    $200/week44 year old woman

Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m posting here about the idea of creating an intentional share house with like-minded women. I’ve been living in Grange in a unit that i bought for the last 6 years and for a while now, have been receiving the message that it’s time to move and change things up. I’ve been on a big healing journey over the last 7 or 8 years and am now at a place where I’m ready to start being intentional with creating the life i want. one of the things i often think of is that i want to create a share house and live with other people in a harmonious, supportive, fun, creative, and nourishing home environment. If you’re a woman and this is something that you’re interested in, please read on. I’ve thought a lot about what I would want in a share house situation and so have some criteria about what I’m looking for. Have a read through and feel into whether it feels like it would be a good fit for you: - women only (not because i have anything against men but because this is what would feel most harmonious and secure to me). i am open to living with a mother and child/ren and would be comfortable living with boys in this situation. i might also be open to living with a couple. - group of 4-5 women sharing (perhaps slightly different number if there are children) - a large home in the hills that has plenty of trees and green landscape, preferably with a view; somewhere between Belair, Clarendon, and Woodcroft - shared values around authenticity, kindness, community, personal growth, spirituality, and simple living (values don’t have to completely overlap but some shared views are important) - on a healing path that includes valuing healthy relationships and transparent communication - willing to participate in house meetings and other activities that support connection and sharing of responsibilities involved in running a home - no cats unfortunately. i have a cat of my own who gets very upset if she’s not the only cat in the village ;) an easy-going dog might be okay, they would need to be pretty placid A little about me... I’m 44, currently single with no children (though close to my two nephews and a mum to said feline called Biscuit). I’ve lived in a variety of share house situations over my life including large, small, with partners. I have a psychology back ground and work in the mental health field. I am passionate about nervous system education as a path to resolving a lot of the health and social challenges we face. I'm developing a coaching business to support sensitive women to flourish through nervous system resilience. I’ve had a lot of life experiences and these days enjoy slow, simple living. I love nature, cooking wholesome meals, watching movies, dance, bush walking, camping, travel (though haven’t done a lot of this in recent years), learning (a little addicted to podcasts and youtube), reading, playing board games and other things. I could share more but will leave it here for now. if you’re a women reading this and interested to explore the idea further, i’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch and share something about yourself as well as what draws you to this idea. Looking forward to connecting!

    $300/week35 year old man

Hey there, I am single. I have a full-time job, with stable income. Here comes with the background why I made this post on Flatmates.com.au. The current landlord is selling the property where I am living. The contract is ending by end of June 2025. So, there comes with an uncertainty of my living that, if the sale succeed, the future landlord would be either a pure investor or someone who wants to move in. As a result, I'm in urgent looking for a property to move to, just in case the future landlord wants to move in causing my rental agreement can't be renewed. My idea is that I want to take an entire rental property. So, I'm considering to team up with someone who can be the joint applicant with me in taking the entire property. I reckoned that it would probably enhance the chance of succeed than applying it by either one of us solely. And, as we will be the legal tenants on the contract, we share the entire property with equal responsibility in maintaining it, as well as sharing the rent. I am an introvert, a responsible person, and I like a clean, organised, non-partying, non-smoking house. I like socialising but also respecting others privacy and boundary. I am a responsible person that would take care of the house, return and put-away things to where I used and got from, clean up stuff that I made mess with, and keep the house in its original condition. If you resonate with me the above, I hope we could discuss the possibility of teaming up to take a rental property together. Both male and female are welcome. I have with me the major white goods (i.e. fridge, washing machine), beds and mattresses, and some other furnishings. I have my residential internet in use as well. Everything is ready, just need a new home to move. I can move anytime by 30 June. The sooner the better.
