I compliment an easy-going housemate dynamic. for the past 18 months I've shared a great home with 2 amazing guys but it's time to look ahead and find someplace new. I am quite content with my own company and have interests from social dancing to cooking fresh food, to binging on movies and occasionally getting out & reconnecting with nature in the great outdoors. I love having people's company but I also enjoy just chilling out and keeping it pretty low-key. I value respectful co-living habits but pretty much get along by being relaxed, funny (occasionally) and being open-minded. I should add that my preference would be living in a non smoking household.
Hi guys, I'm looking to relocate from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane, I'll be looking for a place to call home in the coming month or so. I'm super laid back and quiet so I like my own space however I am very sociable and do love to go out and unwind. Please don't hesitate to contact me! I look forward to meeting you ☺️
Aloha! We, Nora and Marius, we are both Master students from Berlin, and are looking for a place to stay for the next two months. We are both very open minded and are looking for lovely flatmates as we enjoy cooking and good conversations. Let's talk about us: I'm Marius, 26, and am currently working at UQ in a research project. I'm into climbing, hiking and I enjoy outdoor sports such as beach volleyball, biking and surfing. I really like photography and want to get more into videography as well. I have a strong interest in nature and traveling and am looking forward to meet great people. I'm Nora, 25, and a literature student. I'm into modern literature as well as photography. I started climbing in Australia and hope to get a little more practice while I'm here. I want to get more into yoga again and explore as much as I can. We are curious to meet you, so please get in touch :)

Hi, I'm a UQ student looking for accommodation in November. I've been on a lease at the same place for 3 years so I know how to look after a place! -Internet access required (Fibre a plus) -Furnished prefered -Close to UQ St. Lucia Campus -Am studying B.A of Science - I am quite and am usually on my computer in my room or playing my xbox. I'm still sociable though! -I like to live in a clean and tidy space and respect my living space
Hi! My name is Kieran and… IN SHORT I’M: - Single / Straight / Mature (obviously) / Non-Smoking 36 Year Old with a Positive Outlook on Life. - I’m neat and tidy without being obsessed (who would admit to being not?) - I'm looking to share a place with one (ideally) or two others. The only exception to this is if the place is very special! SORRY NO COUPLES PLEASE. - EXTREMELY reliable. Rent and bills will always be paid on time or in advance. I will supply you with references from my current landlord and previous landlords (if required). - I’m on the Disability Support Pension currently (DSP) as I have Bipolar but please read on… *** I’m not one to sit around doing nothing. I actually get up at 5am during the week (as quiet as a mouse of course) and head to the gym. I have previously done freelancing work in online marketing and writing but took a break for a while and just resuming now. I have two of my own websites which I can show you. The only concern for you should be is that I have more than enough money (which I do) to pay rent and bills on time and that I am perfectly stable (which I am). It’s not a big deal really having something like Bipolar as there are people homeless and people without access to clean water in certain countries. It’s all about Gratitude! Any more questions just ask me.*** - 100% Without a Doubt Looking to Live somewhere for at Least the Next 12 months (probably Longer) and I am more than happy to Sign a/the Lease. - Calm, Relaxed and Laid-Back Individual. Yes that's right. I am the complete opposite of someone that is highly strung. That's what you want right? I seek likewise. And no that doesn't mean we can't hold an intelligent conversation ;) - I want to move sooner rather than later but I'm in no rush. I'm not on a lease currently and can move whenever (and I mean the exact day/date that works for you!). I'm very open on suburbs… All COMES DOWN TOO: 1) The Place (definitely prefer bright, open and spacious), and 2) The Area (i.e. what's close to there like gym/s, parks, cafes, shops etc.). PLEASE NOTE: It's very important to point out at this stage that I will not have a car for the next 6 months at least. I currently share a car with my sister but she is taking it. Therefore a gym (1) public transport (2) and shops (3) should all be within 15 minutes walking distance (absolute max)....yes numbering in that order priority too probably. I don’t care so much about the shops (although it would be nice) as I can get groceries delivered. And The Absolute Must... DEFINITELY NEED AIR CON: I definitely need air con in my bedroom as I've already been through two summers without. I actually much prefer the cold but I like what Brisbane has to offer otherwise. FURNITURE: I'm ideally looking for somewhere fully furnished apart from the bedroom. I have a medium size desk and can buy the rest of the stuff. If it's already furnished then that's a bonus. BEDROOM SIZE: I definitely need a bedroom of reasonable size. Hoping to fit a queen bed, desk and a whiteboard for my work. Don't worry the whiteboard will only be attached to the wall by Velcro. BIT ABOUT ME: - I like the gym (first thing in the morning), living a healthy lifestyle (most of the time) walks (near the water if I can), tennis (now and again), football (on TV), admiring nature (whenever I