I’m someone who makes sure things are always clean. Am capable of cooking and jobs that are essential around a house I currently work till midnight most nights. I’m also currently studying at Vic Uni in Footscray. Collingwood supporter.
I'm 26. I'm very easy going, friendly and try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy my own space but I like to socialise often. I enjoy being outdoors and exploring nature. I like reading, yoga, hiking, riding my bike, going to gigs, red wine on a Friday night and meeting new people. I work for government and I do voluntary work for a NGO. I am very neat and tidy and I'm always on time with paying bills and rent. I look forward to hearing from you :D
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place start of feb but pretty flexible with a move in date as I don’t need to be out of current place until end of March.
I'm dependable, trustworthy, a little quirky, and honest (although it might take a little while for me to fully open up to people). I'm a quiet person in general but I'm also friendly and will become more talkative and excitable once I've gotten used to the people I'm around. I'll admit in my personal spaces I can be a small bit messy but otherwise I consider myself to be clean and organised. I'm willing to negotiate and compromise and would rather talk problems out than argue. My hobbies include reading, watching Netflix and anime, and a whole lot of drawing and painting, as well as playing console, computer and tabletop games. Also, and I'm not entirely sure how relevant this is, but i really love Japanese culture and language and so i can read and speak beginner-intermediate Japanese. Well, that pretty much covers it without giving an entire life story, ahaha. Please consider me!
I'm a quiet uni student studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a relatively cheap room to rent which I will tend to keep to unless I'm cooking or out at uni. I really enjoy video gaming and playing music with others (I tend not to play much by myself). I'm quite friendly and happy to chat if need be as well as being comfortable to communicate about happenings in or around the house. I have no preferences for the age or gender of people I live with and will have a look at all offers. I have a small black domestic shorthair called Belle who loves playing and the occasional cuddle. She's quite nervous when it comes to new environments, but it doesn't take long for her to gain her confidence.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I’m Chloe, 22 and a student looking for a short sublet from the end of Feb/beginning of March - beginning of May anywhere in the Melbourne area pretty much! I’m clean, organised, happy to chat and hang out if other people are up for it!
I am a 21 year old student from the U.K and I'm gonna be in temporary accommodation from the 14th of Feb, but would like something longer term (4-6 months) to stay whilst I'm studying. A little about me, I enjoy exercise and like to go climbing/bouldering frequently. I enjoy relaxed evenings in, house meals and movie nights. I'm also up for trips into the city to go and see places/explore. Whilst in Melbourne I'm ideally gonna be working part-time and studying full time, so having a space to wind-down and chill is a priority. I am respectful of other peoples space, I am clean, tidy and an easy-going guy. Please drop me a message if you have a place, or looking for a team-up.
Hi there! I'm Cecile, I'm a 23 year-old graphic designer on a working holiday (determined to try and stay permanently!) in Melbourne. I'm mixed French/Japanese, and I speak too many languages for no reason at all. I love to draw and make zines, cook and bake, watching movies and tv shows *and* discussing movies and tv shows. I also love to walk around and I'm a big fan of hiking. I'm also a skilled op-shopper. I am looking for a place that's convenient and easy to access by public transport (I'm incapable of driving), as I plan to look for a job and I want to be able to get places without much hassle. I have preferences for a furnished place (a place that has at least a bed and a closet) since I can't carry any furniture with me from Europe. I like hanging out but I also like to do stuff on my own. I'm always careful to respect shared spaces and keep them clean. Somehow, cleaning is relaxing to me so you don't have to worry about this aspect! I don't I'm arriving in Melbourne on the 15th of February, I'm okay with both short term and long term deals! If all of this sounds good to you, then let's talk!
Im a loveable guy who is responsible and tidy. I am working full time in drainage, i wont be home much on week days. I love making music on my pc, rapping and talking (despite my introversion) so i will most likely keep to myself
Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hey, I'm Ned, I moved to Melbourne late last year after spending my whole life in Western Australia, now my current housemates want a house to themselves and I'm looking for a place to live! I have a three-year-old indoor cat called Flare and some basic furniture (Desk, mattress, and a few small shelves) but not a lot beyond that. I start at Swinburne University in a few weeks and I'm looking to move before then. I'm pretty clean and quiet, I mostly keep to myself but I'm definitely looking for friends as well as housemates so it'd be good to find some people that wanna hang out, play video games, whatever.
