This is the first time moving out of home and iam really excited lol. Iv got my own queen size bed, a tv and stand and a small toy boy. That's why i would prefer to start up my own sharehouse or move in to a vacant room because iv got no place to put my stuff. Iam pretty chilled, layed back and easy going and i got a good sense of humor. I don't mind a good chat or a giggle ether ehehe. I also love my music so you can turn it up anytime you like but when it's quiet time it goes down lol. if you do have issues with each other it's better to talk them out and resolve it before it becomes a huge problem. On the weekends i don't mind a drink or 2 or even stepping outta the house. Iam up for anything really even just watching TV or movies and having a laugh. During the week for me is work and gym. So nothing exciting really. Also when its warm i love being outside and catching some rays when i have time. Going for walks or runs is always good for ya. Iam independent and Iam very clean. So that means i don't like a dirty house. I would prefer if everyone pitches in to do there part to keep the house clean. If you make a mess ether in the bathroom or the kitchen it's not hard just clean it. I like to do a little cooking but just the basics like rice, pasta, chicken and a good breakfast like eggs and protein pancakes. I always buy my own food coz i do eat alot. if you can cook and chip in the kitchen that would be a bonus. Plus your more than welcome to pitch in for the groceries. Plus when the bills come i prefer to pay them straight away just because i don't like bills piling up. Iam into bodybuilding so usually after work ill come home have a bite to eat then iam of to the gym. So if your into your fitness and you wanna train your more than welcome to join me for a workout. I do like to food bing on the weekends or on the odd occasion during the week if i can't be bothered cooking. I also need to add that i love chocolate and have a sweet tooth so there will be a bit of chocolate in the pantry ahaha. In regards if your a smoker. I don't mind you smoking it's your health but you will be going outside coz there will be no smoking in the house. If you have a dog you can bring it with you. Iam a dog lover myself and be more than happy to walk it and play with it. If we start i own place up i would prefer to live with 3 people including myself and the age group would be between 25 and 30. I would prefer if they were female because i tend to get along with them better. I work full time during the day so i prefer people that worked full time or part time. Or i don't mind if your studying. Anyways enough off me rumbling on i don't want to bore you any longer. If you like what you read than hit me up and we can arrange meeting and discuss it further. Iam ready to move out asap so let me know when your ready.
Hi, My name is Ellie and I work full time as a forensic outreach worker. I have weekends off so I'll usually head out of town to see my family. I'm a very reasonable person with a positive attitude. I enjoy a good laugh and try not to take life too seriously - although I will always ensure I clean up after myself and contribute to house maintenance such as dusting, taking out the bins, gardening etc. I love to keep my home looking it's best! I'm always down for a chat but will respect your space if you prefer to be alone :) Love to cook and be outdoors.
Easy going individual, enjoy a good laugh. Clean responsible adult looking for a room. In the process of selling my jointly owned property. Just waiting for a buyer. Family is heading out to melton. Not my cup of tea lol nothing against melton , my life is here in northern suburbs, thomastown etc. Trying to kick start my life again, never shared accommodation before except for my brothers and sister lol. Currently looking for a room with bills included and wifi , can't survive without that true? Lool If anyone is interested in getting a whole house split halfway. , im interested also. I work full-time as a storeman and i love my job. Anything from a quiet night in with dvd and popcorn to a night out in town with some friends to a nice meal out somewhere never been before. I enjoy a chat as well as time alone. I'm not sure what else to say, oh i don't have Facebook (lil bit old school lol) any twitter thing lol so i can't verify my account. Anything else just ask.
This is a room in a beautiful townhouse that you will be sharing with me. I have fully furnished the place with nice furniture. Its a brand new property. The rent is $ 250 including all bills:) Heaps of off street parking. There is air conditioning in the living area, a TV, great lounge to relax on and a nice dinning table. A fridge, washing machine and a dishwasher are included as well :) The room itself has a double sized bed and a reasonable sized wardrobe. Internet is not installed yet, but is in the process... The property is 5 mins walk from Gowrie train station.
Hey, Hope you are well. My name is Asad and I have moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work purposes. I am 29 years Quality assurance officer and will be working there in Tullamarine area. Pretty clean and tidy easy going guy. Been living in Sydney from past 8 years. Moving down for work. Good cook and really enjoy nice and clean house plus decent company. I am a Professional who works in the city. Very easy going and friendly. I spend alot of my time at my girlfriends house and I am away most weekends. I have two children Boy 3yrs and Girl 7yrs who I look after every other weekend. My kids are very well behaved and very friendly. Im originally from Toronto Canada with Filipino heritage. I am very well travelled. In my spare time I like to read, meditate and play the acoustic guitar. I am a very clean person and I am also happy to organize and pay for professional cleaners to come in once a month. I look forward to hearing from you.