can), travelling (every so often) reading (daily and before bed), writing (for work and pleasure), self-improvement (generally), online marketing (work), restaurants (many), socialising (mainly on weekends) and coffee (in small doses). - I'm a social/friendly person but I'm definitely more on the quiet side. I'm not big on TV (in one place I didn't even own a TV lol) at all so don't expect me to join you on the couch watching it. I don't mind the news and a bit of sport though. I just find you learn more by reading. - I do all of my socialising with friends outside of the flat/property but I 100% don't mind if you have people over. I'm not one for dinner parties but go for it!! - I'm not a vegetarian. I cook my own meals as have my own diet I need to follow. Of course there may be a time where a meal or take-away could be shared. - I'm a clean and tidy person and expect likewise. - I'm straight and single currently - I'm open to living with people of all cultures and sexuality. - I have lived and worked in Sydney (4 years) London (5 years) and Melbourne (3 years) previously. The main thing I am seeking in a flatmate is laid back qualities. If this is you then we are a flatmate match potentially. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Kieran
Hi, I'm Tj. I am a student studying at QUT in the creative area. I am a musician and love to chill out and listen to music on the weekend. I also have a love for anime and books. Pretty quiet, considerate and clean person and also very busy so would be in and out. Looking for people who wouldn't mind me having guests/my partner over occasionally and would respect my need for space and a generally quiet household (particularly during the week, don't care as much on weekends). Prefer bills included up to $160 but would consider without if rent was low enough to allow the cost of bills. Don't mind living with guys or girls. Thanks
Clean, respectful and easy going. note- 6 months is selected as a minimal time frame :)
Room fully furnished with double bed, study desk and chair, fan, and everything you need to move in. Ready to move in around 7th May. Conveniently located near shopping centre and UQ. - 2-minute walk to Fairfield Gardens, shopping centre with everything you need - Coles, bws, gym, bakery, cafes and restaurants. - 1 minute to bus stop 196 to City and UQ bridge - close to train station - less than 10-minute bike ride to UQ Rent is $143.33 per week excluding bills. It is a really great value for the room and location. I'm moving out because I'm leaving Australia, otherwise I'd stay here long-term! Message me at https://www.facebook.com/peeranee.suparak
Changed my mind, not looking right now I am looking to settle in Brisbane for a while because this is where my much adored niece is based. I have a housetrained desexed cat, goes by the name of Pixie or hey you. The cat is unfortunately not other cat or dog friendly, she had some bad experiences when young and as a result does not play well with others. I how ever am well used to sharing, cleaning up after myself and paying my bills on time. I have some furniture, kitchen stuff and some electrics. Not a smoker, big drinker or death metal singer-along-with-at 2am -er. Looking for like minded non Trump supporters to make a home with. Any extra info I am happy to share, but feel that some actual human interaction i.e. ph or face to face, would be more illuminating. Thanks for your time :) P.S I am a hetero female who couldn't care less who or what floats your boat, provided adult consent is involved :)
I'm a PhD student at the UQDI. I'm easy going and clean. I'm Brazilian and I enjoy cooking, dancing and also chilling with friends.
I'm very considerate of my surroundings and the people I live with. I work part time from home as a screen composer and also as a waiter. I'm social and always up for a chat but very respectful of other people's space.
I'm super chilled yet punctual with bills on top of my chores, I'm independent and a skater/museo. Keen for a beer? Your shout!, Ha ha, just kidding.
Hi my name is Hannah and I'm looking for a new fun place to live! I'm a nurse that works full time in south bank- loves to relax and have a wine when I'm not at work and enjoy spending time exploring and travelling! I work long days and regularly spend time with friends up the coast on my days off! Very outgoing, independent and fun, although I keep fairly quiet when I'm working :) Looking for somewhere fairly close to work and cafes! ** move date is flexible and possibly longer rental period
My name is Jamie and I'm 22, I'm currently living in NSW but will be relocating to Brisbane in mid June for study purposes. I will be studying at Griffith Uni Nathan campus. I'm working full time at the moment and I plan to be working part-time or casual while studying. I like my own space so I won't be in your hair or much of a bother. I'm polite, respectful of others spaces, privacy and lifestyles and I like to keep a clean space. I'm after a furnished room (bed + study desk would be ideal) in a share house though I'm also interested in team ups and unfurnished rooms. A place where I could stay long term (1 or more years) would be preferable. I'd like to have a place close by public transport. I love animals so rooms in a house with pets would be no issue to me but I myself don't have any pets. I also enjoy socializing and wouldn't mind having a chat and hanging out with other flatmates but I'm also fine with keeping to myself if that is preferable. My approximate moving date is June 16th. I will be out of the country from April 28th to May 22nd so I just wanted to get on top of things.
