daily with Druss. I'm into yoga, playing soccer, crafting and watching David Attenborough's creations. Sam is a history buff, runs trivia nights at a pub in Glebe and is a bit of a fantasy geek. We'd love to meet some like minded people to share a home with. Get in touch if we sound like a good fit!
We're an easy going, respectful couple from NZ. We're clean, courteous and aware of other people's thoughts and feelings. I work as an Account Manager at a Marketing Technology company. Meredith works in Architectural design and 3d Modelling. We love to go out to dinner or stay in and cook over a few drinks. We're partial to the odd sporting event or music festival. In saying that we love to stay fit and are quite career focused.

It's a nice and quiet double room in a fully furnished house in north Newtown, close to transport and farmer's markets. Preferably cooking, music, plant and cat friendly applicants... chest of drawers, closet, tv, bed.. Washer and dryer, instant gas water heater, a few homely quirks.. we may need a bigger fridge.. Easy going flatmates and cat, drop me a line if you're keen! Cheers
It's a nice and very big quiet double room in a fully furnished house in North Newtown. Very close to public transport, close to farmer's markets and Sydney Uni. Preferably cooking, music, plant and cat friendly... Includes laundry, wifi, TV, super friendly cat, a big sliding door cabinet thing, bar fridge, and some very chilled, excellent flatmates (that don't bring the party home very often,) and share the chores
The house is big, there's a lot of bamboo in the backyard, there is a backyard. It's ridiculously close to Sydney University, Newtown, Glebe, and has an amazing location once you work it out. The room is small, furnished, and could be described as 'cosy' by a real estate agent. Rent is $160p/w, bond is $600, and bills are split evenly. It's $12 a month for internet, and the electricity and gas come in every three months. Yes it's a private room, no, this is not a boarding house. Yes, that's the price. Looking for a girl, but would accept two girls sharing the room. It's weird, but things like that have happened before. Looking for that very rare human being that has a bit of balance between extremes. Not a complete neat freak who will have a panic attack if a coffee cup is left out, yet someone who actually understands they have to clean up after themselves. There's five people in the house who all cook at various times, so it's important to keep the kitchen clean. There's a reasonable amount of drinking that goes on in the backyard, so if you're teetotaller, this place is not for you. If you're a smash pingers every night 420 ayyy lamaoo, this place is not for you. So if you like a drink and can keep yourself under control, that'd be a bit better. We do smoke in the backyard, so if that's going to be a problem...well. Not looking for extreme political types of either variety. No foaming at the mouth SJWs screaming about the patriarchy, no hardcore right wing death beasts. We're all meat eaters in the house, so looking for compatible people with that. If you're interested in working out yet still enjoy a drink, read books, have a good taste in music and don't mind a bit of discussion with a bit more depth than "Ermergerd, tv show!" that would be a pretty big plus. Backpackers and travellers are okay, as long as you let me know how long you plan on staying for. The house is ridiculously well located to just about everything. Newtown is a five minute walk, Glebe about ten, shopping and transport are ridiculously close, and it's amazing for that. Decent sense of humour, robust personality, interests in working out, sci-fi, as well as good music, once again perferred. House is meat eating and heterosexual friendly. Anything else, send me a message and I'll let you know.

Someone working full-time who likes to keep busy, fit etc... who is friendly and warm-natured. The kind of girl I am looking to share the space with needs to have a friendly personality, not a party girl, someone mature and respectful. I am looking for someone who knows the importance of coming home to a 'home'.. to relax.. and is over or past the student party lifestyle but who also takes pride in keeping a house clean. You must be a non-smoker and someone who is able to pay rent on time, do their share of household cleaning/chores-likes to come home to a clean abode... If you would like to see photos of the house and room please text me or email me. The house has polished wooden floors throughout, an internal laundry, modern kitchen with gas, a good hot water system and charming little courtyard. The room is unfurnished. It is a shared bathroom but there are two toilets. There is on street parking and a lovely park across the road. The street is quiet but close to public transport, shops, bars and pubs.

