I am 22 and just graduated university as a primary teacher. Looking for casual teaching work in Newcastle but will most likely be working full time when school term starts. I lived in the country and moved to Sydney for 4 years and now needing another change. I am clean, organised, social but do still love my down time. I am past my partying days but still happy to have a couple of drinks and hopefully looking for housemates that can become friends. I enjoy games nights, watching Netflix and am free most weekends. I am pretty much happy to live in most suburbs of Newcastle as long as they aren't further than 25 minutes from the city.

The room is freshly painted and available now with furniture negotiable. The home is clean and tidy with multiple furnished living areas and fully furnished kitchen and laundry. Hi there! I am a full-time working professional moving to Newcastle to take up a position for 12 months. I will have a busy schedule with lots of travel so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. I like to cook, so an adequate kitchen is a must! I won't be bringing any pets and spend most of my downtime going for walks, watching movies, or visiting home in Sydney. Hope to be in touch soon!
Close to almost everything you would need like Westfield Kotara, Aldi, John Hunter, shops, cinemas, 15 mins to beach. Safe complex to live in with friendly neighbours. Bus at entrance to complex and Kotara train station a 15 min walk away. Air conditioning. Gas heating. NBN/Wifi. Free phone calls - mobile & landlines. Room furnished with bed, desk with chair, drawers, wardrobe, ceiling fan, carpet. Share bathroom. Recently renovated and modern. Low allergy and chemical environment.
The house is located in a small complex sharing a driveway and pool with 7 other houses. We are at the end of the driveway backing onto bushland meaning it is quiet with nice views. lawn and pool are maintained by strata. Airconditioning is in the loungeroom but mostly cools the whole house. House is furnished with washing machine and dryer. Bedroom has built in wardrobe.
Creative artistic type Very laid back and easy going I make friends very easily, but also respectful of privacy and space Super clean and keep tidy 👌🏼 I’m a Massage Therapist and work in the Hunter Valley region 💆🏼♀️
I work full time as a Sales Admin down in Swansea and I’m coming into my 4th year in the Newcastle area. I am pretty cruisey and easy to get along with, not a whole lot phases me. I am clean and tidy, I like to be social with other housemates and also like my own space. I am looking for a house with like minded people.
Neat, respectful and easy going. Happy to keep to myself and/or be social with others. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing the dishes! I am relatively quiet and enjoy my own company, so there’s no risk of any wild parties or anything of the sort happening. I do however like to chat to people and love having good people that I get along with around me if having me be a bit more of a social butterfly is preferred. I’m pretty chilled either way :) I do smoke, but no more than maybe five or less in any one day and would always do so outside in a well ventilated area, I also have a good habit of disposing of cigarette butts appropriately and promptly once finished. I am currently, and have been for the last seven years, working as an AIN, and often am working on a rotating roster, so shift work is inevitable. I am happy to move out of where I am now and into a new place ASAP! :) look forward to hopefully meeting nice people and living in a comfortable, relaxed and cosy feeling home Kindest regards, B.
I'm currently working full time as a business manager at a car dealership in Newcastle and studying for a new career, length of stay could be anywhere from 6-10 months as I'm hoping to be accepted into the Police force which requires me to move out to Goulburn in August if accepted. I'm a very clean person and always happy to help with things around the house. I am looking for a place where I can have my own space to study and flat mates that are always open to getting coffee or Cocktails. Massive animal lover and happy socialising or just doing my own things.
Hola, I'm Mitch. Moving back to Newcastle to study Engineering at UON. I have been in Brisbane with the Army/ Ambulance since I was 18. Super clean and tidy, can thank the Army for that. Also know CPR if anyone has too big of a night :D Looking for respectable, clean and driven housemates who are looking to make the house a home. Ill most likely be in my room studying if what they tell me about Engineering is true, but if your ever keen to do something, I've been told Ive got a rubber arm.
I'm Gemma. I'm 21 in July and moved to Newcastle two years ago from Dubbo for Uni. I'm studying a double degree in Law and Communications and work casually. I have lived on campus at the University the past two years and do have an offer to move back in, however I would love to find an alternative if possible as living on campus can get pretty hectic (and expensive) sometimes. I'm pretty easygoing and always up for a chat! In between a busy degree and work I enjoy some downtime binge watching Netflix or hanging out having a few drinks/playing board games with friends. I like going to the beach on my days off and I am usually pretty tidy, especially in common spaces. I also make a mean lasagna. Looking for a fun but relaxed house where the housemates can become friends and hang out but also respect each other's personal space when we want to nap or just relax on our own. Ps. Dog in the photo is my parent's dog, I won't be bringing any pets with me.
