Hi! I'm a 23 year old female looking for an awesome place to live in Sydney. I'm currently working and will also be beginning a masters degree this year after completing my undergraduate degree in Sydney. I'm a pretty neat and clean person, non-smoker, and don't have any pets (but would be fine with other people's little buddies). I'm fond of Netflix, swimming, chilling out, eating cheese, cooking, and going out my friends. I'm a fairly quiet person but would like to live with people I can hang out with occasionally. I'm not looking to share a room with others and definitely need my own space, however shared bathrooms with one or two other people are fine. Feel free to contact me if you have a place and just need an above-average housemate!
Looking for a place for myself and my Fiancee. Prefer room with ensuite.
I'm self-sufficient, self-employed, working from home while casually studying online courses. I earn passive income doing dropshipping and selling 3D printed products while working on crazy electronic inventions. Soon I'll be using mechanical arms to build electronics from scratch for a kickstarter I'm launching, so I'll be pretty busy most of the time. I have good rent history, I like keeping things clean, and usually keep to myself most of the time working away in my room.
Huge room with own balcony in spacious house, leafy street Massive bedroom available in a 4 bedroom townhouse in Redfern. It is a 10 minute walk to Redfern station and 5 minutes to Erskineville. It is also only a 10 minute walk to Newtown's cafes and shops The rent is $360 per week which includes all bills and internet (house has a huge TV, washing machine and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, ..). The room is very bright and quiet, it comes with a queen size comfy bed, two bedside tables, a table and a huge desk, that will eventually be replaced by a wardrobe (the owner wants to install one) but actually all of my clothes fitted in the bedside tables. The bathroom you'd use is on the same floor, that's shared with just one other housemate, it has a huge shower and is clean and nice. There is a nice courtyard out the back with a bbq and wooden seating area for summer along with some nice herbs to use for cooking. You would live with 3 other people who want to make this house a home and enjoy having a chat here and there but also respect each others space. If you are interested please PM me with a bit about yourself, when you would be available to move in and when you would like to see the place.
I'm an easy going guy who's moving to Sydney to work for the next 6+ months, I already have a job waiting on arrival. I don't mind a chat and can just as easily entertain myself. Looking for fun easy going people to share a place with.
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney who's ready to leave the nest that is student accommodation! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. I'm vegan, but not the annoying kind (yes, we exist!). If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Hello :) We are a Korean and Australian couple, offering the second bedroom with its own bathroom and balcony for rent. The room is unfurnished but has a built in wardrobe and the common areas are fully furnished. We have a spacious living area with a big courtyard, which is great for a summer BBQ session with friends. Everyone has to contribute for the general maintenance of the house but a cleaner comes in every fortnight to do the extra work. The apartment is conveniently located 10~15 minutes walking distance from Redfern and Erskineville Stations and there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bottle shops all within a 15-minute walk. Feel free to contact us for any questions or to arrange an inspection! (Please note that the apartment is currently undergoing renovation and there is scaffolding in the room balcony as seen in photos.)
Hey, I am an easy-going student (postgraduate) from Freiburg Germany in my last year (Environmental Sciences). From 24th of February I am coming to Sydney for an internship at the University of Sydney. On 1st of May I'll leave for New Zealand. I am looking for a small, private room, as I'll be at Uni most of the time. I like to do sports, cook or just have a glass of beer/wine in good company. I've been living in flatshares the last six years, so that's not new for me. If there are any pets in the flat, that's fine for me. Also I lived in Sydney during my undergraduated studies in 2014. Simon
My name's Tess, I'm a Speech Pathologist originally from Melbourne, but have been calling Sydney home for a year and a half now! I'm a pretty relaxed person to live with; don't fuss over the small stuff, I'm neat and great with a vacuum! Always happy to chill and do my own thing, but equally happy to sit back with a g&t and have a good chat!