Only for up to 2 months max sorry. Note: There is a vintage white secretary/bureau desk and chair in the room now, not seen in photos.
My house is a lovely renovated semi-detached terrace in a great area of Alexandria right next to Erskineville and bustling Newtown. There are many cafes and bars within walking distance so socialising close to home is easy. Public transport is close with a bus stop around the corner and Erskinveville train station a 7 minute. Alexandria has undergone a big transformation over the past 10 years and is a very popular suburb. My street is very quiet with wide tree lined streets around my area with lots of parks nearby including Sydney Park. My house is fully furnished with the room for rent downstairs which comes with a bathroom.
All bills included. Furnished. Own bedroom and balcony. This place is 10min walk from door to train door at Redfern Station (tested out by myself) A bit about myself, My name is Ronald I'm a professional engineer in the rail industry I am looking at getting someone who's clean, non smoker, friendly and easy going to share the 4 bedroom town house with myself, Emily and Neb. Preferably young full time workers professionals or students who plans to stay more than 12 months continuously. As there is already 2 males, myself and Neb in the place, I am looking for a female flatmate so that makes it more even. I'm an Australia born Chinese who speaks fluent english and cantonese(thanks to my granny who only speaks canto). I'm a very active person and i love all sort of sports eg. snowboard, basketball, wakeboarding, football, table tennis and more!!! I'm very sociable as well so I enjoy light drinking and chatting with my flatmates. At the same time I'd love my own space and time. So you may sometimes see me watching NBA and having a few beers alone in my room Please note that this is NOT A PARTY HOUSE I have a room available for rent(with a built in wardrobe and balcony) Emily who is a 2nd year fashion marketing student has taken Bedroom 2 and Neb who is also a professional engineer has taken Bedroom 1. So you will be in room 3 which is the largest room out of all once Alisha moves out end of this month. The living room will be equipped with a 60inch tv plus a 4 seater fabric sofa. There will be a no food in room and no shoes in house policy (just to keep the place tidy) so you will just have to share the 2.5 bathrooms, the kitchen and the living area. We are quite clean and don't leave dishes behind over night(or maybe once in a while you see a plate or glass in the sink overnight but nothing more than that) I am looking for singles to move in as I try not to crowd the place. Hello, I am a new PhD student at University of Sydney. I'm 28 years old. I have received University of Sydney International Scholarship to study PhD in communication engineering. I've done the master degree in USA after receiving a scholarship too. With that said, I am a totally academic person. However, I like to watch movies, play video games, and do different kinds of sports. I am looking for a shared place that is relatively not far from University of Sydney. On weekends, I like to have fun and experience special activities of Sydney, in order to recover from the hard study.
My name is Florant, I'm a French student who just arrived in Australia. I'm currently working as an material science engineer, but I'll start a PhD in october at the University of Sydney for three years. I've lived almost my whole life in the French Alps, so I'm very keen on any outdoor activities such as skiing (maybe not the most Aussie activity), climbing, hiking, and more recently slacklining. No worries though, I've studied in real cities, I know what internet and electricity are and how to behave with city people. I'm looking for a clean place with friendly people where I could live ideally until the end of my PhD. I'm a non-smoker male, but I love to drink a glass of wine or a fine beer from time to time. I'm easygoing and used to live with other people. I hope this short description is enough to convince you and that I fit your flatmate requirement. Cheers mate, Florant
Hi! I'm Nick, looking for a room/studio in Sydney! Currently living at Brighton Le Sands and looking for a place closer to the city :). I arrived here 4 months ago, I was planning to continue traveling after two weeks, but I liked it so much I decided to stay! The last two years I've been visiting all the seven new wonders of the world, and about 35 country's. And now its time for me to set base again. I work remotely for a company in The Netherlands, so I'm looking for a quiet place where I can also work from home. I don't smoke, I don't have pets and I like to clean (a clean house is actually very important to me :)). I hit the gym daily, go out for drinks and dinner, enjoy the movies, have fun at the beach and travel as much as I can. At the same time, I'm looking for a job opportunity in Sydney so I can stop working remotely and get work here. I'm not a big party goer, but I don't like to stay in all days as well. I'm quite active and like to go out and explore. I don't take life and myself to seriously, but I am a responsible person. Any more questions? Just ask :)
