Hi there! My name's Paul: I'm a well-balanced, tertiary-educated guy with a naturalistic world view and a burning desire to make a positive difference in the world. I'm great to live with for several reasons, but most importantly because I give a damn about the people I cohabit with: I'm clean, tidy, quiet and respectful, and I'll treat you like my best friend if you treat me the same way. I'm 33 years old, currently studying full-time at UQ, and I work casually in a teaching lab at the same university. I'm Brisbane-raised, so I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, but I also love to read, and will occasionally lose myself in a decent Netflix series. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to ask; I'm a pretty easy-going guy, so you're likely to get an answer regardless of the question. :-)
Hey! I'm looking for a place to live for 4 months near UQ while I work full time. I'm looking for a non-smoking place to live with a private room that is furnished and contains a desk (ideally) that I can work at. I'm clean, quiet, friendly, and easy going and always down for hiking adventures or exploring Brisbane.

American PhD student starting at UQ, been living in South Africa for the past 4 years. Nature/ocean nerd, love to surf and rock climb, don't mind doing dishes. Clean but not quite a neat freak, no particularly weird habits except I live off eggs and toast because I'm a terrible cook. I'm semi-veggie, big on recycling and composting but not militant about it, so if you eat lots of meat out of plastic packaging I won't judge you. Very much.
This house is in the beautiful location of Fairfield. Surrounded by parks and trees, the house is close to south bank and the city, with a bus stop right across the street and Dutton park train station just up the road. Close to shops with Fairfield Gardens shopping centre (Coles, 7/11, bws) 2 minutes up the road! Really easy to get to UQ especially, and easy transport to other unis. The room up for grabs has double aspect windows with a view out into the enormous back yard. Also has a bed, wardrobe and some shelves included. Common areas include the kitchen, lounge room, bathroom and huge space under the house, perfect for having friends over 🎉

This lovely house has been my home for the last 2 years, and I have loved every bit of it! Three rooms are currently available for rent, with one larger room suitable for couples (210$) and the other two suitable for one person. We are only looking to fill two of the rooms but anyone can apply, students are welcome at this property, including internationals. You will find that your room will have everything you may need, and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils so its perfect for someone moving out of home or another share house. Hi folks! My name is Simon and I'm looking to rent a room on a short-term basis from early April until the end of May (I can be flexible with the exact dates if need be). I'm a friendly, considerate, non-smoking 36 year old professional (and online student!) who is about to move overseas to start my own business. I do a bit of driving for Uber in the evenings too, so I'll need a place to park my car (street parking is fine). I speak a few languages and am happy living in a multicultural house or apartment. I don't have any pets but I'm happy to live with people who do. If you have a bbq at your place I'm very happy to cook you up something awesome as well :-) I'm looking for something within a 10-15min drive of the CBD but I can be a bit flexible with that - my budget could be a little flexible for the right type of place too. I'll consider all types of accommodation as long as I have my own private room. Looking for a welcoming environment with no messy slobs or unnaturally obsessive neat-freaks; just nice, normal people. Happy to consider house-sitting as well. Hope to hear from you :-)
I am 23 and from India, would be studying at the University of Queensland from April 2017. I will be mostly at the uni doing my work and you can have the room to yourself most of the day. At other times I am fun to be with..! Witty and wise crack jokes are going to be a regular thing. I like to be tidy and keep things clean. I am pretty social and adaptable. I generally prefer to keep to my own but once I get along with someone I may talk a lot. My friends would describe me as cheerful and happy go lucky , so if you have any worries , you can share them with me and I can lighten your mood. I am looking for someone who is clean tidy and friendly. I would like to have a private room (preferably with ensuite) for my permanent stay. P.S: I am currently also looking for a temporary place to stay for my initial 1-2months in Brisbane. So if you have a room or would be interested in looking apartments together just drop a message.
