Hi I’m Rowan, Originally from the NSW south coast, I am about to start full time work in Sydney as an Environmental Officer. I’m looking to rent a room in a humble abode or team up with like-minded people in a place of our own. I am well-versed in share house living, both in Sydney and abroad, so I respect your need for privacy and peace & quiet. I am social and down to earth. I have a passion in photography and music as well as the environment and sustainability. On weekends you’ll find me checking out bars/cafes and live music, watching AFL or getting outdoors, hiking etc. Always up to compromise, always up to chat. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more, cheers.
We have just moved to Sydney with my partner, over from Melbourne after being granted PR. Looking to find a place with a homely vibe, clean and with house mates who are respectful of each others privacy yet happy to share the off glass of wine at times. Alternatively a 1 bed place would also be considered
I'm Steph, 28 years old from England. I have been in Australia since last February and am currently in Tasmania finishing my farm work so I can stay here at least another year. Was previously living in Paddington and then Camperdown and I'll be back in Sydney around 10th Jan looking for my next place. I'm an HR professional who will be working full time enjoys making the most of the city exploring, spending time at the beach/walks, going out for dinner & drinks. Looking for like minded flatmates who are keen to hang out but also respect each other's space. If it sounds like we could be a match let me know :)
I'm a full time student working. Looking for a place that's tidy and relatively quiet where everyone respects each other's personal space but also enjoys the occasional get together. I don't really enjoy parties or noisy get togethers unless they're LAN parties or movie nights.
I have actually found a house, but since this account is active for another month I thought it's worth a try to advertise myself for a job as an architect as well. If there is any architects or other creative goeroes reading this, that might have jobs or know a place where they are hiring, this is all appreciated! I'm trained as an architect in the Netherlands, lots of social designing, placemaking and sustainability came with that. I continued education in the United States where I worked for a public art artist and a design and build landscape architect. After university I went to Cambodia for humanitarian work, design and build, and got myself fallen in love with bamboo. In Cambodia I worked for 2,5 years with a variety of projects, refurbishing an old garment factory, greenscapes in a concrete jungle, master plans for new developments, rooftop jungle garden campgrounds and parametric designed furniture. All interesting and necessary in a booming economical but too raped developing environment. In Australia I hope to continue innovative design, concept development (this is what I'm best at) with a firm that also has like minded ideas of a sustainable world. I'm planning on staying long term in Australia, but for the moment it is a work holiday visa that I have In my free time, I have an outdoor mindset, love to be in the woods, fields, beach, grass with my bicycle. Rock climbing, salsa dancing. In other words, I'm always keeping myself busy, but I won't be found in the office for night owl times either every night. If you know anyone or are the person to be in touch with, I'm happy to meet!
Hi, This is Chandrima, 26 year old. I am a PhD student at the Australian National University and will be finishing it soon. I am going to move to Sydney in the beginning of November this year as a research student in the University of Sydney. I am looking to rent a studio apartment/one bed room flat/ small house close to Sydney Central for myself, the budget being $350-450. I am clean, tidy and reliable (I have been living in a student accommodation in Canberra since 2016). I do not smoke and do not have pets. I also like gardening. So, if you have a garden and want someone to look after it, I am the ideal person ! Please feel free to send me messages if you want to know more. Thanks, Chandrima
I'm a calm and considerate englishman who works in social housing. When not working I like to go bushwalking, do meditation + yoga, and follow sports such as NRL + AFL. I'm currently spending the northern summer back in the UK, but will be returning to Sydney in November for the summer Downunder.