Very vintage little house in the heart of Fawkner, right on Sydney Rd. The house itself is straight out of the 60's, it's a small 2 bedroom with a bungalow out the back, there's beautiful and colourful gardens in the front and back yard and there is also easy off street parking behind a locked gate. Easy walking distance from Fawkner train station and also close to buses and trams, supermarkets and shopping centres are all within a 5 minute drive and easy to get to by public transport as well. Currently I have the basic furnishings in the house but I don't have a washer or a dryer, the oven in the house is also the original 60's unit that still works but definitely isn't flashy. Overall it's a quirky little old place that has plenty of character!
Hi all. My name is Jenny and I am a nurse working PT 8/shifts a fortnight. I don't work night shifts so that's a bonus! I like to keep myself tidy and respect the space I am in. I enjoy chatting and helping people yet will always respect your privacy and space. I also enjoy lifting weights and once I find a good gym nearby I will also probably be there a lot. I do like to just be out and about on my days off. I'm pretty quiet generally and thus would prefer a non-party home. ☺️👍 I'm looking for a room with an own bathroom, furnished preferably but if unfurnished it's ok also. Thanks 😊
Honestly, I love this house and I'll be sad to have to leave as I am headed to Queensland for job opportunities. The house is terrific and full of character. It has a gorgeous lounge and this really cool, odd poet light in the corner of the room for when you and your friends want to pretend they're up on stage. There is enough room for pretty much 4 cars to park in the drive-in. And the sun shines really nicely into the house offering super flattering light. Additionally, there is an oval just around the corner which is good for exercising and a pizza place also around the corner which is good for doing the opposite. I'll miss it here.
I'm Brittany, a 20 year old female looking to move in with some fun loving people around my age (male or female). I have two jobs, one working at a trampoline centre and the other at a animal facility. I'm currently studying at Latrobe University so I am constantly out and about however always keen on a bit of household drinking, banter and the occasional harry potter marathon. Originally from Geelong, I've lived in Melbourne for two years and moving out of student accommodation at Latrobe Uni next month. Looking to move in somewhere early November. I come with furniture and a large appreciation for Disney movies. Keen on anything around 6-12 months.
Work for Aust Post and also manage a DJ which keeps me busy so yes I like electronic music! Clean, neat and tidy and spend some time oversea's and interstate so want a quiet place to come home to. I have a car, no pets but love cats and dogs. AFL fanatic as well as a long suffering Tiger supporter. Move date is flexible and will wait until I find the right fit as I want a long term arrangement. I have my own furniture so unfurnished is preferred with own bathroom. I would like long term with flexibility.
Spacious kitchen and living area, large green backyard with hills hoist, storage space (in the house plus 2 separate sheds), cable internet, all amenities. Gas heating, air-conditioner, dishwasher, laundry with second toilet and a shared bathroom. Bedroom includes built-in robe, additional wardrobe, a double bed with beddings and pillow. A drawer chest and a laptop table are also available. Close to bus stop to Sydney Road & Fawkner station. Looking for a mature female who takes care of herself and her environment. Must be kind to animals and comfortable with a house cat, however we cannot have another cat, as they won't get along. Mature students are welcome. My cat goes for walks / toilet outside mostly, stays indoors most of the time, very clean, no smell in the house.
Fairly new double storey house, spacious with large communal areas and is kept clean. Quiet and safe location, close to Fawkner primary school. Coburg market is a 5-6min drive, Fawkner train station is a couple minutes away, or a 12-13min walk. The bus stop is a 2-3mins walk away.
