Room # 1 - There will be two rooms available in February. Great location. Bus stop and bike station right outside. The house does not have a living room, so the kitchen and outside area are the common spaces. This room suits someone who is happy to come and go, who enjoys independent living and not a hand holding sharehouse.
Hey. I'm looking to share a flat, a single room own bath preferible. I work full time n I'm very easy going.
I am currently living on my own in a one bedroom apartment at Canterbury Towers, Fortitude Valley. I am looking to move into a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment close to the city. I have new modern furniture and am seeking a flatmate around my age (25) who has a full time job and is easy going but responsible.
I work full-time as a law clerk in Spring Hill and also doing my distance law degree. I am friendly, and love to travel. I am not a party person so I prefer to stay in a house that it is quite and neat I do not mind to have a few chats, drinks or meals together. I cook nice food as well. I go to work by bus so the location is important to me.
I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor! A Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job. I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!
Moving from the Sunshine Coast back to Brisbane as I've started a 2/3yr Interior Design degree. I quit my FIFO job in September of 2016 to pursue something I've been putting off for far to long. Chasing dollars instead of happiness. I'm pretty chill to live with, sometimes I make cookies and drink whisky. I've enjoyed living with people previously and have had one long term roommate (6yrs - we're best friends). I like to go to the gym and train hard, there was nothing else to do when I worked FIFO so I focused on fitness and personal improvement. I recently returned from a fitness holiday in Thailand where I trained at Tiger Muay Thai (if you haven't heard of it, give it a google - best thing i've done this year). You'll know if I've had a bad day because I'll start cleaning, so I guess that's a win for whoever I end up with. Ideally a spot in the Valley would be sweet, but am happy with anything within a close proximity. I'm still looking for work but it shouldn't take long to pin down a part-time gig. I have savings to get me through this transition phase. Keep it real Anna.
Great apartment inbetween the valley and CBD. An oasis inside the complex with resort style pools, spa, gym, sauna. Great security and huge balcony overlooking pools/BBQ area. Bus stops on doorstep and valley train station 400 metres away. Only a 10 minute walk into the CBD. Looking for easygoing flat mate who can enjoy a casual drink and respects privacy. Safe secure underground parking (extra $20 pw)
Hi! I currently live in Sydney and am moving up to Brisbane to study Paramedicine/Nursing at ACU this Feb. I'm quite easy going and clean. I have a few close friends up that way but thought I'd give being social a go and hopefully meet a few new mates while I'm at it! Feel free to hit me up with any questions! :)
Hi everyone, I'm Tom I've just moved to Australia from England. I'm a easy going guy who gets on with anyone. I enjoy going for a few drinks on the odd weekend but also have time for a quiet movie night in. I'm clean and tidy and have never had a problem with anyone I've lived with. I work as a personal trainer and performance coach so enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle. Get in contact :)
Hi, I'm a professional working in the Brisbane CBD looking to find someone to share with one or two others in a central location. I'd prefer to meet someone to find a place together, but happy to move into an existing property if the fit is right. Selling points for Michael include: - Clean and tidy, no stranger to a vacuum cleaner; - Produces baked goods for you from time to time; - Can bring along a high quality lounge suite; - Friendly, but happy to give you your space; - I won't always be just hanging around the house; - Comes with access to his Stan subscription. I'd appreciate meeting one or two like-minded, reasonably tidy people to share with. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further, I'm happy to meet for coffee/apartment hunting.
My name is Patrick age 26yo. Young professional, former Flight Attendant and Aviation Team Leader. Will be moving to the city to complete my Engineering Degree. I am very easy to get along with, everyone consider me funny and friendly. I enjoy travelling and also likes cleaning. I do not smoke or drink, but am flexible. Will be moving to the city end of January. I have a healthy financial record, therefore you can assure that the rent is payed on time. - Friendly - Sociable - Extremely Tidy - Very Clean - Professional - Full Time Student - Can Cook - Non Smoker - Non Drinker
Hey, my name is Hannah and I am about to relocate from Adelaide to Brisbane on January 30. I'm looking for housemate(s) who are financially reliable, clean, considerate and fun!!! I'm an outgoing, friendly and social person and enjoy exploring new bars & restaurants & cafes (absolutely love going out for breakfast and have been known to drive 30 mins just to get good coffee across town), the beach, good wine, cooking (sometimes). I love getting out for walks and hikes and keep a pretty healthy lifestyle but also love the finer things in life. I'm hoping to find housemates that enjoy sharing a wine or two together and a platter, are cool and respectful and basically that the house is somewhere that I enjoy being in and don't just have to stay in my room when I'm home. If this sounds like you too, I would love to hear from you
Amazing, clean, well-presented and central. You will have your own room with huge built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan and personal use of the main bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished except for your bedroom. Open to negotiating if you have house furniture - could use a bigger fridge and a coffee table! Massive and effective air-conditioning unit in the main lounge which filters through the house. New carpet, secure on second floor. Only 6 apartments in our building, with personal street access. Lap pool and gym onsite. Off-street parking (underground) or on-street residents permit parking available. Less than 5 minutes walk to Fortitude Valley station, Bowen Hills station is also close by. Easy access to Bowen Bridge Road and Airport Link Tunnel. Quiet at night. Friendly neighbours. Onsite management. Sorry, would prefer no couples, short-term stays or pets.
