Hi, nice to meet you, My name is Khanh Dang, or you can call me Jun (my pen name) for short. I am a Vietnamese design student of RMIT University Vietnam and at February 2017, I am going to Melbourne for cross-campus exchange program for 1 year and looking for accommodation around City Campus. I love sketching, drawing, doing animation and visual effect when I'm free. I can say I am knowledgeable of technology stuff. I love pets, especially dog and cat. I am an open-minded and organized individual myself. I can cook quite well and don't hesitate to participate in common activities, but when I'm alone, I am silent and quiet, focus on drawing. Hope to become your flatmate in next semester.
Manon and Vanja, 2 professionals working full time in Finance and Health Care, in our late twenties. Both sporty, neat, easy going and pretty happy to relax around some drinks and good food after a busy day/week at work. While pretty social, we know to respect that everyone needs their own space and has their own life. We are looking for a house that feels like home and nice, professional, housemate(s). Feel free to get in touch if you think we would get along! Cheers, Manon & Vanja
I honestly don't have a lot to offer. I am 19, I don't study, I don't work, I get disability payments and I have a cat, but I always pay rent and I am tidy and easy to get on with. Every so often I use my nervous energy to clean everything too, so that's another perk of living with me. It's difficult finding somewhere to rent in my position and I know this ad will get little to no response but I'm desperate to move quite soon so if you think we'd get on please contact me!
Hey there! I'm Alex and I'm a 21 year old, tidy, full-time retail worker. I love to go out and try new things, but I also love spending some time just chilling out and relaxing. I'm looking for a room mate/s who are cool to hang out sometimes and sit around to have a chat but are also okay if they just want a night to themselves sitting around watching Netflix. Thanks!
I am quiet, clean, and keep to myself for the most part. My hobbies include reading, gaming, journaling, and going for runs/walks. I am an open-minded, accepting person and I am looking for a flat-mate/s with those same qualities as well :) I currently live in Adelaide and I hope to move to Melbourne by the end of January to prepare for university at RMIT, where I will be studying Legal and Dispute Studies. I will also be getting a job fairly quickly after I move, I will be on student allowance however so paying rent will not be a problem.
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Hey everyone, Steve and me are a german couple and we're gonna move to Melbourne in January. We'll be on our second working holiday visa then. We're going to look for a full time employment for at least 6 months. Steve is a chef and I am a hospitality specialist. That's why we've choosen Melbourne, to make some experience and improve our CVs ;) We're very relaxed and neat. Due to our jobs, we're very clean. On our days off, we like to go to the cinema, meet friends, cook together or just spend the time on the couch. We are no party animals but love to have a few beers or wine with our house mates ;) So, if your looking for a relaxed couple, with some great cooking skills, feel free to contact us!

After being granted my PR visa, I migrated in Australia about 3 months ago. I first stayed with my relatives and job-hunted in Sydney for two months before coming into Melbourne to find work. I am currently staying with a couple friend (husband and wife) in Maribyrnong who had been in the country for almost 3 years now and had been very supportive and accommodating to me. But since I already found a full-time work in Laverton, I have decided to find a place of my own now. I think my cleanliness and willingness to help in the house/flat are two of my greatest characteristics. I also respect the privacy of my housemates and is considerate. I have fallen in love with Maribyrnong due to its accessibility to restaurants, grocery shops, markets, a reliable public transport, Highpoint and its proximity to the city. These things are very important to me that is why I am looking for a place here in Maribyrnong or just near the vicinity. I am looking for a room furnished with the basic necessities (bed and closet). I can just buy the other things as needed. I am into traveling and photography. I also maintain a travel and food blog during my free time in which I document the restaurants I have dined in and countries that I have gone to. I enjoy taking aimless walks in a new place or city just for the sake of discovery. I am a book-lover who just recently discovered the joy of reading from the Kindle app. I love Japanese and Vietnamese food and would constantly find myself craving for a bowl of pho or a bowl of spicy tuna sashimi. God how I miss Spicy Tuna Sashimi! Feel free to contact me if you want to know more and just want to say hello! Can't wait to hear from you soon!! Best regards, Lav
We are a friendly genuine Christian (married) couple who are loving, kind and understanding. We are easy going and relaxed. Wife loves cooking and we both love to share. However we have Christian standards and won't tolerate certain activity in the house. We love and accept everyone though, but will only live with those willing to live the same way as us. We love Jesus and go to a local church, and are looking for other God fearing friends. If you enjoy the sound of worship music and talking about God, send us a message :) Also with locations we aren't quite familiar with Melbourne as we only moved down here from Queensland mid November, so anywhere less than 50 or so mins from the city by tram is fine.