My name is Matty and I work as both a professional drummer and as a scientist. I am looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new one with a garage for my music gear and practice. Being a professional drummer that is chasing a goal of being largely successful I am in need a garage (ideally unattached from the house) to accommodate my practice. I Only practice until approximately 9pm of an evening (I get home from work at 6) and I don't ever start before midday on the weekends, keeping in mind too that I regularly have rehearsals and gigs and things so it doesn't happen at full volume every day but as regularly as I can fit it in which ends up being about 3 times per week - so not really much at all. Personality wise I am, friendly, approachable, confident, logical, dedicated and love meeting new people and being social (when I have time for it). I have lived in several share houses over the last 8 years and have no problem adapting to new environments and personalities. I love a good chat and I love people. I am an avid musician and get into the footy a little bit (I grew up in the country, I'm sorry :P ). I also try to hit up the gym a few times a week. I'm clean and very much want the people I live with to be clean and tidy.. my room is usually out of control, but everywhere else in the house is always tidy and clean. As I mentioned, I am very much working towards developing a successful musical career, so moving into a place that I can set my drumming up in a garage is on the top of my priority list, followed immediately by having awesome housemates! Ideally it would be great to have housemates that can I get along well enough with to have a beer and go out for a meal but that also have their own independent lives going on. Between working full-time, rehearsing, touring and performing, I go between being home most nights to being out or away for (seemingly) weeks at a time. I have "done my time" so to speak, in uni party houses and have outgrown such living circumstances, thus, I am clean and tidy and respectful of the need to keep the place that way. This doesn't mean I don't love a party, which I do, but, am just looking for reasonable common sense/courteous type people, and also having a kitchen that I am not afraid to cook in! Also - I will be overseas in Central America and California from late September until early November - thus, I'm looking for somewhere to move in the first 2 weeks of November for at least 1 year.
I'm looking to team up, females only please. I'm friendly and easy going, looking to share a place with another female of similar age (late 20's or thirties). I am not looking at going into a pre-established household. I am looking at moving into a place of my (and your) own, not into somebody else's home. Teaming up and going into a place together is what I am seeking, as I've had experience moving into others' houses, and it hasn't felt like my home. "My house, my rules" is not what I'm seeking. I'd like to share with someone friendly who likes to chat, but who also likes their own space. Ideally I'd like to share with one other female, maybe two. I have my own bedroom belongings, kitchenware, and tv/cabinet. I like living in a neat and tidy environment, so would like to share with someone who also likes a clean and tidy environment, as well as a relaxed environment. I'm looking somewhere preferably along the Sydney Rd strip/Upfield train line, ideally Coburg region, reasonably close to a train station (within walking distance). I would prefer to share a house that has a bit of breathing space. I like a house with good natural lighting, and a comfortable sized bedroom. An added bonus would be somewhere with a bit of a backyard & front yard. I drive a car, so also seeking off street parking. I like to go to the gym and live a healthy lifestyle, enjoy getting out on weekends as well as quiet days in front of the tv. I love watching tennis and am an avid lover of anything from the 80's.
Hey Girls I am a full time student completing a Diploma of Beauty Therapy! I nanny part time and also have my own small spray tanning business. Very Laid back and down to earth, I love my down town, but love to socialise also. I can be very fussy when it comes to house work, I love a clean House! I love lazy days watching movies, but also love to get out and about catching up with friends and family, and try to exercise at least three times a week. Ideally I would love to find someone willing to team up and start our own sharehouse, that way we go in at the same time and its not my house or yours its ours! feel free to message anytime :)
We are a tidy, creative, vegan/vegetarian couple (but don't mind if you aren't), easy-going & reliable people. We're back in Australia to visit family & to organise our move to Europe. I'm Australian & Johnny is Canadian. I'm a trained primary school teacher as well as a soul/RnB/blues recording artist/multi-instrumentalist & Johnny is a guitar/bass guy & web designer :) Got kids or pets? I'm happy to help out here and there too! Cleaning? I have worked for professional cleaning companies. We don't drink or party much these days, but don't mind if you do as we generally go to bed late (although as a sub teacher, I probably won't be!). I am well-traveled having lived in SE Asia, the US & Canada the last few years & visiting Europe, the Middle East & Africa, so I like to think I'm pretty open-minded & easy to get along with. Thanks for reading, and we hope to meet you soon!
We are an easy going couple and we are friendly. I (Peter) am a Social Work (Master's) student at RMIT and I am also a carer in the aged care and disability industry. I am full time driver and my wife is a physiotherapist by profession. We are looking a house at an affordable cost and close to city. Currently we are living in northern suburb. We are from India and settled in Australia permanently. We like watching television and outing.

Someone who is quiet and keeps to themselves. We have a dog and a cat and a fish tank. Must get along well with others and no drama or bs. No couples please
This townhouse is brand new and very modern with modern furnishings. The area is exceptionally quiet!! The only sounds heard is birds and wind in the surrounding trees. Very close to public transport (5 min walk to bus and 10 min walk to train), only 15 mins from the Airport and approx 30mins to the CBD. The room currently has a queen bed (however this may be removed) and clothing storage. Heating and aircon available, as well as internet, Netflix and Stan. There's several Gyms nearby too, as well as a 24 hour bakery and supermarket. I am seeking a female who is of sensible nature and respectful and courteous. You are welcome to have guests. There is a large outdoor area, equipped with a BBQ for use at any time. In addition to all this, there are 2 affectionate cats in residence.
