Hi there, I’m starting my PhD at Newcastle University and looking for accommodation around the area (moving from Sydney). I have an easy-going attitude to life and I’m respectful of other people’s space. I like to socialise and explore places (especially being new to Newcastle) as well as having my own downtime. I also enjoy cooking and I’m good with keeping things tidy.
Hey I’m Anthony and have lived and worked in Newcastle for 3.5 years. I work full time Monday to Friday and mostly keep to myself during the week. I don’t mind a quiet beer or 2 however definetly not a partier. Will most likely be out and about on the weekends visiting friends, enjoying coffee and will find me at the beach during the summer. My house mate has recently sold her house in Kotara and we need to be out by the end of the year so looking for something by then but up for negotiations. I’m easy going and very respectful, clean up after myself and do my fair share of cleaning. I am not a bad cook and up for house dinners but also like the sneaky takeaway and eating out. I’m currently saving up to buy my own place but just need another 6-12months to save. So if you are interested in offering me a place so I’m not homeless at the end of the year please contact me. Perks - I’m an Exercise Physiologist 👌
I’m 30 years old, work full-time as a support worker and am an honest, respectful person. When I’m not at work, I’m at the beach or catching up with friends. I’m a social person and easy to get along with. I have a beautiful staffy that will come with me. He is 3 years old and very friendly. I’m looking for a place with a fenced yard & friendly housemates.
My name is Emma, I'm 22 and I'm studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy full-time at UON. I'm currently working casually in retail to help support my studies. I'm pretty easy going and friendly, and am a tidy person. I spend my free time playing video games, listening to music, hanging with friends, and exploring places around the Newcastle area. University/studying is my priority. I enjoy casual drinks/catch ups with friends every now and again but I am definitely not interested in a party house. I'm looking for house mates who share similar values and a place that I can focus on my work. If there's anything else you'd like to know please don't hesitate to ask :)
Private, quiet, roomy, homly, entertaining. Hillsborough is a quiet pretty suburb next door to Charlestown square and Warner’s bay. It has its own oval and tennis courts and walking tracks. This house has a pool 🏊♂️ and I am looking to install and spa and fire pit. It has a fire place internally for warm relaxing comfort and the street is wide and quiet. The house is on the end of a cul de sac. So good!

Hi! I am looking to find another female or two who are around the same age as me, that I could either move in with or sign a new lease with. I am clean and tidy, and happy to purchase new furniture if needed. I am a kindergarten teacher and enjoy going to the gym so throughout the week I am quite busy. I would love to live with someone who enjoys going on walks when it’s not a gym day and going out exploring/enjoying food on the weekends. Looking for someone who will be a friend, not just a house mate! I would like to live with someone who likes a drink every now and again and would like to come on a night out but who also enjoys their own space at times.
Hi! I am Lisa-Marie, a 22-years old Dutch graduate student in the field of pharmacy. I am looking for a nice place to stay in Newcastle, as I will perform my MSc research project at UON. I would really appreciate a clean house with chill flatmates to come home to at the end of a hectic day, but most importantly I would love roommates who are open for a nice chat and a glass tea / wine. Ofc with respect for eachothers privacy ;) little bit about me: when I am free I love to meet new people / hang out with them, explore new restaurants / bars, go to the beach, bake, dance or do yoga.
Neat, respectful and easy going. Happy to keep to myself and/or be social with others. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing the dishes! I am relatively quiet and enjoy my own company, so there’s no risk of any wild parties or anything of the sort happening... haha. I do however like to chat to people and love having good people that I get along with around me if having me be a bit more of a social butterfly is preferred. I’m pretty chilled either way :) I do smoke, but no more than maybe five or less in any one day and would always do so outside in a well ventilated area, I also have a good habit of disposing of cigarette butts appropriately and promptly once finished. I am currently, and have been for the last seven years, working as an AIN, and often am working on a rotating roster, so shift work is inevitable. I am happy to move out of where I am now and into a new place ASAP! :) look forward to hopefully meeting nice people and living in a comfortable, relaxed and cosy feeling home Kindest regards, B.
We are a very chilled out people, love having fun and always open to meet new people and have a chat. I recently moved down from Sydney and I am working full time as a disability support worker. I love helping people and always give out a helping hand.
Have lived in plenty of share houses and know the difference between private and respectful but also having a wine or two at the end of the week. I have recently returned from a contract as a social worker working in remote central Australia. Previous to this, I lived in Newcastle for five years but grew up in NZ. Love banter, shiraz, cooking , running, reading, travelling, gym but most importantly love a clean, pretty chilled out house to come home to at the end of a hectic day at work. I have a small-meduim size rescue pup that I found at the bottom of Uluru (pretty crazy story). So looking for a place that is dog friendly. I understand that having an animal is a liability and have no problems putting down an extra deposit if necessary. Look forward to hearing from you all soon
Enjoys good coffee, Netflix and all things fashion. Easy to get along with, clean and tidy. Working professional. Part time mental health worker and part time fashion designer. Prefer female housemates. No drugs/partyhouse. Unfortunately as much as I love furry friends, I am allergic to the adorable fluffy friends and can’t be in a place with pets. Looking for somewhere with a flexible term as I am looking to move into a place more permanently with a friend.
Hi I’m Samantha I work full time in pharmacy .I’m pretty low key and I do like my own space but I love a good chat too ! Through the week I usually work then head to the gym . On the weekends tho I do enjoy going out for drinks with my friends :).
21yo female, full time working in construction. 4 years rental history and 2 of that being sharehouses. I’m interested in team ups for a small 2 bedroom place or rooms for rent. I have enough furniture to rent a place if you don’t have anything. In summer you’ll probably find me at the beach, gym or out the back having a drink & bbq, feel free to join!
I am a very clean and quite house mate. I work alot so im hardly home but when I am im happy for a chat and to hang out ! Very reliable for rent payments I do have a little kitten whos very pleasent and dosnt cause much trouble at all
Hi there, Nice to meet you. I have created this ad to see if we can find a suitable place for us via flatmates.com.au before going down the real estate rental option. Lucie and I are looking for a spacious clean and quiet place to call home, long term. We would prefer to share with only one other person, own bathroom would be great too. I work full-time on the Central Coast, while Lucie studies part-time in Sydney and works casual jobs in Newcastle. We are both very friendly and respectful people. We always clean up after ourselves, make little noise, not big party animals but don't mind a few beverages, more outdoorsy people! We need to be as close as possible to a train station. If your place is not within walking distance to a train station, from WIckham Interchange to Fassifern; it is not a possible option for us, sorry. Please feel free to message us. Cheers
