My name is Hana, I'm a kiwi nurse at Footscray hospital, looking for a chilled out flat where people hang out a bit and do semi-regular meals together- a real home :) Mini life story: I worked around a bunch of pubs in WA for a couple of years before starting uni in Frankston 4 years ago and now that I've got some spare time I'm trying to grow some hobbies/ an actual life! I like cooking big meals and sharing new food ideas, netflix, a bit of salsa dancing and yoga, and trivia as often as I can go. I've been living in sharehouses for about 6 years now and am well and truly house trained. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your flat, happy to get coffee or a beer sometime to meet 🙂

Hello! My name is Dylan, I am a 23 year old female who is originally from the USA - Texas to be exact! I studied abroad in Melbourne, and absolutely fell in love with the city. Even after traveling across the globe, I decided Melbourne is where I wanted to move after graudation last year. My degree is in music business (production emphasis) and management, so obviously music plays a huge part in my life and is ultimately the industry I want to work in, but I am currently working full time as a receptionist at a luxury resort in the heart of Kakadu National Park to take care of some visa requirements. I fly back to that states on the 6th of June to file my visa, but will be back in Melbourne the 11th of July and I'm so excited! I am respectful, organized, clean, and always pay my bills on time. I love nights in with friends, especially when I am working full time, but can definitely go for the occasional night out. I absolutely love cooking and can spend hours in the kitchen trying new recipes. Besides that, I try to work out pretty consistently throughout the week and love to take trips to go hiking, create DIY projects/have some creative outlet, and love learning new skills/hobbies - currently trying my hand at guitar and German (Ich bin noch nicht sehr gut). If you want to know anything else, please let me know, and I'll do my best to answer! :)
Hey We are two guys, looking for a two seperate rooms in a new place to live. I work full time in a popular restaurant in the city. being a chef i work hospitality hours, which leads to me coming home quite late at night. Never a problem really, im quite a considerate person, who keeps quiet. im into film, photography, food obviously, live music and all the rest of the jazz. im quite the reader as well. Gianni is a full time student at RMIT, studying mechatronic engineering. Too intelligent for his own good we often discuss topics for hours. Hes an ideas guy, always coming up with new schematics and theorizing inventions. We eat out a lot, pseudo reviewing restaurants for our own top 5 lists. neither of us are from Melbourne but exploring the city has been quite fun. We are currently living in Footscray and have been for 5 months, but are looking for somewhere new to live. Possibly with cool people in a cool area. Like all the hip kids you know.
Hi im Amber I kinda suck at these kind of things but hey here I go, I'm 19 from Perth and moving to Melbourne on the 25th. I am a kind hearted, fun, bubbly person. I keep to myself a fair bit but maybe in a new city I may break out of that, I consider my self a music enthusiast haha. I also go to the gym everyday and take pride in being the best person I can. It would be cool to live with someone like minded so we can have a house full of good vibes :D Ive been brought up doing strict chores so I will always be happy to clean up. - I'm looking for a pre furnished room, close to lots of shops/public transport and must be near a good gym!
Hi, I'm Yash. Doing my degree in contemporary music, Australian Institute of Music , Guitarist, singer. Wont be much of a disturbance while practicing, but hey if theres music playing in the room you wouldn't call it a disturbance now, would you? Im fun, someone youl love to hang out. I dont smoke though. Movie freak, foodie, football(soccer)fan and the list goes on.Love to go out on drinks for the weekends, pretty chilled out. If you want to know everything here it self, youl be bored. Lets get to know more once we are roomies!
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi, I am looking for a happy new housemate to share a spacious, comfortable unit with sensational city views for 2 months or longer, it will be available from the 30/1st of September 2017. The room is furnished of a decent size fitting a queen, with double built in robes, a bed-side table and storage boxes. The unit is located in a sensational location, a peaceful pocket of Footscray on Moreland Street, set among elms and gumtrees just 100 meters from the Maribyrnong River, which is great for relaxing or exercising!! We are walking distance (8min) to the main Footscray Railway Station, (12) min to Safeway, Footscray's best cafe's, bars, restaurants and markets are all within a short walking distance. Vic Uni is very close, 10 min walk if you are studying!! Yum Yoga is in our street, along with White Dog Pilates. I think you'll love this townhouse, as it's very light and spacious, with a large comfortable living area, and outside has a large furnished balcony. Our lounge has a 3 and two seater leather couch to relax in after your day at work or uni, a 10 seat jarrah table, with magnificent unrestricted views of the city!! The kitchen is both modern and large, with a fantastic round window above the sink looking into the trees. We have a stainless steel fridge, a new kettle and toaster, plenty of cupboards. We have a fairly good array of all kitchen utensils you'll need for cooking, including plates, cups, knifes and forks. There is one car space available. The Footscray Arts Centre cafe is literally up the road, Lentil as Anything is also here, an awesome vegetarian restaurant offering great food and very reasonably priced. I am a mature aged student, studying social work at Vic Uni, friendly, like being able to come home and say hi to my housemates, I like music, hiking, travel and during summer I'm often not home as I stay down the coast. Currently In the other room is Nasyrah, 25, from England, her family is from Malasia, friendly, social, she works in the city. Preferably we would like to share with others who are also easy going, friendly, courteous of their house mates who keep all shared living spaces clean and tidy. Looking for housemates who see home as a place to unwind and relax, not a party house. Someone who on occasions would like to share the odd chat over a meal. We are very respectful of privacy and would wish for the same. If this sounds like it might be something that will suit you, feel free to send a message...to organise a look. Bills such as gas and internet are included in rent with the exception of water and electricity. Both of those would be divided evenly between housemates. Unlimited Internet ($65 monthly) is FREE inclusive in the rent. The rent is $230 a week. There is no Bond to pay, there is 1 weeks rent in advance which will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Look forward to hearing from you!! I am a full time student on Swanston st and am hoping to get into shift work at Crown Fridays-Sundays. I'm a social butterfly but love coming home to my own space and just relaxing with some personal time. I go to the gym a fair bit and I'm always cooking, I clean up after myself and i promise I'll try my best to never leave my wet towel on the ground ;) I am a lot more attractive as a prospective flatmate in person than I am on paper so please don't write me off due to my age! Yes I am young but I go out to have fun, and come home to relax, I'm very respectful of a shared space.