A modern and sunny 2 bedroom, 2-storey terrace in a great location, only 5 minutes walk to buses, trains and a supermarket. The house is in a quiet street and features; polished floors, high ceilings, open plan lounge and dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, main bathroom with downstairs toilet. The area has lots of bike paths, and there's a park across the road. If you have a car, there's usually parking right outside the house. There are 3 balconies with views of the CBD.
Our colourful palace of curio and kitsch in Coburg North is seeking a new housemate. Our place is close by the merlynston station (upfield line), has a huge kitchen with dishwasher and free standing gas stove, floorboards through most of the house, a garden about to go berserk, a shed space for storage and a studio space which would be good for a painter or sewist or other crafty endeavor. The house itself is fully furnished, you'd just need to kit your room out which is a decent size.
I am a 31 year old female professional. Just bought my own 2 bedroom unit and I'm looking for someone to rent the 2nd room. I work in the city, I'm very chilled, love my fitness and keeping healthy, staying in and watching movies, cooking etc and love a glass of wine on occasion. I work 6 days and spend a lot of time at my partners place so its a pretty quiet place to live. I'm looking for a female with similar interests, who is clean and tidy and respectful of the shared space and obviously someone who pays on time. The unit has just been renovated, there's a washer and dryer, nice and modern kitchen, lots of street parking and I am located close to Fawkner station and shops so you don't really need a car. If you are interested send me an email, the room is currently unfurnished and there aren't any built in cupboards but the space is large enough to fit a double bed, a set of drawers and a clothing rack so should be plenty of space.

About the place: this beautiful red-brick house has been fully renovated and is looking for awesome people to enjoy its freshness! It's a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with separate lounge room and kitchen/meals area. Freshly painted, new floorboards, new kitchen, two new bathrooms - it's luxury living in the suburbs. The bedrooms are big enough to fit a queen size bed. I have most furniture but you're more than welcome to bring in your stuff and we'll sort something out. About me: I'll be moving to Sydney soon so there will be two bedrooms available for rent in this house! About May: 29-year-old legal PA who works regular full-time hours in the city. She's into her fitness, baking impressive sweet stuff for the house, her impressive-yet-hidden tattoos, and chilling with mates. She'll be helping with bills as I won't be in town. About you: You're clean and tidy, happy to pitch in to keep the house in great condition whilst you live here. We don't care about your sexuality as long as you're a decent and respectful person, who has lived with other people and understands what living in a share-house entails. If you're someone that doesn't bring the party home, happy to share a meal occasionally and are generally sociable we'll get along well! Rent: $210 per week/$910 per calendar month; one month upfront plus $800 security deposit which will be returned when you leave (after room is left clean and bills are paid). Great 3 bed room house with 2 bedrooms available. Spacious sunny bedrooms, fully furnished. Close to Edwardes park in Reservoir. Really quiet and safe area. You see kids and people walking their dogs around the neighbourhood all the time. Lease can be flexible with minimum 3 month stay.
Well sized unfurnished room (3.20 x 3.70m) available featuring: • BIR (they are quite massive, with lots of shelf space) • Ceiling fan • Beautiful polished floor boards • Large east facing window We live in a quiet dead end street, only steps away from a gorgeous creek and a 3 minute walk to Edwardes Lake Park. The house has: • Polished floor boards throughout except for tiled kitchen and bathroom • Central bathroom, which would be almost exclusively yours (I have a en-suite) • Spacious open plan kitchen and living area • Separate laundry and toilet • Very large undercover & astro-turfed outdoor area, equipped with comfy furniture, BBQ and fire pit • Large garden with planter boxes to grow veggies • Workshop set up in the garage • Unlimited fast cable internet and FetchTV You’d be sharing the house with me (male, 42) and my 5 year old son who lives with me part of the time. I work in a casual job and run my own graphic design biz (working from home). I consider myself environmentally minded, I love music and there is a pair of turntables set up in the living room hooked up to speakers and a subwoofer that can make the walls shake (but don’t worry, I don’t shake walls very often). I’m a seafood loving vegetarian, but I don’t mind if you cook up a meat fest in the kitchen, I will even cook your meat on the BBQ for you. We like to keep the house tidy and clean and I’m possibly a bit of a neat freak sometimes, but otherwise pretty easy going. I like to have friends over for a barbie and a few drinks occasionally, but am not quite the party animal of younger days anymore. We have a pet Blue Tongue Lizard. You must be cool with kids (this is probably the most important), easy going, appreciate a good balance of private space and social times, naturally keep things tidy around the house … just be a sound and down-to-earth person and I’m sure we’ll get along well. Send me a message if you have any questions or would like to come around to have a look … tell us a bit about yourself while you’re at it ;-)

Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller.
