Hey, I’m Rachel, I’m looking to relocate to a new house. I’m searching for a room that could work in an already established house or one or two quality humans that might be interested in teaming to get a place. I love meeting new people and am very social, although incredibly adaptable with different personalities and very respectful of others space and time. I work fulltime as a BDM which involves a fair amount of travel, I like to stay fit, I also enjoy heading out on a weekend here and there. I would love to live in a house with others who like to make a clean yet comfortable space, and don’t mind having a chat from time to time.
I am a friendly person that is happy to keep to themselves but am always up for a chat and hanging out. Love cooking for others more than myself and enjoy cleanliness. I am pretty social and out frequently although also enjoy having a friend over for dinner here and there. Work a 9-5 job as a Quality Coach. Passionate about health, fitness and spiritual growth. Not a partier but love a quiet wine or two (especially in winter).
Hey, I'm returning from a 6 month internship in the Biomedical Engineering department in Alice Springs, back in Adelaide to finish up my honours with Flinders Uni. I work as a brand ambassador, play video games, and cook relatively well. My time in Alice Springs was spent living with a revolving roster of student nursers, doctors and allied health professionals, so I'm used to living with new people. I will bring with me the greatest vacuum cleaner ever manufactured.
Hi there, I'm Sophia! I'm a 24 year old working as a Graphic Designer in Adelaide. I am looking for a housemate/housemates who would like to make a house a home. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, exercising, spending plenty of time outdoors and a good glass of wine. I would love to enjoy these things with the people I live with! I am very clean and organised, and like to keep my home tidy. I am also environmentally conscious and love having plants around the house.
My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
Hi! Soon to be student @ Flinders Uni this Mar 2019 intake. Will be taking Masters in Environmental Management. Looking for a small place for meself around the southern part of CBD preferably near bus/transit stops for easier commuting. Maybe a room or small granny for starters would be nice. I do love an adventure every now and then. Love to explore areas by walking, hiking, and biking. But most times, am laid back and would like some relaxed, chill, and study time. A lovely chat with my hosts and housemates over dinner and a movie would be most pleasant. But I also do respect individual space and privacy. I am a very tidy and organized person and like to clean as I go.
3rd year at Adelaide Uni, studying teaching, I've lived in share houses before, from the Riverland. I would say I'm pretty laid back, don't mind a Bev but usually spend my time on assignments, watching movies or nba just looking for someplace peaceful and preferably close to the city I'm pretty opened minded and don't take myself that seriously!
I have been living back home in the country for the past 3 months and I'm looking to relocate back to Adelaide. I have been living and working as a tradesman in Adelaide for the last 8 years and will be moving back down to commence full time work. I'm very laid back, friendly, and easy to get along with. Playing and watching sport is what interests me the most along with music and catching up with mates. I'm very neat and tidy and also very reliable when it comes to paying rent on time. I'm looking to live somewhere central as I will be to and from training twice a week in the evening, and will also be driving to Port Broughton on weekends once the footy season starts.
Hey all. I work at an Accounting firm. Generally, keep to myself but would be up for a chat. I like things clean and tidy but not a neat freak as such.
This has been our house for the last 3 years, could it be yours? Hi! I’m Kate and I currently hold the lease on this property, which has been home to me and three other girls. However I just bought a house of my own and now we have one room to rent until the lease runs out on 4 June. One of the current tenants is staying until the end of the lease and a young couple has just moved in with a pretty adorable puppy. There'll be another dog coming mid-March. A bit about Clair (the tennant staying on): I've lived in this house for about 8 months, and have loved being here. The place is full of character and has the perfect deck for an afternoon wine. I work a 9-5 job as a magazine editor, and spend a lot of my weekends in the surf or at the beach. A bit about Robbie and Alex (the couple): We moved down from Melbourne for university and have loved not only the house but the positive environment around it too. We have 2 dogs (8month old and 3yo) which we love very much, however only the pup is up with us until we head back to get our other girl. The house was very welcoming and fun to be in! Alex is studying Education & Languages at Flinders whilst Robbie is continuing a Science degree specialising in Animal Behaviour. A bit about the house and room: This solid brick bungalow is located on a 900sqm corner block with high fences around the property. Cars can be securely stored behind lockable gates. The property is pet friendly. The house is full of character, huge rooms, high ceilings, cool in summer and warm in winter. Perfectly located between the CBD, beach and public transport. There are buses close by to get to Adelaide Uni, UniSA and Flinders. The room up for grabs is large, bright and full of character. $120 per week, internet included but other bills are shared. The house is furnished, and there is an option for the room to be partially furnished too. If you feel this place could be your next home feel free to contact me. :) Kate
Having lived around the globe in rented properties with housemates from a varied background I have developed my expertise in being adaptable, respecting personal space and timely payment of bills. I like to keep my home clean and tidy so I hope my future housemate would be someone who cleans up after self. There is a lot to me and it would take ages to draft it all in this box so it would be better if we could catch up for a cuppa and chat in order to ascertain if we could be housemates. I would prefer a place in close proximity to the city, public transport, supermarket, and a gym. Ideally on/close to ANZAC highway. I don't have any pets but I do love them, especially dogs and bunnies!