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with people around the same age as me to move into a place early February. I'm looking for a modern 4 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Newmarket, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me! :)
Spacious two-storey apartment with a city view. This apartment is in a great location, close to James St and surrounds and with easy access to the city. This is a small complex of only 7 units so it is a very friendly and quiet building. Room includes AC, built-in wardrobe, desk and access to your own bathroom (the main bathroom- the other 2 bedrooms have ensuites). You will also have your own secure carpark in the building. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished and also has AC. Electricity, gas and (unlimited) internet bills excluded from the rent.
This is a beautiful 2 bedroom flat located on McLachlan Street in the heart of Fortitude Valley. The apartment is directly across the road from the oh so delicious Ben's Burgers, a 10 minute walk to the Valley train station, 2 minutes to James street and a 15 minute walk to the Gasworks Woolworths. The room is very spacious and easily fits a queen sized bed. There is no built in wardrobe, however I am happy to leave the clothes hanger that is pictured. The apartment has loads of street parking and there is also parking out the back however it will only fit small cars.
Grandma always said I was an adorable little dumpling. What she really meant was that I am sociable, open minded, keeps to myself, easy-going, and not very adorable. This little dumpling is also smoke, party, and mess free. I have poor taste in modern art and a connoisseur of fine liquor. I have 3 words of Australian slang in my vocabulary and only 1 of them can be used for insults.
I'm a Brissie girl - home from living in Berlin for the past year and am looking to move into an apartment/house from mid February (or potentially earlier) with a friendly, communicative and organised housemate or two! I'm a very social person, but work full time as a Media and Communications Officer in the CBD so won't be home most of the day. However! I'm very happy to share dinners and wines and chats in the evenings (or separately hide in our rooms and watch tv shows on me-time days). I love travelling, joking around as much as possible and all of the food in the world! (Fun fact - I did work as a cupcake froster in Berlin, so you know I'm not messing around when I say desserts of any kind are my weakness)
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking (everyone says I'm pretty good at baking anything about matcha) at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment :)
My wife and I are English students from Brazil and we are looking for a double bed room to share in an apartment or house in city or inner city. We are very clean and tidy. We enjoy cooking, having a beer (not hard parties) and talking to practice our English.

About me, I am a French girl from the Caribbean. I was living in a share house of 7 international people in South Bank before my 2 month holidays in France this Christmas. I am a very tidy girl, friendly and open minded. I love cooking (and sharing it!), reading novels (SF, Fantasy, Thriller), watching movies. I like having a drink or two with my housemates. Hi Guys, I'm Grace I work full time as an Executive Assistant in the City/Valley so I am wanting to stay close to my work and I love the New Farm area! I am fairly quiet during the week and go to the gym most mornings - I am very noise conscious so you won't hear me! I enjoy relaxing and having a couple of drinks or trying a new bar/restaurant on weekends and I enjoy meeting new people but also love time to myself. On weekends I am usually between the Gold Coast and Brisbane depending on what I have on. I would like to find two like minded people to live with who are ideally happy and relaxed and take pride in their home. I have pretty much everything to set up a house/apartment except for a fridge. My lease ends on the 23rd of March but as the owner is selling the house I will be flexible to move out whenever! Please message me if you have any questions! I look forward to hearing from you!
Hows it goin, I'm Cory. I'm a Canadian from Vancouver studying kinesiology, and I'm doing an exchange at UQ for a term. Hobbies include drinkin beer, sports and music. Looking for a chill place to live in Bris from Mid feb to sometime in July. Preferably somewhere between UQ and the valley, I.e - Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, etc.
First off- I have a 1 year old cat named Big Mac who is pretty amazing. Considering moving to anywhere in Brisbane from Sydney, no set date just putting feelers out there. I'm a vet nurse who works nights currently. I'm not big on parties or a social butterfly- if I'm not working I'm sleeping, cleaning or netflixing I'll be hanging out with mac. Keen to chat if you want to know more.
Hi Jim. I'm studying full-time at QUT to become paramedic. I also work part-time or full-time as bartender depending on the season. Both are interesting but you get absolutely no sleep. I'm a friendly guy who likes to chat and drink with others; but when I'm home I prefer some privacy and quiet in my room to wind down (no party houses). Looking for a place close to work with easy access to public transport to the QUT campuses or city. I also have a car that I use for work , so off-street parking would be a bonus but not necessary if public transport is easily accessible. During my downtime at home I prefer reading, binge watching TV series, video gaming (headphones at night), or trying out cocktail recipes from the bar. I'm also a skilled *cough* barista, so I frequently make my own coffee at home.
