I'm a 46yo Marriage Celebrant with 2 mini dachshunds and a rather lazy cat. I'm a people's person, but I'm equally as happy with my own company. My children are adults now and I have 2 little grandsons. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I have my own furniture and can provide references.
My name is Jordan, I am about to move away from Townsville pursuing a new career in the rail industry. I'm mature, respectful, easy going ,self-sufficient, I don't smoke, I can cook and I like to keep the living space tidy. I do like the occasional social drink with some banter however I am not one to party where I live (that's what pubs and clubs are for). I have a partner however she is remaining in Townsville with the home we just built. So I am using this time down in South Queensland to research a future rental for my partner and I (6-12months). My routine will consist of mostly work, gym and Netflix, so I shouldn't invade your privacy. In my free time I will most likely fly back to Townsville unless flights are too expensive. I have no additional baggage besides myself and my personal effects.
Accomodation in one of the best areas of Brisbane. 5 minutes away from Indooroopilly shopping centre and 12 minutes to UQ university. Nice quiet area with public transport available down the street. Bedrooms come with wardrobes and all bills included. House also has air con, pool, Foxtel, fast NBN unlimited internet. Located next to the Brisbane river in very nice estate. 2 Rooms available, $160 for medium sized room, $200 a week for large room. Students preferred, no couples sorry.
I’m a bit of an old soul. I am a big tea lover and I adore old shows like Keeping Up Appearances. I’m a bit of a potty-mouth (but not around my grandies!). Bubbly, positive and easy to get along with. Clean, respectful and not a huge party-goer, but likes a Friday arvo wine or 2! (Can put on a mean cheese and antipasto platter!) I’m employed full-time working 7:30-4 in Darra. I have a little cat called Luna, who is completely house-trained and is more than happy to be outside, but does like to be in with me at night. Hopefully in search of flatmates who aren’t too rowdy, like local cafes for brunch and are willing to make space for my collection of teapots and cheese boards.
Magnificent river views. close to public transport & major shopping centers. Share with very friendly housemates. Easy access to Centenary Hwy. Quiet area, situated in a quiet cul de sac. Fully equipped kitchen with separate pantry and laundry area. Only 10km to CBD. Contact via mobile only.
Nice tidy house in quiet leafy suburb. Close to the river and parks, including Sherwood Arboretum. Walking distance to shops and trains. Unlimited internet available. Room available is the main bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. No smokers please.
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
Hi! I'm moving here from Townsville and I'm looking for a room in a house share. I enjoy socialising and trying new things, but I'm definitely not one for partying or clubbing. I'm up for exploring different events, markets and adventure activities like zip lining and high ropes challenges, but also just as happy to chill out and watch movies. I also enjoy my own space and can respect others spaces as well. Cleanliness is very important to me so you don't have to worry, I'll clean up my own mess and can respect shared living spaces. I have a diploma in Childcare and will be applying for jobs once I know for sure what area I will be living in. I'm very budget savvy and good at saving and wont have any issues paying rent. I'd prefer not to be on a lease, or at least not straight away, as I'd like to get to know the other housemates first.
I’m a 26 year old professional male living on the north side but am looking to move closer to Indooroopilly for my work. I’ve recently moved home to Australia after living in Denmark for the past year. I’m clean, quiet and enjoy my own space. I also like to socialise and to get to know others. I work every week day and occasionally weekends. I don’t party or drink very often but I don’t mind doing it from time to time. I like to exercise most week days. I can cook basic things, nothing fancy haha. I’m a little bit OCD about being neat but I’m not pushy. This mainly applies to my personal stuff.
hi there, looking for somewhere to live for approx 6 months. i work full time. i am very chilled and you easy going. probably won't see me much as i will either be at friends or in my room watching netflix or playing ps4. i am quite sociable but will always have respect for housemates. !!!
Hi! I'm Adele. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but studying at UQ. Obviously that is quite the commute, so I would like to move up to Brisbane, but I want to have a look around the area first and see what I think. Therefore, I'm looking for somewhere short-term so I can get a feel for the area. I'm a very quiet person and I plan on spending most of my time studying, so I am not looking for a party-type sharehouse or anything of the like.
I'm friendly, easy to get along with and respect others privacy. I prefer social housemates that I can call friends. I am also looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I am also pretty keen on teaming up with a few people to find somewhere new. ps. a/c is desirable :)
I work full time in Archerfield - looking for a shorter commute. I have my own bedroom furniture, currently selling all house furniture. Looking for an unfurnished room and a house with a yard. I plan to get a pet at the end of the year. I’m the best of both worlds - I’m socialable, like getting to know new people and I’m relaxed. On the other hand I’m also super busy with work and uni so I tend to be quite private during the week. I respect others space, I’m not a party goer, my days are done. Love to cook, get outdoors on my weekends hiking or at yoga and I’m very clean. Looking for somewhere to call home whilst I save for my own. I currently live in on the Northside, work full time in finance and study part time
Hey there, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and working casually in retail. I mainly spend my time playing board games, having a nice brunch with friends, and drinking good coffee when I'm not studying. When I'm home I generally keep to myself although I'm definitely up for making friendships, drinking some wine, eating some snacks and watching TV whenever suits. I'm clean, punctual with rent/bills, and reliable. Thanks, Ben.
Quiet block of units. . Short walk to shops/train. Furnished (can remove if not requied) Air conditoned. Balcony/deck. Bills inclusive. Lease ends late October. Undecided on renewal at present would depend if this worked out.
The apartment is in a safe complex with two other apartments. There is a glass door which requires a tag to scan before you can access the front door and the neighbours are all very friendly. It's also in a great area, its roughly a 600 m walk to Sherwood train station from which trains to the city run every 15 minutes. There is a small village with cafes, woolworths, coles and a post office etc within a 5 minute walk. The apartment itself is in good condition, its very tidy and modern. The available room is a good size and is just across from the main bathroom.
Brand new apartment right in the heart of Sherwood. Within walking distance to shops, cafes, public transport, parks and all that Sherwood has to offer. The apartment has unlimited NBN, all new appliances and is fully furnished, all that needs to be done is your room. You will have your own bedroom with built in wardrobes and your own bathroom.