currently own my own business, selling crystals online but I am also currently looking for work to supplement my income. I am neat and clean. I like to go camping and hiking and just generally being in nature. I am 420 friendly and also vegan. I would like to live in a cruisy house where we can occasionally hang out but also have our own time away from each other.
This ground floor, 2 bedroom unit is within close proximity to the city, with the convenience of the City and Glenelg tram right in front. The 2nd bedroom is up for rent which is partly furnished with a single bed, built in wardrobe with mirrors and a large desk.It can easily fit a double/queen bed if you have one. Big windows that give plenty of natural lights. There is only one shared bathroom and a separate laundry off the kitchen that comes with washing machine and dryer. A large kitchen for those who loves to cook. Kitchen cutleries and utensils are provided as well as white goods. Small patio area off the lounge room and off street parking is available. A communal area to dry off your clothes just in front of the unit.
Hello, im half Japanese half israeli and i think i have little bit of both cultures so im polite, neat and considerate my srounding but still flexible and open easy going person, i work full time and im positive we can get along
For work I do freelance filming and editing which is a lot of fun and keeps me very busy. I'm very flexible with requirements, ideally looking to move in with two other people (around my age) in a suburb not too far from the city or near Brighton. I enjoy my space but would love to move in with people I can also get along with well and have drinks etc. etc. Looking to move asap, turn 19 in April :)
Hi my name is Georgina and I'm looking for a share house with 3-4 people max, preferably female although this doesn't matter too much. I work full time in sales and I study Marketing part time at the University of South Australia. The beach is what i am all about in my spare time and i consider myself rather outgoing, pretty funny and good at advice. I love live music and going out but I'm also a huge fan of staying in for the odd movie or two with some drinks and friends. People describe me as an old soul sometimes because I enjoy home-cooked meals, older music and older films (I still like newer music & films too though). I'm looking for a household that's laid-back, respectful of privacy and tidy. Pets are not an issue - I love animals of any sort except spiders. Thankyou for reading and I hope to hear from you soon. Georgina
**** UPDATE **** I HAVE FOUND A PLACE **** Hi there, easygoing, friendly, responsible, mature yet young at heart, clean etc, looking preferably for a self contained type of room / studio / granny flat that has it's own bathroom. If it has it's own small kitchen that's a bonus. I am sociable but I also like my own space. I would like to live in a place that does not feel like a share house if you know what I mean. I am also looking for an all inclusive price per week including Rent + Bills + Internet all in the one price per week. **** UPDATE **** I HAVE FOUND A PLACE **** THANKS
Hi guys, with my girlfriend Zuzana are moving from Cairns to Adelaide in the middle of February and try to find our luck in this lovely city. Both of us are professionals in our fields and we are looking for some nice place to stay with great people. We are easy - going, friendly, positive and neat couple, love traveling, living active life and enjoying the time with friends on the beach and BBQ. We are planning to stay in Adelaide for a year at least, but we prefer 6 months lease.