Hi, my name is Vincent. I am from Perth (grew up in Brisbane) and thats also where I had both my undergrad and postgrad training. I am a physiotherapist. I am clean and tidy. laid back and easy going. full time employment. respect personal space and privacy
Brazilian guy in Australia for the third time (do I love this country or what...). I am a very laid back, relaxed and sociable person. I am also clean and tidy and respectful to other housemates' space and life flow. Although I have a busy life, I do enjoy a movie, dinner or a few drinks with housemates when time allows. I am currently doing a PhD at Melbourne Uni which takes a lot of my time and may need some quiet time for reading/writing so not looking for a party house. My hobbies involve music (listening, playing, watching it live, reading about it), conversations, the usual Netflix from time to time and getting to see new venues/bars/cafes in this beautiful city. Say hi if you want to know more :)

Hiya! We are two girls who moved over from London in March to start a fresh in Melbourne! I know everyone gives a whole long winded spiel so we decided to keep it short and sweet - straight to the point! We like to think that we got those 3 F's & 3R's: Fun Friendly & Funky / Relaxed Reliable & Respectful Ideally looking for people who like to socialise on the weekend but also wanna hang out in the living room watching films and enjoying meals together during the week. We will be searching for two separate rooms in this shared/ new home, and preferably people who agree that a clean house is a happy house! We are open to live with all genders just as long as we are on the same wavelength! Let us know asap !
I'm a clean and tidy housmate. I keep to myself but don't mind an ocassional drink or a meal together. I need to leave my current house by the 15th.
ABOUT ME: My name is Molly and I'm 31 years old. I am respectful of your space if you need it, and also bubbly and up for a chat, a board game, watching TV or going to the gym together, or sharing a meal if that's what you're into. I like a clean house. I have lived in houses where we had cleaning rosters and that worked. Where I am living now, we just clean up after ourselves and that works too. What doesn't work is mess and disrespect for public spaces! I work full time as a Podiatrist. When I get home from work, you might find me doing one or more of the following: watching TV, working out at the gym, filling in on a netball team, visiting friends/family for dinner, on my laptop, researching, playing sudoku, cooking a delicious fresh healthy meal, or heating up a frozen meal! I am a non-smoker, and only drink occasionally. I would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I recycle, drive a Prius, and like to keep a compost for food scraps. I am looking to live with one or two at most other people. I don't care if you are male or female, as I have lived with both over the years. I care that you are nice, housetrained, respectful, and appreciate my bubbly side! FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: I am happy to share communal items such as milk and toilet paper, otherwise I usually prepare my own food. If I make something special a big lasagne, you are welcome to share. I'm fine if you eat the last of my cookies, as long as you replace them! I would love to live in a beautiful bright house, with built in robes (I don't own a wardrobe); and a clean (modern) kitchen and bathroom. I own a bookshelf with glass doors which I love. I have a buffet and hutch, and chest of drawers - both currently at my parents house, which I can keep there if they're not needed. Otherwise I don't own much else as I got rid of everything that I owned when I moved to Queensland, and only took what would fit in my car. So hopefully you would own household items that I can share. DESCRIPTION OF PET: Sophie will be 9 years old in December. She is my fluffy baby - tortoise shell. She sleeps on my bed with me at night. She is very affectionate, and often lies on her back for belly rubs. I don't like kitty litter, so usually leave a window open for her. She has lived with other pets: cats, dogs, egg laying chooks and a bunny. She got along with ex housemates two cats, but doesn't get along with my mums cat! She used to sleep side by side with my ex-boyfriends two dogs, but is scared of my current housemates dog! She and the bunny used to play together. The chooks would dig for worms around her while she lay in the sun. Looking forward to hearing from you !

Hey! My name is Becky, i'm 24 and studying Psychology when i'm not tearing up the deli at Coles serving the masses their shaved meats. I'm fairly quiet and spend a lot of time Netflixin' and watching embarassing videos on Youtube, however I also enjoy chatting with the occasional wine (not talking to the wine, preferably to humans whilst drinking said wine). I may potentially have a kitten as I have just found 3 abandoned kittens in a park, and although i've found a home for one, they're just so darn cute that it's tempting to take one on board. I hope to hear from you!
I'm looking for someone to move in to a new place with! I am clean, happy and bubbly. I travel for work so I am away at times, but when I'm home I love to hang out with people and I also enjoy my own time. I love a good wine and enjoy reading and cooking!
