We're two fun loving South Australian girls looking to move to the big smoke! We have jobs lined up in the CBD for August and are currently just finishing up our semesters of uni here in Adelaide before making the move to Melbourne. We are hoping to find somewhere central, would love to live either just the two of us or with a few other people.. We are very friendly, love socialising but also are very prone to a night on the couch with a cheap bottle of wine and netflix... We look forward to hearing from you! :)
I am a student from Brazil currently living in a home stay looking for an apartment in the city because I would like to live near to my school. I have lived with room mates in the past when I lived in Dublin, Ireland some years ago and for me was a great experience. I'm friendly, polite, organized. I like music, movies, photography and a good chat.
I'm a student from Denmark going to study for 1 semester at Monash University. I study biotechnology on my masters and I really enjoy that. I'm a very calm, "down-to-earth", and friendly person. I am clean and tidy and I like to have my things in order. In my spare time I like to go for a run or do a workout in the gym. I also like some good danish "hygge", where I relax with friends, make some nice food, and maybe watch a good movie. I hope to live in a sharehouse in the area between Melbourne CBD and Monash (Clayton), and I hope to be living with other people wanting to socialize and maybe drink a glass of wine and make a nice dinner once in a while.
I've moved to Melbourne from London and am excited to explore this beautiful city! I've lived in many shared houses and am looking for a houseshare where people are friends as well as housemates. I work as a Management Consultant, but that's about the least interesting thing about me. I like going out and exploring bars, restaurants, art galleries etc and I'm loving the coffee and brunch options here... but am equally happy staying in and cooking a good roast dinner, or mixing margaritas and putting the world to rights :) I love to travel and am a language geek - I've lived in Paris and Shanghai, speak French and German and am now attempting to tackle Mandarin. I'm tidy and organised - my old housemates will vouch for me! Feel free to ask anything else!
Hi! I'm from Singapore and am studying a degree in Advertising at RMIT city campus.🙂 Generally i consider myself to be a tidy and quiet person during uni days and will prolly be camping in my room doing uni work or just on netflix most times so you can expect me to be respectful of your privacy. I smoke occasionally from time to time and also like to party every now and then. I love a mad hang/drinks session with mates and absolutely love pets. Ideally i would like to find a FURNISHED room and a place where i can call home and can hang out in the lounge room with cool house mates watching netflix etc or we can cook food for each other all the time and get drunk together. (p.s i've been told i can cook some nice stuff!) i love music of all sorts really however i am particularly a fan of rock, alternative and yea so on.. you get the gist of it. My favourite band will always be Blink-182! (i promise i won't blast my music or any blink out loud all the time so you don't get too sick of me :P) Currently living in west footscray and would like to move out soon to somewhere closer ish to uni or the eastern surburbs. However i will not be in Melbourne from 19 June - 17 July as I will be back home in Singapore, therefore im looking to move out either before Mid june or after my birthday which is 15th of July. Hope to hear from you future housemates!
I am looking for somewhere new to live. I am a freelance graphic designer who works mostly from home, so I am flexible when it comes to locale, but not having a car, I prefer to stick to the inner city and its surrounds. While I am not unsociable, and am up for a drink/meal/laugh with housemates, I am fairly low-key at home, respectful of everyone’s space, pretty easy-going, tidy and I pay my bills on time. So, what do you say? Let’s do this . . .
Hey! We have a room with a private ensuite bathroom available from 14 June in our lovely, bright and recently renovated CBD apartment! The room is available for one person or two people/a couple. The apartment is just minutes walk from Southern Cross station, the Yarra River and the Crown Entertainment Complex. This is a great area of Melbourne's CBD and there are plenty of public transport options, including Southern Cross and Flinders St train stations, dozens of tram lines and many bus stops, all on your doorstep. The Yarra River and it's spectacular views of Melbourne's river front skyline are a minute's walk from the apartment. Some great Melbourne cafes, restaurants and bars are all close by. It's right next door to Virgin Active gym and several other gyms are also close by. Grain Store, one of the best cafes in Melbourne, is just few doors down. The apartment has open plan living and kitchen areas complete with wooden floorboards. It's fully furnished and equipped including brand new appliances, including fridge, washing machine, couch, dining table/chairs, etc. Super fast (upto 100 Mbps) fiber Internet with WiFi access and UNLIMITED downloads is included as well! The room itself is spacious and also fully furnished with brand new queen size bed, bedside table, wardrobe, 32" TV and a Chromecast - so you can stream YouTube and Netflix, etc. :). The apartment also includes access to a pool, gym and sauna! Rent includes ALL bills and the room and the apartment fully furnished and equipped! (Bills can add up very quickly, so make sure you factor that in for places that don't have them included.) There are 3 rooms in the apartment in total. There is a couple in one room and single person in the other. We are happy to consider long or short term arrangements. Students and working holiday visa holders are also welcome! That's enough about the apartment, we'd like to get to know you! Give Liliana, our property manager, a call to have a chat and make a time to check the place out! Alternatively, send us a flatmates message with your number and Liliana will give you a call back. Cheers, Yorran & Ian (the owners of the apartment)
We're quiet, clean and awesome! We're both from Canada (friendly Canadians- WIN, WIN!!) We both work in hospitality and are super relaxed. We enjoy casual drinks and Asian food! We're also quite flexible with the length of stay :) What works for you, works for us!
Hi I'm a TV journalist and comms manager into dance, food, travel, languages, AFL, beer/cider/wine, nature, trying new things, adventures, meeting new people. I've lived in France and West Africa, and speak French too. I'm very laid back and get along with everyone and I'd love to meet people to explore Melbourne with!! I'm clean and tidy but I don't consider the meaning of life to be cleaning activities. I do not live with people who have narcissistic personality disorder. I'm looking for a decent sized place with a lockable bedroom, heating and preferably a backyard but not essential. Happy to catch anyone 20-35 years old who thinks we'd get along.
My name is William and I have just recently moved here from Perth. I am 22 years old and currently studying Interior Design at RMIT University. Generally a very laid back and chilled out kind of guy. But love to socialise and make new friends. I am also very clean, tidy and minimal. I usually try to cook as healthy as possible whenever I can but love to eat out every now and then. I love photography, arts, music and clothes. Always keen to explore new places since I am new to Melbourne.
I'm a Spanish PhD Student (Psychology). I'll be working at the University of Melbourne for three months, and I hope to have time to travel and to know more about Australia :) I speak fluent English (and of course Spanish!). I'm quiet and tidy, and I don't smoke. Looking forward to go to Melbourne :)
