Two years ago, as an Australian permanent resident, I left Australia to go back to America in order to be closer to my Dad, who was dying of cancer. This past May 2017, he ended his battle with cancer and passed. During these past couple of years, I have had the privilege of working for some prominent companies here in America. I am an award-winning Manager and Paralegal with 12 years experience and well equipped with an MBA/MS. I'll be arriving in Brisbane on 19 September 2017 and will be looking for work. Looking for somewhere to start my life again in Australia.....in a new city. My goal is to work and save money to purchase a flat in the area whilst having a room. Previously lived in Sydney and Newcastle for over 5 years (but these places didn't suit my lifestyle - I am laid back and friendly). I'm American, a gay male, 40 years old with a very outgoing personality and also like my privacy as well. Fitness and travel are important to me and it would be great to be around like-minded folks. I have done the university student thing so ideally, I'd like to be around professionals who'd enjoy a happy hour or two and maybe a night out on the weekends. I'm new to Brisbane and would like to meet other like-minded people. Lets meet and see if we click! Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions. Regards, Ian
Hi we are a fairly introverted, friendly couple. We are ideally looking for a room each in a share house arrangement and room for us to make and tend a vegie garden is essential. Rob enjoys fishing, gardening, reading, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking and Ruby enjoys yoga, drawing and painting, gardening, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking. Ruby is a vegan non smoker, non drinker (dont mind about living with non vegans) and Rob is mostly vegan diet but occasionally fish etc and non smoker and very occasional drinker (a beer every few months sort of thing). We are polite, considerate and clean housemates and are hoping to find the same. Rob is a gardener by trade and Ruby is a hairdresser by trade however we are both considering studying again. Prospective housemates must be clean, responsible, honest, bills payed on time, anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-classism, pro-environmentalism.. basically pro-basic decency :) smoking outside is okay but seeking a strictly non smoking indoors home. Interested in any and all suburbs, just picked 4 at random. We arrived in Brisbane on the weekend after travelling for the last year and a half. This is our first time living in queensland.
Hi, my name is Dana and I graduated Criminal Justice from UQ last year. I work for an NGO and in hospitality management. I'm pretty clean and am always up for an adventure. For fun, I overanalyze movies and try to guess tasting notes in wines. I'm Cam, I have a dual science/economics degree, work full time, love sports and movies. I'm easy to get along with and clean/tidy. I've been around sharehouses for a while now so I like to think I'm pretty good at it by this point.

Convenient bus service . 10km from CBD and 5 min to Western freeway to the city; Ipswich. Room with ensuite and private balcony at $165/week unfortunately no pets. Room available immediately. One of the best areas of Brisbane with unlimited internet, pool. Close to UQ university, Indooroopilly shopping centre. Large Master bedroom with built in wardrobe, new air con, Foxtel IQ. House is next to the river in very nice estate.
Nice tidy house in quiet leafy suburb. Close to the river and parks, including Sherwood Arboretum. Walking distance to shops and trains. Unlimited internet available. Room available is the main bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. No smokers please.
Nice quiet flat in a valley located near Sherwood Arboretum.(Nice place to go for a run) 5 - 10 min from Sherwood Station. Short term accommodation is cool also if you're looking for a place to crash between houses. Coles and Wollies is Close by. Neighbors keep to themselves and have had no issue living here for the last 8 months. I was sharing this apartment with my partner but she has moved interstate for work and I'm finishing uni before finding a place with her mid next year. Move in date really is whenever truth be told, I'm in no desperate position to fill the room. More so about finding the right person. The flat is almost 100% setup, but I don't have a freezer ... yeah weird... I know, but have all cooking and sitting things. Also if you need a bed and room stuff there is stuff pre-existing so good for someone who needs that sort of thing. Internet is currently not connected but when I get a housemate in, I'll buy a modem/router and we can sort out the connection thing that week! (I'm at uni most days so I never really needed it...) With bond, if you can't pay it up front, all gravy, we can work on it till you have it together. Feel free to have social gathering also (I'm not a party person but) ... just no crazy dub-step parties where people are throwing shit and vomiting in the garden! Can have access to a grand piano if you wanted to learn... Just saying Also the room is on the smallish side hence the cheap price :S Will be putting up photos ... when I have time...
I am a honest and reliable person that is willing to make living with me fun and care free. I am good at keeping on top of housework and being considerate to others in my environment. I study audio engineering at JMC in south brisbane and love music and having fun. The music shouldn't be a concern as most of the work I do is done on headphones. I have a background of travelling so i am very flexible and can cook. I speak fluent Hungarian and English and intermediate level German.
G'day! My name's Tom :) I am 19 y/o living in Brisbane now for two years after moving from up north. I'm studying Drama part-time at UQ and acting and singing externally. I have a competitive background in men's figure skating, and hold an Australian title from my competitive days :) Pursing the arts, I am currently rehearsing with the Queensland Musical Theatre Companies production of Cinderella in the role of Prince Charming. I also perform with The Queensland Choir. I'm easy going and enjoy other's company.
I'm 22 and about to start a full time engineering job in the city. I'm looking to either join an existing household or team-up to find a place. I'm respectful of people's space, enjoy socialising and like to play trl

There is never a dull moment in this household. You'll have your own room (fully furnished) with your own unsuite, the other bathroom (which is the other housemates) has a bath so you can go down to Indooroopilly shopping centre (which is only about a 5 minute train ride and a 5 minute walk from the station) and buy all the lush bath bombs you desire. the apartment has a spacious balcony and also has air conditioning in the living room area and also Fans in the bedrooms. The housemate you will be living with would prefer if you were studying (fine if not) and would also honestly prefer living with a female but if you're gay or straight and completely and utterly comfortable with LGBT+ people you're more than welcome as well. If this interests you at all, please get in contact with me. This is also a Lease transfer, so you will be signing on to a lease until August 2018.