Hello! I am moving from Melbourne to Adelaide for work. It's a recent development and I start on the 18th of March, so I am hoping to find somewhere suitable at or around that date. I'm open to an existing share house or teaming up with people. I'd like to live with people who are LGBTQI+ or LGBTQI+ friendly. I will be bringing my cat along as well, so if you want a pet and none of the responsibility, this is for you! However, if you're allergic to cats, this might not be a good option. My cat, Beans, was a stray I found living at my current property and have taken in. Unfortunately there's no way to tell how old she is due to missing teeth but her vet insists she's old. She's very friendly and always up for belly rubs, she'll cuddle you when you're sick or have had a bad day but watch out for drool! She's pretty well behaved, she's housetrained, doesn't scratch carpet or doors, meowing is at a minimum, she doesn't really get up on surfaces that she shouldn't with the exception of a particularly irresistible sunbeam as she sleeps a lot. Even though she's old, she still likes to play and occasionally runs up and down the hallway at night. She's an indoor cat but does sometimes go on a leash outside. I can provide statements from previous housemates that confirm that she is an ideal housemate/cat. I will need to live near public transport and I will be working in the city centre, so ideally somewhere relatively close would suit me best. I don't drive, so parking isn't a requirement. My ideal house would be somewhere with plenty of light as I have a huge amount of plants! Somewhere in a safe neighbourhood. As stated and somewhere cat friendly and LGBTQI+ friendly. A bit about me: I grew up in rural Victoria and moved to Melbourne to study Game (where I met my girlfriend, who might visit sometimes) Design and Psychology. I love plants, gardening and painting (watercolour). I'm moving to Adelaide for a game design position that I am very excited about. I'm somewhere between introverted and extroverted and adapt well to the people around me. I don't mind a bit of mess but I like to keep things pretty clean. I am vegetarian and have been my whole life. I do like quiet/alone time from time to time but I also do like to catch up and talk. I have a rental history which will be useful if you're looking for someone to team up with and can provide statements from previous housemates if necessary. If you have any questions, please ask away!! Ideal housemates: Some fun people who are also looking for a place to live!! If you are interested in teaming up or have a house share that you think would be appropriate, please message me.
I’m 22, work full time and will be starting to study soon. I have a part-time Labrador who is so full of love. Little doggy has two homes at the moment (this might change in the near future) - meaning I will need a pet friendly house. I am very clean in communal areas - I tidy up after myself constantly (my own room can be questionable at times tho). I like a quiet space at home to think and create, however I do like a get together once in a while with a few beers and good music (I LOVE music). I want to start eating a vegetarian diet again so a housemate in the same boat would be grand! Long story short - I’m a nice human being who loves chats and music, I sometimes love solitude, the beach, adventure and food. Side note: I also love fresh produce and want to start getting into growing my own veggies etc. I love ethically sourced things and want to minimise my plastic usage. Work wise, message me about it.
I am 27M Friendly, fun-loving, easy-going, helpful, very flexible, outgoing and social. I work part-time during the week and am a full-time university student, so i'm basically never home much. Love adventures, roadtrips, photography and listening to music when free. Love interacting with people, making new friends and having fun.
Hey everybody, I'm Kacey, I am 21, Australian and looking for some housemates to move in with. I am a first year full-time student studying graphic design at UniSA. I also intend to get casual work. I am friendly, outgoing, respectful, reliable and tidy. I have a great sense of humour and love to have a good laugh. I enjoy cooking, arts, crafts and design, board games, sports and the outdoors. I am also very social and adventurous and tend to spend most of my time out exploring or with friends when I'm not studying, although I also enjoy chilling at home on the couch at times. I am very eco friendly, so you will not see me leaving lights on and taps running unnecessarily. I am a non-smoker, occasional drinker and not a huge party goer, I would prefer to live with people who are the same, as well as around my age and girls, or a family. I love children and am also qualified with certificate 3 in childcare. I also love animals so pets would be an awesome addition. I do not have any pets of my own. If I sound like I would fit in with your household, please send me a message. Thank you.
Hi! I'm Scott, 27, geologist. I studied at the University of Melbourne, worked in Holland and Malaysia for a few years, and am now moving to Adelaide. I'm a quiet person at home (e.g. I only listen to music with headphones) so you'll never find me disruptive. That doesn't mean I'm not up for a good spot of camping or kayaking or jazz-lounge-hopping, however! Other fun facts: I'm an acoustic guitarist, and I used to teach popping (Google it!).
Moving to Adelaide for work from Queensland to work for the Masters UniGames event on in October in the city. Easy going, enjoy sport and a couple of drinks on a weekend. Looking for a room in a share house that's fairly sociable and enjoy a few drinks on the weekend and watching sport.