Hi I'm Stacey, 22 & moving to Melbourne in mid/late January. I'm very easy going & get along with everyone. Have a good sense of humour, neat, tidy & respectful. I enjoy cooking & keeping fit & healthy. Love to explore the outdoors & always in search for the latest trendy cafe or pop-up bar. Although I love being social, I do appreciate down time & often find myself on the couch watching OffSpring & enjoying a glass of wine... or two! If you think we would get along well, I would love to hear from you :)
Hi there, I´m a 25 year old girl from Sweden who is looking for an accommodation from now until the end of February 2017. I have moved down temporarly to Melbourne for work and will go back to the Sunshine Coast when uni starts. I am used to sharing and as a person I´m friendly and very respectful to others and the house I´m living in. Please note that I´m only looking for an accommodation where there is a LUG or undercover parking space available. If you have something you think might fit, then I would be really glad to hear from you :) Cheers
Fantastic position. 5 minute walk to Vic Uni, 2 minute tram ride to highpoint, 10 mins by tram to Footscray station. Bus and tram at front door. We are in a secure gated community. Everything supplied, just need yourself. Small courtyard with bbq. Housemate moving interstate with work. House has wifi $20 per month each. You would be sharing with Aussie female baker, French male landscape gardener and Indian male engineer. Not a party house. Our little doggie has just passed away recently and we are thinking about getting another soon, so you must be ok with this. Bills are divided equally. We keep a clean, tidy place and share the housework. It's a double room with a single bed and bedside table. It will easily fit a queen bed. We also have a cleaner Air con Heating Gated community Visitor parking Washing machine & Dyrer Dishwasher Built in robes
I work within the health and fitness industry at Australian Sports Nutrition. When I'm not at work I spend my time at the gym! Would love to team up with individuals with similar interests :)
Hi folks :) I'm Avi, a 26 year old student and bartender. I'm friendly, get along with just about anyone, plenty of sharehouse experience, and always up to meet new people. Don't mind having a coupla on the weekend, or going to discover new spots in this wonderful city, but equally happy to kick back at home as well. Reading, tv shows, riding my bike, good conversations, food, discovering new places, all get thumbs up.
Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
1 room available in 2 bedroom unit. The unit is fully self contained with kitchen, dining area and shower/toilet. Room is spacious at 3.8 X 2.8 = 10.65 square metres. The room can be furnished with a Queen size bed or double bed if required. The unit is located central to everything. There is a bus stop directly outside the front gate. I'm the landlord and live in one room, the second room is available and private with door lock. I maintain the unit clean once a week. There's a problem with this property profile as it says own bathroom but it's shared only with me. I have contacted Flatmates but they advise I should create another profile but that would mean that I lose free to message. I go the gym most days so I don't shower at home. The train and tram are within walking distance on the corner of Ballarat road and Gordon street. Fast food is everywhere. This room is great for students attending Victoria University which is very close and medical staff at the Western hospital which is practically one street away. IGA at corner of Ballarat Road and Gordon Street. Rent negotiable for right tenant. Separate entry to unit. 20 minutes to city by car off peak or 40 minutes by public transport. Hello there :) My names Jemima, I am 21 and studying Fine Arts at Monash Caulfield and are working as a Host at Nobu Melbourne. I love music, cooking, art and my indoor plants are my babies. I am a vego but don't mind if you're not. Of course I look forward to fun social times in the house but also am fully aware of the need for personal space. I am clean and responsible when it comes to house duties and the sharing of shared goods in the house. I have been living independently for 3 years of so now, but still have not managed to accumulate much stuff - I have my herbs in pots that I love that will be coming with me but apart from that I don't have many appliances (no washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, TV). If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask me :)

Hey I'm Sarah, I'm a Kiwi and have been in Melbourne for about 2 months now and love it! I'm working full time business hours (8am - 7pm) in the city. As a flatmate I'm clean & tidy, considerate, friendly.
Hi, we're moving to Melbourne early Feb 2017. We are two lovely Scottish nurses looking for a place to stay not too far from the city, close to public transport. We would make great housemates, we are clean and tidy, considerate and reliable and are used to living with other people. We're fun and friendly and are looking forward to meeting new people in Melbourne. We are looking for either 2 rooms or a room to share. Hope to hear from you soon! Pamela & Mhairi x
We have a 3 bedroom furnished unit, right next to the river in Footscray. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a big open living area with a balcony. We also have an onsite swimming pool, sauna and gym, which are free to use. It’s a short walk to the train station and up to the main street of Footscray. The empty room has its own ensuite and built in wardrobe and there is a free car space in the underground car park if needed. We distinctly lack a couple of important things including a BBQ, a clothes line (use clothes airer) and and x-box featuring fifa.
Riley. 23. Friendly, easy-going and organised. Obsessed with cinema, live music, cycling, making films and currently developing my newfound love of swimming! I divide my time as a support worker at Homeless Crisis Accommodations in the City, and as a personal carer with disabled teenagers. I'm really easy to live with. I can keep to myself, but also am happy having a drink or a cuppa with the housemates! Currently in Brunswick. Love the North, where the bike lanes flow like mighty rivers.
