Our house is a cosy little Queenslander across the road from the Brisbane River. It is in walking distance to UQ and the bus stop across the road goes straight to Southbank/CBD/Fortitude Valley. We are super close to a supermarket, chemist, petrol station, library, doctor, gym ... everything is close! Your bedroom has a ceiling fan, large built in wardrobes and fits a double or queen bed easily. The house is fully furnished but any little additions will be most welcome! Particularly if it is in the form of a lawn mower. We would love you forever. We have a big backyard and a great deck for winding down or having gatherings. We also have a shed out the back for bikes/storage. We currently have 2 cars in the carport so an additional car would mean we can swap car spaces between the street and the carport. The street is super safe and we have lovely neighbours too!

This awesome big blue house sits next to Dutton Park in the suburb of Fairfield. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, it is surrounded by a number of nice parks, is close to the shops (Fairfield Gardens - Coles, bakery, pharmacy, bottle shops, etc.) and is a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute ride) from the University of Queensland. It's also close to a number of convenient bus stops which can quickly get you to West End, The Cultural Centre and the city. The house has a nice large deck which is perfect for keeping cool in Summer. The room I'm renting is upstairs, gets a nice breeze and has a leafy outlook. The room has timber floors, blinds and I'm flexible with 4 pieces of furniture (desk, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers). I'm renting this room from the 25th of November to the 16th of February. These dates are somewhat flexible so do send me a message if you'd like to ask about alternatives.