Super easy going gal who loves to have a laugh and share memes. I work full time through the day and teach pole dancing a few nights a week. Respectful of people’s space and love to have a wine + cheese over a movie some night :)
Hey, I'm a 25yo retail assistant/soon-to-be-again student just looking for a pretty chill house to move into or some easy-going people to team up with for a place. I work part-time, normally about 3 days a week, but also volunteer at a few local art galleries and will be starting my second BA this year at UNSW (commuting 1 day a week to start) so I'm out quite a bit. I stay pretty busy so I do like being able to come home to a kinda quiet place and having my space but still would love to move into a place with similar people that I could get along and hang out with. I'm tentatively looking for a place for 6 months right now just because if my study load/number of days I need to be in Sydney changes with later uni terms then I'll probably move down there later on. Message me if you have any more questions :)
Hi there I’ve recently moved to Newcastle for work and the lease where I am staying has run out and I am now looking for another place. I work massive hours so would barely ever be home. Main interests are going to the gym and anything to do with health and fitness and also hanging out with friends at the beach or a cool bar.
Hey I’m Nikki, I’ve just moved back from the UK and am looking to move out of home again. I’m in my first year of nursing while working part time at the athletes foot! I’m super flexible and really easy going! I’m just looking for a one bedroom place :)
Hi I'm Steph, I'm a QLD original but have been living in Newcastle for almost a year now. A bit about me – I'm a super friendly, easy going and social person. I work full time, so between that, sneaky afternoon beach visits and a bit of sports/gym - my Mon-Fri life is kept pretty busy. On weekends I am pretty active/social also so provided the sun is out, you won't catch me indoors! ☀️ I'm a clean and tidy person and hoping to find a roommate/s of similar age and traits. I've lived in sharehouses for several years now and understand the importance of personal space, but I'm always up for wine and a cheese platter also! I like home to feel homely, so I’d preferably like to live with people I don’t just brush shoulders with in the hall way. Not looking for a party house but most definitely up for social events! Off street parking would be ideal (not a must); wifi would be great also. If I sound like your kind of housemate please send me a message 😁 ** Move date is flexible, but ideally no earlier.
My name is Melody, I am 20 Years Old. I am very bubbly and happy but am an introvert so I do enjoy a fair bit of time by myself so am after a roommate that will respect my privacy. I absolutely love animals but am able to live without them as I spent a year living over in America. On my days off I am always at the beach enjoying the sun and sea. I love to dance and enjoy life.
Have lived in plenty of share houses and know the difference between private and respectful but also having a wine or two at the end of the week. I have recently returned from a contract as a social worker working in remote central Australia. Previous to this, I lived in Newcastle for five years but grew up in NZ. Love banter, shiraz, cooking , running, reading, travelling, gym but most importantly love a clean, pretty chilled out house to come home to at the end of a hectic day at work. I have a meduim size rescue pup that I found at the bottom of Uluru (pretty crazy story). So looking for a place that is dog friendly. She's super great, LOVES other dogs but she is still young so looking for someone that may have a pup as well to keep them busy! I understand that having an animal is a liability and have no problems putting down an extra deposit if necessary. Look forward to hearing from you all soon!
Hey girls & guys, I’m Bec 21, full time working in construction administration and I’m also a wedding decorator come weekends. I’m looking for either a room to rent with housemates that I will get along with and make it a home not just a house we both live in. (Current situation) Either way it goes i would ideally like to team up with 1 or 2 people and get a rental with a back yard/entertaining area as I have mostly all furnishings for a home sitting in storage. Always up for chats, dinners, beers & binge tv seasons
Hey !! I’m looking to move in February to Newcastle from Canberra as I’ll be pursuing my masters. I would love to be a part of an existing sharehouse but, I also wouldn’t mind teaming up to create a new share house . I’m really clean when it comes to tidying up in my spare time as well as making an effort in the house to keep everything nice and clean for others . In my own time I love cooking , spending some alone time but , also would love going out for an occasional drink or two , definitely don't mind the occasional banter it would be amazing living with people who're chilled, clean but also respect privacy.
Hello! Our names are Tim and Emily, we are both currently studying to become teachers whilst working part time. We both enjoy anything outdoors such as walks/adventures as well as a drink or two and some days out. Rainy days aren’t the worst with board games, Netflix being there as well as just relaxing around the house most likely doing uni work when needed. We are looking for a couple or individuals to move in with or find a place with to obviously help make it a bit cheaper on everyone. We are neat and tidy and more than happy to have a share of the house work as well respecting others privacy as we do appreciate ours. If you are keen to talk about things or are interested in our ad then please feel free to message me.
Easy going nature, with great sense of humour. Always clean up after myself. I mainly keep to myself but always up for a social beer or two over a movie or when the occasion calls for it. Always available to help out when someone needs a hand.