Hi there! I'm 30 years old, female, easy-going, non-smoker who has been a working professional for the last 7 years with some travel mixed in there. I am returning to full time study this year for a career change from engineering into health. I will also be working part time so my hours will probably be 9-5ish Monday to Friday. When not working I love playing netball, a good dance class, going to the beach and catching up with friends and family. In my downtime you might find me reading or in front of a good movie. I like to keep the place clean and tidy and treat it like a home and I am considerate and respectful of others. Keen to be part of a house where we can be social when we get the chance - always up for a chat and a good laugh or getting out and about together. I will definitely try to drag you to some pub trivia! I am flexible with the moving in date but would prefer before the first week of March. If this sounds like it would suit you please drop me a message! Cheers, Alice.
Hello !! My name is Claire and I am a French student who is about to start an internship as an engineer in Sydney ! I am going to work to the Australian Technology park, that's why I am looking for something close to it. I am looking for flatemates to share great moments in Australia, and why not to travel with me, because I am planning to travel a lot during my free time ! I think I am nice to live with, I am tidy and clean and I respect each one's personnal space. And I also like to hang out with friends, share a good meal and great moments :) I speak good French and English, quite good Spanish and I know some Japanese. Please feel free to contact me if you have some place to rent ! See you soon ! Claire
Hello! My name is Alana and I'm 24, working full time as a graphic designer. I like to keep mostly to myself during the week and love to socialise more on the weekend over a glass. I am clean and respectful, and hoping to make some new friends along the way! I have been living out of home since I was 18, so I am very familiar with house responsibilities (cleaning rosters, etc). If you think I cold be a nice fit into your home, please message me :) Kindest, Alana. x
I'm a well-balanced human with plenty to share.. I absolutely love being amongst great company yet just as equally love my own space/time. I work in Project Management with an education in Architecture - not to mention a colourful set of experiences along the way. I'm super respectful of people, their personal space and property. I'm genuine and open minded as I like to make a point of not judging people for who they are (I don't do drama very well). I aim to live a holistically healthy lifestyle by eating well and keeping active both mentally and physically. I don't watch TV (only movies) and tend do it in my own space if I do (I'd prefer to bond over dinner and drinks than sitting in front of the box). I love my music (although some would question my song choices) and like to hear it in the background but am fine with headphones when it needs to be done. Triple J is a fav. I like to keep spaces clean and am pretty tidy. I tend to have a minimalist mindset (it's a process) so I'm mindful of what I bring into my house. I don't mind sharing a bathroom as long as there's a powerpoint for my electronic toothbrush (yes I'm one of those people but not really if you know what I'm saying?). I think I'm heaps of fun to be around and have a positive attitude to life (lolz all round) and I steer clear of passive-agressiveness - communication is mucho importante! I come with a tiny dog (Louis the long-haired Chihuahua) who can be FOMO at times but is always great company (let's just say that everyone thinks he's the cutest little nugget). He doesn't shed and doesn't have a doggy odour about him. I'm happy for others to interact with him as much as they want. I also don't expect anybody to take care of him (food, cleaning, etc.) so no need to worry about that. He spends a lot of time with his grandparents, especially during the week. Check me out/contact me on IG: etndbs Peace.

