$270/week•35 year old woman
Hello! I’m Becca, a 35 year old illustrator, mainly of children’s books. Currently I’m working on illustrating a series of middle grade fiction for Affirm Press here in Melbourne, and writing my first novel. I was born in Scotland but hold dual citizenship, and having lived in Melbourne briefly in the past, I am now moving back.
I’m friendly, creative, respectful, and a social introvert - I love my own company and am very happy chipping away at my novel and recharging, however I also love catch-ups, walks and chats in the sun, and a good kitchen sing-along or movie night with pizza! I am in my element exploring areas I’ve never been to before, hidden coffee shops, & cute little 1920s speakeasy bars, or wandering around the Fringe Festival on a warm evening.
Weekdays are 9-5 design work, and relaxing in the evening either with a novel or hanging out for an after-work chat or dinner with housemates. Weekends I’m usually catching up with friends/finding a green space to walk in/hunting down new coffee shops/continuing to work on personal art & writing projects. I’m also currently debating whether to join a dodgeball league so I can recreate the 2004 Dodgeball movie in real time.
I’ve lived in lots of different flat-shares in different countries over the years, and I’m very respectful of noise, space and cleanliness.
I'm looking to move ASAP, and would love to live with friendly people in their late 20s/30s/40s. Bonus if you have a pet! (I will definitely draw it)
