I am a down to earth professional small business owner. Enjoy the company of like minded intellectual, and relaxed individuals, and would welcome cooking, conversing and sociallising together, but also respect own space and privacy
Hello :) I'm fairly new to Adelaide, though I'm planning on permanently living here as I've got family here and it's really growing on me :) I'm currently living with my dad and have been for the past year though I'm thinking it's time to move and hopefully get to meet some new people. I do have some bedroom furniture, so I'd prefer a room that could accommodate for that.. Ie: king sized bed, tv, a cabinet that it sits on and a bed side table. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating in the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally :) I am currently on centrelink due to some health issues, so I would need a place that can accommodate for rent assist :) A little about me, I'm a friendly and easy to talk to kind of person. I will happily respect your privacy and usually keep to myself. Generally I'll just plod along being a little ant :) Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Hey! I'm moving to Adelaide on less then a months notice after unexpectedly landing a job in fisheries research. I grew up in Brunswick heads, right next to Byron Bay. My past 5 years or so have been spent travelling and living in Sydney whilst studying Environmental Management majoring in Marine Science and working as a surf coach. I've lived in plenty of share houses since leaving home, and like to think of myself as well house trained, always cleaning up after myself, and making sure house duties are spread amongst everyone. I'm a very social person and try to get active each day, either playing sport or going to the gym. I am always up for a post work drink and up for the occasional wild night, but have well and truly gotten my partying days out of my system, so am not looking for that sort of environment anymore as now I value my sleep too much! Being completely new to the area, and having always lived in very social share houses, it would be great find a place with people I get along well with and can provide more than just a place to sleep and eat :)
Hey! A bit about me: • Studying a Master of Project Management at UniSA and enjoying it • Enjoy lifting weights, running, and eating a healthy diet • Love music and write poetry nearly everyday • Looking for a house with a bit of a community feel to it, such as doing some gardening together once a month or occasionally having dinner together • My expectations are that people are reasonably friendly, respectful, and clean, and that no one has a drug or alcohol problem; and that basic appliances are working. Cheers :) Josh
Hi there! My name is Virginie and I'm a French Native Speaker from Belgium. I’m an Online French Tutor who loves traveling, meeting people, discovering new cultures, and living new experiences. I do enjoy my regularly practice of meditation and yoga. In 2013, I went on a voyage across Australia. Then I settled and lived in Queensland for almost 4 years before moving back home for a while. Today, I’m back in Australia to make the most of my visa ending in February 2020. Currently in Adelaide, I’m looking for a room for the next 5 weeks. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi my name is Georgia, from the UK. I am 19 years old and at the end of February i will be moving to Adelaide for a 3 months on a working holiday visa. i'm friendly, laid back and love to have fun and experience new things. I’m super clean and a bit of a neat freak which makes me the perfect person to live with!
I'm Brazilian. I've been worked in a organic farm for the past 5 years. I'm vegetarian, but flexible in certain social occasions. I don't drink, don't smoke and don't use drugs. I like simple things like cooking and take a walk in the beach. I love sports, yoga, hiking... and I play guitar and flute as hobby. I like to live in clean and organized places. Usually, I don't spend much time watching TV or surfing in the web, I'd rather stay outdoors moving my body. Meet people from other cultures and living in heterogeneous group is a very interesting experience for me to have. I've abroad a few times, I spent the hole 2012 year working as a volunteer in a humanitarian organization. I'm very tolerant and easy going. I practice meditation twice a day when it's possible.
I have a great sense of humour and like to make people laugh. I work as a Disability Support Worker 9 to 3.30 Mon to Friday and have done so for over 5 years, which is very rewarding. I love op shopping and a bargain. I like to socialise normally a Tuesday and a Friday. Like my weekends to relax and chill. Rented for 6 years but now looking for shared accommodation to cut the cost of living on my own. Hope this enough insight into me, for now.
G'day, I'm looking to find a place closer to my work and simplify day to day living. Preferably doing all that near the beach. I really enjoy the outdoors, travelling and the live music scene plus a couple of drinks to go with it. I'm a bit of a greenie! I like being eco-friendly. Save the turtles! I would love to find a social house-sharing situation where everyone is easy going, flexible and up for the odd drink or two.