Tina works in Financial services Monday to Friday, out at 8am and back 6pm , then to the gym or some sport. Paul is a musician and works from home during the weekdays and he is out on gigs from mid week nights through to weekends. WE HAVE AN INDOOR DOG We also have a small well behaved maltese Pomeranian named Miss Sochu McPoo who lives inside, doesn't bark and will greet you like you are her best friend. We would prefer someone who loves having a dog around. Can you spot her in one of the pictures ? :) We live active, busy lifestyle, health conscious and love adventure travelling. We like snowboarding, scuba diving and anything that involves being outdoors, or healthy eating and drinking wine /vodka (always in moderation). Tina is also into dragon boat racing. We have enjoyed having different housemates of all ages share the house with us. Our home is your home. The house is generally quiet . You will have Paul's singing practice and guitar practice going on during day time hours. The only other thing you may hear would be the pitter patter of Sochu's (our dog) feet on the wooden floors. We generally cook dinner on the week days after the gym so it is usually late around 8pm. We would love to share some meals from time to time with our housemate, have wine and a chat , its a great way to connect. We generally do not cook any meat but we are not vegetarian. Weekends, Paul is out on gigs, while Tina is usually out and about. Week nights we like to watch a documentary or a movie, we don't have the TV connected. We usually find something that everyone would like to watch or take turns choosing. OUR IDEAL HOUSEMATE We would love to become friends with you so some common interests would make it easier. Having said that it doesn't have to be a deal breaker. It is an ideal. You are responsible and clean up after yourself. You are balanced between sociable and home body. Not into loud parties , loud music but not a stay at home person all the time. You love animals and especially dogs You like a reasonably clean and tidy environment but not a total neat OCD freak. SOME OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF With regards to cleaning, we have a cleaner come every fortnight to do the floors, and bathrooms. You just need to clean after yourself when using the kitchen. We go away about 2-3 weeks every 6 months and we are looking for a flatmate who is happy to look after our dog in our absence. There is not much to it, give her a walk a day and put food out. She will follow you around and loves getting pats. We would negotiate a tradeoff in rent where it is extended period of a week or more. Please get in contact, and we can provide more information or if you want to make a time to come over and have a chat and see the place.

Moving to Sydney in February from Melbourne and starting work in finance. I like sport (AFL coming from Melbourne but keen to learn about this rugby thing) and outdoor activities (hiking, camping or whatever). I'm not a big party person but always down for a few social beers! Looking for a fun house with other young professionals who like to spend time together and not locked away in their room. I've lived out of home since I was 18 so know how to be clean and respectful in a shared house.
Three very easy going group of people. Our group contain one couple and one single male. We are all looking to stay in Sydney whilst working in full time employment. Enjoy spending days at the beach relaxing, going to the gym, playing sports and nights out at the weekends. We have all lived together in Australia before so know the values of a clean house.
Hi guys,I'm Jessie. I'm an international student of electrical engineering of Sydney uni. I'm looking for somewhere to stay around my uni within a walking distance in early March. I've already lived in Sydney for half a year and I would like to stay in a private room, but I don't mind share bathroom with others. I'm clean and tidy and easygoing. I really love cooking and i'm good at cooking Chinese food. I'd love to share food with roommates if you want. Also I'm a non-smoker so I hope I can stay in a no-smoking area. Send me a message if you have anything that sounds suitable!
Hi everyone! I'm coming to Sydney to do an exchange semester at UTS. I'm currently in the first year of my masters. I'm looking for a place with a chill vibe, preferably in the city or somewhere with good communication. I'd prefer a private room but for the right apartment/flatmates I'd be up for sharing a room. I'm super chill and easy going. I like trying new places, traveling, working out as well as going out. I'm used to living alone as well as having roommates so cleanliness and respecting privacy is no problem. I want roommates who want to hangout during the weekends at the beach, grab a bite to eat or drink and just explore Sydney (and hopefully other places) together. If it sounds interesting, feel free to message me to either team up and a find a new place together or if you already have a place where you think I'd fit in :)
I'm Libby, I'm 25 and I'm currently studying post-grad psychology after having had a stint in marketing. I currently work 3 days at a psychology clinic. I really love to travel and try to get back to Europe once a year if I can, with a particular fondness for Scandinavia. I like to go to a gig or two occasionally but also have nights when I chill out at home with a glass of wine and Gilmore Girls. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful of others' privacy but ideally would love to be in a house which catches up occasionally for drinks or dinner.
I'm a Swiss master degree student at University of Sydney. As an experienced house-/flatmate I offer terrible jokes and Swiss chocolate every now and then. I've also encountered one or the other cleaning product and know how to utilize them.
Hey Everyone, My name is Nicolas, I am 24 years old and I'm from France. I have been in Sydney for 2 years on a working holiday visa, but now I'm studying and working as a landscaper on a student visa for the next year or so, and I'm looking for a new place to live. I am clean, tidy, respectful, and easy-going. I like to have a drink with mates and share dinners as well. I am ready to move in ASAP.
