Hi there, I'm a kiwi girl and have lived in Brisbane for 2.5 years, working FT as a primary school teacher. I like to keep it low key during the week, however I love a night out whether it be drinks, dancing, movies, dinner etc or getting out of the city with friends and family during my weekends. I enjoy living in an environment where we have our own space, however get along enough to be able to vibe well with each other, watch Netflix and have a wine on a Friday! I can come across shy and I like my downtime but I also love being around good company and conversation. I am easy going and relaxed and love a good sense of humour, but ultimatley want to live with people who are, like myself, respectful, mature, conscious of cleanliness and personal space, and are responsible enough to pay their bills on time :). I'd prefer living with females but would be happy with a blend of both. If that appeals to you, please don't hesitate to contact me. Kara.
Hey, I'm a kind, fun, creative dude. Love cooking, (wouldn't mind sharing cooking sometimes) health and fitness, the outdoors, music and socialising. Got a little espresso machine and a little record player. Currently learning guitar and vocals so a musical or creative household would be ideal! I'm super tidy and would like to join a tidy house. Very organised guy so i'm all over them bills. Otherwise really chill. Looking for a place with air con (ideally in the room), a dishwasher, multiple bathrooms or ensuite and hopefully a pool! Ideally an apartment close to a train station too. sidenote: I can't do cats. Allergic. I'm pretty chill about smokers and I don't mind the occasional spliff but I don't enjoy stoner houses tbh.
Hi! I'm Sumieka, a 19 year old student studying childcare full time at tafe. I'm neat, quiet and keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for movie nights, game nights or anything that might take your fancy. I love animals but don't own any and I'm a non smoker however smoking doesn't bother me :) Im orginally from a small town in northern NSW. I'm looking for anything preferably $13- $150 or max $175 if bill are included, don't mind sharing with males or females and I'd prefer to live with people under 30, but it's not a deal breaker. I don't own a car so parking is not needed. :)
The apartment is a cozy 2 bed 2 bath with sweeping views over the valley, Storey bridge and city. The bedroom has a large built in wardrobe and would best fit a double bed but will fit a queen just fine. The room doesn't have an ensuite but you would have your own bathroom. Fully furnished (excluding the bedroom) with a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and washing machine, ducted air conditioning, balcony and designated parking space (which would be yours). The complex is pet friendly, has a fully equipped gym, yoga studio and pool with bar as well as an onsite restaurant and a wine bar just out the front. 20 minute walk into the city or 1 minute away from the Fortitude Valley train station and Brunswick st. Unlimited NBN and Netflix are included in the rent although water and electricity are not.
Originally from New Zealand, Marbs and I are basically 10/10 roommates if you're not allergic to cats. Dual-degree working professional, I travel occasionally for work. Weekends are likely spent traveling up or down the coast in my van surfing, otherwise keen for a few drinks/adventure/activities if local. Clean, considerate & fun! Flexible on price and move-in date for the right place.
Room unfurnished. There's a closet in the room. The rent will be 145 per week including water, internet, electricity, toilet paper and cleaning products. We split the housework every week The house is quite old and somewhat worn but is brimming with character and everyone always seems to love the quirkiness of the place. We have a sunroom, dining area, one shared bathroom and a living area. There are two verandahs and a washing room on a lower level. In all, there are four bedrooms. The house is close to shops, bus and train stations (F. Valley and Bowen Hills), cafes, bars etc. It is located at the bottom of the Valley closer to Bowen Hills, Newstead, Teneriffe so it is not in the busy and noisy area. I posted this ad at Gumtree as well.

Hey there, i'll be coming to Brisbane in February for my course at QUT Kelvin Grove. I'm a down to earth friendly guy. I am searching for a furnished home with friendly mates, clean and peaceful apartment. Which is close to uni and cbd and has basic amenities for me. As I want to make the best out of my international experience. Also, drop me a message if you want to team up :) You can also DM me on my instagram @ashutosh_vashisht !
Hi, I'm Tamara and I'm dutch. I still live in Amsterdam, but will move to Brisbane to start a new adventure soon. Easy going, tidy, sociable are 3 words that would describe me best. I always lived with room mates, so I can say I'm pretty familiar with the whole room mate atmosphere. In general I always try to make sure that I'm considerate of my room mates and also leave a nice environment for them. I love having drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and couch sessions with my roomies, altho I can also enjoy some alone time to recharge my batteries. Next to that I'm always up for board games! Currently I'm working as a product manager for a sustainable fashion brand, but I feel like a new challenge. That's why I decided to leave my job and country to start fresh in Australia. Please note I'm not a back packer. I'm looking for something long term and built something.
I will be moving to Brisbane at some point in February, as I'm still waiting for my 407 Visa. I would prefer a place close to the city center, as I will be working there. I am looking for a quiet place where privacy is not an issue, hopefully not too small and not too hot hopefully. Ideally with a fast internet connection and plenty of light, I am not a fan of gloomy places. As for myself, I am a PhD student in computer science coming from Athens, Greece. I am going to be in Brisbane for 5 months for an internship, so most of my weekdays will be spent at work, but I still would love to meet people who would be willing to go out for a drink and explore the city with me during the weekend (especially the beaches). I really love music - I try to play the guitar from time and time and I'm also trying to learn how to sing at the moment. I also enjoy drawing, reading or just watching movies or series to chill before going to bed. However, I mostly enjoy the sun and being outdoors for a walk or coffee, I really can't handle staying inside for too long. I really love cats and dogs even more, so if you have a pet it would be a great plus for me!
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Hello i’m Korean. i'm outgoing and I'm good with people. i'm looking for a room to stay with my friend. I have no pet and I will clean my room. I am going to live 4 months and my friend is going to live 6 months.
I’m 31, full time working professional in Brisbane City - law. I’m easy going, active, like to (try) and eat healthy, like cooking, baking.. yass I’ll make you treats if you pick me, don’t drink or smoke but like to be social and go out with friends etc, clean but not obsessive about it, responsible, considerate, pay bills on time, reliable income. Play guitar (not loudly), love the beach, bodyboarding, getting outdoors and generally always out of the house training for something.. Crossfit, gym, swimming, running you name it. Pretty much only at home to sleep, shower and prep my meals.. to eat on the run ha. Find it easy to get along with anyone. Don’t want a party house. Looking for a friendly chilled housemate that can have chats at night after work but also have some quiet time too and relax. I have my own bedroom furniture so unfurnished room would be preferred. Keen to get together and have a coffee to get to know eachother as well. Thanks!
