I am professionally an engineer and plan to study full time PhD in University of Melbourne. I am originally from Sri Lanka and stayed in USA for few years. My expected move-in date would be June 27, 2025. Initially, I'm looking for a 6 month stay, however, looking to extend depending on the circumstances as the duration of my PhD is 4 years. Ideally, I’m looking for a private room in a shared apartment or house, fully furnished, within a short commute to the university. I am a easy going, friendly, and quite person. I don't drink neither smoke and I don't have any pets (However, I am a big dog lover!). I love quite surroundings. I am not into partying and I love writing in my spare time. I have an online fitness business that I'm looking to get off the ground that'll eventually become my full-time income, but for the moment, I'll do that alongside a job. Once I arrive, I'll hopefully join a soccer team (and maybe even a football team, although I've never played before!) and some other exercise-based clubs. I'm a big sports fan, particularly soccer and rugby, and I've been getting into the AFL a bit more. I do not drink or have an interest in clubbing (I've done enough of both already), and I'm not interested in the "food scene" as I eat the same things every day following a carnivore diet. Cheers!
